So to change the subject. Looks like we will get another single before the album drops. Timberland/Timberlake? Do you think we will get one more or two more before August 5? I hope he has some promotion planned for this album-besides IG stories and tweets and Billboards. I’d love a IG live where we could ask questions or something along those lines. He hasn’t done much in way of fan interaction in awhile. I want him to talk about getting the artists together and all about the music process

All I can do is look to the past to answer your question: For FWBv1, he dropped Slide on 23 Feb, Heatstroke on 21 Mar, Rollin' on 12 May, Feels on 15 June, & Faking It on the same day the album dropped on 30 June.

This time, he has dropped two promo singles & only has a month left before the launch. Best guess, based on the previous pattern, we might expect 2 more. Maybe the track w/ Timbaland/Timberlake is coming this Friday & something compelling might arrive on the 22nd.

The bottom three albums of my personal top 10 albums of this year is a diverse menu filled with little gems. We have a latin pop album on the last place of this list, by no other than the queen of said genre: Shakira. A bilingual and quick but precise proyect in which we get moments for turning up at the club and great roadtrip-ish songs such as “La Bicicleta”. At number 9, however, there’s the experimental neo-disco adventure by Calvin Harris. This one strucks with consistant aestheticaly pleasing vibes that scream “let’s chill at the beach this afternoon”. The alternative album at number 8, orchestrated by the masterpiece creator Jack Antonoff, plays with old school sounds and simple production that makes it seem as tho it was just recorded at his house, which is actually true for the most part.

I recomend listening to all of these at least once before the year ends, the last two are more fit for summer while “Gone Now” is completely a winter/fall jam.

Why in the world did he make another Feels video? I hoped it was a set up for a performance. The videos for the other songs could be so cool.

I wonder why Ellie doesn't release her song with Calvin?! She recently did an interview and said their song together didn't fit Calvin's vibe right now and they'd release it after FWBv2. The world needs this Calvin & Ellie song. They need to give it to us. Selfish people, lol.

The last anon is so weird. I don't understand people who aren't open to hearing new music from new artists or artists you haven't heard from before. You can't be a true lover of music if you dismiss something before giving it a chance. Calvin has a gift, he knows what he's doing. I'm excited to hear Normani's song! That snippet we heard a few months ago sounded amazing!

Well, ya'know, some people liked FWBv1. On that basis, they might expect to hear more of the same. But, I DON'T!

I expect Calvin to do something amazingly different & introduce us to little-known artists like Jessie Reyez & Khalid. And he'll take known artists & present them in radically new ways like making John Legend a backup singer doing harmonies behind Snoop Dogg! I'm more than ready to hear Normani & those analog violins!

Potion sounds like it could be on FWB1 and I am not expecting part 2 to be much different. I hope I’m wrong so we will wait and see. I found it underwhelming and my expectations for part 2 aren’t much better. I wanted Calvin to take some risks and I’m afraid we will get more of the same after hearing Potion. I imagine we will get another single before the release and we will get a little more idea on the direction of #2

I think you know I have mixed feelings about FWBv1. But I do expect him to do something more & better just to top himself. I think fans of his music should wait & see what we get before yawning. I'm certainly not going to judge music I haven't heard yet.

I know you don’t enjoy the Vick and Calvin relationship due to the overlap and stuff… But once you get your mind around it and accept that things have changed I swear it will grow on you. We haven’t had this much content in years and let’s enjoy it while it last. I miss your attention to details and introspections on pictures,story,stalking things etc… Plus, I’d really like to know where he’s living lol

I don't think I'm gonna get over The Overlap™ but thanks for missing my input. Unfortunately, I am not the person who found his new girlfriend & properties. I always give credit to MACB for her amazing research. But right now, she can't even stand to listen to his music, much less search for anything about him. I respect her feelings & we still chat about Aarika.

Over the years, I've lost virtual friends because of Calvin. One of them was an original fan from 2007 & a great source. But when Calvin took Tinashe to Vegas for NYE, she got so upset she left the fandom & I lost her friendship.

The same thing happened with another chat buddy who got so pissed off about his shift to being the Anti-Celebrity™ & his lack of promotion for FWBv1, that she gave up on him & left me.

Besides lacking MACB's involvement, I'm not sure I would publish the address for whatever new house he buys in Hampstead Heath. It's one thing to post satellite photos of his compound in LA after Variety published the address & I could see it was highly secured. But quite another to give a street address in London. I don't like him but I don't hate him & wouldn't want to endanger him or Vick. We showed you the villa he bought on Ibiza but never provided it's address for that reason.

Vick is such a braggart she will surely show off the interior of their new house. If she does, I might have something to say about the decor but I don't know if I'll care enough to post it.

My Potion Review

Calvin succeeded in his intention to replicate the sound & mood of FWBv1 thereby creating a song that sounds derivative. I keep feeling like I've heard it before. I get no thrill or excitement from it. I'm grateful that Thug's intrusion is softly mumbled & I don't have to understand the crap he's saying. The track is tolerable but no cause for rejoicing.

I'm still waiting to hear what Calving did w/ the analog violins & hoping he doesn't ruin them.
