Garnier's reaction to a new master performing very thorough and careful gun maintenance for him?

Garnier doesn't stop you from handling his gun. Even though he looks nervous enough to nearly be sick, he just nods and hands the weapon to you with no complaints.

What you're holding is... disturbing, to say the least.

It's hard to tell how a gun like this is even supposed to function. Hastily altered during a time when its owner needed a stronger weapon at any cost, no part of it was made with long-term function in mind. It wasn't designed to last.

And yet, Garnier still shudders when you touch it. His perpetual blank stare shifts to something a little more intense.

In no time at all, as you start working, you can tell that it's affecting him. His eyes go dilated and half-lidded, like he's struggling to keep them open. Every so often, he twitches.

"Does it feel alright?" you try to ask.

Garnier just whines, high-pitched and incoherent. His mouth moves like he's trying to talk, but nothing comes out.

"...nod if it's okay for me to keep going."

As soon as the order processes, he nods so quickly you're almost worried he's going to make himself dizzy.

More touching, then. More careful handling and attempts to make some parts of this ruined weapon a little less painful. Garnier just sits there, silently, with an expression of unreadable intensity. He's not stopping you, though, and that's as good a sign as any.

What I spent with some of my birthday money (haul)

I finally went shopping with some of my birthday money a couple of days ago!! So, why not share it with you guys.

Garnier BB Cream - Light

Because my school is strict and we're not allowed not use makeup, I decided to buy bb cream just to hide some blemishes and pimples.

Essence cover stick

I only use this on the weekends when I don't go the school but I it has the same purpose as the bb cream, but I just want a little more coverage on those days.

Essence mascara

I'll use the gel mascara when I have to go the school or when I want it to look like I have no mascara on. My lashes lay very flat so people can't see how long my lashes really are.

I'll use the maximum definition when I want more volume in my lashes and I'll also use it on weekends and not when I have school.

Essence nail polish

I bought the repair and care base coat because I regularly use nail polish and I don't want it to damage my nails.

And I bought pink ink because I really wanted a pink nail polish and I already have 2 purple ones from Essence. And I only use the coloured nail polishes on weekends.

This antique Magazine from 1881. Here we see the Opera in Monaco built by Garnier. Look at the small detail about the Jewels that the great Diva Adelina Patti (1843-1919) wearing at the Premiere of Traviata in this Operahouse 1881. The wonderful drawing from the Opera is also from that Magazine.
