Valaena Velaryon (Canon) (Sophia Okonedo / Golda Roshuvel) Wife of Aerion Targaryen and mother of Aegon I, Visenya and Rhaenys Targaryen. Supposed sorceress and well respected matriarch.

Daemon I Velaryon (Canon) (Alfred Enoch) First Master of Ships of Westeros, close friend to Aegon the Conqueror and his sister wives Rhaenys and Visenya.

Alyssa Velaryon (Canon) (Jodie Turner-Smith) Wife of Aenys Targaryen and mother of Rhaena, Aegon, Viserys, Jaehaerys, Alysanne, and Viserra Targaryen, as well as Boremund and Jocelyn Baratheon.

DANCE OF THE DRAGONS AND BEYOND

Laena Velaryon (Canon) (Savannah Steyn / Nanna Blondell) Oldest child of Rhaenys Targaryen and Corlys Velaryon, mother of Baela and Rhaena Targaryen. Rider of Vhagar, largest dragon alive. Clever, capable, and gone before her time.

Laenor Velaryon (Canon) (Theo Nate / John Macmillian ) The second child and only son of Rhaenys Targaryen and Corlys Velaryon and heir to Driftmark. Rider of Seasmoke and supposed father of Jacaerys, Lucerys, and Joffrey Velaryon, and Addam and Alyn Waters. One of Rhaenyra's staunchest supporters.

Vaemond Velaryon (Canon) (Wil Johnson) Brother (show) / Nephew (book) of Corlys Velaryon. Fought beside his brother in the Stepstones and sought to keep Driftmark in the hands of true Velaryons. Killed by Daemon Targaryen.

Vaenna Velaryon (OC) (Shalom Brune-Franklin) Youngest child of Vaemond Velaryon and companion to Queen Helaena Targaryen. Became a septa after the death of her father. Said to have thrown herself into the sea.

Addam Velaryon (Canon) (Clinton Liberty) Formerly Addam Waters. Bastard son of Corlys (supposedly Laenor) Velaryon, legitimized by Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen. Rider of Seasmoke, brother of Alyn Oakenfist. Loyal.

Alyn Velaryon (Canon) (Abubakar Salim / Aldis Hodge) Formerly Alyn Waters. Bastard son of Corlys (supposedly Laenor )Velaryon, legitimized by Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen. Brother of Addam Velaryon, nicknamed Oakenfist. Renowned traveler and seaman, husband to Baela Targaryen.

Daenaera Velaryon (Canon) (Gugu Mbatha-Raw / Ruby Barker) Daughter of Daeron Velaryon and grandaughter of Vaemond, the second wife of Aegon III. Dubbed 'The Little Queen,' she is well loved by nobles and smallfolk alike and even managed to warm her husband's lonely heart.

Coraena Velaryon (OC) (Denee Benton) Supposedly one of the many lovers of Aegon IV, and wife to Lord Bar Emmon. It is said, despite Coraena's staunch denial, that Aegon is the father to both her children.

A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE

Shaera Velaryon (OC) (Zethu Dlomo-Mphahlele) Current matriarch of the Velaryon family and aid to Daenerys Targaryen. Sets sail from Westeros to Essos after the arrival of Ned Stark to King's Landing, and has supported the Dragon Queen ever since. Sister to Lucerys II, aunt to Aurane Waters, Monford and Laenaera, and mother to Corlys III and Daella Velaryon.

Corlys III Velaryon (OC) (Devon Terrell) Son of Shaera Velaryon and her late husband Daeron, supposedly a bastard of Rhaegar Targaryen. Carefree and ignoring any and all responsibilities and tasks placed before him.

Monford Velaryon (Canon) (Aaron Cobham) Son of Lucerys II Velaryon, Aerys II's Master of Ships and father of Monterys Velaryon, current Lord of Driftmark. Master of Ships for Stannis Baratheon until his death at the Battle of Blackwater Bay.

Laenaera Velaryon (OC) (Karla Simone Spence) Daughter of Lucerys II Velaryon and the wife of Ser Donnel Locke, one of Robb Stark's sworn swords. Following the death of her husband at the Red Wedding, Laenaera now lives with her extremely elderly father in law, Lord Ondrew.

Daella Velaryon (OC) (Lolly Adefope) Daughter of Shaera Velaryon, handmaiden to Daenerys Targaryen. The oldest daughter of Shaera Velaryon and her late husband Daeron Velaryon. Supposedly sweet minded and simple, Daella is easily ignored which allows her to collect countless secrets for her own use.

Aurane Waters (Canon) (Ashley Walters / Rege Jean-Page) The bastard son of Lucerys II Velaryon and the half brother of Monford and Laenaera. Temporarily captured and forced to bend the knee to Joffrey and later Tommen, he was made Grand Admiral of the royal fleet before stealing the entirety of said fleet and proclaiming himself king of the stepstones.

Viserra Waters (OC) (Jessica Parker Kennedy) Bastard daughter of Lucerys II and a wealthy courtesan from the Street of Silk. Took over both her mother's position and her ambition upon her adulthood. Loyal to Lannister gold, Martell plots and Targaryen whispers.

Saerys Velaryon The older sister of Lord Laeron Velaryon, aunt to Lucerys and Shaera Velaryon, and one time companion to Queen Rhaella Targaryen. Upon her dismissal from the queen’s side, Saerys was offered as the second wife of Lord Caspar Caswell. After his death, Bitterbridge was succeeded by the son of Caspar’s previous marriage, and Saerys took her dowry and returned to Driftmark. Free spirited and strong willed, Saerys was a role model for her young niece, Shaera. Eventually sailed across the narrow sea where she became the lover of a young Nyssarios Dennaan. She stayed in Essos until her death several years later.
