Every now and then I think I'm kind of sleeping on classpect analysis, but also what you have to understand about me is that I'm way less enchanted by the act of defining classes and aspects and way moreso by how individual Characters contextualize their relationship with their aspects and assign meaning to it based on their experiences
Something that I always found striking about late Act 6 Kanaya was the way she recontextualizes her relationship with her aspect as something so specific to her and her own experiences. Something about the juxtaposition between Alt Calliope mapping out hard rules about her classpect, saying "This is what it means to be a Space player" "This is what it means to be X" while Kanaya talks about how her experiences formulated her own relationship with her classpect. It's a fascinating difference between them where I never think that the story tries to say that either of them are Wrong about how they view Space. But there's such an underappreciated depth there where Calliope is demonstrated to be somebody who's obsessed with rules, strict categorization, while Kanaya says "this is what my experiences have told me, this is what Space means to Me." And Alt Calliope saying things like Space players are inseparably tied to loneliness are interesting claims, but also putting these beliefs in context with each other you can just as easily see how Alt Calliope's views of space can be formulated by her lifelong (deathlong) experience with isolation.
I think a big reason that I always found it hard to engage with a lot of classpect analysis is that there's this insistence that classpects must have strict categories that define people, when throughout the comic we consistently see how things like aspects and classes mean different things to different people. The way that Kanaya, Calliope, and Jade all see Space and their relationship to it is so so different, I sort of wonder if they'd have any common ground if they actually discussed it between each other (or wrote their thoughts down and passed it around, as Calliope would undoubtedly dominate that conversation lol). The same goes for Rose and Vriska with Light, the Time players... I don't know, it's striking to me. I can understand why the rumored Hussie Classpect doc is supposedly only a sentence or so per classpect because what do you even say? When the variety of experiences is so broad among them, it's impossible to define Classpects cohesively. Alternatively, aspects are something strictly defined by the meaning that people (characters) assign to them

To address the big grey, candy corned horned elephant in the room. Yes I am a homosuck fan. I'm still mildly amused that people are so shocked that the nerds making animated shows, are into animated nerd shit? I've already been asked a few times so I've written out below what I think the Heeler's classpects would be.
HOWEVER unfortunately for all of you I am not only into Homestuck but am also a huge textual analysis nut for it. So before you can have dessert I'm going to use this as an excuse to lay out some of my fav pieces of writing regarding it. They sum up why I still have an immense reverence for this stupid piece of shit better than I could ever explain.
@hampermarketplace Why I can’t understand Homestuck
@some-triangles I’m trying to figure out why I like Davepetasprite so much.
@optimisticduelist2 & his wonderful YT channel
@mmmmalo is a never ending stream of interesting and intricate theories and I like to pretend I'm erudite enough to understand even half of them
There's too many artists still out there posting up and drawing extremely hard HS pics that I love to list out, but fruitegg has got to get a mention. Everything I attempt to do in my art when it comes to capturing the energy and attitude of living Aus she does far smarter and far funnier. It rules I have somehow fooled her into being my friend.
______
Alright done, here's what you wanted
Bandit: Bard of Hope Chilli: Mage of Hope Bluey: Knight of Void Bingo: Page of Light
Bandit & Chilli are straight forward enough. The thinking behind Bluey & Bingo is as follows. Doing a close reading of them as kids you could easily argue they're Breath/Hope players BUT. There used to be a few working theories around Hiveswap characters mistakenly imitating the wrong classpects. And though I don't think the girls are doing that, it feels to me like their youth is masquerading what their classpects would actually be.
As they're very clearly delineated active (Bluey) passive (Bingo) and so close as sisters, I reckon they'd be a full classpect pair. As much as I think Bluey would really suit Knight of Blood, there's ways Knight of Void would act as a perfect compliment to Bingo's Page of Light. A helpful, positive Knight of Void who protects her friends from despair, and is socially intelligent enough to weaponise people's unawareness/ignorance to her and her friends own advantage seems like a really exciting angle to analyse her through.
Finally, the only classpect I would bet my life on is Muffin being a Mage of Rage. 🤡

Hii :3 I was wondering if you did session analysis?? Ie like how would a session with both the knight of void and Page of doom go?? [Not an actual request] I figured Id ask before I sent one in lol
I don't, sorry. Sessions are just far, far too complicated, and that would just be writing your story for you. Figure out how you want to read those Classes and Aspects, how those characters would interact with or against each other, how they contribute to or hinder the session and the other players inside it (if there are any), and the angle you want to take on the story and gameplay itself. What are you trying to say with this story? What are you trying to say with these characters? How do these messages or themes interact with each other? Do they clash, do they work in tandem?
I think it's far more fun, enriching, and vulnerable to devise your own unique concepts, themes, and gimmicks that you're all passionate about than it is to get another guy to pen the foundation of your entire project. Figure out what it is that drives you to write this story and these characters- what the backbone of their character is, and the true overarching themes of the plot- and go. It can be simple, it can be grand. It can be "war is bad", it can be commenting on the way, I don't know... "Suburban nuclear family structures foster a cycle of loneliness and abuse", or something.
Classes and Aspects are a great magic system and a fantastic literary device, but the thing about them is that they're not necessarily everything. The magic of them isn't the important part- what they're defined as is. They inform you what a character values and interacts with the most (Aspect), and how they interact with that thing (Class). Everything else is purely a matter of fucking around and finding out, and building their powers around their character. Characters inform Classpects inform Character, which then informs Session, because the driving force of your narrative will do that.
Figure out your own drive for using your tools, what your tools are, and how you're gonna use them. Good luck, and have fun. The great part of Homestuck fanstories is that they truly write themselves the second you figure out your angle.

What do you think Foolish's classpect would be?
hmm I saw someone tag him as a Life Player because of the whole totem thing and I like that :]
The Life aspect is associated with positivity, healing... and also luxury - which are things q!Foolish has shkdgvckd. I'm also throwing in the 'healing' aspect in there with implications that that guy (in character) has lived for hundreds of years as a god (alongside q!BBH in a conversation they had) and has probably seen some shit. Same with q!Vegetta I believe so they be like gay bitches healing together through time and the wonders of life.
Class-wise analysis PURELY by attitude either a Sylph of Life or as Thief of Life- but I'm leaning more towards him being a Sylph. They are when one invites creation through/of Life, this life could be in his builds or others around him by proudly expressing his opinion on his Aspect. I think about Foolish's conversations with q!Slime often suggesting things that would help with his recovery from trauma. We know that he's trying to cheer him up, Foolish just does not fully understand Slime's feelings as he simply has not gone through those traumas.
FOOLISH: Listen, I understand it's quite tough. I don't really know exactly what you're going through - because basically everything that happened to you I was like the polar opposite [A conversation between Foolish and Slime after the guapoduo wedding] (I could tie this better with what I'm trying to say but ksdhvbdljv I'M COOKING i'm cooking)
Sidenote: I also think the concept of q!Foolish (everything good happens to him) being a Life player contrasting his ex q!Mariana (everything bad happens to him) being a Doom player is very funny to me wwwwww >w< (i also also want q!mariana back, come back bbg where are you :[ )

> Cemetrio: Classpect Scar and Cub
Welcome back to the Act 7 classpect analyses! My name is Ell, and I’ll be your host, as per usual. This week, we have... Scar and Cub!
Tumblr media
Scar: Witch of Heart Scar is a Witch of Heart, full stop. End of analysis. Thanks for reading!
In all seriousness, this was one of the first few classpects we locked in for the AU back when we began assigning god tiers for everyone. Scar just fits Witch of Heart so well!
Witches are the most active class excluding Lords; they twist and manipulate their aspect to their whim, rebelling against it in a way that benefits them. It’s what makes them one of the most OP classes actually, being able to shape and mould their aspect to their liking. Meanwhile, the Heart aspect concerns not just emotions and feelings, but also the “soul” — one’s identity and what makes them so unique, along with the personal passions and interests that define who they are. Combining that together, a Witch of Heart is someone who is capable of manipulating other people’s emotions and desires, getting them to do what the Witch wants them to do — an act that might sound malicious but may not be, depending on who the Witch of Heart is.
And isn’t that such a Scar thing? Especially when you view it from the lens of his actions in Third Life, when he was swindling people left and right, coaxing them into giving up their armour and other valuable tools for… what, paper? “Friendship points”? Scar was essentially wheedling other players into giving him stuff for free. And this can also be seen elsewhere, such as Season 7, when, according to Reshie, he sold “courage crystals” and the likes, along with other similar trinkets in Last Life.
Plus how many times has Scar evaded death in the Life Series through his charisma alone? The man reeks of charm and personality, with his smooth talking getting him out of many sticky situations. It’s not just his words too; Scar taking a leap of faith to stop the panda sanctuary from being burnt down in Double Life also works as a good example of him aligning with his aspect, because it’s an action spurred from pure recklessness — in comparison to the logical mindset of Mind players, that such a jump would most likely lead to surefire death — and one that paid off. Scar landed the jump, and by doing so, managed to impress everyone enough that they just… stopped burning down the sanctuary.
Going back to Scar’s class, his mayoral run in Season 7 feels rather reminiscent of the trademark qualities of a Witch. Witches are driven by change — something that spurs them; it’s why they twist their aspect to their liking, changing it without any destruction necessary. They can be hard-working people at best, driven to transform themselves and the world around them to suit their desires. Dig pointed out how Scar had concrete plans and ideas for the shopping district should he be elected as mayor. While other candidates had slogans, Scar had a vision — and it was this that got him elected in the end.
And going back to Scar’s aspect — we’re really flip-flopping around, aren’t we? Scar certainly does have that effect, huh? — another example of Scar being a Heart player — albeit a smaller instance at that — would be his builds and bases. Reshie pointed out that all of Scar’s bases have the goal of being immersive and setting a mood, and that he wants to give people good vibes (or should I say, a good time?) when they visit him. Which really does feel like a Heart thing to me, to appeal to one’s emotions and sense of wonder, spellbinding and mesmerising them with such a lovely atmosphere.
Like… Scar is just so goddamn charismatic, man. He could probably stare down the Black King — final boss of Sburb, for those unacquainted with Homestuck, or just forgetful (which, that’s a mood) — and sweet talk his way out of the final battle. And wouldn’t that be such a Witch of Heart thing for him to do?
-----
Cub: Prince of Space So how do you define the Prince of Space?
Princes are most notable for ghosting their opposing aspect — in this case, the Prince of Space would be ghosting the Time aspect. But the difficult thing is — and this was something I briefly touched upon when explaining Mumbo’s god tier — Time and Space are the two hardest aspects to define personality-wise due to how abstract they are. With that in mind, how do you define what the Prince of Space is? How do they remain as the Space aspect while ghosting Time?
A Prince of Space feels like a Time player at first glance, at a surface-level interpretation. A problem solver, someone who is very goal-oriented, going all-in to achieve their objectives. And that does feel like a very Cub thing initially, what’s with how much he grinds — between the sheer amount of resources he had to gather for Total Chaos in Season 9, to his entire base in Season 7 (seriously, those walls of ancient debris!)... And there’s still plenty of other examples to choose from.
But the thing is, Cub doesn’t feel like a Time player. He feels like a Space player, despite initial impressions implying that Time is best suited as his aspect. Because despite all the absolutely bonkers grinding and other things that Cub does, he’s so… chill. If you tried to imagine his personality solely based off what he does, then you’d expect something more “Full steam ahead!” or energetic and very spirited. But Cub’s just… laid-back. Dig said that Cub will just casually drop an insane amount of work he’s done off camera like it’s nothing, and that feels like an extremely Space player thing to do! Being so casual about it, like it’s nothing at all!
Speaking from a personal perspective here, I remember clicking on one Cub video that got recommended to me by YouTube — the one where the Hermits first played Total Chaos. And that video began with a one-and-a-half minutes montage of every single farm and instance of grinding that Cub did just to support Total Chaos, before moving on into the video like business as usual. All while I was gawking at the screen like “What the fuck?” in the most impressed way possible. The grind feels like a Time thing, but Cub’s nonchalance reveals him to be anything but Time, merely ghosting it instead.
A Prince of Space feels like a person who would exploit loopholes and take alternative paths to reach the destination, paths that aren’t available to the single-minded focus of a Time player. Or they would use their goal-focused tendencies to their advantage, honing in on a goal that ultimately has no functional purpose — something that feels like a Space player, focusing more on doing something just for the hell of it. “I can do it, so why not?”
Regarding that last point, that’s something Cub has done on multiple occasions. His Season 7 base, for example, is a prime instance of doing something just because you can. Cub set out to make his base the most expensive base of the season, and this can absolutely be seen in his two walls of ancient debris — about a whopping 1,200 ancient debris in total, according to Dig. Which— what the actual fuck? The fact that this grind, with such a bonkers end goal, served no other purpose than pure aesthetic value, and to flex on everyone else, feels like the perfect clash of Time and Space — the concentration of the former, and the lackadaisical attitude of the latter, doing something just for the sake of it.
And there’s also his quartz shop in the same season, deliberately built around (0,0) coordinates for the sake of using indestructible end crystals as decoration. For those who don’t know (because I sure as hell didn’t), indestructible end crystals are end crystals from the ender dragon fight, obtained by using pistons to shove them away from the obsidian towers with the help of precise timing, rendering them indestructible when shot at. Cub obtained four such end crystals and moved them all the way to his quartz shop in the overworld, just so his shop could look like this.
Tumblr media
(It’s purely for aesthetic reasons, since the beams from indestructible end crystals lead towards (0,128,0).)
In the end, Cub as a Prince of Space is explained like this: his actions are Time-aligned, signifying the aspect he ghosts as a Prince, but his personality and motivations are that of a Space player — nonchalant and casual, and doing things “just because”.

Bard of [Light]:
Destroy - Too Much Obedience of Light
A player who fears the presence of [Knowledge and Evaluation] and ignores it, allowing [Knowledge and Evaluation] to be destroyed by [The Unknown and Possibilities], before embracing [Insight and Meaning] and allowing it to destroy instead
A Bard of Light is surrounded by a lot of evaluated knowledge, but fears being controlled by it or fears the control such things have over them, and as such ignores the evaluated knowledge and allows it to deteriorate via keeping it unknown and letting it wonder into possibilities; only by embracing meaningful insight can they begin to destroy the secrecy that destroyed them.
Bards allow their aspect to be destroyed via simply not reaching out for it, and ignoring its presence in their lives, leading to them appearing as their inverse aspect at first glance. This is typically due to a fear of being controlled by their aspect; while they may see benefits to what it could offer them, they can also see all the downsides to it simply because of their fear of what could go wrong. Their challenge is to be able to embrace their aspect and not be ruled by its whims, learning to control the way it impacts themselves without letting it be destroyed.
Inverse Classpect Analysis of Bard
Bard of Light: Light (Knowledge, Evaluation, Insight, Meaning) is passively influenced. Too much obedience of aspect leaves no means to destroy it, allowing deterioration of it instead.
Inverse: Sylph of Void
By passively disobeying Light (Knowledge, Evaluation, Insight, Meaning), the Bard actively enhances Void (Secrecy, Unknown, Potential, Possibilities) in others as they allow Light (Knowledge, Evaluation, Insight, Meaning) to be destroyed for its obedience to them.
Enhancement of Void (Secrecy, Unknown, Potential, Possibilities) in others is relied on as the Bard allows Light (Knowledge, Evaluation, Insight, Meaning) to be destroyed for its obedience to them.
The analysis written above is my own writing, analysis, and thoughts. The statements are my own analysis, but they may function as a “fill in the blank” statement for you to create your own interpretation of the classpect as you please.

If you had to give me a class and an aspect, what would you give me?
You my friend are either a Seer, a Thief, or a Sylph.
As for Aspect...I feel like you're a Heart, or maybe a Doom player.
Given what I know of classpects...I feel Seer of Heart may fit best.
So, without further ado, analysis below the cut.
Class: Seer
Seers are a passive informational class. This means that their interaction with their Aspect simply happens. It's not their will, or their decision, to interact with it. It's an independent process that happens by itself.
Seers are often intelligent, being as intelligent as, or more intelligent than, the Mage, another informational class.
Seers intelligence is broad, with various topics they understand in detail, though topics related to their Aspect are often the easiest for them to learn, understand, and master fully. A Seer has an inherent understanding of their Aspect, as if they have a mental library of all the information regarding it, just waiting for them to reach out for a topic to provide the information to them.
This can cause Seers to be somewhat alienated in some cases, or highly revered in others, as they often find themselves the most knowledgeable in matters of their Aspect, which can be a blessing or a curse depending on those around them.
In the event those around them are receptive and willing to listen and learn, Seers become a respected authority on the subjects of their Aspect, and are seen as advisors, teachers, or guides.
In the event those around them are unreceptive, stubborn, or refuse to listen or learn, Seers become alienated and in some cases even vilified. This is because Seers have a natural desire to see others learn more about their Aspect, and struggle with the idea that someone either may not want to, or worse, may actually dislike their Aspect and its concepts enough to actively avoid trying to understand it.
This leads to a mutual dislike of one another that pushes the Seer away from those who would be unreceptive while they push the Seer away as well. However, in the negative cases, Seers often attract the "learned" and ignorant in equal value, with the ignorant often simply stepping away out of disinterest and the "learned" individuals from the negative side of things often go out of their way to paint the Seer as "less informed" or "lacking understanding" despite the Seer oftentimes knowing better.
However, in the positive cases, when those around them are receptive and willing to listen and learn, it leads to the opposite effect. Seer and listener will often learn from one another, with the Seer not only understanding their Aspect and its concepts, but learning on a deeper level how those concepts impact the lives of others and what effect they have, subjectively, on the person or people they're talking to, while those talking with the Seer gain a greater understanding of the Aspect and its concepts, and a deeper knowledge of why it is the way it is, and how to approach it in future situations.
This makes Seers excellent conversationalists and wonderful philosophy partners, as well as extremely clever overall, even outside their Aspect, as the methods and reasonings that power their understanding of their Aspect can often be applied to most other things, so long as the Seer allows.
Overall, Seers are an intelligent class that struggles with interactions with those that have some level of apprehension regarding the knowledge the Seers hold, but excel at conversation and education of those willing to listen. They make wonderful friends to those who encourage their interests, and are powerful resources of knowledge for those who want to understand their interests. They may struggle socially more than most of the other classes, but when they find good friends it's often as mutually beneficial as it is socially satisfying for both parties.
Aspect: Heart
Heart is the Aspect of identity, soul, and the self. Heart players are often self-absorbed, but not necessarily in a bad way. They can be anywhere from simply interested in figuring themselves out all the way to absolutely obsessed with themselves in every way. But in all cases, Heart players have a deep interest in themselves, in the sense that they desire to know themselves and manage themselves according to the story they want their life to be.
Heart players are also more likely to have identity issues or quirks, as their identities are usually more complicated than that of others. This can manifest as alters, identity disorders, mood disorders, or even "other selves" in a metaphorical sense, such as versions of themselves in other people's ideas of who they are, or even something as tangible as a version of themselves in a game or story.
Heart players also have an interest in certain emotions such as passion, love, and platonic relationships. This can present in several ways, from a mild interest in interpersonal dynamics all the way to an obsession with platonic, romantic, and every kind of relationship in between. They may find themselves having difficulty in understanding why others struggle with these concepts, or why others aren't interested, but are also the most likely to be understanding of their reasons when made aware, even if they disagree with them.
Overall, Heart players make for excellent emotional supports and even relationship counselors of all kinds, but are also often much more sensitive than they let on, and if their advice is rejected or turned away, or their understanding is called into question or doubt, they will likely be hurt by it long-term, be it for days or even weeks depending on the severity. This leads to many putting on a mask, something they believe will be more "socially acceptable", which often leads to them seeming aloof or distant despite being heavily invested in the lives of those around them, as well as their own.
Classpect: Seer of Heart
A Seer of Heart is one who has a deep and almost innate understanding of the self, the soul, and identity, and the concepts surrounding them. They have a deep knowledge of who they are and how they are, and learn the same of others with ease.
A Seer of Heart will be an expert in understanding relationship dynamics and personality quirks, as well as understanding identity in all its forms. Seers, as an expert informational class, often have a deep desire to share what they know and a Seer of Heart is no exception.
The Seer of Heart will want to share what they know and understand of identity, relationships, and themselves. This presents in the form of helping others discover and understand themselves, navigate relationship difficulties or confusions, and offering anecdotes or personal experiences, sharing themselves and the intricate knowledge they have of themselves, in order to provide others with a deeper understanding of Heart and it's concepts.
However, a Seer of Heart has a level of self-preservation that burrows far deeper than the body, and will go out of their way to avoid things that cause them emotional or relationship-based distress. This manifests in the form of cutting from their lives any individuals that cause them grief, with newer acquaintances being easier to cut out, but make no mistake: a long-time friend is no safer from this and if they give the Seer of Heart reason to believe they are or will be a source of grief and pain to the Seer of Heart, then that long-time friend is as likely to be cut out as a brand new individual.
Overall, Seers of Heart are sensitive souls with a deep understanding of Heart and it's concepts, a strong desire to share their knowledge with others, and a strong sense of emotional/relationship-based self-preservation that allows them to easily and efficiently protect themselves from potential traumas and heartaches, though their Heart-based need for others leads them to desire bonds with others quite a lot, and if they cannot forge them it can lead to more pain than cutting out a friend-turned-problem.
It's important to remember when dealing with Seers of Heart that as long as you treat them sincere respect and honest interest, they will be one of the most amazing individuals (or system of individuals) that you'll ever meet, while discouraging their efforts will inevitably hurt them greatly. Be open-minded and sincere when interacting with Seers of Heart, as their title is also literal: The understanding they hold over Heart and it's concepts makes them adept at reading intents and skilled at telling the difference between a mask, a lie, and the truth.
Additional Note
While I won't go into detail (it wasn't asked for, but I feel it's worth mentioning here for you <3/p) it's something interesting...Seers of Heart are, more often than not, likely to have a Derse lunar sway.
A Seer of Heart would be ill-suited for Prospit indeed. If you like, I can explain why, but as this post is about the classpect assignment, I'll leave it at this for now.

My new method of writing up these fuller analyses is hopefully going to be the perfect "jingling keys in front of my hellbrain" formula!!
Instead of focusing on one Classpect for a while, I take little bits and pieces of it until it makes a full picture. This might make things take a little longer, but it will also make things actually make some progress. A skip is just a smaller hop, which is a smaller jump!

Howdy! I was wondering if I could get your thoughts on a Page of Rage?
Of course! First, my formatted analysis:
A Page of Rage is among those who use faith in possibility. They are motivated by others to utilize defiance. (x) The Page of Rage struggles to see what they’re good at and hates complacency. (x) They are the Believer Revolutionary, defined by confidence and defiance. (x) Their opposite is the Knight of Hope. Their inverse is the Thief of Hope. They share their personality with the Bard of Hope. The Page of Rage would quest on a planet similar to the Land of Earth and Rage, reigned over by Ares (God of War). They would rise to ascension on the wings of imps. (x)(x)(x)
Now, for a more in depth look at the classpect.
The concept of the Page class likely comes from King Arthur. Arthur was a pageboy, meant to spend his time serving a knight. He spent much of his life in this lowly position while slowly learning from Merlin, the wizard. Eventually, he becomes king of Britain and wields more influence and power than anyone else in the kingdom. The Page's journey is the same. They start their lives humble yet naively unaware of their actual shortcomings. Even when they realize what they lack, it will take them longer than any other class to grow into their true potential. When they do, they become one of the most potent and influential classes. The Page's story is that of a servant becoming a king.
The Rage aspect is defined by defiance, power, and will to fight. It is symbolized by anger, fire, and demons. An excellent example of the Rage aspect is the angel Lucifer. Lucifer is a symbol of evil and destruction, but he is also one of rebellion against what you do not believe in. He is skepticism and revolution. All of these concepts encompass the Rage aspect. While Rage does sound evil on the surface (especially since I used the Devil as an example), it is no more good or evil than any other aspect. Rage is necessary to survive: to fight to protect yourself while ensuring you are not tricked by your opponents. Rage is the one to remind you that sometimes war is necessary and the only option.
As for characters, the Page of Rage is a god tier that I do not have many examples of. The two I do have are Kieran from Dragon Age and Joker Jr. from Batman: The Animated Series. That being said, Joker Jr. is more of a placeholder example of the classpect, as I do not believe Tim Drake truly changed god tiers in the show. Instead, the concept of a child Joker (or Joker Robin) fits the Page of Rage well.
Kieran from Dragon Age is the son of Morrigan, a mysterious "witch of the wilds" and a companion in the first game in the series. She is the archetypal sexy, mysterious, and relatively evil witch. The game's final boss is the Archdemon, an undead dragon possessing the soul of an ancient false god. The hero would have to sacrifice themselves to kill the creature but is offered the option to lay with Morrigan and produce a child. If they do so, the child absorbs the god's soul instead, and the hero can survive. Kieran does not die from this, but his personality is affected. When the main character meets him in Dragon Age: Inquisition, the boy will respond to the character's race and class with cryptic comments indicating knowledge of the game's lore that he, and the player, should have no way of knowing. Kieran does not appear aware of how strange and unique his omniscience is, commenting on the world with well-meaning naivety. The only indication that he notices something is wrong comes from his confusion about others, such as why the elves would wear tattoos on their faces when he knows they are slave markings. However, he does not consider that they do not know this information.
Joker Jr. is the Batman Animated Series' version of the third Robin, Tim Drake. Because (Jason Todd) Robin's death was considered too dark for child viewers, the integral tragedy was swapped out for Tim Drake being abducted and tortured by the Joker. Robin was tortured for three weeks before Batman found him in order to be turned into "Joker Jr." It was Joker's intent for Joker Jr. to kill Batman himself. When Robin awoke and was set loose on Batman, he followed along happily. He acted as deranged as the Joker himself until the very end when he was called to make the shot. Joker Jr. then became distraught and aimed the gun at Joker instead, killing him. After killing the Joker, he cried and was comforted by Batgirl.
Not every individual with the same classpect will be the same person; they merely have similar destinies. Some examples of Page of Rage character types are: the bumbling henchman and the dark, powerful child. Both characters naively serve rebellion against the status quo: the henchman is doing what they're told by serving a villain, while the dark child does not understand that they are inherently in opposition to society by just being who they are. Both of these characters could become great leaders if they opened their eyes to the truths of the world. The henchman could rebel and become a dangerous villain (or hero) in their own right. The child could become a powerful magician or god-like being. In both cases, if they do succeed, it may take them most of their lives to get there.
The Maid of Rage has a similar struggle to the Page of Rage. They both must learn to be defiant for themselves instead of following what others command. This can be seen in Harley Quinn from Batman, who is very obviously similar to Joker Jr., as a henchwoman. The Page of Rage differs in that they do not start out serving anyone but their own lack of judgment. In the end, they learn to help others by their own terms, whereas the Maid discovers how to serve themselves.
The song Lullaby Bye by Dr. Steel is a good example of a Page of Rage's story. The song is about a robot boy programmed to sing on a street corner. One day he falls and breaks a crank on the top of his head. At this, he realizes he is alive for the first time and becomes furious at having been forced to perform. Because of this, he expresses his emotions through song and begins to sing once more.
Lastly, for a final look at my formatted analysis.
So the Page of Rage uses faith in possibility. This means they can use the firm convictions of themselves and others to suit an end. Specifically, they are inspired to action by others, either from being pushed by others into action or motivated by observing them. The action they take is wielding the defiance, strength, and “evil” of both themselves and others like a tool. If realized, the Page can use this talent with unequaled finesse. Unfortunately, they begin life with a misunderstanding about how powerful and defiant they really are. Either they will overestimate their own strength or underestimate it, with bad results all around. They will naively rail against naivety itself, bludgeoning both themselves and others. The Page of Rage possesses the confidence and defiance of the believer revolutionary, zealous to say the least. Their opposite is the Knight of Hope (Sir Lancelot), not held back by anyone but themselves and bravely holding onto their belief in the status quo, charging forwards against evil.
As with all classpects, the Page of Rage starts out as their inverse, in this case, the Thief of Hope. The Page acts as the Thief when in the process of taking others to task for their complacency. Overconfident in Rage, they instead take happiness from others as a show of their hatred of mainstream convictions. In doing so, they appear as desperate to hold onto a belief system (Hope) as the people they are trying to change. They are convinced that the way to be defiant is to take away the beliefs and happiness of others, even commandeering the system itself if need be (like a cult leader).
So the Page will go from someone unaware that they are rebelling at all to a person wrestling agency away from others in their desperation to be counter-culture. Who do they end up as? If, after a long chunk of time, they learn to think objectively, they can become an inspirational revolutionary or leader of armies. The Page of Rage must look to others to determine what system must be broken down. By stepping back and observing the world, they can come back into the fight strong, the one fight they know matters.
Then they will be the King Arthur of change, of fighting back. The world they influence will be violent, but hopefully, that violence will be for the better. The Page of Rage will know how to lead the battles that matter, just like the robot boy who kept singing, not because he had to, but because now he had a purpose.
The Page of Rage shares their personality with the Bard of Hope as both classpects are concerned with confidence/assurance and outrage/defiance. The Page of Rage stubbornly believes in revolution and fighting back (in an "I hate you, Mom!" sort of way), while the Bard of Hope fights back with what they believe ("I'm the only right one here!")
Their dynamic is
Page of Rage: "I can be happy by tearing things down."
Bard of Hope: "I don't care if you've been torn down because I am happy."
Now, the planet ideas. Pages have something regarding earth (as in dirt) on their planet, such as pebbles, mud, or clay. Rage players will have anything pertaining to the Rage aspect, like battlefields or hellfire. As with all planets, these characteristics can align in some way with the player's personality.
An example of a Page of Rage's planet might be: the Land of Stones and Giants (based on the story of David & Goliath from the Bible). David was the underdog when he faced off against the giant, but he stood up for himself against Goliath by utilizing his will to fight and defiance. He managed to take down the bully with a single stone from his slingshot, avoiding fighting him in physical combat. The fact that even a small stone can take down a powerful enemy is a very Page of Rage sentiment.
Thank you for the ask and I hope my analysis helps!

If you're still active can I have a Derse witch of hope analysis
Hi! I'm going through my backlog answering a bunch of asks (in appearance order). I'm sorry I took so long, a lot was happening! I have to say thank you for letting me have a reason to do another classpect post, I really liked doing that first one. I hope you like this!
Without further ado, let me make this as lovely an experience to read as it must have been to see the other one for you!

Let me teach you to wonder and worry,
Permit me to tell you how to wage war;
A creature's reach should exceed its grasp,
Or what's a heaven for?

Regarding Hope
Homestuck frames Hope as a very powerful aspect. I would caution people against the assumption that it's always the most important variable in all games -- it was central to the kids' story in a way it may not be in other narratives -- but we get direct statements from Aranea about the power of Hope, and a number of people get stepped on by Hope heroes who shouldn't get stepped on otherwise. This is because, basically, an aspect that runs on not obeying limitations is really effective in a story about unfairly imposed limitations.
That's what I think Hope really means in context -- perseverance at any cost, the faint glimmer of possibility, the boundary between "is" and "might be", the ability to dream and want things you can't have, the part of the future you cannot see and have to trust in. In some respects all players have to learn Hope-type behaviours and understandings (to play the game at all you have to go in blind and trust in the idea it will all be ok), but Hope players have the inevitable certainty that what they're doing will have an effect... and honestly, considering the grind? They deserve it, probably.

I'm not a sadist; I enjoy just being able
To be a witness of
the loneliness
And be a higher power,
In case there isn't one...
In case there isn't one.
I'm not a higher power; I just live in the ceiling,
'Cause I'm lonely on the fringes
And it gives my life some meaning
In the exile -- in my exile.

Regarding Witches
Witches, like I've said here before many a time, change and change through their aspect; their task is to challenge and reform things and systems that aren't working. They're supposed to be opposed in this in some way; the operative symbolism here is the Biblical witch, who in context would have been a type of spirit medium, a person who could hypothetically see justice done, call up the victim's ghost, reveal that it wasn't justice at all and complicate things for everyone immensely; we should also consider the more recent witch, the one properly called by that name, and the overall imagery of the outcast and the distrusted.
As the Sylph is the benign and accepted side of this dyad, the Witch is the questionable, dangerous, unpredictable one -- after all, to "heal" and "repair" something sounds a lot less threatening to the people who built it than "fix" and "change". Even if those things are substantially the same in practice, sometimes.
A Witch of Hope, then, is a person who exists challenging common understandings of Hope -- an unusual Hope player who chooses to lean into being unusual, maybe in many ways even behaving like a Sylph of Doom. A Dersite Witch of Hope is one who doesn't accept the way of things or necessarily the framing of their aspect, and whose methods are perhaps more invasive and direct than some others' may be -- but in what way? Let's see.

Tired and worn from the patterns I've carved,
I will do better in the morning.
I'm afraid of who I'd be without you,
I will do better in the morning.
Twisting up smokes, I'm in control
'Til the fire burns down my miniature vacation
And I'm always left with the taste in my mouth --
I will do better in the morning.

A detour to Prospit
There's something that all Derse dreamers have in common, and we can best understand it in terms of the opposite.
Of course there is the official quiz writeup about the moon sway, which tells us they're all unified by a restless skepticism and an anxiety about time -- but outside of that, and actually maybe even ignoring that, have you noticed that both canonical Derse dreamers had a similarity of journey?
Dave and Rose's struggle throughout the game is essentially the same struggle -- the game is pretty dumb for some shit that has everybody by the scruff of the neck, and the thing that has to change about that before they can approach the problem is their own approach to the situation.
Now, see, Prospitian quests seem to be focused more on external things, connections, social markers of coming of age, the system as it's meant to help growing children -- and Dersites' quests are internally focused, typically between them, some deep thought and the relevant entities one by one. Rose's grimdarkness, Dave's time travel -- oh goodness, the time travel. Why is that?
The answer is probably why Prospit dreamers have a stereotype of being agreeable -- not necessarily, and they don't need to be whimsical extroverts the way that John and Jade are; they just have to be able not to push away people they need, whether because they love those people and were never hurt by them, or because they're afraid of and resigned to them... or because the invisible hand of the game has, like the proverbial monkey's paw, curled a finger.
Not to say that all players don't have to go through both a social and personal maturation before they can create a new universe, but the game might select an arbitrary sway for a person based on a perceived shortage in their life of that element.
In this school of thought, it's popular fanon that abused children are often Prospit dreamers -- they're already on a journey of struggle no one else can see before they play, and if they refuse to externalize it (like Dave does, thus his Derse sway) they end up dreaming on Prospit because the computer is a cheating bastard.
Skaia needs them in shape to play and exploits their sense of order (damaged as it is) to get them in a position to do it -- if you're already really good at accepting existential horrors in your personal life, what's a fantastical computer world of friendly lizards to you? More importantly, might puttering around looking after several thousand mentally deficient salamanders and befriending individual pawns from a culture that hates you (the multiplayer equivalent of forming the Felt) help you heal from the trauma of your own uncaring childhood?
A Derse sway then might mean a typically edgy sort of lone wolf or contrarian for any number of readily worldbuildable reasons, but it could also mean that this person has trouble trusting and relying on themself and their own instinct -- and what better way to sharpen that faculty than making them rely on it all night every night in their sleep?
Put it all together now:
A Dersite Witch of Hope is someone who has to make some internal changes and grow a little around the idea that the conditions and axioms of persistence and faith in their world are flawed; someone who is assigned the task of dreaming about and iterating on these things until they crystallize in some sort of a waking plan or indeed a hope for a way forward.
This person will not be unopposed in the external world, but their internal journey is about them individually, about how they digest the ideas they encounter and grow into the type of person they need to be...
All in all, a perfectly charming kind of thing to be -- and player to have in your game, don't you think?

hello there! i have no idea if you still answer classpect questions or do analysis upon request, so feel free to disregard this if you'd like, but do you have any ideas at all about what a muse of void would be like? i'm really stumped here - i agree pretty much entirely with your approach to classpecting, but i'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how one would "encourage the perpetuation" of void, especially in a way involving more than just secrets/obfuscation :T (1/2)
(2/2) i have a character i'm making who i've been considering bestowing the muse of void title upon due to their adamant refusal to fit well into any class other than muse. one of their defining traits is a disconnect from reality, which seems justifiable as being void-y, but i can't seem to connect the dots to see the full picture of how to tie that to the title. and i just really love your particular take on classpects so you were the first person i thought to ask. :)
HMMMMMM that's a real humdinger!
The problem with Void is that something which is, at core, Endless Possibility and Imagination and The Unknown can basically be Everything, which makes narrowing Difficult |:T
I guess the most obvious and immediate answer to what they would be perpetuating/perpetuating through is "Reality". Getting more specific we could go to The Furthest Ring, since The Ring is VERY strongly tied to Void in HS, and the process through which reality perpetuates itself(The Game) takes place WITHIN that void, but there are some other, smaller, ideas which suggest themselves as facets for Muse activity.
The Horror-Terrors, obvsl, as Void-Associated divinities which play some esoteric role in The Whole Business.
Dreams! The Dream-bubbles are in The Furthest Ring, and are produced by the Horror-Terrors so they're Void-themed. And, before the bubbles are created, The Players dream IN The Ring(which is Void) if they're dream-selves die. So, while it's indirect, I think the tie between Void and Dreams is pretty solid.
People/The Self! Bscl just running down the thread we're already on: People Dream, and Dream is associated with Void, so HS implies there's a connection btwn People/The Self(Heart Aspect) and Void. So a Muse of Void may encourage ppl to be themselves, or direct ppl, through their Core Drives and Identities, to perpetuate some facet of Void
Mystery! I know you already mentioned it but it's a fair one. A Muse of Void might perpetuate Secrets and Magic and Mystery; they may direct ppl away from finding things out, or prevent things from happening. That's pretty difficult to express narratively tho(tho HS has a few methods at hand for it like Timeline shenanigans and replaying storybeats)
Wonder! A Muse of Void might be someone who really Inspires others to Believe and Be Amazed in stuff, or acts ON that sense of wonder. 'Magician' might be a good archetype for a Muse of Void; Im thinking of the sort of like Stage-Magician-Who's-REALLY-a-REAL-WIZARD! trope here, or maybe the "so good they SEEM to be magic" type. Regardless: they would never reveal the trick uwu uwu
The Subconscious/Unconscious! This is more strongly tied to Rage but there's allot of overlap in the Aspects and Void def touches on this too. Idk exactly HOW you would "perpetuate/inspire/work-through the subconscious" in others, but maybe they're good at influencing ppl through/inspiring their impulses, or getting ppl to talk about their deep-dark feelings and confront their inner-challenges? Or maybe they just whack ppl in the heard with hammers allot. Making ppl unconscious is definitely "perpetuating the unconscious" :| :| :|
Magic! Kinda ties back into Wonder and Mystery, but maybe the Muse of Void seems to "give" people magic powers? Or maybe leads them into events which end in them "gaining" magic powers. It could be a good role for someone who guides others into playing The Game and realizing their Role; sort of like Jade at the start of Homestuck maybe? Or Rose smashing up John's house; Void IS associated with destruction(along with allot of other Aspects I mean: Jade sort of inspires Bec to kill HER OWN Dreamself with the meteor, foreshadowing BecNoir's later2nd-hand killing of her with the shaving cream bomb, so there's Space associating with Destruction)
One way you could do this, speaking more to the description you give of the character as "detached from reality", is have their detatched, Voidy actions be what 'inspires'(ie induces) other to act, rather than looking for ways to "inspire" or "perpetuate" void. You see this a bit with Calliope, how often she won't directly tell someone to do something or even intend to "inspire" an action but people will act off the things she tells/gives them; in this case it could be more like the Muse of Void spaces out, or forgets to do something or forgets to be somewhere/contact someone when they were supposed to, or is just being Impenetrable as usual, and how others react to this stuff ends up coincidentally driving the plot.
Another, more direct and alt!Calliopeish, way you could do it is through the removal of objects and people. Maybe the Muse deliberately hides, obfuscates, or misleads/misplaces someone or thing to prevent or cause a particular chain or events. Void characters also tend to have a bit of an overbearing personality, meaning 'overbearing personalities' are a void trait, so you could also have THAT be what "inspires, and perpetuates". It could also just directly be Void, in the sense of "voiding" the agency of those they are "inspiring" by bossing them around. In this way, a Muse of Void could come off very "active"(though, like I said, alt!Calli is already precedence for this through a different Aspect).
And that's about all the juice I have for conceptual poking and proding today ==.== I hope it helps, Anon ^v^

Hello! Nice to see a new homestuck blog : ) I saw that you do classspect analysis, I was wondering if I could have a comparison of Page of Heart with Prince of Heart, thank you!
Hello! Apologies for the delay on this!!! I promise im doing my best to get to all of the classpect analysis asks!
A QUICK COMPARISON OF PRINCES AND PAGES OF HEART.
Lets start with definitions!
Heart - The aspect of The inner self, All things biased, The soul, Splinters, and Emotionally charged thought.
Prince - Active Destruction Class.
[Destroys [aspect], or destroys with [aspect]]
Page - Passive Creation class.
[Creates [aspect] for others gain, invites creation of [aspect]].
Starting off with differences between princes and pages, theyre inversions of eachother. Princes actively destroy, pages passively create. Princes emulate their opposite and are powerhouses right from the start, pages embody and embrace their aspect and have the potential to be even stronger than princes.
However, princes and pages do also have quite a bit in common! Both of them need functioning support systems to reach their true potential, both of them can be insanely dangerous without said support systems/if they're brought to that potential too quickly, as well as hussie tending to dislike princes and pages [though they absolutely HATE pages and its really obvious, that same thing could be said about kurloz and eridan rlly].
This is much more general than it maybe should be but heart is such a flexible aspect its hard to narrow down simalarities like that, but i hope this was fun to read regardless!
