Hayloft.
Yan Mahito x GN Reader.
Synopsis: Mahito wants to farm.
Warnings: Yandere themes, kidnapping, Mahito as his own warning, implied minor character death, and implications of violence/forced cannibalism.
Word Count: 800.
*~*~*~*
“Sounds fun! Looks so too!”
Mahito’s fingers tap and tap on the glass, unsurprisingly never leaving any fingerprints or smudges. He is a curse, after all. It makes sense. Not that you have to be reminded of such, with how little he knows of human culture, the world at large, or with how much he shapeshifts into a disembodied head at night to scare half-awake you.
You are both sitting on a giant bean bag in the shape of a green slime of all things that Mahito brought in an hour or so earlier. Mahito, as expected, takes up most of it with a malformed arm wrapped around your shoulders and back.
In your hands is a Nintendo Switch, the sticker case on the joycons, and the screen itself somewhat peeling off, but still the pink bunny and strawberry drawing designs stay intact.
The YouTube app is on, showing a playthrough of Stardew Valley. This part of the sewers had two bars of wifi from the little ramen place above it, something you are grateful for in some aspect. Because of it, you have one more piece of entertainment that is now Mahito bringing you back stale snacks and stuffed animals (that you pray to whatever higher power that they were not alive before Mahito got his hands on them) and nearly smothering you with hugs.
This is calming. When you just read the dialogue of the characters and listen to the music and pay attention to the satisfying sight of the farmer planting pumpkin seeds and apple tree saplings, it is calming, you are calm, Mahito is, at least partially, calm.
Mahito wanted something to watch today and brought the Nintendo Switch for you to play with as he simply observes. It could be worse, you reminded yourself before you attempted to protest, stopping yourself. It could be much worse. He could turn you into the Nintendo Switch, or much, much worse.
It can be so much worse. He can be so much worse. Your life as a captive can be so much worse. Everything can be so much worse. That is a line you never want to cross because everything can be so, so much worse than it already is.
Mahito raises his free hand, and you pause the video, just as you were taught to. He then points again at the field of two-dimensional, square-like crops all in multiple rows of hoed soil.
It’s springtime in the game, you think, from how the cherry trees have pink blossoms and petals falling onto nearby ground all around it.
Mahito counts with his fingertip, jumping from one plant to the next and then from one row to the next.
He whistles, and it makes you flinch because that is the same noise he makes whenever you scream, a reaction to when he brings a body part of someone you loved here, throwing it down beside the small dog bed you were given for good behavior, the blood staining the fabric as it falls with a grotesque, sort of plopping sound.
If Mahito wants to grow vegetables and fruit in the few places this sewer has sunlight, he can be your guest.
“Potato, cauliflower, garlic… green beans, kale, parsnips, rhubarb, strawberries…” He says each word like he has never heard of them before. Considering he has never really set foot in a grocery or convenience store for anything other than chips, it is not all that surprising. With another wave of his hand, you rewind it to the moment where the farmer character starts watering the seeds when they are freshly planted. He waits. So do you. “Sounds good! We can make some cheese cauliflower, parsnip soup, pizza, hashbrowns… just imagine it! Yum… I can just picture it now.”
With yet another wave of his hand, you stand up and so does he. Relief goes through you, like a ghost, both horrifying you and making you feel the smallest bit of hope that for once Mahito can act normal.
“M-Mahito, vegetables don’t grow that fast.” You say, looking down at the plate of baked fish with what smells like kale and garlic underneath, along with lemon and salt. “H-How-”
“It’s simply the power of love!” Mahito exclaims, inhaling loudly to smell the dish in front of you two. He sighs softly. “A pure demonstration of my love, all I do for you, and all I will do for you in the future.”
You could have sworn that there was the smallest voice from the fish if Mahito’s bragging of how much work went into making you a dish from Stardew Valley was not so loud.
Help me.
“Dig in, cutie!”
You would do anything for Mahito’s grin to not turn into a frown, so you pick up your fork with trembling, scarred hands.

High School Years More Cafeteria Food
Are you getting tired of the same boring cafeteria food for your high school teens?
I certainly was, so I made this More High School Cafeteria Food mod! It adds a handful of recipes from the University Life cafeteria station to your high school, including breakfast options for Sims who arrive at school hungry. I also adjusted the prices to be closer to the High School Years food prices--this price change will show up at your universities, too.
This mod requires University Life. (Sorry! It was a lot simpler to do it this way, because then I could be positive I wouldn't accidentally pull food from a DLC. There's a lot of duplicate salads...) DOWNLOAD @ SIMSFILESHARE simpishly_MoreHSCafeteriaFood-UL.package

You hadn't quite meant for the night to end this way, but you did nothing to stop it either.
You were invited to a friend's house for movies, food, and weed. You stocked up on snacks and your favourite strain and headed over, hoping you had enough food. You'd been smoking a lot more, and the munchies were what was making all your clothes tight.
Your friend was already stoned when you arrived, so you huff down a blunt as fast as possible. As soon as the dumb comedy movie goes on, you break open your snacks.
You don't stop eating the entire movie, alternating between salty and sweet, and of course copious amounts of soda. By the end of it you've eaten 2 family bags of chips, a sharable bag of candy, a whole package of cookies, and nearly 2 litres of soda. You look rounded out, and can feel the tautness in your gut, but the munchies cling tight.
Your friend wants another blunt and a food order before the next movie. You probably should have put in the order before smoking up, but you scroll through the app adding whatever your stoned little heart desires, which is a lot.
Now you're so high you feel like your floating, and the weed has convinced you the pain in your gut is extreme hunger, and not from being crammed full of junk food.
Your friend is just as afflicted, and has gotten each of you another bag of chips. You finish the 2L and hope the delivery shows up soon; dry mouth is a killer.
You're 15 minutes into the next movie when the food arrives. You both shuffle to the door, knowing one person can't carry everything.
The spread on the coffee table is a feast for hogs. Double dash has enabled your thc-fueled desires, so food from the chain pizza place and from McDonald's blanket the coffee table. Large cheese pizza, garlic breadsticks, wings, dessert pizza, fries from both locations, burgers, nuggets, milkshakes, pies, soda. Your stomach gurgles as you lean forward to dig in.
The next hour and 30 minutes are a haze of gorging. By the end of the movie, both of you have undone your pants and your guts are hanging out of your shirts. There's still food left, but leaning forward is far too much movement for your overtaxed middle.
You feel heavy. Heavy from the blanket of the high, and absolutely massive from the thousands of calories you just scarfed down. Your belly groans, and you can't stop burping. You rub your belly, moaning a little, the sensation of high belly rubs over a stuffed gut sending you to euphoric bliss.
As the credits roll, your friend manages to heave themself to their feet, a string of belches getting dislodged in the process. They hand you yet another blunt and waddle off to the bathroom. Too stoned to think about it, you light up and puff away, melting into the couch, becoming dumb, happy, and oh so suggestable.
You're just about done the roach when your buddy comes back. They move the food onto the couch beside you, and you feel like you could eat again, despite the fact you're struggling to breathe around your belly.
They put on another stupid movie and pull you to lean against them. You do so happily, their warmth lulling you to a comfortable bliss.
They start rubbing your gut, making you burp. Soon they're holding the leftover breadsticks to your mouth, and you're mindlessly chewing away. You're so far gone you can't register what's happening. The food never stops coming, and you never turn away, not even when it feels like you have to fight to swallow and keep it down.
By the end of the 3rd movie, you're listless. All you can do is moan and burp, your ability to talk zapped by weed and food coma. Your usually flabby gut is a rock solid dome with a good layer of pudge. You couldn't move if your life depended on it.
Your friend rubs your belly, working out the gas bubbles and lulling you to sleep. They prop you up just a little and pull a blanket over you.
As you drift off, gut gurgling up a storm, you think about how fun it'll be to do this all again next week, this time at your place.

can you please do 'what i eat in a day'? i know it's a strange ask but i'm really curious what people from other countries eat on daily basis:)
hi anon, I never thought that someone would be interested in this kind of "content" but ok lol also I want to say that I finally found the right way to eat that works for me; but anyone is different so please never judge other people's eating habits (I know that wasn't the intent of your message, like more in general…in real life) this is what I ate yesterday (on my free day, because today was less creative lol)
breakfast: I usually make a dairy-free smoothie with frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, orange juice, a little bit of honey and chia seeds. then I ate some cashews, almonds and a toast
lunch: brown rice with avocado, smoked salmon and lattuce, everything with a little bit of soy sauce and flax seeds. then I made some mint lemonade. i'm obsessed with lemonade and i'm lucky because I have 3 lemon trees (my babies, I love them so much! they are full of little blossoms right now, i'm so proud lol)
afternoon snack: I baked some lemon muffins (again, i'm obsessed) and they turned out delicious!
dinner: I made some hummus (chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt & smoked paprika… no garlic because I don't like it) with some fresh veggies and chips. I also ate some primosale cheese.
after dinner snack: some chocolate from my easter eggs (I still have most of it lol)
and that's all!

Maybe it's weird, but I have accepted that at least once a year, usually in the winter, I will make a meal that is entirely white or beige or brown. This time, it was creamy mac & cheese, life-changing roasted cauliflower with garlic everything bagel seasoning, and miso soup with daikon, cabbage, and leeks. So delicious! So monochrome. Recipes (such as they are) behind the cut.
Cauliflower: Pre-heat the oven to 250C and chop the cauliflower into large pieces. Dress with plenty of olive oil, salt, and pepper, transfer to a dish, and roast covered in foil for 5~10 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 210, remove the foil, and cook another 5~10 minutes. (Or, if you don't have a Japanese oven that drops the temp to 210 automatically "for your safety" (😑), enjoy your freedom.) Turn off the heat and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning (mine has poppy seeds and roast garlic chips). Toss to mix. Let sit I. The oven until ready to serve. Lose your mind eating--this is SO good.
*If you’re making everything, while the oven is preheating, boil the water for the pasta and the soup.
Soup: Boil water and add dashi powder. Peel daikon and slice into half moons. Chop cabbage into chunks, separating the ribs and the leaves. Chop leek into thick diagonal slices. Add daikon, cabbage ribs, and leek to the boiling water. Once tender, add the cabbage leaves. If making ahead, turn off the heat when the cabbage leaves are tender. Dissolve miso paste into the liquid when ready to serve.
Mac & cheese: Boil water for pasta. When the pasta is 5 minutes from done, in a separate pan, make a light roux. When the texture is right, add a splash of milk and mix thoroughly. Add more milk until you have enough liquid to create a sauce for the pasta. Season to taste with salt, pepper, powdered mustard, a dash of nutmeg, cheesy seasoning if you have it, and chili pepper (I used smoked ghost pepper). Add shredded cheese gradually and mix until desired texture/taste is reached. Drain and add pasta, stir to coat.

Life Updates and Such...
Soooo.... many things! At the moment, I've finally pulled myself somewhat out of the doldrums caused by lack-of-job + job-search-sucks and am making all the preparations for celebrating the end of this year and the start of a new one.
I think I've binged something like 30+ anime series in the last month or so, along with reading many many books.
Today, I've finally got some bots working in the Creator's Cave discord, to make things a bit easier there. There are more updates I still need to do, but it's a start.
My hope for this week, is that in addition to my preparations for New Year's, I'll be able to actually finish my project of turning some of my flower photos into TS3 art. No promises, but I'm hopeful.
Below the cut, for the curious or nosy, the menu and preparations for New Year's.

Vegan/Vegetarian shopping list:
Pre Made salad bags (it’s a lot cheaper to just buy bagged salad and add to it, then buying a bunch of ingredients that will go bad if not used)
Make a list of fruits and vegetables that you like and get them (some times if you get the funky shaped ones you get a few cents off, even if you don’t that stops the funky shaped produce from being tossed)
Nut butters (most almond and peanut butters are vegan, jelly and Jams aren’t because they’re made with gelatin)
Bread, check the ingredients because a lot of breads are accidentally vegan/vegetarian ( Vegetarian/Vegan (link) Sandwiches will be your best friend)
Pasta (like bread a lot of pasta is accidentally vegan, CHECK THE INGREDIENTS)
Rice and beans are some of the cheapest things to buy, buy them dry and you can have them for a while in your pantry
Google vegan ramen, (if you’re like me and love spicy ramen then you’ll be happy to know Samyang 2x spicy hot chicken flavor Ramen in the red pack is VEGAN they use artificial chicken flavor rather then animal products. Vegan Kimchi regular and spicy is a lot easier to find then you may think just look for ones without fish sauce and shrimp)
Tofu (tofu is very versatile and it’s great source of vegan/vegetarian protein made from soy, it takes flavor beautifully and it’s relatively cheap firm/extra firm is best)
Cheese (there are so many vegan cheese options, for grated parmigiana follow your heart has both grated and shredded, Violife has a block. Violife has the best shredded substitutes, and singles. Daiya is a little weird in my opinion however they’re cheddar dairy free Mac and cheese is amazing (you just gotta use different pasta then it comes with)
Meat substitutes ( We’ve come a long way with decent vegan meat substitutes, beyond meat makes a whole variety of plant based meat substitutes that are very tasty especially if you’re still craving that meaty texture. Impossible meat substitutes also has amazing plant based meat substitutes, Impossible also has vegan chicken nuggets that tastes like McDonald’s and even have dino shaped ones. Light life has everything from vegan sausage crumbles to Bacon, the vegan bacon and hot dogs are amazing)
Eggs (just egg and simply egg are planted based substitutes for eggs, they’re liquid like an egg beater but can be used in place of eggs from a scramble to a baking ingredient)
Dairy (Vegan milk/coffee creamer you got options coconut, almond, soy, oat, pea protein. Pick what you like best. Personally California farms Oat milk in original and California farms oat vanilla creamer are my favorites. I’ll throw cream cheese and Yogurt in here as well Kite Hill regular and Strawberry cream cheese are my favorite, Kite Hill blue berry, and Strawberry vegan yogurt are my favorite. MIYOKO’S vegan butter)
Snacks (Lenny and Larry’s plant based chocolate chip cookies, Spudsy sweet potato puffs they have a million different flavors I like the hot fries. Vegan rob’s dragon puffs these are the vegan equivalent to hot Cheeto puffs but without the red dye 40. Vegan rob’s also has cheese puffs)
Sauces (Anne’s goddess dressing is very tangy, Diaya blue cheese and Caesar dressings are amazing, can be thick though, they also have ranch but I got a vegan homemade ranch recipe. Hot sauce, Franks, Cholula, Tabasco, and Tapatío are vegan. Ketchup& mustard are vegan. Hellmans and follow your heart have vegan mayonnaise,Sir Kingston’s and Follow your heart also have chipotle Mayo. Follow your heart also has vegan sour cream)
Seasonings (seasons you should have in your cabinet click here, the dollar tree sells all these for a dollar and most grocery stores sell adobo)

Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #123
Sometime after the events of yesterday, but before bed last night, J took me to the local food co-op. This is because some time ago, Br bought some boxed macaroni and cheese (henceforth shortened to mac-n-chz) that she thought was gluten-free, but wasn't. Br has a gluten allergy, but M, J, and I do not, so she gave us the boxed mac-n-chz.
It is unusual mac-n-chz, though, in that the cheese powder it comes with is made of goat's milk. Goat's milk is common in some parts of my world, but it's uncommon where I live. I don't know if you've ever had it, but I like it a lot; it has a stronger flavor than cow's milk - a bit more sour and savory, somehow. But some people really don't like it; those who don't like it would describe the flavor as "gamey", and I suppose that's fair. The sensory hardware that comes with inhabiting a flesh-vessel is different for everyone, and what is a pleasant sensory experience for someone can be an unpleasant sensory experience for someone else; it is the way of things.
I am fortunate to be one of the folks who does not dislike this flavor. So I thought to prepare the boxed mac-n-chz yesterday, because I felt awful about the bird and I thought eating something with a lot of cheese would help me feel a little better (this, too, is the way of things; I am a derpy autistic cheese goblin, after all - it is simply my nature). But the box said that it should be prepared with goat milk and goat butter. You usually can't find these things in an ordinary grocery store where I live. I was going to give up on preparing the boxed mac-n-chz yesterday, but then J encouraged me to go with him to the co-op; I guess, given my mental state, he probably thought it would have been good for me to get out of the house and get my mind off the bird. He was correct, as per usual.
…I ended up returning home with A LOT more than just goat's milk and goat's butter. I… miiiight have, in my half-numb, half-sad stupor, gotten like 3 containers of ice cream and several weird-looking potato chip flavors; I'll show you the ice cream I got tomorrow; I'm gonna put it in tea. But the potato chip flavors were "fried egg", "ham", "truffle", "garlic parmesan", and "ranch". By the time we got home, though, I had next to no energy left, so instead of preparing the mac-n-chz, J and I went to go visit Br, and that was a good time. Then we went home and watched the Fallout show with M, and that was also a good time.
…You might be pleased to know that I actually went to bed relatively on time last night. It's been a while since last that happened. I woke up feeling pretty good. I'm still really sad about the bird, of course, but I hope wherever its soul is now, it's having a fun time.
In light of yesterday's events, and in light of the fact that I didn't get to have mac-n-chz yesterday, and in light of the fact that I seem to be having some serious misgivings today about the fact that I am autistic (and therefore broadly considered creepy, unlikable, and generally socially unacceptable by default), I decided that today is an ice cream and mac-n-chz sort of day today. And… no, not in the same bowl, I promise, ahahahaha~!
I didn't eat any of the ice cream that I bought yesterday, though. No, as it turns out, my favorite bubble tea shop started serving ice cream just yesterday! Check it out:
Tumblr media
These flavors are Jasmine Green Tea, Ube, Earl Grey Tea, and Thai Tea. And I gotta say, they were all REALLY GOOD; good enough to get past the, "oh no, it's a cold thing, and cold things feel like fire on my flesh" glitch that my body carries. I was unable to pick a favorite because they were all equally fabulous!
Hey Sephiroth? Have any of your friends ever taken you out to go get ice cream? Do you like ice cream? If you do, then what flavors do you like best? I know you can't answer me, and that kinda sucks, but I'll ask anyway; you deserve to have folks in your life who know and are willing to consider your preference and experiences. You deserve to consider your own preferences and experiences; when is the last time you thought about your favorite foods and favorite people and favorite places to go, anyway? It's good to revisit the memories and the things in our lives that bring us joy from time to time.
After I got home, I made the mac-n-chz. Do you like mac-n-chz? Have you ever had it? Have you ever prepared it? Have you ever had someone prepare it for you? I don't know the answers to these, so I'll walk you through the process, just in case; it's very simple, and the simple things are often the best things!
You start by doing the dishes! As explained some number of letters ago, I have music playing so that my brain doesn't get spooked by the fact that I'm doing a household task and accidentally do an involuntary mental time travel to a time when failing to do a housetask well enough or fast enough was a punishable offense, haha...
Tumblr media
If you recall, this list I am using today is one that I reproduced on YouTube, just in case you might wanna give it a listen. But within this list, this item matches the inside of my mind most closely:
youtube
...And in case you're wondering why we do the dishes first, it's because the next step is to stick a pasta strainer in the sink, like this:
Tumblr media
From there, you gotta get an ordinary pot and fill it about 2/3rds of the way with water, like this:
Tumblr media
Then you gotta bring it to a boil. On my stove, it's easy; you just stick a lid on the pot and set the temperature of the burner to 9, and wait a little while:
Tumblr media
While waiting for that, we can check the ingredients and instructions on the box, like so:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...Often enough, you'll end up disregarding some of these. For example, I didn't measure out the water. I did use goat's milk and goat's butter in the specified amounts, yes, but I used whole goat milk and slightly salted goat butter:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
From there, we open the pasta box and take out the packets of powdered cheese:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Getting the cheese packet out of the box will make it easier to pour the noodles into the pot when the time comes!
On my stove, water takes about 20 minutes to boil, which is fine; it is common knowledge that this time passes quickly - as long as you're not watching the pot. That bit is very important; if you watch the pot, the time will instead move about as quickly as pouring molasses from a jar that has been left outside in the cold - which is to say, it won't. It's the law, and nobody knows why.
Oh hey, Sephiroth? Maybe you know why? You're over there experiencing quantum physics firsthand over at the Edge of Creation, right? Can you tell me why watched pots resist boiling? I wonder... Lemme know if you figure it out, okay?
In any case, you can put your noodles in the pot when the water reaches a rolling boil. A rolling boil looks like this:
Tumblr media
I set the kitchen timer for 9 minutes just like the box said:
Tumblr media
...Then I poured in the noodles!
Tumblr media
From there, you have to stir constantly for the whole 9 minutes, or else the noodles will clump together, or stick to the bottom of the pot. You can put oil in the water to prevent this, but then the sauce won't stick to the noodles, and that is not ideal. Once the timer is done, you taste-test one of the noodles to make sure it's good:
Tumblr media
9 minutes wasn't long enough to cook the noodles all the way through, so I gave it another 3 minutes; it was good after that.
The next step is to dump the contents of the pot into the strainer we prepared in the sink earlier. But this pot is kinda stupid (I need a new one) because the handles get really hot when you heat it up. So I put on my handy-dandy oven mitts:
Tumblr media
...Mine are really long because I am dyspraxic; the possibility of burning my forearms on the heating elements when I put things into the oven or take things out of the oven is a real concern. So it's best to protect my whole forearm instead of just my hands, so that way I don't get hurt. Besides, if I put on my oven mitts and also my onion-cutting-goggles while holding my ceramic chef's knife, I can cackle maniacally in the kitchen like a crazed scientist and accidentally scare the socks off of passers-by near my window, and that's always a nice bonus! 🤪🤣 (Speaking of disturbing passers-by near my kitchen window, I am remembering this one time, when J and I were in the kitchen, and he was heckling me about the fact that I need to eat more fruit, so just to be silly, I started eating a banana in the most wildly inappropriate way I possibly could, just as some poor gentleman was dropping off food that M ordered. The flabbergasted look on the man's face as he peered into our window was ABSOLUTELY. PRICELESS!! Ahahahahaaaa~! 🤣🤣🤣)
(But that's what you get for peering into people's windows, so no, I am absolutely not sorry!!! Not even the tiniest little bit!!! 😂😂😂)
Anyway! So I drained the pasta:
Tumblr media
From there, the bottom of the pot will still be warm, so you can use that to melt the butter; I am making two boxes of mac-n-chz, so we need 2 tablespoons of butter:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
...Two boxes of this mac-n-chz calls for 8 tablespoons of milk; that's the same thing as half a cup:
Tumblr media
Then you'll dump in the cheese packets, and use a whisk to make a sauce:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then, you dump your noodles in and mix 'em up with the sauce:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...Finally, we have the bowl of mac-n-chz that I very much wish I could give to you:
Tumblr media
...It's a simple and easy thing; not the fanciest. But it's still good. It's still wholesome. It's still full of love and joy. What I wouldn't give just to be able to hand you a bowl of this...
...Well, it is what it is. And all I can do is deal with it in the way that I know how. All I can do is write to you and hope that it gets through to you somehow...
...somehow...
...OH! I almost forgot!! On the way to do errands and get ice cream, the sky was really nice today, and I also saw a bumblebee! I know you like nature, so I thought to snap a couple pictures for you:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...ya know... just to remind you that the world is beautiful. Even when it's filled with senseless pain, even when people respond with rage and self-directed violence when you try to set a boundary, and even when your brain is being mean and trying to tell you that everything is hopeless. It's still beautiful when people tell you, directly or indirectly, that you don't belong, or that your words and the contents of your mind are less valuable than your physical vessel.
This world is still beautiful no matter how hard it tries to break you. And there is beauty within persisting, within refusing to stay on the ground, within rising up from your knees and choosing to live in wholesome love and joy. There is beauty within counting on the people around you and seeing through eyes other than your own when you can't muster up the strength by yourself.
Sephiroth, please don't give up. Because, yes, I know there's violence and greed and bloodshed and unimaginable amounts of suffering in this place. But there's also bumblebees and mac-n-chz and ice cream and tea and sunshine and the sky, and people who would do anything to give you these things, if only they could. And these things are worth fighting for. You just gotta open your eyes and set them on a new horizon.
I'll be right here until you come back, okay? I'll keep being right here, calling out to you, singing you a little song, and thinking of you anytime I get to experience wholesome, beautiful things. I'll be waiting right here, no matter how long it takes.
I love you, and I'll write again soon. Please stay safe.
Your friend, Lumine

I should really list my safe foods so here I go - These foods I almost always will eat. Sometimes there are days where the preference against them is so strong that I will physically gag upon just smelling them but it is a rare few foods that that happens

CURRENTLY OUT OF IDEAS BUT THIS IS ALREADY KINDA MASSIVE I THINK-? There are other foods I do like but aren't really an always thing. I used to be a looooott pickier when I was little, but before I even had any idea about being autistic, father dearest told me to at least give new foods a try and not just refuse everything, and I heeded that advice. I'm willing to try foods if they look particularly appetizing, buuuut most of the time it ends up being okay the first 2 bites and then it's bad to me
OKAY BYEEEE I'M MAINLY USING THIS AS REFERENCES TO MAKE LIFE EASIER FOR ME AND MY RELATIVESSSS

grocery list time~
literally just get these things if you want a vegan low cal life, because you can control portions and make things you enjoy eating with less calories- i made some example recipes under the list:
coffee.
SPICES. please make the investment into SPICES!
->continuation of spices, heres a basic list- cocoa powder, cinnamon, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, veggie bouillon powder/cubes, salt, pepper, lemon pepper, etc (you can find more online but please dont forget it)
->and simple sauces like soy sauce, basic hot sauce, mustard, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, etc.
stevia or agave fruit sweetener. (please make sure whatever you choose you dont buy any sweetener with aspartame!!)
dairy free yogurt (i’ve heard coconut is good)
dairy free butter (earthbalance is my fav by far)
-> you could also make due with olive oil (cooking)
1st milk for normal stuff- unsweet cashew milk or unsweet creamy almond milk
->2nd milk for cooking- i suggest soymilk but creamy coconutmilk works good too
tofu. extra firm and silky work for different things (meat substitutes, egg substitute, diff. milk products substitutes) get either/both
carrots, mushrooms, chickpeas, and cauliflower all make good meat substitutes (bacon, chicken nuggets, pulled pork, etc) if cooked properly
OATS! plain oats are soooo versatile (used as flour, cereal, granola, crust, etc)
ricecakes (i use it as replacement for toast)
Pumpkin or sweet potato (in NO SYRUP canned form, very good for cooking low cal desserts or protein bars)
apple sauce (used for cooking and just yum- can be an egg substitute)
low cal noodle types- chickpea, edamame, shirataki, konjac, cauliflower, zucchini, spaghetti squash, and i think miracle noodle
literally any and all veggies and fruits- but a reminder of basics are broccoli, cucumber, onions, spinach, beets, eggplant, tomato, zucchini, potato, apple, banana, grapes, oranges, pineapple, strawberries, watermelon, mango, etc
WARNING ⚠️ be careful of sugar free drink flavor packets as they contain aspartame and other strange ingredients that ppl have complained of side effects- i would suggest to steer clear of many of the packets and go for a large unsweetened lemonade or fruit punch bin of flavoring so you can make it yourself. please check ingredients for health reasons.
-> HOWEVER, drinks like olipop, simple truth organic, waterloo, and zevia all have flavored water/sparkling water/cola drinks that are aspartame free.
I highlighted things that i think are really important
Veggie dip: yogurt, seasoning spices (ranch seasoning is goated), and a tbsp or lemon or soysauc, all mixed and best used as a “veggie chip” dip, like baked cucumber chips
Literally any cake/protein bar: oats blended, protein powder, 1/2cup apple sauce OR mashed banana, some milk, and whatever toppings you like
Granola: oats, chia seeds, cut up fruit pieces, and maple syrup or honey for binding. mix in bag, bake on baking sheet on pan.
Hot n sour soup: you can use hot n sour packet or make veggie bouillon and add hot sauce, soy sauce, and tsp chili powder. Then (to whichever mix you’ve made) add egg mixing around, and then add extra firm tofu in little cubes. Let the soup mix well and set a little while cooling.
Nicecream: freeze banana. add banana, tbsp of milk, 2 tbsp of yogurt, tbsp of sweetener, and a fruit of choice (a tbsp of protein powder also will help). blend with blender and then let it sit for a minute- add whatever you want on top
my best “toast”: seasalt ricecake, spread 1tbsp vegan cream cheese, and then spread 1.5 tbsp of organic raspberry jelly.

So, the drama currently going on in my life is Dave throwing a 3- month temper tantrum based on something I said months ago.
3 months ago, we were in a motel, and I was STILL sleeping on the floor. We had no food left besides bags of rice, cans of mixed veggies, and cans of diced tomatoes(plus salt, pepper, and garlic powder). Obviously, everyone was hungry. We only had a few dollars in the PayPal, and that money came from a renewed Subscription on my Ko-Fi.
At most, it was enough for rising-crust pizza at Walmart. Or... a tub of ice cream apparently.
See. Dave spent the past several hours complaining about there being no food and everything Bethy suggested was shot down cuz he had no money. Mom had no money. And there was less than $10 on PayPal, which was given through Ko-Fi, which PayPal took a portion of, so it was even less than the Subscription cost. And after hours of back and forth he suddenly sits up and goes, "Let's get ice cream."
So I, being the one with common sense and no small amount of annoyance, asked, "Why are we wasting money on ice cream after going hungry all day? Why would you buy ice cream instead of food?" (And his ass wonders why he can't lose weight? What is the obsession with ice cream ffs?)
Ever since then, he has been throwing a tantrum. Turns out, he HAD money of his own he just didn't want to use it personally. So, he drove out to get HIMSELF ice cream, and got like a pack of already-made cones, that he then ate all right there.
He was going to use MY MONEY to buy ice cream for everyone instead of getting like, stuff for PB&Js(which we could have afforded). He had some petty cash of his own on hand AFTER filling the gas tank, with more of MY MONEY.
His tantrum has extended all the way up to now. I've talked about how we've been able to do so much since we're not homeless anymore and we now have a stove. We've made homemade cheese sauce for mac n' cheese, homemade biscuits, homemade gravy, and homemade pasta. We've had chili, quesadillas, spaghetti & meatballs, baked chicken, ham & scalloped potatoes, hasselback potatoes, oatmeal, sausage gravy & biscuits, pancakes, rice, all sorts of canned veggies, soups, cereal, egg & cheese bagels, grilled cheese, PB&Js, lasagna, French Toast, and homemade Salisbury steak with a different homemade gravy.
Also, we made brownies. (And I'm gonna make choco chip cookies and Rice Krispy Treats soon.)
AND DAVE ATE NONE OF IT.
He whines about going hungry and having nothing to eat to anyone who will listen, but it's because of his own fragile ego. All cuz I had a problem with his plan on spending MY MONEY on shit we did not need; he's making it everyone else's problem.
(The biggest issue is that the lease is in his name this time so... mom doesn't want to start anything with him just to be safe. And ain't that a sad reality? We have to worry about potentially being kicked out if we offend him too much. After an entire year of me and donations from generous strangers keeping us afloat so we're not in a van all the time, we still can't fully relax cuz his ass is ungrateful. He's now telling people he's been working this entire time, and he will ignore all the good other people have done for us because it didn't come from him specifically.)

WORDS: 1156
Tumblr media
“Hello, hello, hello again, mama and mama’s family!” Ken Anderson greeted the family as we all trooped into the Paper News Theater, eager (as per usual) for the day of rehearsals for the new Ken Anderson musical. “How is everyone doing today?”
“Exhausted!” I told him with a smile as Peter quickly set up a collapsible play pen to dump the babies into in order to keep them all corralled and in one place. “The triplets are teething, as I’m quite sure you may have guessed already.”
The famed Broadway director only came over to affectionately pat the heads of all the tiny little babies before going straight over to chit chat with the pianist accompanist, who had just arrived moments after the Ratajczyk clan trooped in. I meanwhile, took the opportunity to fold myself onto the floor and begin to stretch, welcoming in Elizabeth and Katie as the two girls followed after their mommy.
After Ken Anderson had handed out new sheet music that he wanted us to run through that day, the cast began to bump our way through Disney’s The Nightmare Before Christmas- A Broadway Tale. And so, we all began to go over our lines and assigned songs with laughter and chatter in between.
When lunchtime rolled around, everyone found out that Ken Anderson had placed an order for at least two hundred boxes of pizzas with either pepperoni, all the meats, extreme cheese, or all the veggies toppings, at least eighty boxes of garlic bread, at least sixty boxes of chicken wings with blue cheese dressings, at least fifty boxes of parmesan zucchini sticks, wrapped meatball subs and individual sized cartons of pasta salad. For those with dietary restrictions, he had thoughtfully purchased dairy free, meat free or vegan boxes. I couldn’t help but notice that Elizabeth had requested a box of vegan prepared foods while Katie piled on all of the meats onto her plate.
“Elizabeth, you don’t like meat anymore?” I asked her in a soft voice as she came over to sit next to me.
“I’m trying to go vegan, mommy,” she explained, pulling apart her cheese pizza. “I really don’t enjoy the idea of me eating an animal that was bread to be slaughtered for human consumption.”
“Ah, okay.” This was the first time that I was hearing about this as Peter was feeding the babies each a skinny strip of cheese pizza.
“Though I’m not asking you to go out and buy vegan food for me- that stuff is expensive,” she continued to speak around bites of food. “But when I start to get an allowance, maybe I can chip into buying food and get a few vegan substitutes for me?”
“That sounds agreeable to me,” I agreed after a moment of thinking. “I do believe that there is a vegan supermarket nearby the house- we can run by there and have a look-see at what all they offer, how does that sound?”
“Hey sweetheart, I couldn’t help but overhear you,” Peter interjected, looking up from his plate, piled high with a generous amount of food. “But what do you think of the kids having their own bank accounts and cards where we can just deposit money into instead of just giving them cold, hard earned cash?”
“And teach them how to adult in their lives?” I hummed in an agreeing tone of voice. “Why hadn’t I thought of that?”
“Because even super mommies have fart days,” Elizabeth deadpanned.
Ken Anderson, who was passing by with his arms full of stand in props, dropped everything and had to sit down from laughing so hard.
“Oh Elizabeth? I hope you’re happy now,” I poked at the dragon. “You broke Ken Anderson.”
“It was my pleasure,” she said, getting another strong wheeze out from the African American man.
I shot my daughter a dirty look, telling her to calm down, which she did do with a sheepish squeak.
Katie finished eating her third plate of food, standing to go grab more.“That’s enough food now, mo stór,” I clucked at her. “You are not allowed to get urpy, you hear me?”
“Yes mommy,” she agreed, collecting plates from all around her as she trotted off to the trash can to go and dump everything.
All the tiny, little babies- Baby Tommy, Baby Noah, Baby Eve, Baby Mattie, Baby Teddy and Baby Jojo- were toddling all over inside the baby play pen, looking absolutely adorable as they bopped along to the piano music and babbled softly to themselves and their little baby dollies.
“Hey, I’m sorry, but can I please leave my son with you?”
I smiled sweetly at the ensemble member, who had been wrestling with a fussy little man for much of the rehearsal day, watching as she settled the cranky little man in with the Ratajczyk babies before rejoining the run through of ‘This is Halloween’ as the opening number.
“Boys and girls of every age Wouldn't you like to see something strange? Come with us and you will see This, our town of Halloween”
“Hall-a-weenie!” yelled out Baby Tommy, cackling gleefully as someone plucked him from the play pen and everyone began to worship him as though he was the Pumpkin King of Halloweentown.
Oh Baby Tommy, I thought as I saw Peter taping the adorable event with his cell phone. You are such an icon.
Mo stór, my dear, Irish Gaelic

I made a recipe for dinner last night out of my Bosh! Recipe book called Nice Spice Rice. It’s basically stir fried veggies and rice with a sauce made from garlic, ginger, chilli, maple syrup, soy sauce, peanut butter and lime juice. Vegan as you like 🌱
I cooked a big wok full because I didn’t want loads of half packs of veggies left over so I threw them all in. I thought it tasted amazing, but it turned out that H did not like it because he does not like peanut butter. (I knew he didn’t like it but thought in cooking might be ok). So now I have five portions of NSR left over, guess what I’ll be eating for the rest of the week 🤷‍♀️
This evening I made H and d3 turkey burgers with my new middle-aisle Aldi burger press purchase. The burger press worked well so all things considered, it was one of my better middle-aisle purchases. They ate turkey burgers in buns with lettuce, tomato and cheese, with homemade chips (fries 🇺🇸). The baby refused his pizza but ate a portion of homemade chips. I ate rice. What has my life come to cooking three different meals?
3 burgers in the freezer alongside 4 portions of NSR. Tomorrow it’s Bosh seaside pie, we’ll see how that goes down.
