Broly headcanons
I Love him and I’m sick of the content drought.
Broly is very quiet. Especially around his s/o. He feels real comfortable in your presence so he doesn’t feel the need to speak unless spoke to, or if he has a question on human customs.
You wanna go to the store? Guess where going to the store now. He follows you everyone whenever he’s not training. He likes your company and doesn’t want you to get hurt when he’s not there.
Plus imagine how funny it is walking around satan city with him. He’s just looking around at everything like a little kid but his resting face probably scares people off. (Insert big sayain carrying small bash of groceries 😭🤍)
Pretty sure he’d love pets and kids by the way. They’re so small and full of energy..he gets super protective over small things and people. Yes it would be a bad decision to leave him completely alone with a real small kid like a baby.
But he’d be so good at just holding them and playing with them for a few moments till you get back. He just lets kids tug at him. Not like it hurts anyways he just sits and makes sure they’re not hurting themselves.
You’d need a bigger house..or bed for him to stay with you. But living with broly is pretty simple. Like I said before he’s real quiet. All you have to worry about is the sayain appetite and goku barging in to train.
I agree with broly having sensory issues as well. He doesn’t really like shirts but if he has to wear em he likes a fabric that isn’t to soft but to scratchy either. He’s not used to super soft textures so it throws him off.
Broly doesn’t really get jealous but he does get protective. He’s confident in his abilities to keep you safe and happy so don’t worry about jealousy. But…he gets agitated when people are to touchy with you. Especially if you start to smell different.
Oh? You wanna cuddle? Ok he’s down. He’s pretty submissive in the relationship but once he gets the hang of things he starts initiating things more. All of a sudden he’s hugging you while you’re trying to cook.
All of a sudden he’s pulling you into his lap. Not to mention…you know you’ve got him if he lets you touch ba. He watches your go to touch ba and doesn’t even think twice he just carries on with what he was doing. Yeah your set. You’ve got him hooked.

Garl, meanwhile, is the most bouyant motherfucker ever to exist. He doesn't even swim. He kicks his legs a little bit to propel himself but he doesn't tread water like Valere and Zale do; He hangs onto his backpack and floats there.
Garl, what do you have in your backpack counterweighting all of that cookware? Tell me your secrets, you unsinkable bouncy man!

I may have overreacted. And I apologize if anyone was upset by my entirely warranted outburst of violence.
Having been calmly and civilly persuaded to stand down/dragged from the room by Garl and Zale, we are now pursuing an alternative strategy.
The plan was to cook food and then sell it for profit. We are here in the mole mines because we have a merchant at the campfire ready to sell things hot off the pan.
However, we've run into a bit of a snag. That is, after crunching the numbers, we've found that there is no monetary value added to food by cooking it. We can get the same results by selling the raw ingredients. So we trekked up here for nothing.
And after overturning Garl's entire bag into the mole merchant's hands while he pleaded with me to stop, we're still short 50 G.
*deep breath* It's okay. That's on me. It's my fault for agreeing to pursue a peaceful solution, rather than the time-tested and proven standby.
Wanton violence.
It's done. A lot of skulls were cracked to make this purchase happen. Consider it a gesture of my infinite mercy that yours wasn't one of them.

Delta The Werecat (Corruption Form)
-Bio-
Delta is a werecat beast who, despite his burly appearance, is actually a rather shy and gentle person. He loves to interact and care for little animals, such as the Chao in his Chao Garden of the Mystic Ruin Caves, which he has some of the rarest Chao you can imagine. He doesn't have street smarts though, as he doesn't know much of the world yet. He doesn't know what a phone is for example.
He has a hatred for vampires, churches, and has a constant urge to take down Sonic the Hedgehog.
As you can see with his age, he looks as he is a young adult, but is much older than that. He was only a mere resident of an unknown tripe of Mobians who worshipped Gaia. Amongst those people is Delta, who was a kid at the time of Gaia's prime. Something caused Gaia to split up into Dark and Light Gaia (idk play Sonic Unleashed or something), and the people of the tribes became corrupted. Delta became the Dark Guardian, and was tasked to destroy those who got in the way. He was defeated by Sonic, but unlike the others, he somehow reverted back to normal when Dark Gaia was defeated.
After he was seemingly brought back somehow, he tried to live as a civilian again as he needed to adjust to the modern world since 100+ years of being the Dark Guardian. Everything was fine at first, until he saw the Full Moon, which caused him to tap into his "Unleashed" form, where he becomes berserk and murderous. Due to his nearly catastrophic actions, he vows to never been seen by the public eye again. This results to him living a lonely life in a secret cave within the Mystic Ruins with his Chao. He keeps a low profile every time he leaves the cave, avoiding any sight from humans and Mobians alike. He wishes he could bring himself to interact with people a lot more, but he doesn't want them to fear him and potentially try and hunt him down.
Every time he gets to go out however, he loves to write about his adventures on his notebook. His notebook, his Chao, and the Mystic Ruins are what he knows about the most in his life, along with usual common sense. Just not on modern street smarts I guess, I don't know how to describe it lol
-Combat-
Delta is unbelievably powerful. With his large fists, he could create a gigantic crater if he wanted. He can also extend his arms like Werehog Sonic to punch even further, or grab nearby objects and enemies to give em' a pummel! He even has some special moves, like the Moon Ring. A crescent shaped projectile to damage those hit. He can does these several times with a arm swinging motion.
His "Unleashed" Form, only obtained via the Full Moon or using the White Chaos Emerald's superpower (which he doesn't have) He acts like an absolute monster in this form, his attack power and speed are increased massively, and his defense skyrockets to massive levels. If he was so angry, he could end up destroying an entire island if not treated to. When using the White Emerald, he actually has a bit of control of his Unleashed form.
-Others-
His most notable Chao is his most trusted companion. That being Ferox the Moon Chao. Ferox is a Dark Chaos Chao with the Moon Chao coating. He can shapeshift into any animal he wishes, such a winged snake, a crab, or even another Sonic character. He also has the ability to heal others when they need it.

Cayla squealed in delight. “These are so yummy!! My parents will love ‘em!” Cayla holds her blushing cheek as she nibbles on the first cookie cup. They were fresh from the oven, and were let cool long enough to be decorated.
“Yeah, we did pretty good with these. You sure I can’t take a handful of them to go?” Kit inquired with a tease. “Positive! We can make some for you another time!” Cayla points to her, a toothy grin. She proceeded to leave some in a paper plate, and assemble the others left over in a paper bag.
“Faantastic. I think my visit here’s about done. I’ll see you later, squirt.” Kit waves goodbye to both her and Pu’ar with a peace sign as she went out, closing the front door behind her.
“...She has a- colorful mouth.” Pu’ar comments once she’s gone. “Yeah, but I don’t repeat any of it!” Cayla closes the little slit of the paper bag to contain the treats. “Now to find that grumpy monkey!” Cayla nods with newfound optimism.
“Ahh, but Cayla, what if he’s asleep this time?” Pu’ar asked with concern. “Then I’ll just quietly leave the snacks next to him for when he wakes up! Easy peasy!” Cayla said, confidently. “You’ll be going with me this time anyhow, so no worries!” Cayla takes Pu’ar’s small paw in her own as they both went out the door and flew up together. Just as last time, it was kind of a long way, and almost difficult to remember where she found him last.
Sometime later, Cayla pointed to a particular cave. “Aha! That looks familiar!” She beamed, flying down to the cave, Pu’ar following behind her with a worried look. Cayla landed carefully to the ground, and stepped inside. “Broly?? Helloooo~?” She calls out, the cave’s echoes being the only response aside from the silence. “I got snacks! If you’re not sleeping, say something!” She went in deeper. His scent lingered there, but he wasn’t around. Only then did she remember that he left this cave the last time she tried to cheer him up. It made her ears droop downward and remain silent. Pu’ar looked at her from behind, not seeing what her expression could be...
Cayla seemed to wipe her eyes and turn back. “Ah, who am I kidding, these wouldn’t fill that belly of his!” Cayla says, showing herself to only be slightly disappointed. She then proceeds to add on to the statement with a deeper voice. “What is this, a snack for ants? Get outta here runt, or I’ll throw you to a cactus! Phooey!” She huffed.
Pu’ar blinked and floated close to her. “Well, atleast we know Yamcha and Tater will like them...you’re doing your best.” He reassures her. “Yeah..hehe, jokes on him, they’ll probably be gone before he can smell ‘em!” Cayla giggles.
Despite such an optimistic response, it was tearing her up inside. But like she was going to make that obvious at a time like this...

6. Which saga is your favorite?
oh god, having actual opinions on things. this is tough... the saiyan saga is super nostalgic and very interesting to look back on as this Moment where DBZ defined its own identity at a time before that identity got like, repetitive or way over the top. but the namek saga IS that toppest peak of insanity brought to its natural conclusion, with the following androids/cell saga being kinda like. not bad but weird, pacing wise, when you think about how natural the progression from raditz to frieza went....
i've never even SEEN the majin buu saga but the fact that ssj3 goku is there makes it the greatest of all time AND BUU TOO i like buu :) weird creature. the tournament of power was cool and enjoyable to watch and i liked all the characters that were designed who we'll never ever see ever again.
the best super dragonball heroes manga is the first one, demon realm mission, that tells the story of how xeno trunks and the time patrol came to be- it was NOT adapted into a full little anime arc which is BULLSHIT considering it's the greatest one and crucial background info for the entire concept... i love it and the characters it introduces so much. WAIT I FORGOT ABOUT GT the baby saga is so interesting and expansive and huge in my mind and ssj4 is awesome so there. those are some of my favorites

resurrection F did more damage to dragonball than literally any other super media. it embodies the absolute nosedive of derivative pandersome (not a word?) rubbish that the series shoveled out in lieu of doing anything more interesting. bringing frieza back like that was comparable to like, the 4d movie where broly shows up to kill goku and now he's GOD BROLY so you can take him seriously as a threat at this point, it's the same thing. super saiyan blue has grown on me bc it's so stupid but scrapping super saiyan god immediately was a bad move too. everything abt that arc is totally limp and purposeless. super was at its strongest when exploring new universes and their fighters, and at its weakest when bringing back stuff from Z like frieza or future trunks (altho i do like what zamasu has going on, it's just why did you have to lean on future trunks for this ? marketing)
ig my controversial thoughts on the android/cell saga make it the lowpoint of z for me?? but it has its own swagger that i can appreciate... i'm only just reading the original manga so maybe i'll come to appreciate it more. it'd also probably feel bigger if like, the majin buu saga didn't kinda shit all over the stuff it changed about the series LOL
super 17 is an incredibly weird part of GT that could easily be cut all together without losing much. i appreciate the androids getting some screen time and emotions and stuff but it's so out of the blue. the worst super dragonball heroes arc is-- and im very sorry to a very special friend for saying it, but it's prison planet. literally just have a grudge with it bc it's where the ""anime"" starts and i got so tired trying to watch it at various points before reading the manga... it's been too long honestly i should reread it, i'm sure the manga version is better and more fun than i remember, i just have the anime version stuck in my brain. cumber is awesome and his power cannot be contained and all but we get More cumber later anyway, along with his whole gang... like tch... cmon

Ok but in true ask tradition! :U im hijacking this ask to talk about a dumb theory thats been rolling around in my head for like 2 years now: android 16 and broly similarities:
Ok so. If you aren't aware. The android arc of dragon ball was originally going to focus on the androids 19 & 20 and trunks even names them specifically
But Toriyamas former editor, Kazuhiko Torishima, didn't like them as the main antagonists and so Toriyama changed it to focus on 17 & 18 as the bad guys and introduced 16 as a sort of mystery
Now. This gets almost completely dropped once that same former editor ALSO doesn't like these androids and cell becomes the main villian for the arc (yeah yeah, the bomb thing is technically *there*, but its so inconsequential most people forget its even a thing :T )
So. Idk exactly when movie 8 went into production, but we know Brolys LSSJ form was inspired by trunks SSJ grade3 form that appears several chapters after cell has been introduced and the androids have become power-up fodder, so im gonna argue its safe to say the decision to move away from their story had been made
(side tangent that I find absolutely hilarious btw- despite gokus commentary in the HTC, SSJ grade 3 was the strongest form of ssj we saw at this point, so its pretty appropriate to use it as the basis of the strongest scariest ssj form.... rrriiiiiiiiggght up until toriyama introduced SSJ2 on Feb 2, 1993- near exactly 1 month before the first Broly movie hit theaters. Completely undermined what, up til then, looked like a trend in stronger form = bigger and beefier right as the big beefy strongest guy ever movie came out 🤣 absolutely love it!)
So anyways. The movies overall also tend to have varying degrees of similarities with recent arcs in the show and Toriyama, while not overly involved, would give the studio designs and story notes. And. Idk. Yall can tell me im reaching if ya want, but: A guy who's made into a weapon by his father who's on a quest for revenge and has this conflicting view of his son as both someone he feels he failed to protect, someone he cares about, but also as a tool for that revenge, and someone who's destructive power hes become deeply afraid of.. now where have we seen somethin like that 🤔 may be an extra reach but I also think its neat that despite their different face shape, Toriyamas gave em the same expression
Lol they're also both just ridiculously tall bastards. Like for no gd reason. And yeah, to me atleast, it explains why hating goku specifically gets shoehorned into brolys backstory (listen I can absolutely do the mental gymnastics to make it make sense! I'm fine with it! Its fine! I actually like it! ... but it IS a dumb shoehorned plot point! Both things can be true D:< ) look just lookit these tall ass shits
Anyway. My last note is just this statement from Toriyama about 16 and Gero. The way gero is presented is really in line with how I see Paragus as this tragic failure of a father- honestly caring about his kid, but letting grief and revenge drive him into conflicting corners where he wants revenge FOR the life denied his son, but also actively shaping his son into such a terrifying weapon that ultimately hed rather his kid just never be conscious cause thats the 'only way to keep them safe'
“Dr. Gero’s son who died young a long time ago served as the visual model for Android 16. He was a high-ranking soldier for the Red Ribbon Army but was shot down by the enemy. Dr. Gero reserved special feelings for 16 as “his son,” and although he equipped 16 with immense power and a frightening destructive device, he didn’t want to see him be defeated on the battlefield and thus programmed him to have a gentle personality. 16 was consequently considered a failed creation.” The smaller caption below Toriyama’s quote reads: “Was the reason Dr. Gero didn’t want to activate 16 perhaps because of his parental love to not see him destroyed?”

Trying to find a core link between them all, I came up with ‘Gazeless’ (Sightless, Blind both in a literal way for N’doul and ‘Blinded by Ambition/Faith/Selfishness/etc.’ for others in one manner or another) and ‘Menagerie’ is another term for an odd collection of varied trinkets or animals. in this case its bc my muses spanned a few fandoms.

Second I tried doing this a few days ago but tumblr just said "nah" and erased everything I wrote so sorry this took so long to respond to lmao here's attempt number 2.

Favorite Character - Hehehehehe oh boy I wonder who my favorite DB character is? :3c Real talk i love so many DB characters but HO boy do i L O V E Raditz. I could talk for hours about how much i love him don't get me started
Favorite Villain - Oooh that's a tough one. Love Piccolo Sr., Z Broly is amazing (if we only focus on the first movie.), Goku Black is literally the best part of the Super anime (Zamasu doesn't count i can't stand him).
Favorite Saga - Namek! Namek saga is my favorite part of Z.
Favorite Couple - Bruh GoChi hands down. I love them so much. When i was a kid and had the biggest crush on Goku (before Raditz showed up lol). I used to be sooo jealous of Chi Chi cause thought she was sooo cool and so pretty and she got to marry Goku like she's living the dream. I miss Chi Chi i wish Toriyama wasn't weird about women.
Least Favorite Character - Buu. Every form of him. Yes that includes Uub. Sorry. Also fucking Tao Pai Pai. I've always hated him. Zamasu is annoying as fuck but he's tolerable when he shuts the fuck up (Goku Black is great but he is on thin ice for being Zamasu).
Favorite episode - How do I pick ONE?? Like Yamcha's intro, literally any tournament episode from OGDB, Boss Rabbit omg, when King Piccolo got his shit wrecked, RADITZ'S intro, that episode where Gohan gets trapped underground with a robot, the G i n y u s, T R U N K ' S INTRO, THE FUCKING DRIVING EPISODE LIKE COME ON, those episodes that take place after Goku and Gohan come out of the HTC and spending time with family and friends before the Cell Games makes me WEEP, when they break the fucking Z-Sword, Princess Trunks, the first time Goku goes 4 LETS GOOO, probably anything with SSJ4 Gogeta I have so much fun when he's on screen, Vegito showing up during the Black arc!!!!

Favorite fight - If i have to narrow it down to just one it's definitely gonna be Cell vs Gohan.
Most emotional moment - Ooooh a good follow up for the last question. The Father-Son Kamehameha. Like, c'mon that moment is just, bruh it's good okay? i'm getting emotional thinking about it now
Most epic death - Oof i'm stuck between King Piccolo and Cell. Those are both super satisfying.

Listen. L i s t e n. I love him. He's great. If there's anything people will know me for it's for loving Raditz. I remember being six watching OGDB for the first time, having this growing crush on Goku having fun watching his adventures and wishing I could be one of the women in his life. Then he grows up, gets married to Chi Chi, and I remember thinking "Aww I'm so happy for him."
Then Z starts and opens with a beast of a man landing on Earth, wrecking shit, tanking hits, mopping the floor with what was supposed to be the strongest beings on the planet and laughs about it?? And THEN he drops the bombshell that he's Goku's BROTHER???
This guy became a FASCINATION for me. He hunts and eats an animal RAW. He flexes his power and strength literally every second cause he's hot shit and he knows he is. He's so fucking cool. He kidnaps his nephew and tells his brother to start committing genocide "or else". His whole shtick on screen is that he's this big bad mean and scary brutal warrior.
But then he does this thing. It's so quick, so easy to miss and ignore. His nephew is crying, wailing, losing his mind over everything. He's understandably scared. And yeah Raditz isn't gentle about the way he tells him to shut up. But he tells his nephew to "be brave".
That's when I was hooked. Why would such a "big mean and scary" guy tell his kidnapped victim to "be brave"? Maybe he's not such a bad guy after all? Is his "big scary guy" shtick an act? A farce? A mask to hide a softer side to him? I needed to know more I wanted to see what else this guy would do! And he's the brother of Goku! Goku manages to make friends with pretty much anyone! He'll wanna talk to the guy who is literally his big brother and the only blood family he has right?
AND THEN HE GETS FUCKING MURDERED AND WE NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN IN CANON EXCEPT FOR FLASHBACKS.
We were ROBBED I tell you.
I am SO THANKFUL that the games and supplementary stuff actually use him and look into his character, dive into the what-ifs and have FUN with him. I cling to any media with Raditz in it.

Best Vegeta moment - That fucking come from behind sneak attack he used on Cell to help Gohan finish him off will forever be the COOLEST fucking thing Veggie's ever done in the anime.

Most gruesome death - Z Broly fucking exploded that's pretty damn gruesome. So did Krillin so him too.
Funniest moment/episode - Look it's not even that funny but fucking 4Goge taunting Omega Shenron and pulling bluff kamehameha on him makes me giggle i love 4Goge so much. Also that time Krillin full strength chucked a rock at Goku's head cause he thought Goku would just instinctively catch it. Shit has me wheezing. Ooh! And the time Goku return-to-sendered Tao's grenade has me rolling every time fuck Tao lmao get fuckin rekt.
Best Goku moment - so many i love him. If i really have to pick i'm stuck again in that moment just before the Cell games where he just spends time with his loved ones. Those are literally the sweetest Goku moments and i get weepy thinking about them.
Coolest invention - Ok the smart answer here would be to say Capsule houses because i'd love to just drop a house where ever i felt like living. But the answer my heart wants to give is the Micro band.
Favorite form of Cell - Lil grubby larvae form Cell is adorbs. Imperfect is literally the coolest fucking design. I love Semi-perfect in an ugly way. Perfect is chef's kiss. I love Cell.
Favorite form of Buu - The one where he doesn't exist. Fuck Buu.
Why do you love Dragonball? - Oh god where do I begin? As a kid growing up mostly alone with a basic cable tv Dragonball was HUGE for me. This was my escape, to feel like I could go somewhere different, see incredible things, maybe even be someone else if I really wanted to. This was the thing I looked forward to every week. These adventures were inspirational, empowering. I felt like I was there, on the sidelines, in the background, cheering on my heroes as they triumphed. At the time I was the one lil black girl in a majorly white area. Goku was the weird kid with a tail. I felt like we could get along, pulled together by that universal "we're the odd ones out" feeling and be friends. When I saw Goku get more and more friends, it felt like they all became my friends too. These were my friends. It felt like I grew as they grew. I laughed when they laughed I cried when they cried. I feel like Dragonball might have shaped me as a person if I'm honest. Not fully sure how, but I couldn't imagine my life without it. Over 20 years later I'm still here. It's never left me and I know I'll never leave it. Even when it does dumbass shit that makes no sense (Future Trunks and Future Mai i am so sorry y'all fucking deserved so much better oh my lord).
