i really don't understand why people who only read YA or people who only watch cartoons made for kids try to tell us that it's actually just as good and deep and thought-provoking as media made for adults like i do know it's because they know it's not and they feel inferior or whatever but it's very funny

#i haven't read a ya book in like...hmm idk four years i think and i bought the most generic wattpad-y book because i was depressed and i #literally seeked out a book that was like bad fanfic because i wanted to spend money on bad literature #and feel slightly better. and i actually did #and are there good ya books sure not everything that's written for a young(er) audience is bad obviously but i remember when i was a kid/a #teenager i was like wow. i will never want to read books written for adults i'll want to be reading this forever. and then I GREW UP #i'm not even that old #for the cartoons um well i like gravity falls i'm younger than mabel and dipper did you know that. but they were younger than me in my mind #when i was watching like on tv for the first time because i was soooo mature #i've rewatched all of violetta as an adult do you see me act like that's better than like the rest of tv #it's so funny with the ao3 femslash poll thing this is what inspired this. especially when we're talking about ships i just can't imagine a #ship in a kids show being better than a ship in not a kids show like sorry i just don't believe you #i was gonna say something else but i forgot. 😁#oh totally spies i watch one or two episodes every monday morning. pour vivre l'action il faut être à la mode #like it's literally fun but why do they always have to act like it's BETTER are you seven years old #and like i say: brf slt
