10 YEARS OF BILL CIPHER ZINE

Ten years ago, Gravity Falls released Dreamscaperers, marking the first ever appearance of our favorite satanic triangle, Bill Cipher! And what a lasting impact he had on Tumblr. From memes to thirst to his status as a Tumblr Sexyman and all the unique humanizations, it’s the 10th anniversary of Bill Cipher being unleashed upon our Earth.

To celebrate, let’s create a fanzine in his honor! Artists, writers and merch creators are invited to celebrate Bill Cipher as a creator! The application will be open for 2 months, meaning it will close on October 31, 2023. Happy creating, and I can’t wait to see your pieces!

In honor of the 10th anniversary of Gravity Falls we are proud to announce that the Gravity Falls 10 Years Later zine is now available for pre-orders! This zine features 25 artists and writers who are catching up with the Pines family.

This zine is a charity project, with our proceeds going towards Planned Parenthood. We believe that our charity represents a relevant need and falls in alignment with what Alex Hirsch stands for.

Pre-orders are open May 23, 2022 to June 30, 2022. Available for purchase are:

@gf10yearslaterzine Missed the first three days but, oh well!!!

Day 4: Location

Northwest Mansion!!! I abolsutely loved this episode, the visuals were so well animated and the house gives the right amount of mysterious and haunted.

I mean look at this god it’s gorgeous. And the ghost scene with the lumberjack and the taxidermy crying blood jam—yeah, I had a little moment of “holy crap this show is insane” right then.

Not to mention the character development of Pacifica was top-tier writing (even if I wished it had been expanded on a little more in the show).

Honestly, this is probably my favorite episode in the show. It was the one that elevated Gravity Falls for me from some kids show to an absolutely incredible mystery adventure. Some part of me will always wish we had more creepy episodes to look back on, but to be frank it would be pretty hard to top this.

Persistently Optimistic (Preview)

For as long as he could remember, Ford was convinced that nothing in this world could make him happier than the thrill of discovery. In a world where he was always seen as the abnormality, nothing put a bigger smile on his face than knowing he wasn’t alone, that there were far weirder creatures out there than a geeky polydactyl scientist who played too many tabletop games.

He thought for sure that he would never find an outlet as comforting as research, as documented proof that there was a place where all the weirdos out there could fit in. And for decades he was right, and was sure research and oddities were the only positive consistencies he would ever have in his life.

But then came along Dipper and Mabel, and everything that was missing in his life just fell right back into place.

I am so, so excited that I’m finally allowed to share a snippet from my piece for @gf10yearslaterzine!! it’s been a massive honor getting to work with such an amazing team of people and I can’t wait for you all to see the amazing work we’ve been working on for the past 6+ months!!

GF SEASONS ZINE INTEREST CHECK!

The GF Seasons Zine Interest Check is now officially live! The form will be open for two weeks (from the 23rd Feb to March 8th at 11:59 EST).

The zine will focus on the Pines family hanging out and enjoying the four seasons of the year together. Do you want to see who would win in a snowball fight between Stan and Ford? What the Pines family would get up to on a rainy spring day? Or perhaps you want to see the Mystery Twins jumping in piles of autumn leaves? Whatever you’re thinking, fill out the form and let us know!

This zine will be looking for moderators, artists, writers, and merch artists to come together and depict our favourite family having fun! The amount of contributors we accept and whether the zine is digital or physical will be determined after the interest check closes. More information can be found on our Carrd.
