something about the way Kitty can't help but end up trusting and loving others despite all the ways she has been hurt, and her own insistence that she does not trust others. The way that she so naturally falls into trusting Puss when he shows a modicum of honesty and genuine emotion to her.
I think Kitty is someone who has a lot of love in her heart, a fact she hates about herself because it leads to her getting burned quite often. She feels like she cannot ever truly practice what she preaches and just stay away from caring. Even, towards the end, she gives up her wish to Puss, not because she thinks he deserves it more, but because at that point, even wishing for someone to trust feels like a failure on the part of herself to just learn her damn lesson and stay away.
Which is why it is so important that she finally gets what she needs through Puss. That she witnesses him fighting for his life instead of running, fighting for his right to love her for the short time on this earth that he has left. She needed to hear this from somebody, that she is worth caring about. More than just a cute pet that looses its luster when it starts scratching the furniture, more than just a fleeting fancy abandoned the moment something goes wrong. She finally has someone tell her she is worth recieving the love and trust she so easily gives, in equal measure.

I don't know the last time Scrooge saw Goldie at the time of her debut episode in the 'White Agony Plains' episode, but do you think she knew he gave up adventuring for a decade?? You'd think that would have been the first thing she brought up the minute she laid eyes on him again, so I'm guessing they didn't see each other all those years he was a recluse, but you'd think she would have at least heard about something that huge the rest of the world surely knew; it's Scrooge McDuck, after all.
Knowing how much she greatly respects him and cares about him in her own way, and loves how they challenge each other, I think she would be deeply disappointed and ashamed if she knew what he'd become. Because she thrived on their rivalry and crazy relationship more than all the treasures she swindled, so she would NOT have been glad he was out of the picture. You can bet if she knew he gave up adventuring, even for his deeply personal reasons, she would give him some VERY tough love and try to snap him the fuck out of it.
But I'm also curious how she would have felt if she knew what he lost.
I'd also love to know if she and Della ever interacted and what that would be like.

Norman's Reason of Murder, Analysis
(Inclued Ray and Emma too but mainly Norman)
Norman decides he must kill the demons because it's the only way his family can survive when there's truly no Neverland to escape to. Those who insult hard on Norman for murder overlook this: Norman was dying, and before he died, he wanted to leave a world to live in for the people he valued most in life and for whom he had worked for years. He thought he had no other choice, he would bear the price of this murder, he should bear this burden. All of these come from the responsibility and sense of justice he has felt since childhood. Just like Ray decides he can take the burden of killing people when Minerva's first shelter is found. "I am ready to carry this burden."
Tumblr media
Because Ray has been carrying the burden of the truth for years. Emma was also ready to take on the burden of every child she encountered and the responsibility of her life. Even if Emma's failure meant the children would die, Emma did not consider failing. The burden Norman is trying to carry is the same as Emma and Ray, but unlike the two of them, Norman sees himself as deformed after Lambda. He thinks that no matter what he does, they will not accept him as his old, true self, but Ray was thinking almost the same. (Did i mention i love norray). Ray believed that he had no place with his family and that he had to die at the end of the 6-year plan because Ray think their family doesn't show him understood because Ray watched their siblings die for years and they might thought Ray's humanity was destroyed. But there wasn't a rule for humanity in that world. Ray had Emma by his side to shake him, but Norman didn't have Emma at first. I want to hug Emma, she needs to shake me too. Emma, on the other hand, could push herself up, her psychological endurance at a level I could never have imagined.
Tumblr media
Back at Norman, he was deathly afraid of ever hoping again, believing that his plans and dreams were destroyed forever so he afraid to trust Emma and Ray about Mujika, afraid to believe there was another world. He think, he dissapointed hard after this and all of his family die. Norman wasn't bad, Isabella wasn't bad, they never were. Because when all the information you have about the outside world is likely to be fake, when you have spent years surrounded by lies and the truth is hitting you like a slap in the face, you cannot learn to do something that society deems evil because you aren't learn "act evil for gain" If one sheep bites another while running through the meadows, will we call it bad? It's not the same as a murder in the world we live.
Tumblr media
In this panel Norman says : I hope in your next life, you enjoy life like a human.
They never carried like humans.
Norman get away too, too much suffering and try to create a world humans can live. Norman is right
Also
Tumblr media
They feel peace in this panel because they were accepted, they were each other and they feel incalculable trust for each other

Analysis of MY multiverse AU
Idk what do call it...I wanna call it smth different than Salt's but I need to brainstorm. Anyways here's how all the characters are feeling in this AU. Because. Uhm. COol. YIPPEE! TSBS Golden definitely sees AGA Freddy as his child, no question. He would also very much so like AGA Goldie to become his child as well. Because we all know that TSBS Golden adopts every feral mentally ill child he sees...as we know from SaMS. TSBS Phantom does not give a singular flying SHIT about Freddy. He sometimes forgets Freddy's existence. His drama is with Goldie and Golden. (haha, let the confusion begin) Of course, we have the classic drama with Golden thats already cannon to TSBS. But we also have Phantom trying to adopt Goldie...which Golden does NOT like. Phantom most definitely has very bad intentions with Goldie. For one, Goldie has powers, which Phantom can use and exploit. Goldie is also reasonable gullible in Phantom's mind and very much lonely. Here's the kicker: Phantom's story is, in a way, a little similar to Goldie's, so he can twist it make it look like to Goldie that they are "the same." He mostly wants to use Goldie...though there is complicated stuff deep inside. AGA Goldie is mostly confused. Once he gets over this universe-crossover shit, he slowly realizes that Golden and Phantom are battling over him. On one hand Golden is very nice and seems to give good advice, but on the other hand him and Phantom share many similarities with each other. So on top of all his fights with his own brother, he now has these two multiverse twins fighting over who gets to "adopt" him, and he has to choose. And if he makes the wrong choice, he will most certainly come out destroyed. AGA Freddy isn't that involved in this AU. most of his plot is just stuff from the original AGA comic, since Phantom isn't bothering him. However, he does have TSBS Golden there for him, so that's that. He is very confused when an alternate version of his little brother is trying to be his father, but eventually, after hearing some things that Golden had to say, he just kinda let it happen. Of course when he asked Golden why and Golden replied with "oh I see you as my son because that's what you are in my universe," he had a huge "WHAT THE FUCK?!" moment. sobs this is longer than I intended. Is there actual plot here? I dont know maybe. I see it as comedy.

puss in boots spoilers/ramble abt santa columba and why i think kitty not showing up made sense to me
so this is sorta a response to this one person i think i saw on twitter that didnt rlly like the fact kitty also didn't show up to the wedding ( which is fine for them to think that im not bashing em and i understand why they thought that ) and after sitting on it for a bit heres a small explanation on why i think she didnt show up outside of what canon has told us ( also disclaimer i have not watched the first movie ( i probably should and will eventually ) )
i think kitty also had cold feet but for a different reason: her trust issues.
a huge thing with Kitty is that she has trust issues even before santa columba ( mainly stemming from her declawing and i'm gonna assume humpty probably messed with her trust too ) so i think on the day of the wedding the canon explanation combined with her trust issues she ended up not attending

Can we just talk about how good this scene in The Spear of Selene! is?
Tumblr media
To start, we’ve just got the gradual buildup of Dewey and Webby adventuring around Ithaquack, just to find some sort of answer about Della. It all culminates in this line:
Webby: We’re so close to the truth! Why won’t you let us find it?!
Dewey: Because…what if my mom was a bad person?
Tumblr media
And even though she really wants to figure this one out, Webby respects Dewey’s wishes, and decides to drop it for now. But then Dewey has a change of heart, deciding that if they’ve gotten this far, they should see it through to the end.
Tumblr media
At which point, an ominous figure jumps out from behind them…
Tumblr media
…who turns out to be the Goddess of the Moon herself, Selene!
Tumblr media
One thing I will make note of is the fact that Frank and Matt were originally intending Selene to be more serious and regal, but they ultimately reworked her characterization to better fit Nia Vardalos’ voice, which is how we ultimately got the wise, yet laid-back and playful Selene we all know.
Anyway, Selene explains that the whole gauntlet Dewey and Webby just went through was intended for Della, because she knew Della would find it fun.
On the topic of whether Selene would have actually known that Della got stuck on the moon, her moon, I would like to think that yes, she did know. I mean, besides the previous point, she and Della are super close; it just doesn’t seem right to have her not know what happened to Della. As for why she couldn’t do anything about it, well, need I remind you who her father is? But I digress.
So Selene, despite being this all-powerful goddess, doesn’t know what Dewey’s talking about by a “Spear of Selene”, but eventually realizes that he’s “Della’s kid” when Dewey brings up “his mom” taking it.
Even though Dewey’s dismayed that he’s now back to square one, Selene assures him that Della was a good person. The greatest, even. And she made everyone around her better.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She even gives it to Dewey for him to keep.
Tumblr media
And she assures Dewey not to give up his search, because Della wouldn’t have, either.
And then we get this sweet bit…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, I just love how gentle Selene is with Dewey in this scene. I mean, the boy’s never met his mother, has been looking ceaselessly for answers about her for months, and even though Selene doesn’t have all of them, she tells Dewey what he needs to hear, and even gives him a much-needed hug. She’s not Della, but she gives Dewey that maternal guidance that he really needs right about now.
Random headcanon: Just like Louie with Goldie, Dewey calls Selene “Aunt Selene”. Well, I can see all the boys doing that at some point, but Dewey would probably be the first one.
(Minor credits to TV Tropes for this analysis)

after reading your goldie fic I think it’s alright for me to assume that you’re a Mabel liker. And that’s great because I am too!! But, I’m sure you know about the Mabel haters in the fandom and they use reasons such as “she’s selfish” and “doesn’t feel any remorse for causing Weirdmageddon” to justify their hatred for her even more. I just wanna hear your thoughts about these claims and what you think about Mabel haters in general? (also hi hope you’re doing well :))
I think Mabel haters are ridiculous lmao
I've got nothing to say that hasn't already been said by hundreds of other people who think the Mabel hate is ridiculous, but she's no more selfish than any of the other main characters (and also significantly less), pretty much any time during the show that she IS being selfish (Boyz Crazy, Sock Opera) she realizes she's out of line and corrects herself, and honestly I suspect too many people took Bill's deliberately manipulative analysis of her in Sock Opera as the truth instead of asking sensible questions like "wait, why is Dipper keeping the job that lets him hang out with Wendy slightly more than all the time he already spends hanging out with her more important than helping a lost merboy reconnect with his family? Why is that a 'Mabel is selfish' point rather than a 'Mabel guided Dipper into doing the morally right thing' point?"
The only time we fully focused on Mabel long enough to find out whether she regretted being tricked by someone disguised as a friend into starting Weirdmageddon was Escape From Reality... at which point she hadn't been told Weirdmageddon was happening. Once she found out, she kind of spent the rest of the series stopping it?
We have whole episodes dedicated to her inserting herself into other people's lives to try to solve their (personal or romantic) problems, because she can't stand seeing anyone feel bad. We have a whole episode where she has a breakdown about potentially not being a good (enough) person. We have multiple episodes that end with her saying "I'm sorry" to Dipper (and Pacifica, and Candy, and Grenda...) after she recognizes her mistake—which is more than most characters do after realizing their mistakes. Selfishness is not her predominant character trait.
She's got flaws, sure, and anyone is welcome to dislike a character for any reason. I enjoy the fact that she's sometimes kinda obnoxious in a "loud child" way, that she hasn't learned yet when well-intentioned meddling makes things worse, that she's comfortable enough with teasing her brother that sometimes she doesn't realize when her teasing goes too far, that she's afraid of the future because she sees better things for herself in the present that she's scared of losing. Other people might not enjoy those flaws. That's okay.
But when the two biggest criticisms of her are [trait the villain misrepresented to manipulate her brother] and [action the villain misrepresented to manipulate her into doing], people are missing the point.

Reactions to Tsunami Stopper's Chapter 189
TL;DR - HD got excited and about to reach enlightenment when he saw CH's fight against Blood Demon. Raon couldn't solve the array formation, so they called Eru for help. Eru taught Raon a way to seal it, but Cale still had to stop the tsunami alone.
Excited Heavenly Demon A third of this chapter was all about HD and his thoughts about the battle against Blood Demon. There was also his analysis about Cale's DA and CH's new aura. And he came to the conclusion that reaching the Nature Realm was not the answer to becoming stronger. Rather, he would do it the way CH did.
It was interesting that he made CH his new goal to aspire to because CH was more similar to him than Cale. And all these thoughts of becoming stronger got HD so excited that if it were not for the current urgent situation, he would have gone to a quiet place and practiced his swordsmanship. I think it was also hinted that he was about to gain enlightenment. Seriously, Cale. How many murim people gained enlightenment because of you? 🤣🤣🤣
Panicking Cale Today, we got the rare scene of Cale panicking. Returning the core to the array formation did not work. Raon couldn't figure out the altered array formation. Fortunately, they managed to contact Alberu and Eruhaben to ask for help.
But Cale was still in panic mode at that time. He ignored Alberu's greeting and proceeded to demand a solution from Eruhaben. His way of addressing Eruhaben went from polite to informal, and he was even shouting in his panic. Goldie-gramps was bewildered to see this side of Cale that he stuttered in his answers. 😂
Cale's panic was justified. He knew that dealing with both the seal and the tsunami was extremely hard. Oh yeah, forgot the explanation about the tsunami. The altered array formation summoned a tsunami that was threatening to sweep away the entire island and even reach the mainland. So Cale now had to stop that tsunami. He's now a tsunami stopper and not a tsunami creator. 😉
Back to Cale's panic, he knew that dealing with the seal and the tsunami would not just end up with him coughing blood or fainting. Rather, he might even kick the bucket! And he couldn't pass it on to Raon because he did not want the young dragon to cough blood either!
Eruhaben's solution was to seal the array formation. Turns out that the altered array formation contained the power of a dragon plus the power of a world tree. Sealing was Raon's role because he was a dragon.
But poor Jungwon... In order for the sealing to succeed, they needed a suitable "sacrifice" that could handle the powers of a dragon and the world tree. And Jungwon's statue was perfect for it. Cale even patted Raon for coming up with that. So poor Jungwon... 🤣🤣🤣
The ending of the chapter was quite hilarious. It roughly went like this:
Eruhaben: Sealing is easy for Raon, but it will take some time. Cale: The plan is simple. I stop the tsunami as much as possible while Raon handle the sealing. CH & CJS upon realizing that Cale was going to buy time for Raon and stopping the tsunami alone: ... Cale: It's not like have a choice, okay? Water AP: Cale, let's do it. You can do it! It's really simple! Cale: ...Damn it!
Ending Remarks Next chapter will be about Cale stopping the incoming tsunami. The question now is, what will happen to Cale afterwards? Will he cough blood? Will he faint? Or will it be all of the above? 🤣 I guess we'll have something to look forward to on Monday. 🥰

so sorry for not talking much at all about goldi and the bears (I love them also I just didn't have too many observations people hadn't already made!) but this is one I haven't seen anyone mention so hopefully I'm pointing out something interesting?
The story that Goldi opens to in the book of fairy tales isn't just a random traditional fairytale. It's a wholly unique block of text to the movie. It's the tail end of a story in which a "proper family" is described having a snowball fight. I believe this text gives us a lot of insight into Goldi's character motivation.
Tumblr media
The text is a bit hard to read so here is a transcript (its a bit long so the rest of this post is under a readmore, there is more analysis here too)
Year round, the old park was the most popular place for this proper family to walk on through and take in the beautiful sights on their return home. It was also quite understandably the most proper place for a young girl to make the perfect snow angel, build a quick snowman, or throw a few snowballs from behind the dense leaves of frosted maple trees. The father was no stranger to snowball fights. He relished every opportunity, in fact, to remind his family of his many past victories. Every snowball that he made was shaped with great care and purpose. However, all his best efforts would be for not. For the little girl, tired of battles lost, was determined to claim her first victory on this winter afternoon. It was the naive youth against the experienced adult. The mother laughed as the little girl struck her father square in the bum with her fastest snowball yet. A flurry of powdered attacks followed, overwhelming the veteran snowball soldier. Laying still on the very snow he once dominated, the father now knew his reign was over. It was an exciting moment. The little girl began to celebrate. Hoisted up onto her father's ice covered shoulders, the little girl looked at her mother and shared a smile. At that moment, they knew everything was just right… … and they lived happily ever after.
Knowing this little detail adds a lot of depth to our understanding, here. She wasn't just projecting onto a random fairytale family she read about in a story, wishing to be some little girl whose life she saw as perfect due to having "normal" biological parents. She was being told by this story from a young and impressionable age that families look a certain way, and as a result, she came away with the understanding that a family could be wrong too. And considering her catchphrase and arguably, some of her behavior could be attributed to her trying to emulate this story, it seems like she has always been trying to make her life fit into this mold that was never quite working out.
And that's where I think the animosity between Baby and Goldi comes in.
It's easy to see, watching the film, where Baby might have gotten his dislike of Goldi from. From the moment she first appeared she stole his bed and his food, and in reaction his parents adopted her and treated her like she did no wrong. Papa also seems keen on joining in insulting Baby often in this movie, while there's rarely a bad word said towards Goldi. That apparent favoritism is a perfect recipe for sibling rivalry. But lets be real, Goldi's attitude towards Baby is incredibly demeaning, even for a sibling rivalry. Not to say that Baby doesn't dish out his own deep-cutting insults, and it seems like the family overall has a kind of playful-ribbing type of relationship. But Goldi most consistently tells Baby that he is only useful, only cared for, when his primary skill - his sense of smell - is being used in her service. Like he's less so her brother than he is her underling.
But this book gives us a more solid reason as to why Goldi is so cruel to Baby, and that is that the "proper family".... does not have a brother. It is not only the bears being bears, but Baby's mere presence which disrupts the idealized image of a single-child family that Goldi has been desperately trying to fit her life to. So she becomes bitter towards him, pushing him down at every chance, attempts to micromanage him the most out of everyone.
That's why its so important that she specifically saves Baby instead of making her wish in the end. Its not only her abandoning the idea of a proper family, its her finally giving Baby a space in her heart which she denied him for a long time.

Floyd's Nickname Analysis
Tumblr media
We all know that they can be correlated to how they look or act, but what if they were also actions or personality traits that each person has?
Riddle- "goldfish" or "kingyo"
He's red (Trigger for Floyd). He feels bad that Riddle is trapped in a "fishbowl" and hopes for him to explore the ocean. Can get violent, unlike what he seems (goldfish eat other fish; they can be at the top of the food chain depending on what fish you consider)
Ace- "crab" or "kani"
He's spiky and red (hair and personality-wise). Eels eat them; they are great prey for them (like in the 3rd arc, with the contracts)
Deuce- "mackerel" or "saba"
Mackerels are called "blue-backed fish", which spoil easily (In Japanese it can be translated to "Fast legs". Mixed with his track/field club). In France, I think, April Fools can be called April Fish day. Mackerels can be caught a lot in April. He is kind of... Stupid (Fool)
Cater- "snapper" or "hanadai" (This is from the wiki, which is correct, but I'll explain why I can't translate this correctly)
I can't translate his name because there isn't an actual fish; there are tons of fish that are called hanadai (just to name a few; akaobihanadai, sujihanadai, nagahanadai), kind of like a sub-family (different personalities). He is the only one so far who has a more vague nickname.The ones I think about have a tall nose, which reminds me of Pinocchio, whose nose gets taller the more they lie. They are pretty though.
Some of them are called “sea goldies” (a clue about how he could have been ex-dorm leader)
They eat shrimp... Maybe one day he'll hurt us
Trey- "sea turtle" or "umi kame"
They're smart, and they can also go on land (Secret?). He's the father of Hearts, and turtles and Disney remind me of a certain sea turtle in the Nemo series. And I think turtles are smart (glasses maybe?)
Leona- "Todo" or "Sea Lion"
As it's called, he is a lion. Sea lions can go on land... I wonder if he knows something outside of the ocean (Twisted Wonderland)..? Reminds me of Grim in a way.
Ruggie- "sharksucker" or "kobanzame"
He's always with Leona, like them with sharks. They eat scraps, and look out for a chance to strike, like for food.
Jack- "sea urchin" or "uni"
He's spikey with his hair. He's different than he appears; Sea urchins look inedible, but they are rich and creamy. I mean rich as with knowledge and mild as in personality in his case. And he is from the north, where I think good sea urchins are harvested. I wonder if the orange has anything to do with his dorm color. I can't say this for sure, but rich as in money.
Jamil- "sea snake" or "umihebi"
He's a snake. And like one, he is pretty, but with poison. I wonder if Floyd knows about the snakes' hint in the mirror. Anyways, I think Floyd thinks Jamil is similar to Jade (Sea snakes can be mistaken for eels sometimes)
Kalim- "Sea Otter" or "Rakko"
I wonder if his hair was brown, and not white... They are gourmets and can't eat without their favorite rock (Jamil). And he is hunted down because he is rich... (Sea otters were hunted down for their pellets). The turban reminds me of the seaweed they wrap around.
Epel- "guppy"
Not good with bettas, and loose to them. They are sensitive with temperature; Epel get heated up sometimes and is usually cool (faking his personality)
Vil: "Betta"
They get tired after flaring too much (overblot; with the issue with Neige). Really pretty, and aggressive. Not good with mirrors because of this (Mira with Vil)
Rook: "black-tailed gull" or "umineko"
He's in the sky, compared to the ocean. They can get wild and fast when they want. He's also a hunter (they hunt fish). He also has cat eyes. (they are literally called sea cats in japanese)
Idia- "firefly squid" or "hotaruika"
They glow like his hair. That's all I can say as for now
Ortho- "sea angel" or "clione"
He is an angle, but they can change rapidly with their looks to be quite... terrifying.
Malleus- "Nudibranch" or "Umiushi"
He's kind of cute with his personality, actually, he's more fluffy than cute though. They have something that looks like 2 horns.
Lilia- "flapjack octopus" or "mendako"
Like Azul, he is strong, unlike his looks. His hair reminds me of a flapjack octopus.
Silver:"jellyfish" or "kurage"
They're usually kind of white. They can hurt a lot when they attack. Unlike the people in his dorm, he is human so his life expectancy is short compared to them.
Sebek- "crocodile" or "wani"
Probably a reference to Sobek, the Egyptian god. He does remind us of a crocodile/alligator; he eats a lot, his phase in battle, etc.
The ones he adds -kun to (Cater, Jamil, Rook, Sam, and Trey) are a bit... troublesome in some way. I think Floyd sees Twisted Wonderland as the Ocean if you couldn't tell, so if they can go on land, they either know something or correlated in some way to MC/the lands beyond it.
~~~~
I was told to bring this post back by someone... But this is how I think
But Floyd is a lot more observant than most ppl think, and I will post something about that soon
So, we all know that I’ve been experimenting with getting rid of Mattel’s nasty head glue for years, now, and have settled on L.A.’s Totally Awesome in the US as my go-to product (CIF brand cleansers seem to work, too).
Here’s a link to a post with an overview and some other links:  https://www.tumblr.com/imreadydollparts/708236837686214656/mattel-head-glue
I don’t have the patience to dig up all of the reference links but over time a chemist on a Russian forum did some chemical analysis on the glue, discovered it’s either 1 part of a 2-part epoxy, or was mis-mixed so that it could never set, and suggested Xylene as a cleanser to remove it.
Xylene isn’t a very friendly chemical (though a paint thinner that is xylene based is often recommended for deflocking MLP without messing up their paint) and an art conservationist decided to try a friendlier surfactant called Triton X 114 which works on similar things as Xylene.
Triton X 114, when just a few drops are worked into gluey doll hair like shampoo (you must rub, friction is key, and add a little water) obliterated the glue. Glue gone. No glue left other than a little tackiness at the roots, which makes sense because the hair is so dense, there.
It can be purchased here:  https://museumservicescorporation.com/products/triton-x-114-1-pint
You want gloves.
Now, I don’t have a lot of glue headed dolls left. I sold them all because I didn’t feel like dealing with it, but I did get a little tube of Triton to test out because Totally Awesome treats glue head AND can deflock a My Little Pony without damaging her paint, and in the same vein of thought as Xylene to Triton, I hoped that Triton would work on G1 flocking glue, too! Having a single chemical that could strip flocking glue without hurting the factory paint would be really nice! T.A. does a decent job of it but I do often have to get out some acetone for thicker globs of glue.
I also dug up an old Venus McFlytrap head that had never been treated and a Goldie Locks head which I had used in a T.A. experiment some time back which was still gluey.
Well....... I have hard water, and we discovered that Triton doesn’t work nearly as effectively in hard water.
This is the same problem I have with products like Goo Gone. Goo Gone can dissolve the head glue, but I can NOT wash the Goo Gone out no matter how long I scrub with how much soap, because I have hard water.
After washing both Venus and Blondie were still rather sticky.
I did manege to grab a jug of distilled water, though, and it made a huge difference. Even with gloves on I could feel the surface texture of their hair change as the glue was washed away.
Very nice.
I did deliberately rub off Venus’s flocking (don’t worry it was already damaged) so I could clearly see how the glue was affected by Triton X. It was not.
Regardless of what purity of water I used, Triton does not do anything to MLP flocking glue and cannot be used to deflock a pony. Boiling hot water knocks the flocking off well enough and also gave me a good view of Triton’s effect on the glue. No effect, just like Venus.
Tumblr media
I used a little acetone here so you can see that the yellowing is the glue which didn’t come off.
Tumblr media
So.
Is Triton X 114 better at removing Mattel head glue than L.A.’s Totally Awesome?
The end results are about the same. You get clean hair that might be sticky still in denser areas.
-
Washing the hair with Triton doesn’t affect the glue remaining inside the head unless you get some inside the head and let it sit for a while. It’s kind of a pain to get out, again. You will have so many bubbles.
Again, the end result is the same as with a long soak with Totally Awesome. The glue that remains will have formed a crust on the outside of any chunks, and loose globs will come out or be easier to manually remove because the outer layer is no longer sticky.
-
Triton is faster at removing glue from the hair by a long shot. You might have to shampoo and rinse two or three times, but that’s still much faster than soaking for days to weeks in T.A.
-
You need a lot less Triton to treat a doll head than T.A. since you’re using a drop or two per head instead of having to fill a cup with cleanser and then change it now and then.
-
Triton is less effective in hard water which might mean needing more washes and taking longer/more water to rinse, whereas T.A. doesn’t lose any efficacy in hard water and is very easy to rinse.
Distilled water greatly improves Triton’s efficacy and ease of rinsing.
-
T.A. will strip off flocking glue and Triton won’t. If you’re trying to clean up a doll head with flocking do NOT touch the flocking while the head is wet or it will come off regardless.
-
T.A. will dissolve rubber bands (been so happy that works...) and plastic hair ties and Triton doesn’t.
-
T.A. is kind of stinky and Triton is scent-free.
Tumblr media
So, honestly, neither is better at getting head glue out of Mattel doll heads, but both work.
If you enjoy the process of washing doll hair, don’t have the patience to wait, or maybe you can’t leave cups of concentrated cleanser laying around because you have kids/pets, you might want to go with Triton.
If you want a more hands-off, passive experience with removing head glue or don’t have time to stand around washing doll hair, Totally Awesome might be the best option for you.
Personally, I think both are pretty great and I’m just happy that there is something out there that works.
I am disappointed that it didn’t work for flocking, though. It would be very nice to be able to rub a nice soap into flocking and have that glue all just go away without taking the paint with it, wouldn’t it?
🔥 Louie Duck's character arch?
Send Me a 🔥+ a Topic, and I’ll Tell You My Honest Opinion About It
Tumblr media
It coulda been so much better. It was shaky at best a lot of the time.
We've all heard me yell about the grounding. How it was badly enforced, how the circumstances were fucky, etc. You can look back on the ducktales analysis tag and hear me caterwaul, so I'll avoid that part of the topic.
The point of Louie's arc is that he's supposed to learn that family is more important than money. But Louie?? Fucking knew that??? One of his core, key season 1 lines is "You kept a secret about mom. That is not okay." He sobs when his brothers fight. He got Gavin out of his house for free, and did it in a way that kept Huey and Dewey happy. Louie cares about his family. He's never once put money before his family. He usually puts them side by side, before giving up the gold to get away.
They give no reason for Louie's greediness and that makes it feel more difficult to work around. Is it a casual, playful want bc he likes toys? Is it a deep, consuming need because he grew up in a household that didn't always have the lights on and food was hotdogs thrice a week? It's never stated. We can't be sure of how deep the problem lies and where the boundaries should start. He's just supposed to know it's Bad and Give it Up and Move On. Louie's ten. Ten year olds don't want monetary safety for no reason. The kid needs therapy, and comfort, and to be weaned off that stuff. Going cold turkey is a great way to give him anxiety.
And move on to what, exactly? No one tries to give him any outlets to work on. He doesn't like adventures like the rest of his family. Dewey gets Launchpad and flying and Huey gets Boyd and helping Gizmoduck. Louie gets Goldie and Louie Inc, which is then closed. He gets Goldie, but Goldie is transient and isn't around often. His only friend is literally an old lady who steals from him. His only time working is Louie Inc, which is taken from him.
The closest thing to working outside a con he's allowed is when he calls Della out. So... what? His job is to keep his family honest? Why not give him a job, a place to start, a goal to work for? Instead it's No, Bad Louie, you should know better somehow. He has no options, he has no friends, and he has no outlet for his need for financial gain.
It’s a hidden ‘letter’
It’s hidden in a CD that is presumably only fans who truly support him would buy
It’s hidden in a song with choreography that shows a woman as his mirror reflection
It’s a CD about his inner self
It’s the only warm and comforting song in the CD. And it has voice of JK and sound of waves in the background.
Goldy, am I delulu to think it’s a letter and a song for me… for Army…?
Yes. You are delulu
Tumblr media
THAT SONG FOR ME. ME. ME. ME!!!
The special part for me is him doing it with Jungkook. Won't lie that still has me in my feels and I keep listening to it over and over and will probably do so for the rest of my life. It's my new favorite go to jikook souvenir next to Jk's mom saying she loves Jimin and Jungkook's GCFs.
And please don't Army me in the face else you and I gon have severe problems. A middle passage experience if you keep at it
Tumblr media
Majority of your so called Army hate to see Jikook and I'm not even convinced they like Jimin💀
They die a little bit inside when they see jikook jikooking. Claim they are friends yet also hate to celebrate them. The math is not mathing.
I find it ironical that you think a man who says he loves those who love him will turn around and make such a beautiful song for "ARMY" child not Army💀
I think the song is for anyone who genuinely loves Jimin first and foremost, adores Jungkook enough to understand why Jimin chose him for this song, and finally stans Bangtan. If that's you or "army" then that's awesome 👌🏾 👏🏾
However I think he made the song to honor himself, his relationship with Jungkook and the journey he's shared with his seven members.
"The song is number 7 on the album, starts at 6:13." that's and obvious reference to BTS the band as well as any crazy delulu Stan who believes in the timestamp theories with their full chest- HA!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
Thought I was gonna let that slide? Naaa, Army just as delulu as us if they believe that timestamp shit. Can't have it two ways. The timestamp theories are all real or this song is just a random love song on a CD. And is it even hidden if yall can see it play it?? Army delulu as fuck. Touch grass.
Tumblr media
They made fun of us and called us crazy when we said this timestamp represents Jimin or that number is a code Jk uses for Jimin NOW LOOK
Look at our ship captain USING LANGUAGE ONLY US CAN UNDERSTAND LOOK!
WHO'S DELULU NOW?!
IF I CATCH ANY NON JOKER ARMY CLAIMING the timestamp theory I will shave them bald
All those who said Free me MV was a nod to BTS can take a hike now. IT WASN'T. You got your letters now leave Free me alone 🥷🏾
I will post an analysis but I'm giving myself time to be a fan and take it all in like a normal person without feeling a need to tear and dissect it apart like it's my job and I have to meet a deadline or hop on a trend. I don't blog for a living. I blog because I love the things I talk about. And nobody is about to give me pressure.
I was able to open the link Goldy. So the person made an “analysis” of Jimin having a girlfriend and it is from his BB 1 welive from April this year. That “Palli ga” sound that was heard at the beginning aof the Live plus a smooch sound. But what this “analyser” forgets is that from that same Live, you can also hear a breathy giggle which clearly is NOT a girl’s giggle and that breathy giggle just happens to sound ALOT like Jk’s. Lmaoo. Do with this information what u will but yes, Jimin has a girlfriend and she is called Jungkookshi.
They/them Jeon Dora-Cassandra Kook😩😩😩😩
Tumblr media
I knew one day they'd mistake him for a girl with all that gender bending he does😭😭😭😭😭😭
Jimin having a girlfriend- I'm honored. Finally yall caught on.
Jungkook. 2023.
