In Hagerstown, MD: SWEET Trained pup
Meet “Scrappy”, he is a one-year-old yellow Lab/ German Shepherd mix.
Super smart and a people pleaser in a 50lb package. Fully vetted (neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm prevention and microchipped). Scrappy is ready to play beautifully with dogs of all sizes, kids and even cats! Loves everyone he meets.
House, crate and leash trained.
The only thing wrong with this angel is his name.
He only has a few days as their apartment landlord does not allow pets. He is located in Hagerstown Md.

susie, 2001-2016. apologies for the bad photos — if she were still here i would take some better ones! these are all that i could scrounge of the ole childhood dog.
we received her as a puppy in may 2001. the people we got her from claimed “her grandma was a wolf.” i personally have my doubts, but i thought it would be neat to have someone with a more experienced eye take a look!
personality-wise she was very dedicated to her people, wary of strangers (especially men), and patient with children. she absolutely loathed other dogs — her hackles were always up around them and she would foam at the mouth from stress.
i know she’s almost definitely a GSD mix, but what else?! definitely regretting not getting some kind of dna testing done when i had the chance!
oh yes, puppy pic as well if this will help in any way! (im the child and im 24 now so no worries on minor privacy lol)
Aww! She's so sweet! She's not a wolfdog, but definitely a GSD or GSD mix. She lacks a lot of wolfy characteristics, and just screams GSD to me. Very cute!

In Baltimore City, MD: BARCS is out of dog space and has numerous shepherd mixes in need - BARCS, Baltimore MD
- Rescue Needed -
Over the past couple of weeks, BARCS has taken in a large number of strayed and surrendered dogs and are currently overcapacity- meaning we have more dogs than we have open kennels. On top of that, we are the largest open-admission shelter in Maryland and are still receiving new animals every single day.
We have dogs available on our website, as well as ones available for rescue-only that you may not see on our website. We have such a variety of personalities, ages, and energy levels- of all different sizes and colors, too!
If you have space to take in any dogs- even if it's just one or a few- please let us know!

“I do! I have two dogs. Cami is a 9 month old German shepherd mix, and baby Shae is a three week old Rottweiler puppy. Both were given to me to adopt. Cami is from a shelter. I got her when she was 12 weeks old, and Shae is a runt who was abandoned by her mother that I got earlier this week.”
