the fun thing about the genetics is that you can get some interestingly colored offspring out of it

in vanilla minecraft, breeding a cyan sheep and an orange sheep will get you a lamb which is either cyan or orange

using the complex sheep genetics, breeding a cyan (bbgg) sheep and an orange (rryy) sheep could get you...

let's see, three distinct gametes from each parent means 9 possible genotypes, times six possible subselrctions for presentation... 54 possible selections (including shuffled duplicates), and some selections are then split 50/50 on presentation, though of course many of these selections will look alike

a red sheep (bg rr) (bb rr) (gg rr) (bg rr) (gg rr) (bg ry) (gg ry)

an orange sheep (bg ry) (bb ry) (gg ry)

don't count genotypes to determine this, they don't all have the same likeliness to occur. counting ALL duplicates, each parent has 6 possible gametes (4 are identical), so there are 36 genotypes, times 6 presentations is 216

there are 3 ways to make cyan. the one with ry can use any of the four ry gametes, so that's six, times all of them can use any of the four bg gametes, so that's 24.

24 out of 216 lambs will be cyan. simplified, that's 1/9

I am not going to math out all of them right now, but 1 out of 9 sheep will be cyan, and there are 8 colors the sheep may be, ergo, cyan is less likely than at least one other color

i dearly love rimworld but i have to say it's pretty uncool that the advanced spacers and empire are made up exclusively of white people, and non-neanderthal tribes are the only faction with people of color (I'm pretty sure neanderthals are all white as well).

the only arguable exceptions are the highmates, genetically engineered sexy people who are blue and therefore technically colored, and the wasters, gray-skinned people limited to the hostile pirate factions that have a genetic reliance on cocaine.

i just don't think that part's particularly well thought out.

Another question, how do you think they play minecraft? What do they do first? What do they focus on? How good does their skin look? How good are they at building?

gene is good at playing minecraft but unfortunately he always focuses on building first and actually important things later. thankfully he usually plays with his friends so they all go gather resources while he builds them all a really cool house

zenix is really good at mining because he disappears into a cave for like four hours and then comes back with multiple stacks of diamonds somehow

sasha is pretty average at minecraft but also exclusively uses the chat or crouching to speak because theyre like 90% nonspeaking (unless it needs to yell at one of its friends for being dumb)

vylad turns his minecraft audio off and only uses the captions because they like to listen to music while they do anything. somehow its pretty good at playing minecraft even though theyll just be listening to Thirsty or something the entire time

laur enjoys playing pranks on her friends. theyre always pretty harmless, usually just mildly annoying, for example replacing one of the blocks in the floor of genes room with a magma block or something. other than that hes average at minecraft, although shes probably the worst at it out of the five

anyways i think they should all become minecraft youtubers because itd be funny

Hello! Did you lose everything about the littles for the Techy Space!Mom Rimworld AU or is there some information left? Also I love the art for the Obiyuki Kitty babies!

I did, unfortunately - since rimworld is actively being updated and having new content added, inbetween updates, mods and rollbacks, my save got corrupted :’)

That being said, I have started a new game, I just haven’t gotten around to illustrating it! I’ll grab a screenshot from the family tree as proof!

So there IS a new brood of Obiyuki kitty children out there, I just haven’t drawn them~ we started the game with Obi, Shirayuki and Lata, the playthrough has been running for twenty years now. Every title is game-generated, as are all deaths - I’m only filling in gaps when it comes to non-generated characters such as Obi’s in-game mom, as can be seen here.

Some kiddos are the same as the former flock, some are new~ and ofc Abi is from the royalty!au.

(I’m running three adjacent playthroughs at the same time=

- Lata, Obi, Shirayuki

- Mukaze, Torou, Itoya, Kazuki

- Ryuu, Garack, Shidan, Rona, Eugena, king Shenazard)
