if you're wondering why luz has witch ears: this is an ongoing au rp between me and my friend Raddit where luz infiltrates a masked ball hosted by the EC in order to steal titan's blood. the witch ears are the work of concealment stones on her earrings

halfway through the mission she bumps into hunter and she's forced to interact with him to keep her cover cuz we love the tension

set sometime after separate tides, hunting palismen never happened bc we want that GG drama, there was blood left in eclipse lake and EC got it first

Also writing this out here if anyone gets tired of typing out defenses. Lunter: Has strong parallels with Caleb/Evelyn Cute dynamic, both retain their personalities Enemies > Friends > Lovers They are not siblings, Hunter was not adopted by Camila.

Hunter WAS adopted by Darius.

Camila stated she's a mother of 6 now, to the hexsquad. Which means if one person simply referring to someone as family means its irrefutable canon, all ships now have to break up. (Huntlow, Lumity, now all count as siblings.)

Luz's reference to family was immediately after speaking about the hexsquad in canon- context matters. She's basically just saying he's one of their 'found family' (hex squad) not You Are Now Literally My Brother. Luz and Hunter's age gap is the same as Willow and Hunter's age gap. So if you ship Huntlow then you're a hypocrite if you cite this as a reason. Dana has never said Luz and Hunter are siblings. A voice actor changed his handle for a week on twitter- a voice actor is NOT a producer or show-writer. A voice actor is not Literally The Character.

Hunter:*agitated*

Luz:What’s wrong with you? If sour apple was a person, it would look like you right now.

Hunter:Please let me be. I just feel…ugh. Like…physically.

Luz:Wake up on the wrong side of the bed?

Hunter:No, I felt fine earlier. It’s more like…*shrugs* Okay, this might sound like nonsense but I feel like the color clay the little humans like.

Luz:…Play doh?

Hunter:That! I feel like that. Like…moldable but not being molded?

Luz:….

Hunter:I sound crazy, don’t I? Forget it. Just-

Luz casually walks up to him, sits down, and cuffs his face, rolling his cheeks with her thumbs. She watches his ears flinch and his eyes widen from the shock. Her fingers move to the back of his ears, then the tips before tracing the outline of his tensed jaw.

She then fully wraps Hunter into a hug. Luz ruffles his hair for a moment before pressing her fingers on each side of his back; she focuses on slowly going up and down his entire back while giving extra attention around the shoulder blades. She can hear Hunter let out a confused but relieved sigh as he melts into the hug.

Hunter:What the heck is this sorcery? I feel…calmer. How’d you know what to do?

Luz:Hunter, you’re touch starved. I get the same. All you need is a little PPF. Positive Physical Feedback.

Hunter:That’s…annoying. *hugs her* But don’t stop yet.

Luz:Haha, will do.

She keeps going for a few more minutes, rhythmically moving around his back and up to his head again. Hunter began rubbing her back as well, which was pretty nice. She heard another him let out another sigh when she rubbed the back of his neck. Suddenly Luz felt like she had a weighted blanket on her.

Luz:Hunter?

Hunter:Zzz I don’t wanna move. Five more minutes.

Luz:My arms will get tired!

Hunter:I meant leaning on you. It’s…warm.

Luz:Oh…okay. I’m not going anywhere.

Hunter:Thanks…*closes eyes*

Luz:….
