My love is confined to those who bring me happiness and fulfill my desires, a self-centered affection that knows no bounds. A love tainted by self-interest, nothing more than a deal. In striking contrast, you selflessly cultivated a love for me within your heart, one that surpassed personal interests. I am hopeless, for I can never hope to be even a fraction of the significance of the very grass you walked upon. I write this as an apology, with guilt in my heart and tension in my throat, because who else can love me as much as you, Sri Krishna? Allow me to be free and serve you because that is the only thing that can help me.

विचार - अर्जुन तो पहले ही श्री कृष्ण जी की शरण में था। फिर उसको श्री कृष्ण गीता अध्याय 18 श्लोक 66 में यह नहीं कहेंगे कि मेरी धार्मिक साधना को मुझमें त्यागकर मेरी शरण में आजा। ‘‘व्रज‘‘ का अर्थ जाना है। श्री ज्ञानानंद जी ने ‘‘व्रज’’ का अर्थ आना किया है। इससे पूरी गीता का भावार्थ ही बदल जाता है। संस्कृत शब्दकोश में देखेंगे तो व्रज का अर्थ जाना ही है।

“Krishna, oh Krishna! the lord of love, With your divine form like that of a dove. Thinking of your playful smile and mischievous eyes, makes my heart flutter and take me to the skies.

Your flute’s melody echoes in my soul, as your love fills me up (with joy) and makes me whole. Oh, Krishna, you are the bliss of the highest bliss, embracing you is my only wish.

Your enchanting voice, so sweet and pure, makes me long for you, forevermore. In the feel of your presence, my heart sings, As I offer my love to you, I relish the happiness that you bring.

Unlike you, never had there been nor will there be as great a seducer, in the past, present, or in the future. The selfless gopis cry for you and Sri Radha dies (to meet you), but I am not worthy enough to do any of it, nor can I look into your limpid eyes.

Oh, Krishna! you are the source of all love, is making you mine possible, Keshava? But can such a puny soul appeal to your heart? For love was never mine to impart.

I don’t feel worthy of you, the peacocks and cows of Vraja are closer to you than I do. Will I ever become yours and you mine truly? I want to serve you and be yours faithfully.”
