Alien!Rhys AU Moodboard
Gwen Cooper's boyfriend is secretly an alien, meaning she knows about extraterrestrials and the Rift before Torchwood ever finds her. She runs her own private detective agency, and finds Ianto before Jack does. After a mishap with a weevil leaves her injured, Ianto Jones comes to her rescue; she decides to hire him after realizing he also knows about aliens and has experience dealing with them. Subsequently, Jack Harkness takes notice of this strange detective agency and their new hire from Torchwood London. Shenanigans ensue, and Myfanwy still gets found in this AU.
