im so sorry i left this ask sitting in my inbox for 4 months because i couldnt think of how to properly explain that butch hartman made a youtube video with the same level of writing quality as a novice fanfic in which he said that danny has a ✨secret brother✨ who as a kid walked into the portal which conveniently opened in the middle of being wip just long enough for him to go through before closing again and that maddie and jack saw this on the security cameras which conveniently dont exist anymore when danny has his accident and they felt so bad about losing flynn that their way of coping is to simply pretend he never existed in the first place and meanwhile flynn grows up with superpowers in the ghost zone because "human have powers in the ghost zone the same way ghosts have powers in the human realm" and butch mentions like 5 separate marvel references in explaining flynn's supervillain origin and also he looks like this

Flynn’s first garden was a mess. It was pretty much impossible to keep anything alive in the barren soil. Plants native to the ghost zone refused to sprout, much less the plants and seeds he’d stolen from the Greenhouse or the Garden Web— garden-like traps for newly dead ghosts that were, at this point, Flynn‘s main supply of mortal vegetation.
The wonderful thing about it though, was every time he failed, every half grown plant that withered and died did something to the soil to make the next batch get just that much further along. Until eventually he was growing a full garden of vegetables and fruits that he could actually eat and sustain himself with.
A human, living in the Infinite Realms. Making a home there. The thought was so ludicrous on its own, but Flynn had managed.

I want to write a Dad!Vlad and or Family Breakfast AU and I just learned about Flynn Fenton
His 'canon' is half baked at best and obviously I'm gonna rewrite it in this AU, but I have multiple ideas on how to do it and want to narrow it down.
Additional info:
-AU is set during an alternate Kindred Spirits where Vlad's in the process of making Dani in all settings.
-Vlad being a dad to two or more kids is more important to the AU than the romantic relationships between him, Maddie, and Jack.
-Depending on how this goes, he might not even stop being a villain, he'll just be an evil dad with evil kids and they all manically laugh together as an evil little family.
-(Excluding the Chimera setting) Jack and Maddie think the Ghost Portal killed Flynn. From their point of view, they got the calculations wrong, the portal electrocuted them, and while they mourned, they had to move on for the sake of Ghost Science. Except to their shock, he's alive! And Vlad Masters/Plasmius found him!
-I am not doing shit with Misery Vex, Flynn (again, aside from the chimera setting) was feral/communally raised by ghosts until Vlad finds him, recognizes how familiar he looks, and mentally goes 'waiiiiiit a minute!' before taking him back to the human world and helping him readjust back to human society while figuring out what to do with him.
-In Option one, Alicia made the terrible mistake of letting her sister and Jack babysit her son while she and her (soon to be future ex) husband argued about shared custody of Flynn years ago. After Vlad finds him and reunites him with his mother, a grateful Alicia and Flynn act as his wingmen. Alicia encouraging 'giving your kids a more reliable and responsible father figure'. She doesn't care if Maddie divorces Jack or not but she'll be damned if the man who saved her son is just flat out ignored in favor of the man who made her lose him for so long.
-In Option two, Vlad unintentionally/unknowingly parentally alienates Flynn from Jack and Maddie by going above and beyond for this kid when Flynn would've killed and died for him if he just did the bare minimum. Flynn, loyal to his new father to a fault is all for trying to kill Jack but also tries to convince Vlad that he can do much better than Maddie as he also wants to kill her, but can't do that when his dad has feelings for her.
-In Option three, Maddie and Vlad had a fling in college that ended when Vlad got hospitalized. Jack knew it wasn't his but was happy to adopt, she knew it was Vlad's but didn't tell him or bring it up to him. They forgot all about it until there's a pissed-off Plasmius too angry to realize that he's outing himself as a halfa while banging on the Fentonworks' door demanding to know why Maddie hid his son's existence from him and why he was treated so poorly. Maddie puts two and two together immanently, Jack thinks Maddie made a kid with the Wisconsin ghost and is excited about what this means in ghost research.
-In Option four, through a course of several fights with Maddie and Jack, battle banter leads Plasmius to jokingly ask them for samples of their DNA to make halfa chimeras. Jack and Maddie, eager ghost-studying scientists who are too thrilled with the idea to recognize it was a joke, happily consent on the grounds that they get 50-50 custody of any kids made during their partnership.

Danny Phantom Allies, Neutrals, & Enemies Headcanons
This is for the characters from Danny Phantom that I forgot to add to the Allies, Neutral, and Enemies list, so here we go!
Warning : Some character explanations will be super long, mentions of death, and other things rated PG-13.
Elliot/Gregor - Neutral/Enemy - After, almost getting killed by the Guys -in- White I'm pretty sure Gregor/Elliot would get the heck out of Amity Park as soon as possible. His family probably sued the Guys in White (along with the Observatory ) for attacking him, making him rich and join the A-listers. He would also stay away from the trio due to ghosts being around them (plus Sam probably growls at him).
Alice - Ally - As much as she dislikes Jack, she loves her nephew and nieces, and is very supportive of her sister Maddie. Once, she finds out about Danny being a Halfa she's gonna be 'peeved' at Jack, because of his ghost foolishness. But once she finds out that Vlad Masters has not only: endangered people's lives, kill Jack, force Maddie into marrying him, and has stalked her family numerous times - oh man, she's gonna be more 'peeved'! She backs up her family from any danger ghost or human.
Flynn - Instead of being the Fenton's lost family member he's Alice's son in my headcanons. At a young age he knew his Auntie Maddie and Uncle Jack were weird, but he did lookout for Jazz and Danny and the two looked up to him. As he grew older, they became distant due to his moody attitude, once he learned Danny's secret, he regains his role as older brother figure and joins Team Phantom.
Harriet - Now a news reporter in Amity Park after losing her job she does everything to prove that ghost attacked her high school ruin and get back her job back. Like many reporters she wants to know who Danny Phantom is, only to find out he's her friends' son. Once, she finds out Danny's secret she does everything in her power to give Danny good publicity and Danny sometimes give her exclusive interviews no other reporter can get.

This is just something I wrote for fun with Flynn, Jazz, and Danny based off of something that happened with me and my brother before. I don’t know if I’m going to find somewhere to put this in the actual fic, so I’m sharing it here.
Yes, I’m having Flynn in the fic. I had already planned on how I was going to add him in after everyone latched onto him and found ways to make him better than the crap Butch Fartman thought up. I just like the idea of Danny having an older brother.

“Do you three think you’ll be okay for a couple weeks? There’s a ghost hunting convention your father and I want to go to out of state, and we’ll probably be there the whole time they’re open.” Maddie asks as Danny, Jazz, and Flynn are sitting on the couch watching a movie together.
“We’ll be fine, mom. You and Dad go, chances are you need a break from this house.” Jazz says.
“What Jazz said. What state is it in though? I wanna get a rough idea of how far you’ll be from us.” Flynn asks.
“It’s in Colorado.” Maddie says. Flynn quickly pauses the movie and the three siblings look at each other, waiting.
“What are you three doing?” Maddie asks, watching as her children seem to have started a three-way staring contest as they laugh.
Danny ends up being the first one to break, yelling “I’m a giraffe!” making Flynn almost fall off the couch as him and Jazz laugh.
“Free sha va ca do!” Jazz manages to say through her laughter.
“Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to!” Danny starts, and Jazz and Flynn finish saying “T-t-t-t-Target!”
“What are you three talking about?” Maddie asks, absolutely confused.
“It’s an avocado!” Flynn says.
“Thaaannnks!” Danny and Jazz say in unison.
“Road work ahead!” Jazz says.
“Uh yeah, I sure hope it does!” all three of them say, as Flynn finally falls off the couch from his laughter, which just makes the three of them start laughing harder.
“Okay… I’m going to let Jack know we should start making plans to go.” Maddie says before walking out of the living room.

I made a genderbent version of Flynn Fenton from my Twin AU. Her name is Fran (full name Francene), which is a small nod to the game Fran Bow by the way! She's a gymnast/parkour enthusiast instead of a track team runner and her sister Danielle even bases some combat moves on those parkour maneuvers too! Apart from that Fran is seen by most people as a real tomboy that hangs out at the park a lot doing cartwheels, flips, or playing a hardcore game of tether-ball. Not even Jace, her fraternal twin brother, can talk her out of doing it either.

Sam and Tucker shared a glance as Danny parked the Spectre Speeder and started gathering his protective equipment.
“Do you really need all that?” Sam asked.
“Yeah dude. For a field of flowers?” Tucker added. “I mean. I know they’re ghost flowers but you defeated Undergrowth. I think a field of poppy flowers is within your abilities.”
Danny huffed. “Frostbite said it’s important.”
He continued trying to put the unnecessarily complicated (and clearly made for yetis of a different stature than Danny) suit on. It slipped off his shoulder.
Scowling, Danny forced it back into place, trying a trick he’d learned by manipulating ectoplasm to try and stick it together so it wouldn’t keep falling off.
That should be good enough, right?
About five minutes into the Poppy Bed—sorting through the different types of frustratingly similar looking ghost poppies to find the ones specified in Frostbite's directions—Danny and his friends had picked enough to fill the container Frostbite had given them and more. Tucker stood up straight, not bothering to shake any of the pollen off his hands, and wiped at his forehead with his arm.
“Please tell me this is enough,” he said, a droopy, exhausted look in his eyes.
Sam nodded. “Yeah Danny, I’m beat. Let’s head back for —” she hadn’t finished before she lost her balance and was forced to take a knee. Danny quickly moved to catch her, but when he did, instead of stabilizing, her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she fell completely asleep.
“Sam?” he asked, panicked. “Sam why —”
Then he heard a thump, and looked up to see that Tucker had fallen asleep too, right in the middle of the Poppy Bed.

You know as much as I hate Flynn Fenton it would have been interesting if the backstory Hartman proposed in that lame video was true, and he did exist in the canon timeline. Just because of how the math works out and how it would have affected the show’s story.
Because if he did exist in canon, we the viewers and Danny would have encountered, met, and learned about what happened to Flynn without anyone ever mentioning him, or Danny even encountering him in the Ghost Zone as Exodus*.
*Which is another dumb thing I hate and I’m getting rid of. No Exodus only Flynn.
The thing is that Flynn is 8 years older than Danny. Danny got his powers at age 14, which is the same year as his parents and Vlad’s 20 year collage reunion. Flynn would have been 22 at the time Danny got his powers.
Meaning he would have been alive, well, and 2 years old at the point of the proto-portal accident that turned Vlad half-ghost.
Implying one thing:
Flynn is biologically just Maddie’s kid, from a previous relationship back in her hometown, where Flynn is staying with her family while she goes to collage. [Flynn’s green eyes, the fact that he’s nowhere to be seen at the collage.] She meets both Vlad and Jack at the same time and become friends, and she and Jack eventually start dating and get married after collage, and Jack adopts Flynn as a Fenton.
Vlad and Jack were roommates, and Jack is the kind of man to never shut up about his kids in canon unless he’s ranting about ghosts. So if Flynn was Jack’s kid by blood, Vlad would have known about him, and Jack’s relationship with Maddie with in an hour of knowing him.
I also don’t think Jack and Vlad would have been roommates if Jack was already with Maddie in some kind of capacity before collage. So Jack can’t be Flynn’s biological father.
So if Flynn existed in canon, we and Danny would be introduced to Flynn, even if indirectly, in the episode Masters of All Time. Where Danny goes back in time to change the proto-portal accident, and stop Vlad from becoming a Halfa, leading to Jack becoming a Halfa instead, and Vlad and Maddie end up married.
Remember Flynn would already exist and be 2 years old by the time of the proto-portal accident, irregardless of the accident itself and who ends up half dead in the aftermath of it. So in a timeline where Jack ends up as Jack Plasmius and Maddie ends up as Maddie Masters, Flynn is still in the picture irregardless.
Danny would have at the very least encountered pictures of a redheaded green eyed boy, teen, and eventual adult scattered through out Vlad’s castle. He would have heard about Flynn going off to collage, about Vlad adopting Flynn as Flynn Masters after he and Maddie married.
About Flynn being born from before his mom met Jack or Vlad, meaning he would be his (Danny) and Jazz’s older half brother. Who Danny had no idea even existed for some reason.
Heck, Flynn could have very well been home visiting, or live at home with Maddie and Vlad. Or Vlad or Maddie could have called him back home after a strange young boy showed up on their doorstep calling Maddie mom.
Danny could have physically met Flynn, could have even found himself enjoying his company. Finding things in common with this strange older boy, who was supposed to be in his life, but isn’t for some reason. Things that Flynn did that reminded Danny of himself, reminded him of Jazz.
Maybe it’s Flynn who believes Danny when he says he comes from a parallel timeline, and he accepts this nervous kid as his baby brother. Maybe it’s not Maddie or Jack who tell Danny he has to fix the timeline back to how it used to be, it’s Flynn.
Because how could Maddie ask this boy she barely knows, even if he is her son from another timeline, to change the timeline. From one where she knows that her first born son, the only child she’d gotten to have in this life, is safe and healthy, and if not happy is at least alive. And change it to one where no one knows what happened to him, and she’s gone so far as to hide his very existence from her youngest son.
Even if she’s somehow, in spite of the loss of her oldest son deliriously happy and in love with her husband, doing what she loves. Even if she has a daughter she wants to meet, and a younger son she wants to get to know.
How could she trade the life of the child she’d loved and raised for 22 years, for a boy she barely knows, and the concept of a daughter? No matter how angry she is at Vlad for lying to her and manipulating her into staying with him for years, or how much of a missed opportunity everything with Jack feels like, she can’t bring herself to ask this strange boy who is also somehow her son to change anything at all.
Flynn who’s 22 years old and lived a life full of secrets and subterfuge looks this 14 year old kid in the face, who’s so obviously used to hiding things from everyone around him. And he says, “You do what you have to do to get things back to how they’re meant to be. Don’t worry about me Kid I’ll be fine, no matter what happens. You worry about yourself, and Jazz, and your friends. In that order, alright. Trust that I can handle myself, and we’ll find each other, alright.”
[”You shouldn’t tell Daddy about Mommy’s hobby Sweetie, he won’t like it. And well I’m not hurting anyone now am I?” as his mother toiled away for hours in a secret room he’d been asked to lie to his father about existing.
“Well Champ sometimes we have to keep things from the ones we love to protect them,” as his new (at the time) father burned the letters from an old collage friend named Fenton asking if he could meet up with his parents and talk.]
And when Danny, frantic, asks, “But what if we don’t? What if I never find you!?”
The red haired man smiles, shrugs and bitterly says, “Then that’s just how it’s meant to be. If you had to change the entire timeline for me to be here, then chances are I’m not where I’m supposed to be anymore than you are right now.”
So Danny does go back to the proto-portal incident, and makes sure Vlad Masters is the one hit by the portal. He learns the cause of ecto-acne and goes back to his original timeline. With the ecto-acne situation resolved Danny has something else he has to focus on.
What happened to Flynn, and how exactly was he going to find him and bring him home?
[I also like to imagine that Danny has a picture with the Flynn Masters version of Flynn. Something he shows Jazz when he inevitably confronts her about the whole “Older brother no one in the family thought I should know about” confrontation that would obviously happen at some point.
Danny can’t exactly confront their parents about Flynn, they have information on him locked down tighter than anything else in their life, and Danny didn’t even have a hint of Flynn’s existence before crossing into another timeline.
So trying to learn more about Flynn and possibly how he disappeared falls to Jazz in this case.]
