August is here and has brought some heavy autumn previous with late night fog, earlier sunsets and a light scent of autumn in the air as well as the first early red and yellow leaves on the ground. It feels exciting as there is so much to prepare now before our next winter here in our new cozy home in the valley. This autumn I really want to prepare the garden for the next growing season as I now feel like I know much better what to find where in the garden, which spots are more sunny and exposed as opposed to other more shady areas and which mistakes not to make again. I want to prepare some more veggie and flower beds, get a better understanding of how to compost and if there is time I want to build a simple greenhouse after the model of @theeverydaygreenhouse if there is no snow on the ground yet when I can start building.
