While I always condone piracy from large corporations, it should never be the only means of watching a movie or series, since it both limits the audience and hurts the careers of those involved, especially with the absence of physical media releases and the attempt to seemingly erase all evidence of them from the internet.
The important thing to do now is continue to spread awareness and support of those series so that they remain in the public consciousness. That includes sharing torrents, making your own copies (preferably physical ones) and creating fan content so that more people know about them.
We shouldn’t have to deal with an entire generation of lost media just because some penny-pinching cunts on a stick decided that they’re not worth supporting anymore.

Seeing as how a #SaveRWBY campaign was recently launched, I'm making a contribution post of my own here.

I know it probably seems really fucking stupid because I'm 23, I'm a full grown adult, but cartoons are my special interest and I hate when studios act like cartoons especially are nothing and keep stupid live action shows that make no sense(Riverdale). I'm still mad about warner brothers purge of cartoons from hbo max last year and I will never get over Disney canceling the owl house just to see how popular it is now and be like "oh maybe that wasn't a good idea" and now Netflix canceling inside job. Also, maybe coincidentally, maybe not, but all of the shows being canceled/ purged are shows LOVED by neurodivergent people who can relate to the main characters because the main characters are also coded as ND

I started watching Rooster Teeth in middle school and it was very influential on who I am today. I fucking loved RvB, and Achievement Hunter is part of the reason Im into video games today.
While I haven’t really watched them in a couple years, the shutdown of the company feels like losing a close friend. Especially watching people like Geoff Ramsey and Jack Pattillo have to talk about the end of something they worked so hard to build is super difficult. Seeing Geoff cry was so so shocking and hard, especially after he was so often the spokesperson for the company when something bad happened.

Coyote vs. ACME was a movie me and my girlfriend were really looking forward to since we love Looney Tunes: Back in Action. Coyote vs. ACME would absolutely have the same love and passion. It would explore the potential three dimensionality of a long lasting character who deserved it just like Back in Action did with Daffy. It's really a shame that Warner Bros. just hates art...

But in all seriousness thank you RT. Everyone here is talking about what an impact you've had on them, but rooster teeth is more than that, we are all rooster teeth, everyone single fan, employee, even fans that became employees. You've changed the Internet, from basically inventing the web show in a time before youtube, to then shaping YouTube with things like let's play and the *many podcasts*.
Not to mention one of the reasons slow mo guys exists is cause Gavin needed a visa! Plus you've changed what an anime can be, you've had conventions on opposite sides of the globe, sold thousands of shirts that lie about grapes (😉) and made like 3 board games!21 years and it feels like so much more than that, and at the same time? It feels far to short.Thank you rooster teeth! (Also can I have my old account back now? Its been like 4 years)

I'm gonna level with ya here:
Is RWBY a perfect series? No, not really. Some of the writing choices could be a little better (Why does everyone get a backstory except for Jaune?), and sometimes the pacing can be a bit weird (V9 was AMAZING, but it felt like it was jumping from one place to another, especially towards the end). It has some issues—I admit that.
But do I think RWBY is a bad series? Oh, ABSOLUTELY not.
I genuinely feel that the good of RWBY outweighs the bad by a METRIC ton. It's gorgeously animated, has an absolutely STELLAR soundtrack, the story is spectacular (despite some hiccups here and there), the characters are amazing, and all in all, it's been an absolute HELL of a ride. I've been following the series since 2016, and I do not regret the time I've spent watching it at ALL. No other series has made me feel as emotionally attached to its world and characters as RWBY has. It has been the absolute best emotional rollercoaster ride of my life, and I wouldn't trade it away for the world. RWBY is, and always will be, my favorite series of all time.
And it truly DEVASTATES me that it may never get the conclusion it deserves.
I admire Kerry's determination to see this story get finished, but I won't deny that hope is not looking very bright. It truly breaks my heart to see this series in the state that it is. While it isn't flawless, it does NOT deserve to have all of this baggage attached to it. I sincerely hope from the bottom of my heart that Kerry and Miles find a new partner that is eager to work with them and finish the story they've written for us. These two have bent over backwards to bring us this series, and I can't thank them enough. And I especially can't thank the late Monty enough for bringing this series to life in the first place.
Thank you to EVERYONE in CRWBY. You gave me something that I truly love and adore. You gave me something that is irreplaceable to me. Wherever you guys end up next, I wish you the best of luck, and I thank you once again for creating this incredible series.
And a big FUCK YOU to David Zaslav and Warner Bros for potentially killing this passionate series, and for having the GALL to shut these people down without even bothering to inform them first. GO TO HELL.

"None of the shows and movies being axed for drawing large audiences." That's not what I heard!
I haven't gotten into Infinity Train, but from what I heard, it was one of the best shows ever to appear in the 2020s.
Hell, look at those who adore OK KO Let's Be Heroes! and all those 200 episodes of Sesame Street being removed. You know, the show parents watch with their children to help educate them!
I don't know what David Zaslav was thinking about doing this HBO and Discovery merge; and I get it, supply and demand, capitalism and all this bullshit, but here's the thing:
THESE SHOWS AND PROGRAMS COULD'VE GONE INTO DEBT IF IT WERE FOR HBO OR WARNER BROTHERS!
