thinking about kaeya returning to mondstadt after his mission in sumeru and that night he goes to angel's share and diluc is bartending there and it's so obvious that something is off with kaeya but diluc ofc doesn't say anything bc like. how would he even start that conversation?
"hello estranged brother, i know you're partially inebriated at the moment, but something is clearly off about you please tell me what it is"
so he doesn't say anything
and kaeya just keeps absentmindedly drinking (and maybe he drank a bit before he arrived at angel's share too) and it's enough to make even him wasted
and he's slumped onto the counter, finger trailing around the rim of the glass diluc had long since refused to refill. the tavern is empty except for the two of them, and diluc has begun to clean up when kaeya says
"alberich is the last name of the man who runs the abyss order"
and diluc just. freezes.
kaeya lets out a hoarse laugh, and the glass falls over onto the counter.
diluc walks over, carefully turning to see kaeya's face, and his expression is completely blank, zoned out.
it ends with diluc taking kaeya to his house and making sure he gets in bed and falls asleep and then diluc leaves a little note that says something like
"K,
I walked you home and cleaned up some of the wine bottles laying around. Please try not to drink before you come to the tavern.
You told me about the heritage of your name last. That isn't something that I relate to your person.

as expected, there was apparently a mishap with the CN to EN translation about the Kaeya dancing bit lmao
Basically, CN states that Kaeya tends to overdo the dancing (either he does it with too much effort or catches too much attention)
EN implies he's bad at dancing or has difficulty with it
either way, I think kaeya is a silly dork for it (im personally choosing to make him pull off a Yuzuru Hanyu where he's graceful on ice/battle but a clumsy mess elsewhere, thank you for coming to my questionable HC opinions)

Imagine Albedo seeing you wearing a Witch outfit
(I Haven't played the new event yet! But all the fanarts I've seen tell me it's wonderful, and inspired me. By the way, sorry for my bad english)
On an inconvenient afternoon, high-pitched giggles filled Albedo's laboratory. Who else could it be but Klee, excitedly twirling in her new witch-inspired dress? You couldn't help but find all those ruffles and adorable details utterly endearing.
Curiosity piqued, you noticed something peculiar inside the delicate box that held the small dress. There was another dress, larger in size, but with a different color, yet still following the witchy concept. You wondered why it was there, but the temptation to try it on overcame you, and you made your way to your room, slipping into the dress.
As you stepped out, wearing the enchanting attire, you found yourself face to face with Albedo. His eyes widened, a light blush tinging his pale cheeks. With a soft chuckle he observed you and then he spoke, "You could have told me that you and Klee had planned match outfits."
Your face flushed with embarrassment, and you fidgeted nervously with the hem of your dress. Your lips parted slightly, ready to begin an explanation, but Klee's excited little footsteps arrived faster, and both her eyes and her smile widened upon seeing you. "[Name] is a witch too! Come on, come on, Uncle Kaeya will love to see us like this!"
Klee exclaimed, tugging you towards the door.
Albedo let you two go, mentally noting that he definitely had to paint you later...

imagine you have to pretend for centuries to be something you're not, pretend to be a god, thousands of lives depend on nobody finding out, and bc you were never taught how to be an adult or how to conduct yourself like a leader and guide a nation you rely somewhat heavily on this guy bc he's clearly more competent at it than you, who barely knows how to talk to others like someone in your position should
distantly you know he's isolated and lonely just like you, but you can't tell him that you understand bc you can't reveal yourself to anyone or it'll all fall apart. distantly you know you could help each other, that he could make this more bearable for you if only bc he would Know, but you can't bc he can't know and bc he can't know he thinks you're one of the deities he resents and you think he might even hate you
and maybe you started to resent him a bit too bc back then he couldn't see through you as he didn't know enough about humans nor gods, but he's catching up and it makes all this even harder since he's known you for so long. you can't tell him but you still rely on him bc you're out of your depth in this position you've been given without guidance, and you don't know if you can handle it alone, he's always been there after all. even if he might hate you and you resent him but not really and he can't know he's still there
and when it's all over and you can let go you run as fast as you can bc the memories hurt too much, you can't stay there you need to leave. and you think he's probably relieved you're finally out of his way, an eyesore reminding him of what his kind has lost, of the hubris of the gods he hates, and who couldn't even be useful half the time. not knowing he's just glad you're finally free

I feel truly sorry for Furina.
The quest shows just how much of a lost and terrified child she is. Yes, she is an archon. But one that was born* merely five hundred years ago.
She is clueless as to how to navigate the situation. Nevertheless she is the 'all-knowing, ever righteous' hydro archon and is expected to behave as such.
I won't expand here on the mirror-like existence of the archons (Venti/Zhongli & Nahida/Furina, Ei being somewhat of a transition), but she is basically the exact opposite of Nahida : a child who has been put in a position of absolute power, regarded as the savior of her nation, glorified to the point of ridicule. She is lost. Would it not be for Neuvillette, I do believe she might not have been able to maintain such a façade.
Not so much because she is incompetent (that much has yet to be addressed in the storyline) but because she has no clue nor key on how to even begin to comprehend how to tackle all of that.
She is catastrophicaly ridiculous, but she is also just a child put in a position she is not fit for.
*I know that, much like Venti, she was an elemental spirit before that but I think that such a change in position can be seen as (re)birth
