The Gloominous Doom by Brian Froud
Let me introduce an old friend of mine. In the dark depths of depression, the Gloominous Doom despairs and moans, “I Can’t do it,” slump shouldered, his wings leaking drips of light. He holds the globe of clear thinking unexamined behind him. The globe contains all his lost hopes, turned heavy with his pessimism. “It’s too late now,” he sighs wearily. “It’s all behind me now.”
Ask him to toss that hope forward, where it becomes a perfect sphere. Step into it, protected and secure in the light of clarity- and the shuffling step of the Gloominous Doom becomes the dances of the Luminous Loon.

i feel like if i knew the answer to this then it wouldn’t count as subconscious umm . Willow is very basil from omori. but worse
i think Gloomin is also an inspration especially with my Mint and her Skim they look very similar i didn’t do that on pirpose
i probably gave him that shirt because of skim like 99% sure thats the case especially since thats like a school uniform and mint is like not in school but i DID start giving him different clothe
like in this^ they also both have a little sister who has green hair
also they have very different personalities skim is like a little bitch and gets beat up a lot while mint would probably beat someone up to protect willow

Oh, to be an emotionless star who shows his emotions with glow and hair/eye colour.
A little silly thing I did for my Stardust AU, trying to settle Miles’ expression and how his shining works.
At the end, I made three types of changing features:
Glow: When Miles is happy, he emits a glow from his heart. It’s the most powerful and clear way of showing his feelings, and it manifest only when miles is feeling sort of content. He has no way of controlling it
Hair: Miles’ hair lightens and darkens depending on his level of waryness. When he’s relaxed his hair is lighter, when he’s more on edge(worth), it gets darker.
Eyes: Miles’ eyes-change is difficult to notice, and represent his level of gloomines and focus. When they are dark he’s gloomy and distracted, when they are bright he’s focused and determined.
And that’s the reason I should’t be allowed to do AUs. I end up creating more lore than necessary. ^^’
