ㅤㅤOf all the things he'd been able to claim as his over the past couple years, the bike that he stole his bike is definitely among his top three favorites. Being a speedster, he didn't need one -- but it was one of only a small amount of things to now truly call his own, and one of even fewer that were for more monetary reasons.
ㅤㅤGranted, this never stopped him from what would often be more reckless driving, as he did still always seek the adrenaline rush that came with high speeds and risky turns. Still, he'd never lost control of the vehicle -- at least, not yet.
ㅤㅤWith an unpredictable obstacle in the road, however -- that being in the form of a green hedgehog crossing at an unfortunately inopportune time -- Scourge has no choice but to try and quickly swerve out of the way to avoid a head-on collision. At such a speed, however, swerving could really only do so much. His back wheel does still clip the other, the subsequent loss of control causes the bike to flip. To keep from ending up rolling underneath it, he'd chosen to leap off towards the grass, rolling instead with the speed that left him only halfway making it into a spindash.
ㅤㅤThe sound of metal and casings of a perfectly good motorcycle breaking off and shredding further down the asphalt hurt far worse than the cuts and bruises he'd likely sustain from the desperate dive. Really, he's lucky he hadn't managed to break anything upon landing -- something he can probably only thank instinct and quick-thinking. Clamoring back onto his feet (wincing and groaning with a couple initial limps), chest heaves while eyes scan in search of what might remain of his bike -- eventually settling on the damaged vehicle laying further down the road.
ㅤㅤHands reaching upwards to drag down his face, fingertips recognize a sudden lack of another item he regularly treasures -- wherever his shades had landed, they sure weren't nearby him anymore (and likely, were no longer in one piece). Fingers curl quickly into fists, arms whipping back down by his sides. " Havoc fuckin'--- DAMMIT! " Sharply turning away from the scene, he begins searching for whoever it was that he'd hit, rage making him more concerned with making them pay for the losses rather than whether or not they were okay.
ㅤㅤ" DIDJA JUST ROLL IN FROM STUPID-VILLE, BUDDY? BETTER HAVE TH'GRIT OR TH'RINGS FOR TH'SHIT YA JUST COST ME, Y'DUMB MOTHERF--- "
ㅤㅤThe yell cuts abruptly as his voice dies in his throat. He hadn't been able to quite recognize the features of the other hedgehog before their collision, but as blue hues finally rest on them, he finally notices -- the green quills, the biker jacket, the red shades. Fur slowly stands on end as he realizes he's looking at another version of himself.

Tangle The Lemur
do I like them: I like her in practice, not so much in execution.
5 good qualities:
Her design is cute.
She has one of the better concepts for a character, compared to some of the other IDW members.
Prior to the flanderization, she actually was endearing.
She wasn't turned into Sally or Scourge, which is more than can be said for certain other females in this cast.
If it weren't for the IDW/Archie-related demands the fandom would make in the wake of it (see the #Rally4Sally crowd), I wouldn't inherently have a problem with Tangle appearing in the games, but only if she was greatly improved.
3 bad qualities:
Her clumsiness and overeagerness have been flanderized to the point of full-on stupidity. And since this is IDW, it's unlikely this will ever be addressed, let alone in a satisfying way.
Thanks to the aforementioned terrible writing, she's not a good friend to Whisper.
The crewmembers have been stretching like Mr. Fantastic in order to get the desired Twitter clout from the Tangle/Whisper relationship.
favourite episode/etc: Probably her introduction with Sonic and Blaze, since her flanderization hadn't fully set in yet.
otp: Tangle X good writing
brotp: Tangle X not guilt tripping your friends
ot3: Tangle X one half of her brain X the other half of her brain
notp: Tangle X the conspicuous pride flag in the background
best quote: "Whisper, Mimic is Among Us, let's show him the real super power of Fortnite dancing." (This is a real quote that she definitely said. It says it right here in the Encyclospeedia, a wonderful book with no factual errors whatsoever.)
head canon: @randomthefox's idea of Tangle thinking like a video game is funny to me, and isn't too farfetched for her IMO. So in an alternate world where she didn't fall victim to flanderization - and provided it wasn't too on-the-nose and "Haha I get the reference" - something like that could make for an amusing starting point for her to gradually evolve from.

i cannot believe the fortnite community doxxed an animator that finally made the locomotion animations any kind of fucking up-to-date and good because it made their stupid fucking building like 2% slower and their dumb fuckwit hands had to try to get used to something new. i fucking hate the internet so much sometimes it's a scourge.
