Devastation

Early Season 5 Edward makes me really sad, but the look on Oswald's face when he hears that Ed was responsible for Haven makes me feel all the emotions.

For all the things that Ed has done, Oswald has been there to cheer him on. Other people would consider Ed a monster, but Oswald falls in love with that.

But the idea that Edward would murder innocent people, especially children and the absolute devastation on Oswald's face thinking that Edward could really be a monster. It's heartbreaking.

You can literally hear his heart breaking. Goodness.

Meant to Be

Gotham Season 5 Episode 8, "Nothing Shocking," is my favorite Nygmobblepot domestic bliss episode. With Ed and his worried "You were due hours ago" and Oswald getting lunch for them...they're just so happy together.

But what I absolutely love about this episode is when Oswald admits that he wasn't a good friend to Ed and the look on Ed's face. I love that vulnerability and honesty. This also goes with Ed admitting that their friendship is great.

Oswald and the Cold Logician. They really are meant for each other.
