at long last! it’s here! my piece for @gf10yearslaterzine!
i go more and more complicated with each zine i work on lol, but i’m really proud of how this all came out ;v; later on i’ll make a bonus post showing each full photograph and letter without any overlap, but for now enjoy a few closeup snapshots of some of my fave sections (featuring cameos from me and my pals playing dd&md in the background ;D)

Here is my part in the @gf10yearslaterzine.
I am so happy to be a part of such a major project to send off my love for Gravity Falls. I have been in this fandom since 2015 and here we are nearly 7 years later since the finale. I’ve made so many friends, participated in so many communities, and was able to do things I never thought possible since joining in the fandom.

Oh course it's Ford! I just love this nerd to pieces! He's smart and chaotic and sometimes a little bit over the top but he means well.
I see a lot of myself in him from his love of all things weird and unusual to his blinding obsessions and the way that he feels like he doesn't fit in with other people.
I just want to give him a hug and play DD&MD with him!

Day 5: Favorite Episode
I think I have like 5 favorite episodes. Maybe 10. Shhhhhh. But I'm gonna talk about why Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons is so great:
- We get to see what Ford's like when he's not in trauma/crisis/existential threat mode. ...and it turns out he's totally adorkable.
- It is so obvious the writers have never played D&D, but like, they know people who do. It feels like someone trying to describe their friend's fandom. Or like Drunk History. And it cracks me up.
- Weird Al is in it.
- Weird Al is in it.
- This duplication is intentional.
- I say "dark times, those nineties" approximately once a week.
- Stan and Grenda bonding. Over murder.

Ok I also need to talk about Scary-Oke, because:
- it's GORGEOUS, HOLY MOLY, the LIGHTING Y'ALL
- The setup and payoff with "I'm not gonna raise the dead!" Just absolute S-tier.
- Seeing Stan be an Actual Adult and protect the kids?? Shivers.
- T8king Over Midnight is a legit fun song. (Are there any good covers of it?)
