im just gonna come out and say it. alicent has not done a single thing wrong on the show so far and everyone saying she 'betrayed' rhaenyra haven't been watching the same show as me. she was forced to spend time with the king by her father. she was never had a say in her marriage. viserys only married her because he wanted to spite the valyrians. rhaenyra is right for being upset, but taking it out constantly on alicent, who is also alone now, gets even more painful to watch when every single person in the fandom vilifies alicent.

alicent spending 3 years trying to explain what happened to rhaenyra, rhaenyra icing her out for, again, THREE years, alicent having a child at the age of 15 and being stuck in a loveless marriage with her father still having a hold over her, and being completely, utterly, alone...

Gonna be honest:

I love the feeling of reading fanfic for a fandom I know almost nothing about

It's so funny to me how sometimes I get absolutely shocked about plot points ... that are basic knowledge of the original material

And sometimes, the works give me so much joy that I want to see/read the original, wich led me to some of my favourite pieces of media (some of the I already knew by name, but was never interested in)

You know one thing thats pissing me off in House of The Dragon? The tremendous and terrible plot armor they gave to Criston Cole.

Jon Snow had one but he was a main character, as far as we knew, he could be the prince that was promise so yeah, we could deal with it. But sor Criston Cole? Dude is murdering and committing treason and NOTHING happens to him. He is pretty much like Joffrey “Baratheon”, doing wherever he wanted but worst because at least Joffrey was the king and even being the king theres things he wanted to do but didnt because people didnt let him.

Daemon is punished, Otto Hightower is punished, Harwin Strong is punished...All noble from very important House’s of Westeros but guess the one who is immune to that? Sor Criston Cole the Kingsguard from one wherever house
