AU1.0 concept ------- It has come to my attention that some people are taking this with a negative reception, so I will clarify here: I have never drawn Kirk in any of my personal studies or intentional works without his softer, frankly just normal physique. This sketch was actually unusual for me. These two green-shirt concept sketches were done to explore the latest of some of my concept apparel layouts for my AU1.0 project; nothing more nor less. In fact, I distinctly recall myself saying aloud:"what if I drew Kirk with abs this time lol" - And because I wanted to sketch out how the new redesign fit would behave when undone, I opted to try it and deviate from my traditional standard of how I actually draw Kirk just this ONE TIME merely to see what would happen. I never imagined that any of my concept sketches would impart a poor commentary in other parties. Please understand that I understand the importance of representation and the unfortunate utter weight that the question of "beauty" has for too much of the world populace for too long. No excuses - this drawing was merely a conceptual sketch done strictly for exploratory purpose and not remotely close in proximity to any sort of action for desecration - it is why I make due diligence to clearly state what artwork are CONCEPTS and what are NOT (hence the subtitle caption/tags of every work I post), on god. I take seriously and respect all shapes, formes, sizes, body types, and identities, period. Thank you.
