friendly reminder to not post or reblog art by giovanni gasparro, a revivalist (or renaissance style) painter. he is v antisemetic and has created some extremely racist art about blood libel. don’t spread his art, don’t put him in your webweaves or comparatives, etc. i’ve seen a couple of his pieces floating around--it’s a lot of catholic art/imagery which is why it’s popular in some circles on tumblr. i don’t think a lot of people know this, so that’s why i’m posting it--i saw an article about it linked in a reblog of his art but i didn’t want to spread the original post around in the first place, so i’m posting this instead.
