Okay. I got to talk about something diet/health wise I do not think enough people are confronting head on...
YOU CAN NOT JUST EAT ONE BIG MEAL A DAY YOU DUMB FUCKS!
(ESPECIALLY skipping breakfast)
<IT IS BAD FOR YOU. YOUR METABOLISM DOESN'T JUST STOP WHEN YOU QUIT EATING!!!>
I ain't sugar coating this (tho I would if you'd EAT it!)
People are ignoring their bodies, saying they don't care/get used to it/etc...
BUT IT IS BAD FOR YOUR BODIES!
If you are fasting, cool. Have some weird special diet for a procedure, cool. Etc.
But if you are regularly* not eating till one major meal, then borderline starving yourself the rest of the 24 hours you got, you are doing a disservice to yourself AND body (and in turn, mind, being it is part of your fucking body and all).
I am not one of those people that says you NEED 3 meals a day**.
The food pyramid was a lie made by food industries & the FDA (sadly, not joking).
I would personally say veggies and fruits can, alone, make you live a long healthy happy life (bugs if you need 'meat'.)
But...EAT. (and drink water A LOT more than other beverages. Why do so many people ignore the basics of their bodies? Do I need to tell you to poop regularly too? jesus fuck...)
*the top 3 reasons I hear they can't. #3-I don't feel like eating/I don't want to eat (which is caused by lack OF eating. Kind of like how you sometimes can't sleep when you're exhausted). #2-No time (make the time, dumbass. This is YOUR life.) #1-I need to save money. (dude, homeless people without cars OR jobs still got to eat, genius Still kinda priority.)
**From what I have found for myself, eating when you're hungry works. Basically, snacking on and off all day. Eat SLOWLY. AND DO NOT OVERFILL. I am so bad at 'just finish your plate.' NO. If your body says 'at max' you're just over stuffing the barrel. But then you feel guilty about wasting leftovers...(oh...yeah...do not make too much food/buy too much food. I am NOTORIOUS for wasting cucumbers. They become fucking water god damn overnight...)

Mini Brie, Mustard, and Jam Grilled Cheeses !
Ingredients: 
baguette
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp Maille Old Style Mustard
4 tbsp lingonberry jam (or other sweet and tart jam or preserves)
8 oz brie
Instructions:
Preheat to 450 degrees F.
Cut 16 thin slices (about 1/2" each) from a baguette.
Butter one side of the 8 slices of bread and place each buttered side down on a baking sheet.
Spread about 1 1/2 tsps of jam on each slice, then top with two thin slices of Brie (about 1 oz of cheese per sandwich).
Next, spread about 1 tsp of Maille Old Style mustard on each of the remaining 8 bread slices and place them mustard-side down on the cheese to form sandwiches.
Butter the tops of the 8 sandwiches.
Bake for 4 minutes, then carefully flip the sandwiches and bake for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Transfer the grilled cheeses to a platter and serve immediately.

This spherical refrigerator is buried underground, keeping food cool without using electricity.
Groundfridge is based on traditional root cellars – spaces dug into the earth to preserve food and drink. It is designed to be buried underground where, due to thermal inertia, temperatures are constant throughout the year.
According to Weltevree, burying the fridge allows it to remain consistently between 10 and 12 degrees celsius throughout the year, meaning it can be used to store produce such as vegetables, wine, or cheese.
The company claims the storage capacity is comparable to that of 20 standard refrigerators, meaning it can hold up to 500 kilograms of food.
Constructed from lightweight laminated polyester, the Groundfridge is resistant to intrusion from roots of nearby trees or plants.

‘Morphed’ Pasta!
What if your pasta could lie flat and occupy less shape when packaged, and morph into its desired shape when cooking? Scientists at Carnegie Mellon University and Zhejiang University City College are trying to figure out how to make pasta more ‘efficient’. 
Working on principles that are quite similar to those found in soft robotics and origami, these new pasta shapes start out as flat sheets of dried dough that warp into their signature design when you boil them in water.

Sébastien Dubois-Didcock, ‘Refined’
Refined is a photographic body of work embellishing the issues of petrochemistry in our agriculture in hopes to spark awareness. 
Each image depicts a subject derived of highly polluting crops, that is unveiled by a stream of “petroleum”; the chemical used to create most of our pesticides and insecticides. 
The contrast between the visible petroleum and the invisible food is representative of the dependency these crops have on the petrochemicals used in their production. 
While these images are perhaps aesthetically pleasing, their background should remind us that not all progress is progressive.
