If you ever want to understand me, this is a good indicator.
There are 2 bibles currently in this house, both purchased second hand. One is a lovely little Gideon New Testament and psalms purchased for the red leather cover and odd shape.
The other (with full old, new, psalms, the works), is a Precious Moments Bible (illustrated) that I purchased solely for the mental image of the face a demon would make being exorcised by it. In fact, I'm half convinced that it acts as an apotropaic ward because can you imagine the loss of demonic street cred associated with losing to this-
Because I can, and it gives me the giggles.
