If you would like to know what the last post was about, it's this. The Exile Tarot by Chu Wei Huan is up for funding on Kickstarter. It's already funded, but this set of decks is so gorgeous. It's definitely a successor to the Monsoon Tarot, which is just easily one of my favorite decks.

The Exile Tarot, this time around, is a set of two different decks. One is the twilight-faced deck "Silent" edition where all the characters have no face, and depicts a "subconscious" sort of meaning, where the "Awakened" version of the deck shows the characters with faces and a "conscious" depiction.

Both are full 78-card decks with an additional 4 aces in each, they come in 3 different matching versions: Deluxe edition (standard tarot size), the tin edition (pocket size), and the mini edition.

If there is a story you wanna tell, but you don't think you will ever have the time or resources to organize and tell it ""properly"" as like...a novel or a comic or whatever, it can absolutely just be...a bunch of brain storm-y blog posts and sketches that you share and compile over time on your blog. That is still a story. It is still a format. In theory, it might not be the "best, most effective" format...but in practise, the best, most effective format is the one that is accessible enough to let you get your ideas and narratives out at all♡

And, yanno--it is just nice to be able to give folks some context for your characters n stuff :3c

#sorta like how not every drawing an artist makes needs to be a fully planned and rendered illustration #sometimes you just wanna sketch an idea and leave it as that.#sometimes it is just more fun that way.

So this was a upskill project of mine that I am HERE for.

I had to put the price up as this is literally the result of months of me messing around with illustrating and effects and so on--and I just realised I forgot to place Author Name same where (lol) as this was originally anthology inspired.

But as that can totally be added. Or it could be your anthology cover?

But I am secretly (or not so secretly really, more like LOUDLY) hoping someone turns this into a Snow White Retelling!!!

The Delos Tarot by Korean artist Delos/Delosnim is up for sale right now and you can get your hands on a legitimate copy from the artist. The deck is in its third edition and features almost-borderless art for this edition. Originally created back in 2017, Delos Tarot a fully illustrated 78-card deck in a tuck box with a little white book.

If you've been on any seller platforms in the past few years, you've probably seen the Delos Tarot, and it probably looks like this:

If you have it or you've bought it, there's a pretty insignificant chance that you got your hands on the real one. The market is absolutely saturated with fakes of the Delos tarot, and the only legitimate copies have flowed through very small collector groups, since this deck was not originally available internationally and was initially a pretty small print run. The fakes are smaller size than the original as well.

The third edition print run has options of the deck itself, or the deck with a velvet Delos-themed velvet pouch.
