When you run alone, it’s difficult to take good photos or videos, but today the weather was so good that I decided to spend time on this and it looks like something good turned out.
One photo for now, the rest later. And at the same time, I’ll show off my new sports overalls, which I bought specifically for running and dancing.
Polyamorous Lake - I’m going back to my roots and making some watery pride flag art! Here’s one based on the older version of the polyamorous flag. I don’t like the colors as much on the flag, but I wanted to challenge myself and I like how the art turned out
My original art made in Procreate, image description in alt text.
This is my favourite lake. It is quite small, fed by a small brook, surrounded by a pine forest that still bears marks of the First World War - straight trenches, angular earthworks and large round pits, now covered in deep moss, blueberry bushes and pine needles. I like being able to observe history in my surroundings, makes it feel very real. The iron content in the water is very high here, and in the summer, it appears blood red against the skin, especially in direct sunlight. (I call it the Blood Lake in my head, even though it’s actually called Bottom Lake, which is not nearly as interesting.)
This was the first time I visited it in the winter, and the weather was perfect.
