KYLE "GAZ" GARRICK - CALLING HIM BY HIS CODENAME

ONE SHOT (Idk what yall tumblranians call this stuff) You overheard the voice of someone on the other line while your boyfriend was taking a call. Hearing the name "Gaz" being passed around one too many times you assumed it was a nickname and used it on him.

"Kyle!" You shouted from down the hall with a basket of dirty laundry in hands. It was the weekend and instead of helping around the house like your boyfriend claimed he was going to do, he's sitting on his ass and playing video games.

"Kyle Garrick! Stop what you're doing and help me carry these baskets!" Calling again for the man who seemed to have selective hearing since he can ignore your calls but scream at the top of his lungs for healing to his friends in his game.

Seriously? He can't hear his own girlfriend call his full government name but can hear in game foosteps? "I should call your mother so she can drive down here and whoop your ass!" Marching down the hall to where your shared room with Kyle is. On weekends he's usually found here, playing his games.

Standing outside the doorway with basket in hand you stood waiting for him to acknowledge the fact that you DO need your boyfriend to help. He looked over to finally take notice towards your annoyed standing and staring. Giving you a quick smile and airy laugh.

"I'll be right with you after this game babe." He stared into the screen as he mashed buttons and twists joysticks. I'm about to whoop his ass personally. You thought to yourself.

"Kyle, I need your help now." You put the basket down. He continued to play his game and chat, with the big headset on his head it would be difficult to say he isn't deaf at this point. "GAZ!" You screamed at the man and he instantly threw the controller to the side and stood up.

Poor Gaz looked more terrified over you screaming at him so up close and personal than calling him by that nickname. "[Name], where'd you hear that..?" He put the headset down and shut off his game. Giving the man a cheeky smile and shrug you picked up the basket and turned out of the room.

"Now listen to what I'm telling you for once and help me unload these dirty clothes."

"Yes ma'am.."

I have a headcannon that at some point in his early robin days, Jason decided he wanted to be like Alfred and committed to drinking tea, using British slang and the accent while being robin.
