Bro fuck genshin shippers on tiktok, twitter, and Pinterest who always try to ruin each other’s fun. I’ve noticed this increasing behaviour on all these platforms where shippers try to invalidate each other’s ships by saying stupid shit like:

‘They haven’t even met’

‘They hate each other’

‘They’re just friends’

‘They’re enemies’

‘____ship is better’

Like??????? Genshin has to be these mfs first fandom ever cuz how tf can someone be so ignorant????????

Since when have fans needed a ‘reason’ to ship characters????? Since when did we create this weird fucking expectation that our ships have to adhere to the canonical material??? Shipping is for fun. It’s based on the FANS imagination. If fans dgaf about what goes on in canon, then that’s their choice and you have no right to tell them that they’re wrong. I’m so irritated with all these shippers on tiktok and twitter. They turn everything so serious and treat fictional content like actual historical shit that needs to be followed with great detail…like what the actual fuck I hate these mfs so much

If you wanna base your ships strictly based on what’s canon, then that’s your business but don’t go expecting everyone else to limit their imagination and creativity. alright everyone hear me out. they would be the most autistic power couple

first of all, they simply would not piss each other off. i rest my case

jk i have more shit to spew. they have so much in common it’s insane—the autism runs rampant through their veins

they would just fucking get each other you know ?? i cant stop thinking about how lynette literally uses “robotic” language to describe her energy levels and sometimes even fucking pretends she’s a puppet or doesnt deny rumors about that because it helps her avoid social interaction. her idea of a good time is recharging by petting cats and drinking tea. like holy autism

kuni would probably think she’s chill and maybe the least annoying person he’s ever met because she just minds her business, speaks with honesty, does not engage in small talk, and generally doesnt give a shit what he thinks. and that’s kind of really amazing for him because that means he doesnt have to put on a show. she’s not concerned with offending him, and she pretty much doesn’t ever take offense at things he says, so he neither has to worry about his words nor her perception of him.

they can sit and do nothing together. they can drink bitter tea and say nothing and pet cats and be content while he works on his thesis. they dont assume anything unspoken, they communicate if they want to say something, they dont have to worry about mysterious underlying social rules with each other, they dont have to sugarcoat anything.

basically what im trying to say is they share a brain cell

both concerned with protection, afraid of losing people/harm coming to their loved ones

lynette is incredibly strong and resilient, but that doesn’t change the fact that she was a victim, and the people who know what happened to her (like lyney) (and in this hc, wanderer :3) would protect her so fiercely like aaaa idk if it’s just me projecting but i just really love the idea of them clinging to each other because they are so desperate to protect each other and aauauauayau heheaheheahah the angst

they might (MIGHT, im stretching but hear me out) know each other/have heard of each other because fatui (i think at the very least lynette would have certainly known about scaramouche as a harbinger, and it’s not too likely he’d have heard about her specifically, but he would probably be aware that the knave is the “father” of the house of hearth, so he’d be familiar with her affiliation in that way)

so anyways all i can think about lately is them growing close to each other and then being basically telepathic

like they just know how the other is feeling at any time and since they share many of the same feelings about people and socializing, they would just get each other and know what the other needs like AAAH I CANT FUCKING ARTICULATE WHAT I MEAN EXACTLY AND ITS SO FRUSTRATING I JUST. I THINK THEY WOULD UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER AND. YEAH. FUCK

Fine I will talk about Scarina (these guys cause none of my mutuals do Genshin except KEVIN)

Basically, Furina is a false god. She was assigned to be a god by the real hydro archon, Focalors. However, they are, essentially, the same person in seperate bodies. For 500 years, she upheld this role. She was the god Focalors, not the human Furina. Nobody could know she was faking her godhood, or the nation would fall. Scaramouche is also a false god. He was created as a puppet by the electro archon, Raiden Ei, to become the next electro archon. But she decided to "set him free" and after this, he experienced three betrayals that led him to believe humans were untrustworthy. After this, he joined the Fatui and became one of the harbingers. He was experimented on horribly, up until he was transported to Sumeru to become the false god in the place of Lesser Lord Kusanali. This failed, and he instead joined the Akademiya as a student. Notice any parallels? They're also both the only characters to have recieved visions on-screen. Furina recieving a Hydro vision from the Hydro Dragon, and Scaramouche recieving an Anemo vision.

They've also both become travelers after becoming "human." Scaramouche goes by "Wanderer" and pretty much just wanders. Furina has been wandering around Fontaine, enjoying her humanity for the first time. They are soooo parallels

at this point it’s like they’re not even trying to make razor and bennett out as these guys that just kind of chill time to time, they’re literally making them each other’s worlds because when we talked to Bennett in the dragonspine event paimon really just said “okay but where’s razor huh” she can’t even separate them in her mind and like when razors event happened they just needed Bennett to show up and bring him a flower it could’ve been anything but it was a plant and who gives plants that look like flowers to each other huh? couples. people in love. people like razor and bennett.

they started off slow with it like okay they’ll have some voice lines about each other and some references to them maybe being friends in birthday art and stuff, and then they were just like “let’s make Bennett basically write a love poem for razor and proceed to have them spend the rest of windblume, the festival of love, together” and then they just kept it going.

look at them now. it’s like they can’t stand not being within a mile radius from each other because literally like most of the time we see them they’re just together. razor event? throw in bennett. genshin animal video? throw in dog razor and weasel? bennett together. web event? throw in razor and bennett holding hands. razors birthday art? throw in a gift from bennett. lantern rite promotional video? throw in razor and bennett. windblume? throw in razor and bennett. bilibili official art? throw in razor and bennett. probably more examples that I just can’t remember.

kaebedo - agh like so first of all: the pining. like i bet these bitches were staring at each other in the halls of the favonius building and every time kaeya would drop off klee with albedo they would just stare at each other a little too long and klee would be like "uh guys?"

established relationship i feel like kaeya's love language is gift giving and albedo's love language is acts of service. they leave each other little flowers or notes by their doors/on their desks during their days <3

kaeya's really touchy but respects albedo's space and knows he doesn't like a lot of that. but when albedo initiates the touch kaeya goes fucking bonkers

chili/tartali/zhongchi - ok so childe fell first and MUCH harder than zhongli did. but zhongli did catch feelings after a bit and was like "of course it had to be the rascal from snezhnaya. of course." established relationship: zhongli gives childe massages a lot because he's always sore from fighting :> and at first childe was self conscious bc he has a lot of scars (i also headcanon childe has moles/freckles all over his body) which he was nervous about zhongli seeing but zhongli just like completely affirmed him that he was beautiful <333

childe's love language is physical touch and zhongli's love language is gift giving :)))

heikazu/kazuhei - so like. hc heizou intentionally pretended to not figure out kazuha's case when he was a fugitive because he was too pretty to be arrested :pleading eyes: and like after the vision hunt decree is over they start to talk and theY PINE SO FUCKING HARD. VERY HIGH LEVELS OF PINING ALERT ALERT

i think kazuha would confess first through a poem and despite heizou being smart he can't get this poem through his dummy thicc skull and didn't even realize he was confessed to until months later lol. yada yada yada they confess they kiss and they date. and despite their relationship being long-distance because kazuha's still a traveler, they always cherish the moments they do have together :> (both of their love languages are quality time)

thomato - these gays. THESE GAY PEOPLE. so like. they both fell hard but i think ayato fell first tbh. but he was like in denial about it cuz yk "oh he's my housekeeper" but he just couldn't stop thinking about thoma and gave in to his feelings heheh established relationship: thoma calls ayato by his name in private and "my lord" in public, but has slipped up once or twice and the other maids at the estate were like wtf lmao. hc thoma is even more caring and devoted as before and ayato makes sure he takes care of himself and rests properly :) and when thoma gets sick, ayato forces him to stay in bed and just spoils him with love and care eheheheeh

ayato's love language is physical touch and thoma's love language is acts of service. ayato's may come as a surprise but i feel like this man is so unbelievably touch starved that as soon as the two of them are in private ayato immediately goes to hug/cuddle with thoma lol

kavetham/haikaveh - and they were roommates.

so. alhaitham originally hated having kaveh around but eventually got used to and even enjoyed his company (he'd never admit it, of course) but they both have their routines - kaveh makes coffee in the morning for the both of them, and despite alhaitham never allowing anyone else to make coffee for him, he lets kaveh because kaveh knows exactly how he likes it. one morning when kaveh had to leave early, he left alhaitham's coffee on his nightstand for him :> hc they confessed in the middle of an argument, like "IT'S BECAUSE I LOVE YOU, OKAY?" and hilarity ensues.

alhaitham's love language is acts of service and kaveh's love language is words of affirmation. haitham will write "i love you" super small on the bottoms of kaveh's sketches just to see if he notices ehheh

cynonari/cynari - these two. cyno definitely fell first and has been pining since like their akademiya days lol. cyno kept visiting tighnari constantly in avidya and it got to the point where tighnari asked him why he visited so much and cyno simply said "because i love you" and that was that lots of sleepy cuddles together, late night chats, long tcg games ~

cyno's love language is words of affirmation and tighnari's love language is physical touch. tighnari just always wants to hold cyno's hand or let him touch his ears/tail. tighnari will randomly say "i love you" whenever they're doing literally anything together, and it always catches cyno offguard lol
