out of all of these the most visually pleasing is re7, i really love the red and green, it was fun making all the frames with their little trinkets that relate to the current events, the one with the lords was especially fun to make

daniela is my fave, i think she looks so cute, chris is a close second though, i drew lady D first and based everyone else off of her, my least favorite is donna just because there isnt a lot going on

this may be my favorite karl i have ever drawn and i did it with my finger on flipaclip and i have never been able to replicate it again and its making me so depressed
i really like miranda in this as well, she looks very pretty
some of my favorite frames!
this impact frame of ethan being caught by karl, i think he looks like a really stressed hamster and its really funny to me
paranoid ethan pre re8 was very fun to draw, i like how scared and nervous he looks

the eveline segment is the only part with shading and i liked it alot, i think she looks spooky

here is some fanart of a scene from @styck-figure's AMAZING FIC 'Mission Statement'. please go check it out, its so good at exploring Chosen's and Dark's relationship and i could not recommend it enough. their fics really are so great and if you do end up reading them, i also highly recommend 'A Heroic Archetype', which is my personal favourite of their series.
the italicised text is an extract from the fic that I thought would be really nice to draw. i interpreted this scene as Dark looking very angry but you could tell that there was no real emotion behind it because this 'anger' was all because of their code and not their true self. (also i really like drawing intense expressions so i thought this would be more interesting)

Charlies Design:
I went with the overalls and baggy shirt because of like- one image that popped up and I thought it was pretty neat LMAO
According to my Mum, fashion for kids in the 80's was like- Hand me downs, but idk, I don't think Charlie has an older sibling to give her outfits, maybe nicked Henry's old shirt or something lmao idk, but I like the design I went with, I think it's pretty neat.
Also gave her short hair mostly to make a homage to little me who back when Pizzaria Sim released, didn't realise the sprite of Charlie had like, a ponytail?? And drew her with incredibly short hair. Also, I really like the hairstyle for her so! :D
Puppet design: For my AU in fact :>
(Also whoops, ignore my signature being backwards, I didn't realise the thing was flipped when I signed it LMAO)
My idea for her, is an entity that resides in the V.A.N.N.I mask. After Cassie obtains it- the puppet entity guides her to a place of rest, a tree in the deepest parts of the program for her to protect her. Like the deepest parts of the Balloon Boy minigame in FNAF 3 where you see the tree with the kids under it? Surely that wasn't programmed. The puppet entity hijacked the masks program, hence the nightmarionne plushies you see, but she recognised Cassie as a child and to shield her from the virus, she saves her and brings her to the haven.
I have alot more ideas for the puppet entity... might make a little comic.

day sseven of drawing lizzie shadowlady everyday until life smp season 5
concept/layout yoinked from lumirin
alt versions under the cut:
Etho w/o mask, Ren w/o sunglasses, Jimmy post-double life (he got a tan :D)
"canon colours" (colour-picked from skins, probably not the exact hues but eh). some fun things i noticed:
martyn and scott are both blinding when placed next to everyone else
grian, joel and jimmy all have a somewhat greenish undertone to their skin tones that makes them look kind of sickly (jimmy's changed his, joel's god skin had a warmer tone)
ren's colours are Really Saturated
i draw pearl alot more brunette than she really is
tango, etho, grian and scott were all paler than i thought they would be
lizzie, ren, skizz and jimmy were all more tan than i thought they would be
bigb, mumbo and skizz are use pure black in their skins which made life difficult for me (bdubs does too but sparingly)
lizzie and cleo were the ones i changed the least by far.

✮A/N: so sorry for the late reply🙏🙏 i wasnt sure if you wanted an angst? Or fluff? This was originally supposed to be angst where ena got jealous?? But i decided to scrap that yknow? Since reader here is a beginner, i feel like their drawings are good but not that good to make ena feel jealous.
✮Synopsis: ena sees you drawing and cant help but watch you.
✮Contains: fluff! Gn! Reader, ena is jealous at you from the start, reader calls ena, shinonome instead of her firstname, reader later calls ena her firstname, ena and reader are not close friends, just friends.
When ena first saw you drawing she didnt think much of it, she saw how nice your drawing is, making her feel a tinge of jealousy.
Her peeking was soon turned into staring, you noticed her staring frequently, she kept moving her seat at least an inch closer here and there, thats when you decided to speak up.
"..need something..?" You ask awkwardly, ena shakes her head "ah! No,no.. i just wanna watch you draw.. if thats okay with you, i didnt know you were an artist.." she added, you shook your head at her remark "oh, uhm.. im not an artist! Im just trying out drawing.." you replied "oh? But you art looks good for a beginner, can i watch you draw?" She asks, you nodded and you continued to draw while ena was watching you, you noticed how she watched was very focused.. was she studying how you draw? You didnt think much of it and continued drawing until you had an idea.
"Hey, shinonome can i ask you something?" You ask, ena nodded "oh, sure, what is it?" She asks, sounding intrigued, "would you like to draw with me?" Without hesitation ena nodded "oh, sure!" She says and grabs some pens and her sketchbook, while ena was flipping the pages, looking for a clean page to draw on, you couldn't help but stare at her drawings, they were very good..! Majestic!
"You sure draw alot shinonome, can i see your drawings? If you dont mind that is.." ena was a bit reluctant but eventually agreed, you flipped over some pages and saw a drawing of hers, it was a bouquet of flowers, the next was a colorful wolf, and the next was a girl who had no emotions, she has alot of different arts on her drawings , you couldn't help but point them out, "you also draw animals? Thats so cool shinonome..!" You exclaimed, ena cant helo but blush at your compliment, after all its not everyday someone acknowledges her for her art. "Oh, and this ones a flower, and thats a wolf.. how do you manage to draw all these things?" You ask, ena answers your questions and sooner or later, you both found yourselves talking about art, with ena teaching you the basics.
"I didnt know there were multiple things to study with art.. i thought you could just scribble here and there.." you groan playfully, ena chuckles at your statement "well yes its important to learn the basics, but whats more important is to have fun" she mentioned, you smile at her words and nodded in agreement.
While you were chatting and drawing with her you suddenly have the urge to ask her a question. "Oh, shinonome.! Theres one last thing i have to ask you" you added, ena nodded "oh sure" she replied "why did you think i draw good despite being a beginner? Whats so special about my art that makes it special than a beginner?" You ask before quickly trying to brush it off "a-ah! No need to answer its just.. the question's been lingering on my mind for some time" ena thinks for a moment, not too sure of her answer before eventually replying."well, the characteristics of your drawings are far more different than beginners.. thats what i noticed.. your lines are somewhat refined.. when i was teaching a friend of mine about drawing, her lines were uneven and she was overusing outlines.. which made her drawings appear more.. heavy? But yours is different.." she replied, it was making you feel confident, you were different from other beginner artists, your ego has been boosted thanks to ena! "Oh wow.. that made me feel confident.. thanks shinonome!" you smile at her, and she smiled back.
"But why that question?" She asks. "Well, it kind of caught me off guard that you told me that my drawings were different from other beginner artists and i just wanna know" you replied and ena nodded to herself soon enough a chime was heard, indicating school was over, you and ena both packed your things and cleaned up your desks.
"It was nice talking to you, shino-" ena cuts you off before you can even finish your sentence "oh, no.. please call me ena" she smiled "oh okay ena, and please call me [Y/N]" you added and ena nodded "okay [Y/N], you were saying?" You cleared your throat and continued your statement. "I was wondering if you could.. uhm.. bring your sketchbook's tomorrow, i really wanna see your drawings and yknow, maybe have some inspiration?" You ask "its okay if you dont-" ena interrupts and nodded happily "why yes.! Im more than happy, ill make sure to bring my favorite sketchbook" she added, you nodded and waved goodbye, going to your separate ways.
Ena was very happy when you asked to see more of her drawings, she was happy that you acknowledge her drawing skills, maybe she would being more sketchbooks than expected.. oh well! More references for you!

hi friends :D! i FINALLY finished my concept art for mythos!Jon and im so happy with him- look at him. plese. i spent so long on this
the sketches were all of my initial concept art for him! he's. so fun to draw. even if it did take me a bit to figure out how to do so. i love his hair ;_; <3
overall his design is very inspired roman Catholicism but. like. more fun? idk lol i just vibe with it. might make the tie darker? and the gloves with his cassock might look good with another color? eh! whatev, i might change it i might not- but this is it so far :D!
for context the Magnus Mythos is an au where the fears are gods rather than paranormal entities like in canon- here is my initial post on that if you want to know more! or if you just want to see art of the Ceaseless watcher :3!!! im really so happy so many of y'all seemed to like it ;w; it makes me feel so warm aa ilu all <3

highly recommend you read the linked post because alot of this probably wont make much sense otherwise dsjgfdjgfdb-
so, as a young child Jon grew up neutral on religion. his grandmother didn't favor any one of the gods more than the other and that sort of thinking carried over to him for a good while
when Jon was 8, he had a close encounter with a creature born from the Web: a giant spider that would tell you your fate (and possibly offer you a gift) if you gave it a sacrifice
Jon had found an old fable book with a map to it's nest. of course he had no intention of following it, just enjoying the stories inside! but a thief snagged the book from him- and upon realizing what the book led too -took Jon with him as his sacrifice
when they reached the nest after a long journey, the thief presented Jon to the spider. but the spider did not take him, it took the thief- and the little Jon could only watch, frozen in terror, as his captor was eaten by the giant spider.
after it finished its meal, the spider told Jon that his fate was of a cosmic importance, "I'm quite excited to see how this plays out," it said.
naturally this was kinda traumatizing for the child that literally just wanted to read but ok :l
the whole experience brought jon a phobia of spiders, a distrust and fear of strangers, general paranoia, ptsd, and a rejection of the webs power and the concept of fate as a whole
now- its not uncommon for some people to reject the powers of certain gods? some things born from their power are quite unpleasant, so there are steps one may take to protect themselves from the powers of one or more of the gods. (its complicated to explain but i hope that makes sense-)
suffice to say jon does NOT want to be controlled or have his fate decided by anyone or anything like that! being THAT important is scary!!! so he tries very hard to prevent any powers of the web coming near him- and he also tries to keep a low profile so he can live a calm and peaceful life without. yknow. being an important part of the fate of the entire bloody world.
he turns to the cult of the Beholding for salvation. after all, its whole thing is being aware and knowing things, and jon wanted nothing more than to know what wanted to hurt him and what didn't.
moving to London, he joined the House of Magnus, and went from a devotee to a researcher.
he became friends with Tim: a man who turned to the beholding out of his own rejection for the Stranger, and Sasha: a young woman who'd worshipped the beholding and worked at the house of magnus her entire life.
things were great for a while, and then the head archivist, Gertrude Robinson, disappeared.
normally the previous archivist would choose someone to pass the position down to, but her disappearance meant that the current head of the church, Elias, would have to choose instead. and he gave the position to Jon
it was absurd! Jon didn't want the position of archivist- everyone knew about the prophecy and Jon certainly didn't want that much pressure on him!!
not to mention- it became pretty much expected that Sasha would become the next archivist! given her history of devotion, her skills, all the work she did for everyone, hell- Gertrude even mentored her for half her life for god's sake!
Elias's reasoning was that Gertrude had broken the Archivists oath: to always protect and preserve knowledge. he claimed that the Ceaseless Watcher itself had requested Jon rather than Sasha, as Gertrude's choices were not to be trusted. and it was not up for debate what their patron wanted...
so there was no choice. jon was terrified, sasha was devastated, and tim was furious for them both.
the ceremony went on, jon was given the Watchers Crown (the sacred headpiece of the archivist) and then he went down to the archives with tim and sasha as his chosen assistants.
Elias sent down another down with them- Martin, a librarian who devoted himself to both the eye and the web. Jon was not so keen to be trusting a devotee of the web, especially with all the stress going through his head at the moment- so he wasn't very warm to martin.
as the archivist- jon does his best to do the work he was given, frequently requesting help and teachings from sasha as she clearly knew more about this than him. all throughout, he squished any spider he found. and stubbornly refused to give in to any possible notion of him being the one from the prophecy. he couldnt be. he refused it.
but the will of one man is far outweighed by that of a god, and at some point he just might have to accept the responsibility he deep down knows is his...
AAAAAAAAAAA THAT WAS ALOT- if you read this entire fucking essay then just know i love you so so so much and i am hugging you tightly ;_;

Found out some time ago that one of my favourite f1 artist @cak3art had a DTIYS, so I had to do it! :D

ur art iz soso cute and pretty!! do you have any tipz for when working with watercolor(or paint in general)?
Sure!
Dont bother buying expensive materials if youre just starting, cheap or intermediate stuff is more than enough to start off and decide if you really like it and want to continue.
Plus some mro expensive materials are harder to use if you dont have practice. I would never recommend a natural hair brush for a begginer watercolorist
Those videos about essentials skills to have, or most common mistakes made CAN help, dont let them limit how you experiment with watercolors though, there are no rules. Those are usually tips given to make it easier to do a technic the most common way. You're free to try different paths
Aim for an in-between level of "too easy, i can do this" and "too hard thats not on my skill yet". You have to find a middle ground to do it because that's what help keep people interested. If you only paint the very easy watercolor tutorials you see, theres a chance you'll grow bored and tired of it as it has become "too easy". Doesnt have to be every time of course, but it helps alot to not grow bored.
It'll take a while to get used to watercolors, even if you know of many technics, practicing them and knowing how they will turn out by experience is another story. Don't feel bad if something didnt go the way you expected, you can always try the oppossite next time and see how that goes.
Copy Master's works, this doesnt have to be just dead masters, living ones too! Copying is a genuine good way of studying. As long as you dont claim them to be yours and give them proper credit, it's not plagiarism.
It doesn't hurt to ask though, specially if the artist you are going to be copying to learn is not a big name. In my experience though the artists i've asked if i could copy to study tehir work they had been flattered that i'd want to do that. Theres no need to ask for some big name tho just credit lol, like for example doing watercolor studies of studio ghibli's storyboards..... that's a good one btw! their storyboards are pretty and have GOOD colors but still are super simple! Usually just one layer of paint, minimal wet in wet shading or glazing.
Share Your Works, i know specially for begginers this one can be scary to do, but i promise you that the number of fellow begginers who will feel encouraged by you posting is a great number. And experienced artists who are GOOD people would never look down on a begginer. Rather than "man they cant draw lol" it'll be a sentiment of "i remember when my skills were a similar level! i hope this new artists has a fun time with art :D"
Sharing your works and getting feedback and building a small community with other artists or even some fans is a massive encouragement ! [it's not everything of course but it's nice to be appreciated]
Uh mind you, this step might take a long while. i've been posting art for nearly 10 years and it took me maybe 8 or so years of posting for something of mine to get more than 70 notes or so. [70 notes is already alot tho! wohhoo!

I'm relatively new to your content, and while I personally have no plans to make audios, I still would like to know your boundaries.
