i'm working on a kid levihan fic that i've probably already mentioned to you before? a few themes included are: grief, friendship, anxiety, the passage of time, healing... and it was supposed to be short but i'm afraid it Will Not Be lmao

i'm a plant killer. plants do not survive under my care, although i try my best. it's truly a tragedy.
🍐 if you could make one character real, who would it be
HANGE ZOË. they need a hug, a lot of support, a psychologist, a hot cocoa, a non-risky but action-filled job, a fuckton of love… and i want to give them every single thing on that list!! also, i wanna travel with them because i think they would be the best (most positive and enthusiastic, at least) travel buddy. and i'm a little bit in love with them, too. icymi (it being my entire blog)
🌺 what is the best gift someone has ever given you and why is it so important?
a sweater my sister gave me five years ago. it's important bc she made it herself, because it's soft as fuck, and because it's my fave color and it makes my eyes pop in mrs krikkit's very unbiased opinion!

2. Do you drink tea or coffee? How do you take it?
i drink both tea and coffee. i will primarily drink cold sweet tea, but if i’m sick, sometimes i’ll drink hot tea with a little bit of lemon. as for coffee, i prefer it iced or cold brew, but i’ll never shy away from a hot cinnamon dolce latte.

9 People You Would Like to Get to Know Better.
Thanks for the tag, @merlyn-bane :)) I did this a couple weeks ago, but I will absolutely not ignore a tag
1. 3 ships: Obitine for sure. I also like Codywan a lot. My favorite guilty pleasure lately is Obikin...I mean I don't really see it canonically but I absolutely adore an AU or all the stuff that's being written lately. I think I enjoy the chaos. I will absolutely read other ships too, but those are my top 3.
2. first ever ship Vegeta and Bulma from Dragonball Z. That was my first ever fandom. I've written for them, also for a minor and relatively hated ship in One Piece, specifically Nami and Zoro. Crazy enough, those fics are getting a ton of attention lately because of the Netflix series, and people are like OMG I love their chemistry, and I'm sitting there like, see?
Last song: Don't Look Back in Anger by Oasis. I'm on a nostalgia kick lately.
Last movie: Shotgun Wedding. Ok, so hear me out, hubs and I were bored and had no expectations for this movie at all, I thought it'd be terrible. I really enjoyed it, it was such a hot mess and I could just shut off my brain and enjoy it for what it was.
Currently reading: I'm supposed to be reading Milkman by Anna Burns for book club. I haven't yet. I just downloaded the audiobook because Ijust don't have the capacity to read right now.
Currently consuming: Had scrambled eggs and homemade hash browns for dinner. Drinking coffee.
Currently craving: Sleep, a vacation, a way to shut my brain off. It's been a rough week. The whole conflict in Israel has been a huge topic this week at work. War and all its collateral damage is a heavy topic and it's been bringing up a lot of old stuff I'd rather keep buried because I have a job to do. I've also been fighting a cold the past couple weeks and my autoimmune condition has flared up I think as a result. So brain fog, pain and exhaustion are just a thing right now and it's really effected my motivation and ability to do anything fun like write. I hate to complain or rant about stuff like this but sometimes it just needs to come out.

palm tree ⇢ do you have a fictional villain you shouldn’t like but love regardless?
From Choices? Llewyn from Immortal Desires. The man is a monster, but he's the brand of monster I find appealing. And I may or may not have an idea for a Llewyn/MC fic set ten years down the line that I will probably never write because that pairing is too niche even for me.
sage ⇢ what ‘medium’ of art (poetry, music, fiction, paintings, statues etc.) is the most touching to you? why do you think that is?
It depends. It's usually fiction, and that's what I create myself, but I've been known to cry at a symphony or become enraptured by a painting.
I have an affinity for fiction because it's the only medium I've ever found that lets me live other lives. Half of my empathy is a result of my upbringing. The other half is because I grew up on fiction.

🍑 Would you get along well with your first ever OC? (If they didn't know you had created them, just really in a scenario where you could befriend them)
my very first oc was actually three ocs lol, they were a friend group who get into this horrific battle with an evil warlock. I don't think I'd get along w/ them very well, because they're like insanely good at their character traits (literally the epitome of mary sue - you had the jock character who can brawl like fifty people at once despite being an average-sized middle schooler; you had the smart one who could plan ahead, make effective strategies etc; then you had the Morale Guy/Healer dude who knew like fifteen different medicinal plants and herbs but also a good joke to drop in at the right moment)
I think they'd be those middle schoolers who'd bully me lmao, even though I'm older than them - just hurl insults and give me a hard time at family gatherings and cheat at monopoly and plan this really strategic coup to prove that "being older doesn't make you wiser".
I do think I'd get along with the healer oc. he might appreciate the jokes.
🍓 What is something you swore you would never, ever do/watch/read/write, but have now done it?
watch horror movies.
Okay I was the kid growing up who could not handle horror, ever. one time i came down with a fever after watching a scary movie. now I feel like my handling of the 'supernatural oooh scary scary' elements has kind of become easier. I'm not easily scared by movie gore, i can attempt at writing gore as well. I thought i'd never watch scary movies - or movies at all growing up, but now I've grown a certain liking to the 'grim horror' genre.
i know 'time heals' is such a cliched expression, but time does heal your unhealthy perception of horror movies as this 'fever-inducing, terrible nightmare'. Some are actually good! You'd just have to figure out where your comfort lies. for me, i'd say the gore (on a familiar choices scale) would be on a range from that one skeleton dude in the haunting of braidwood manor to a level below that one scene in It where pennywise snares his teeth.
I can't handle teeth, I'm sorry.
🍍 What do you love to eat to feel better when sick?
okay so my ultra comfort meal at any given point of time includes:
potatoes - smash em, mash em, cut em up and fry them - literally anything goes; can even be any kind of potatoes even - heck, I'll take sugar beet as well. A ton of spice, can't go wrong with the good old turmeric, chilli powder and so on. Then you're going to take your fried-up thing and toss it in boiled rice, pour in a hefty amount of curd on top of it and boom, literally one of the best things I've eaten.
you know how people go, "in college, i tend to eat the same thing every day" well that's legit, it isn't a hollywood thing! i spent one week eating this concoction for lunch and dinner and it's the best thing that's ever happened to me.

💚 - What’s your favourite colour?
Purple! I can make the case for others, but I always go back to purple. (I'll say a bit more in a couple of questions.)
🐷 - What’s your favourite animal?
Owls. Even answering that makes me go all 'hm, is it really' but it is one of them. It's the one that my family will gift me in little trinkets the most, too!
🎨 - Any hobbies?
Apart from the "basics", such as consuming media and reading (eta: and writing, lmao, how could I forget the one I'm actively not good at), I think the two main ones currently are photography and crochet.
I don't do much of the former lately, especially since those street photography workshops I attended stopped in the summer (guy running them got busy), but I crochet often, even when I cannot go to the group sessions – often while consuming media! My current project is not an amigurumi, for once, but a cotton tee in a light shade of purple, that might take me a while. (I also think I want to do longer sleeves than the owner of my local store suggested, so it's more spring than summer but idk. I'm using Drops Safran yarn, with a 3mm hook, so it's going to take me a while.)

well, i'm working on 4 wildly different wips at the moment, but i've been focusing esp on a very old request for mike x erwin, that i feel i'm FINALLY getting right. it's a modern/office AU, a little bit nsfw but not actual smut, kind of a crack fic too? and with background levihan because, as always, everything is levihan and i can't fucking control my obsession with them. so yeah, fingers crossed to finish and post it soon!!

but alright, sticking to SNK and having to pick only one, i have to go with Good Fight by someonestolemyshoes, which is a masterpiece that has lived rent free in my mind since i first read it mooooooonths ago. i think about that fic almost every time i write canonverse levihan, even if i'm not writing anything smutty. it just pops to the front of my thoughts like "OMG REMEMBER THIS FIC" and idk man (gn), i just love it to death. it's got longing + friends to lovers + There was only one bed/tent Trope + feelings realization while fucking so like what am i to do??

16 - What's your favorite feature of yours?
You ask me this at a time when I hate all my features. Which I suppose is the best time to answer it. If pressed, I'd say my lips, with my legs and my neck coming in second and third, respectively.
22 - What's the weirdest thing you've seen someone do in public?
I have seen people do so many strange things in public, yet when faced with this question I am drawing a blank. Everything I can think of is either bad-weird (like, gross and/or frightening), or it's something that makes me second guess myself because I wonder if it's 'weird enough.'
Okay, okay, here’s one. I once witnessed a guy steal another guy’s sunglasses right off his face, saying “These are Bono sunglasses.” Then he put them on his own face, and belted out “Sunday Bloody Sunday.” This all happened in the middle of a crowded Chicago sidewalk. Probably not the weirdest thing ever, but it’s the one that popped into my head.

Prop making. Just in general. I have made exactly one and it was terrible. And they scare me because I dont even know where to start in conceptualizing or patterning them half the time. Sure, there are tutorials everywhere, but tutorials don't often show you the first like 2 steps of the process: patterning and material choices.

Ooo my first fictional crush…that would have to be Zack Fair from Final Fantasy VII!
I remember I was 8 years old, and my sister had just gotten FF7 Crisis Core for the PSP, and we had no idea who any of the characters were except 2 and the minute I saw Zack and got to see his personality…he had my heart 😆!
He was just a very fun, upbeat, and positive character, which was what I needed at that time, and ever since then he’s just always had a special place in my heart and anytime I see him or watch clips of him my day is just a little better 😆! So yes I still have a bit of a fictional crush on him 🙈!
Which is why I can’t wait to play Rebirth tonight when it releases, because that means I’ll get to see him again *squeals and rolls around in excitement* 😁!!

🍇 Besides writing, do you have a hobby?
i don't have a life besides writing.
actually lmao I'd say it differs from time to time - like a while ago, I got super into mixing music and then into crosswords and then into like a million other things. writing is the most consistent hobby for me because it isn't so rigid and you could just do a bunch of freaky things like a kid with a chemistry set.
🍌 What weather makes you feel the most inspired?
honestly weather doesn't factor in at all for me. I could literally be doing anything and play with an idea in my head for a fic or something.
also what weather lmao, where I live it's just sunny throughout and rains like once in a millennium or something. not a lot of options to work with, which sucks.
🍒 What was the first book you remember reading?
oh this is a good one, okay, I don't remember. Look it was a long time ago, I can't even recall what I did yesterday, which makes this doubly difficult.
but if I had to guess, it would probably be comics. I got super into comics in 1st and 2nd grade - not the typical dc marvel stuff, rather this one comic tinkle, you could purchase in a small shop on the side of the street. I grew up with a lot of them - some classics such as SuperWeirdos, Butterfingers, including the ones you'd get on newspapers. Calvin and Hobbes, Peanuts, you get the idea. a couple of Asterix comics thrown in, Dennis the Menace, so on and so forth.
i was morbidly obsessed with those comics, my earliest memories of getting into writing was through those comics (and also begging my parents for like my first ever written work that I did in 1st grade was a comic strip. I drew a lot of them over primary school before learning "hey, why not just.. take the writing from the bubbles away and just.. yknow putting them on paper"
loved them lmao. I may have read like maybe baby books and so on, but my first introduction to a whole another ethereal experience was through comics. (i can talk about this forever)
