Guys, I know it's pride month, which is pretty cool, but we're ignoring the fact it's (depending on timezones) end of May or early June.

”Yeah, that stranger was pretty sketchy.”
A Sam and Max inspired production: NOMT’s For Forever on November 17th, 18th, and 19th. More information under the cut.
Tumblr media
Hi there! My name is Sio and for the past 10 months I’ve been a part of planning a yearly production at my school. This year, I wrote the script and was co-student director of a collaboration of musical numbers (from the choir program) and acting (courtesy of our drama club).
If you’re a fan of Sam and Max, there’s a 99.99% chance you’ll resonate with this story about 2 friends about to open a new chapter in their lives and end up time-traveling. With numbers like Spongebob the Musical’s (I Guess) I Miss You and Time Warp from the Rocky Horror Picture Show, it’s a fun student-led production that’ll blow you away.
A livestream of the show will be available at this youtube page, or Joey Seward, on Nov. 17th, 18th, and 19th at 7pm Pacific Standard Time (PST). There’s also a matinee on the 19th at 2:30 pm :))
I would appreciate it if you were able to tune in and watch, or even just reblog :)) and if anyone’s interested I can share behind the scenes of the production.

No one talks about For Forever from DEH and I think that's a shame because that line haunts me.
Tumblr media
No because look he repeats it, do you see?
HE REPEATS IT HE'S SO SHOCKED SOMEONE IS HERE FOR HIM??! AND DO YOU UNDERSTAND HE'S SO SAD AND LONELY HE CREATED A FAKE FRIEND AND HE'S SO DEEP IN HIS GAME OF PRETEND HE'S ACTUALLY REALLY HAPPY TO NOTICE HIS FAKE FRIEND CAME TO SEE HIM WHEN HE FELL DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!!? DO YOU SEE THE REPETITION IS THE SIZE OF HIS YEARNING FOR A REAL FRIEND
anyway I'll never been okay again

i do wonder how well sukuna’s whole “i’m going to kill tsumiki’s body using only the ten shadows in order to make megumi fall further into despair over killing his sister so that i can suppress his soul fully” thing will work because i feel like sukuna is operating under the assumption that it will be similar to yuuji and his reaction to shibuya? but megumi and yuuji i feel carry their guilt and responsibility and accountability very differently. no matter who tells him that he wasn’t at fault, yuuji will always think that HE is the one at fault for the deaths in shibuya, but the thought of megumi thinking that he himself killed tsumiki just because sukuna used ten shadows against her is much more far fetched??
i guess since tsumiki is the most important person to megumi he might lose rationality, but megumi really does not have the same sort of self-flagellating need to save as many people as humanly possible and guilt complex as yuuji. megumi saves ppl unequally, and he and yuuji have ALWAYS been different when it comes to saving people and the guilt felt for those they can’t save, so i don’t think he will take responsibility for this in the same way yuuji does. again, since it’s tsumiki this might be the one situation he truly cannot separate himself from, but i just feel that sukuna assuming that yuuji and megumi are so similar that megumi will blame HIMSELF for tsumiki’s possible death rather than sukuna or even the ten shadows themselves is probably going to be one of his biggest mistakes in the series :’)

Evan Hansen says in For Forever that he broke his arm “end of May or early June”. Casts usually stay on three months maximum, so how does he have it on a) at the beginning of the school year probably in late August/early September and b) through the semester until act two begins? Because if I remember correctly he gets it off between acts one and two, right? So did he break his arm super close to school starting, like late July, and is the “end of May or early June” thing another lie?? And why does he have it after months of knowing the Murphy’s when he’s presumably already had it on a while?

Imagine a Hero has made a bargain with their enemy. They’ve run out of options and the only thing left for them to do is hand themselves over. Imagine our Hero is very brave, never shows any fear. Then once the bargain is complete and they’re in the hands of their enemy, that facade begins to crumble. Because the truth is, the Hero is terrified. So terrified that they struggle to fulfill their end of the bargain and do what their enemy commands. It’s clear they’re trying so hard, but they’re paralyzed by their terror. And their enemy has never seen them like this before. Now the hero isn’t merely some unwavering drone that was meant to defeat them, but a person with emotions. Emotions just as real as their own. Whatever are they supposed to do now?
