I throw my cell phone on the bed laughing, I loved it when the comments turned into complete chaos.
The weather today was very good for sleeping, the problem is that, at the moment, I'm having an insomnia crisis. My insomnia attacks always intensify when I'm working on something important, but I always try to ignore them. And that's exactly why at 00:37 I'm scrolling through Instagram, even though I wake up in 5 hours and a few minutes.
My cell phone vibrates at my side, easily gaining my attention. Who could be sending messages at this time? Did something go wrong? I turn on the screen looking for information and then...

Ah... it was nothing important... Starting to reassure myself again, I go to the profile of the person who liked my photo, something I do whenever I have time. And wait, does Mo follow him? He looks a little familiar to me.
My interest in the profile becomes sudden, or maybe it's just sleep starting to speak louder. Browsing the account I find photos from the end of 2023 that make me understand the reason for the familiarity. He is Luke, like Luke Castellan in the Percy Jackson series, aka one of my biggest crushes in the series (if we don't count Clarisse).
There was just one problem... When we are in the sleep stage, we don't think very well what to do. Or sometimes we don't even think about it. And that's my excuse for liking a photo of him from months ago.
To make my situation worse the next day, I felt my eyes finally get heavy, sleep would consume me and I could finally have a night of peace. Or that's what I thought. I fell asleep a few minutes after that.

I woke up quickly with the alarm, also who wouldn't wake up when they have Momona and Xochitl screaming in their ear. Yes, they made a personalized audio for me to use with an alarm, that's why I love my girls.
I pick up my phone, seeing that its battery is empty, great, I forgot to put it on charge last night. I walk to the bathroom and continue with my standard routine.
On the way to the film set I was finally able to turn on my cell phone to check the news and the thousands of notifications from my friends didn't seem like a good thing...

You were only a few years older (at most) than your peers. Hell, a bit younger in some of the cases (cough cough Peter B cough cough), but everyone knew you.
You were the mom friend. The chaperone, the babysitter.
But you couldn't help it, your motherly nature was just so deep into your personality that the two could not be separated. It kind of was the reason why you didn't have many friends outside the Society, most people deemed you too "overbearing" or y'know. Motherly. You'd step in before any "fun" or crazy stuff happened.
You were there to console the others when something happened, when someone was upset, or hell, was just lonely. You were there for them when they needed that gentle hand, or a hug, or a nap in your lap.
Your balanced nature was often why Miguel would pair you with Hobie, or Ben Reilly, to bring them a bit of stability (and to stop Ben from lamenting about his backstory or talking about his muscles for five minutes).
On one mission in particular, Hobie had actually slipped up, and in front of Ben, Peter, and Pavitr and Gwen, he called you "Mum" over the comms. He quickly sputtered and tried to backpedal, but the grin that erupted on your face had already fixed itself there.
You pretended you didn't hear it however, that you weren't paying attention to your comm.
Ben and the others? Never. Let. Him live. It down.
They even gave Hobie things to give to you on Mother's Day for extra effect.
But today? Today, Hobie showed up in your universe, soaked to the bone, his wicks soggy and shoes filled with water.
"Got stuck in the rain, lost the key to my flat, and I don't feel like crashing at HQ because of the Old Man. Can I--"
You chuckled and stepped aside, "Come on, Hobie. You look like a drowned poodle."
"Oi, you havin' a dig at my wicks?" He frowned, walking past you and into your warm, cozy apartment.
"Yep!" You grin, walking over to your linen closet and grabbing some towels, handing them to him.
"Go into the bathroom and get dried off, I might have some clothes that'll fit you. Pajamas at any rate." You hum, walking into your room to rummage through your dressers for something that might fit his tall, lithe frame.
He mumbled a thanks and trudges into the bathroom, his shoes making a depressingly loud squishing noise with every step.
You giggle to yourself and pull out some red plaid pajama pants, and one of your oversized novelty t-shirts.
They should fit.
You knock on the bathroom door and Hobie pokes his head out. He takes the clothes from you when you hand them to him and quickly ducks back to change.
And when he comes out you practically squee.
"Awww! You look so cozy!" You snicker.
"Ohhhhh stuff it." Hobie mumbles, dropping onto your couch and crossing his arms, towel still draped over his head.
"Now Hobie..." You tsk, draping your fluffy, heated blanket over his shoulders, which he automatically snuggles into on sheer instinct alone.
"Is that any way to talk to your mum?"
"Oi! It was one time!" Hobie retorted, trying to cover the blush rising in his cheeks.
"Leave off it, will ya?!"
You grin and grab a tin of sweets, and grab his hand, placing them in his palm.
His eyes get big. His favorite candies; he found them once in your universe, got hooked, and apparently yours was the only one that had them.
You had a shit-eating grin on your face as he popped the candies in his mouth.
"Nahhhh. I'm not gonna. Not when you look like a little kid all snuggled up under that fluffy blanket."
"Hey! Who d'you think you are, eh?" He said, trying to sound miffed, but failing as the warmth from the blanket seeps into his cold body, relaxing into the soft cushions of your couch.
"Oh, me?" You hum, grabbing his wet clothes to be washed.
"I'm the Spider-Mom. Didn't you know that?"

You might not be a Spider-Woman, but finding out your girlfriend is one was the best feeling ever. While at first you were a little upset at the fact, because of some broken promises from her… you soon understood that being Spider-Woman wasn’t easy and she actually didn’t want to harm her loved ones at all, including you. You also grew to love and accept her more than ever.
The two of you were currently sitting on the ledge of a rooftop, secluded so that no one would notice the world’s Spider-Woman - unmasked, hanging out with another girl. Her hand was placed on top of yours for the entire time and Gwen never felt this content in her life. Just you and her, forgetting the burdens of her life sitting together on the rooftop.
“Hey.” Gwen whispered.
Lifting your head from her shoulder, you turned to look at her baby blue eyes filled with gentleness.
“Yes?”
She calmly let out a sigh. “Thank you for being here, and for accepting my identity no matter what. Every time I look at you, I always thought how did a girl like you end up with a girl like me? Like, I still can’t believe you still love me even after you found out I’m Spider-Woman and all that… you know? My dad might not like Spider-Woman but unlike anyone else, you’re so accepting of me. And this is what I love the most from you.” happy tears began welling up her eyes with the last sentence, and one of them even ran down her cheek.
Your hand reached up to cup her cheek, wiping off the stray tear as you look at her intently in the eyes.
“I’m so glad I have you, Gwen.”
“Me too.”
She leant her head into her palm, cherishing your tender touch. No words were spoken after this, but all that matters were the two girlfriends having a tender moment together in the rooftop.

i usually dont like the parksborn ship because in most adaptations i actually don't see peter and harry as that great of friends
in the raimi films, harry's too busy being a jackass like 90% of the time and being part of this dumbass love triangle
in spectacular, we're told that harry is peter's best friend but because we barely know him he just kinda comes off as kind of a jackass, and then he ACTUALLY becomes a jackass when he starts taking the globulin green and kinda stays like that for the whole show and when he's not being an overt asshole he's barely there or just gets one tiny moment where he talks to peter about mark's addiction
in tnas, yes they're actually great friends but i can't see that as anything but platonic, sorry, there's not exactly any gay tension there, they're just believable as good friends
in tasm, the peter and harry friendship happens so fast and goes downhill so fast that i can't find it as a believable friendship
in the ultimate cartoon, they're great friends there but it's the same thing with tnas, not to mention i can't imagine this version of peter being in ANY relationship with anyone, (aroace king?) and i dont like how this version of harry venom is done
in the 90s cartoon, im tellin ya, i watched the whole thing like a year or two ago, they barely talk i cant see shit there

summary: you woke up to the feeling of pain in your abdomen, the feeling of a warm rushing flow down there, and a lot of cranky feelings from your hormones beginning to get out of whack. luckily, your girlfriend's got you, she's here to make sure the only thing you'll feel as long as you're with her is nothing but pure comfort, despite being on 'the dot'.
word count: 750
last night was a complete and total blur to you after 10 PM, all you remember was falling asleep in gwen's arms and just... kinda blacking out. you do remember it was a wonderful night, but all you could focus on now was the splitting pain in your abdomen as you realized the period flood was coming. you rushed for gwen's bathroom and changed, hoping you didn't leave any stains on her bed. you came back, wobbling and a little sick due to how light-headed you'd get when your flow would be this strong, and fortunately enough, her sheets were still clean when you got up.
you sighed as you sat yourself down on a bean bag in her room, placing a big plushie you brought with you down on your abdomen to try alleviating the pain. it wasn't the most effective tactic, but it had to do for the time being. you tried to sleep again, but the sharp pain in your lower abdomen hurt like hell. trying to sleep through it wasn't an option, and luckily, not for long either; because as soon as the pain came in, gwen woke up. she greeted you a good morning as she yawned, with you muttering a good morning back to her.
gwen looked at you and noticed you looked a lot less... vibrant than last night, a little more sullen and tired, even from having just woken up earlier. "hey, you okay?" she asked you as she climbed out of bed and walked over to you. since it was gwen, you could tell her just what kind of hell you had to endure for the week. "it's shark infested waters right now." you told her as she nodded and headed for her drawers, fetching you her finest-quality pads and tampons for you to choose from. "for you, m'lady." she said as she handed them to you on bended knee.
you giggled at her gallantry as you graciously accepted the feminine products she handed to you. "why, thank you, lady stacy." you thanked her as she smiled up at you and got up. you tucked the products away in your almost empty emergency case and as gwen sat down next to you with a slight smile on her face. "y'need anything else? i have iron supplements if you need any, since, y'know... periods aren't exactly very good for your anemia." she offered to you, which you smiled back at and nodded. "thanks, but don't worry, i'm fine right now. i guess all i need right now is..." you were about to finish as your stomach let out a loud grumble, causing for gwen to nod and extend a hand out to you to help you up. "i've got you, don't worry. breakfast is on the way." she said as you took her hand and stood up.
you and gwen ended up making breakfast together, what with her dad having left earlier that day, you two made it all on your own. though breakfast was great, you still felt the stinging pain and heaviness around your lower abdominal region, and every time you cried out even a little bit in pain, gwen looked over at you with concern and asked you what it was you needed, she'd get it for you. she brought you a hot pack when you told her the cramping was worsening, and before you even told her you needed them, she gave you pain killers right away. "i promise, i'll take care of you as long as you're here with me." she said as she placed her hand over yours and smiled at you.
you smiled back at her as you felt her hand on yours. you leaned close towards her and pecked a kiss on her forehead. "thank you, gwinny..." you thanked her as gwen felt herself blush a ton from your kiss, her cheeks tinting with dark reds and undertones of pink as her smile widened and she giggled involuntarily out of being flustered by your kiss. "no problem, love." she said as she kissed your forehead this time. you felt incredibly lucky to have her with you then and there, to have her understand and know exactly what you may need or want right then and there and just be with you and not assume for you what you need--you felt more and more safe and comfortable with her, when she's like this, maybe shark week'll be way more bearable with her by your side.

Hobie can't find Diane. He hasn't seen her in days. And sure, he's not one to worry. But how could he not? He checks everywhere, and then as a final resort - he asks Miles.
"You've seen Di?"
Miles gives him a sympathetic look. "Hobie, I'm really sorry." He says, and for a second Hobie thinks something is wrong. But no, it's even worse than he can imagine.
"I...I got her into this anime and now... I don't know man."
Miles introduces Disco-Spider Diane to Anime

Now Hobie has NEVER been jealous in his life. He'd be damned before he lets himself get jealous.
But when your girl is laid up on the couch watching JJK for two weeks straight and you walk in on her staring at this on the screen???

When she starts watching BNHA, it's game over.
She's always talking about how cool Dabi is and how she wishes she had a hot morally questionable superpowered boytoy to squeeze.
Meanwhile Hobie is sitting besides her like 'I guess I'm just chopped liver, ain't I 😭. Might as well take this bloody guitar and end my misery, why don'tcha?'
She sees one photo of Mirko and goes 'Oh my god, Bie. She's literally just like me right? Babe, she's just like me? I remind you of her right? We like.. the same person 🥺'
And then THE COSPLAY BEGINS. Not that Hobie is complaining about Diane walking around in sexy cosplay outfits. It's just weird when he compliments her outfit, and she's like "Thanks! I got it from-"
And then proceeds to show him the most ridiculous anime character ever.
It starts leaking into real life.
They're in the middle of fights and whenever they win she stops to do a Jojo pose.
She wears Sailor Moon cosplay to Spider Society HQ and loudly proclaims "I'm a Sailor Scout. Not a Spider-person."
(Spider-Scout, the half Sailor-Scout, half Spider-person is not amused)
She says very loudly during a meeting "OMG isn't Miguel like, Levi from Attack on Titan but tall? Like he has to use the lazer webs to fly in the air the same way Levi needs the wires to kill Titans and-
And everyone is like GIRL WHAT and Gwen, the only other person who has ACTUALLY seen AOT is like "No?? Diane. What are you talking about??"
It all comes to a head finally when one day Hobie comes to eat lunch with Diane.
He's always fashionable late within reason, but he walks into the cafeteria to see Diane hunched over a notebook, writing away.
That's rare.
With her dyslexia, Diane hardly ever writes - typically Hobie reads books outloud, recording them on cassette tapes for Diane to listen to later. But here she was, scribbling away.
And even in her twisted tiny handwriting he could make out the words
'Gojo x Black!Reader: Eyes like Oceans'
Hobie has no idea what the word 'Smut' means, but she's written it all over the page with the words "MINORS DON'T READ!!!!"
When he asks what he's doing, she jumps out her skin.
Hobie fights back a smile. And maybe even a laugh. "You writing fanfiction?"

Finally, after weeks - Hobie caves.
He agrees to watch ONE anime with her and Miles, cause he wants his girl back wth 😭😭
Miles gets to choose - and he chooses one he thinks Hobie will like: Death Note.
Hobie doesn't just like it - HE LOVES IT.
Except....
"Oi, why's this L coming after Light? Mans is in the right."
"Uhhh?? No??? He's killing people with a magical notebook. L is in the right."
"And I kill people with a guitar, ain't no difference."
"Yes there is-"
"Oh but when Jogo kills people it's fine but when I-"
"FIRST OF ALL his name is Gojo and second of all Do NOT bring up my man. Hobie we will get to brawling right now, don't test me-"
Meanwhile Miles is like "WILL THE TWO OF YOU SHUT UP 😭😭😭😭 GODDAAAMMNN."

Now Everytime Hobie catches her watching anime Hobie will point at the screen at Diane's character crush and go "Bet I could beat his arse" - just to establish dominance.
Is he jealous? NO! Is Gojo his mortal enemy because he stole his girl without even being real? YES!!!
It's okay Hobie. Just cosplay as Sasuke Uchiha and you'll have her back right away. Maybe.

yes!! i dont have much but i do have a few sketches!! her design isnt final yet, ill have to see how i feel about it going forward... and find colors i like LMAO
her name is adeline, her mom signed her up for summer camp (genuinely simply just 'summer camp' camp) because ade was really struggling to find friends and make connections on her own, and her parents thought summer camp would help her learn those skills!! unfortunately lots of new people all at once is. very scary and the plan didnt work. BUT she did latch onto max almost immediately! now she hardly leaves his side and wont join activities unless he does as well. oh boy.
max' duties are a BIT all over the place! lots of busywork, lots of clean up, he 'volunteers' for kitchen duty frequently (he WILL serve these kids edible food or god help him), david wants him to plan his own camp activities real bad but max kinda. dodges this so far. he also often is available for the kids later at night since he sleeps real late. nets him the added bonus of getting to sleep til breakfast and not having to do the wake up round. does he sometimes use his night time privileges to sneak off and smoke at the lake? maybe.
oh! not really a responsibility, but! there are a few times him and gwen set aside for paperwork and all - max is trying to get emancipated from his parents at this point.

I see them meeting in the lobby of Parker Industries. And because I'm nothing but cliche he's coming on his day off for a client meeting and she's standing in the lobby shuffling through papers obviously lost. He's staring at his Apple Watch and the collide, him sending her towards the floor. He shoots arm out and catches her, staring at her wide eyes as he basically pulls her back to her feet, arm around her stomach as he held her.
"I am so so sorry. I was looking at a message."
"I am so so sorry I was looking at this map and I was.."
They spoke at the same time. Peter's face remained flat but there was a smile in his eyes. He thought she was..gorgeous, he shook his head and cleared his throat.
"You're fine don't worry about it. Can I help you." He pointed at the map of the building in her hands. She nodded looking up at him with big eyes, and handing him the map.
"My mother has a meeting with Mr. Parker over a biotech research for her collarbone damage due to cancer. It's a whole thing, and I'm super late."
"You're in luck because the CEO is also super late to this meeting." Peter chuckled. "Mr. Parker..nice to meet you."
"Oh my god." She says reaching her hand out shaking it. "I'm (y/n) (l/n) nice to meet you...also." she stuttered through her greeting. Peter nodded and handed her map back to her.
"I'll walk with you. Follow me."
I do think that the two have a slight age gap. Peter being around 30-33 and reader being about 25-27. Which makes him kind of skeptical for a bit because Peter's never dated someone younger than him outside of Gwen being a year younger than him and even if it's not by a lot and both are in similar places in life he worries that she'd find him to be old and boring. But she doesn't, she doesn't really pay any mind to the age gap besides teasingly calling him 'old man' here and there in their relationship.
At the start they definitely have a grumpy/sunshine dynamic even if Peter isn't that grumpy he's been out of the dating pool for a few years and he's just kind if skittish which makes him seem grumpy. He's the reason for these big nice parties but he only talks to the people he knows and clients he's built relationships with. She's the one running around greeting people asking if they're having a fun time and he just admires her so much for it. She inspires him and brings him out of his little dark room he's built for himself which helps everyone get to know him a little bit better and see that he's not only a kind person, but also really funny. He's also just so so so soft for her. Peter can be intimidating if needed and he knows how to play that well and when to play it. But whenever she's around he's so soft, it's like all the bad things in his life become muffled. She feels the same about him, she thinks he's the smartest man in the world. She knows he is, and doesn't hesitate to remind him when he is forgetting that himself. As their relationship progresses for Peter he feels like he got a second chance at love, and she feels like she's really fallen in love for the first time.
They start dating pretty quickly actually for Peter being so skittish, Harry gave him a jump in headfirst speech that urged him into asking her to be his girlfriend. And when he did it he felt like that nerdy high school boy again, but when she said yes he knew he made the right decision.
They go on the nicest vacations, he definitely wants to see the world with her. But he also loves just being in their Forest Hills home having domestic moments. He likes the way she'll come into his office while he's working and sit on his lap playing with his hair. His goal is just to spoil his girl, any thing she wants he'd give it to her no matter the cost. If she asked him tomorrow to give up everything and just disappear with her he'd do it, and she'd do it for him.
He also totally gives her a job at Parker Industries let's be real. All she wanted to do was be his assistant/receptionist, and when the spot opened he immediately offered it to her because no one better could keep up with him. And honestly..it's true.
I don't know there is a lot about them, she's gonna need a cute nickname though. I'll get back to y'all on that.
