The Mixed Legacy Challenge for The Sims 3

This is (gonna be) a 10 generation legacy challenge. I came up with this challenge simply because I could not decide what legacy challenge I wanted to do so I did a mix of all my favourite ones. Including Not So Berry, Jam Legacy, Zodiac Legacy & All In One Lepacy! So all credit goes to the creators! ପ(๑•ᴗ•๑)ଓ

Rules: ☆ Finish the rules of every generation, but there are different options for some generations so you can do whatever fits your gameplay preference more!

☆ There is a color for every generation if you want berry sims etc!

☆ There is a family trait that you choose that every generation heir will have. If you can't have a trait because of your family trait you just swap out that one for one similiar!

☆ You got to have this mod to be able to give your sims all the traits I have given them OR you could cheat them when they age up and change them in CAS OR just give them 1-2 of the traits. Would also recommend NRAAS mod aswell because of the money changes etc!

☆ Most importantly do what you want and have fun!

Now for the generations...

Generation 1: Purple You left everything you know behind, escape your past for a new beginning. Finally start that family you always wanted with someone new. You want to change, but can you?

Traits: Family Trait, Kleptomaniac, Nurturing, Rebellious, Frugal Job: Start at the cemetery then switch to criminal OR kleptomaniac full time LTW: Become a master chief OR The emperor of evil OR Possession is Nine Tenths of the law

☆ Master athletic and martial arts skills ☆ Use the kleptomaniac trait to provide for your family ☆ Get with your partner and marry them fast ☆ Get the death flower (perhaps at the cemetery?) ☆ 3 or more children

Generation 2: Yellow You don’t want to end up like your parent. You have dreams, big dreams! And you will do everything to be the biggest star, hopefully your family name won’t ruin that.

Traits: Family Trait, Star Quality, Diva, Lucky, Ambitious Job: Singer LTW: Vocal Legend OR Lifestyle of the rich and famous

☆ Have a band as a teenager ☆ When you become an YA you quit the band to go solo ☆ Master an instrument (guitar, piano etc) ☆ Become a five star celebrity ☆ Marry a big celebrity ☆ Only have one child

Generation 3: Red You lived in luxury thanks to your parent but did that make you a little spoiled? Maybe. you say as you move to a big mansion in the tropics. But you do actually have a job! You are a lifeguard and you save tons of cute tourists everyday. Yeah, maybe you did buy an hotel just to flex but can't be that hard to run one of those?

Traits: Family, Great kisser, Loves to swim OR Sailor, Party animal, Snob Job: Lifeguard then Resort owner LTW: Resort Empire OR Seaside Savior

☆ Have only one child ☆ Buy and run an hotel when you are an adult ☆ Reach level 5 of scuba diving ☆ Have one of those people you saved OR a mermaid be your future partner ☆ Own a house boat

Generation 4: Blue You had a little bit of a rough childhood, sure you were rich but your snobby parent barely gave you any of that rich money so you start working on cars on the side to make some side money, but turns out you LOVE it. You’ve always craved that big family life and you will spoil your children rotten in ALL the ways.

Traits: Family Trait, Family oriented, Slob, Schmoozer, Vehicle Enthusiast LTW: Surrounded by Family Job: Work at a part-time job OR Daycare before you quit to start making cars for a living

☆ Meet your partner in high school and marry as soon as you both age up to YA ☆ Be best friend with all your children ☆ Fix up ATLEAST 10 cars ☆ Throw family parties every season ☆ Buy every thing your children wishes for

Generation 5: Green You had an amazing but messy childhood. You had everything. A big loving family! But that also meant no privacy and you couldn’t do what you love the most without your siblings disturbing, science. So now you just want to be alone.

Traits: Family Trait, Loner, Eccentric, Neat, Grumpy LTW: Monster Maker Job: Science Career or none

☆ Move to a new town and the house should be as far away from the town as possible and never move out ☆ Make imaginary friend real ☆ Have ONE friend ☆ Marry your (only) friend OR an alien/imaginary friend/simbot ☆ Master the inventing skill ☆ Build two simbots optional: have an alien baby

Generation 6: Pink Having been stuck in the same town, in the same house, you need something new! You need adventure! And you want to capture it all. But you also have to get home to look after your plants.

Traits: Family Trait, Daredevil, Outgoing, Gatherer/Green Fingers, Adventurous LTW: World class gallery OR Great explorer

☆ Go to China, Egypt and France ☆ Master the photographing and gardening skills ☆ Complete atleast 3 thombs at each location ☆ Marry someone from China, France or Egypt ☆ Get atleast one VISA ☆ Have a big garden with every plant

Generation 7: Orange You have always loved horses, a horse girl (or boy, or person) if you will. But having your own horses and a big ranch is expensive and your parent wasted it all on traveling so you work smart not hard!

Traits: Family Trait, Equestrian, Horse Lover, Dislikes children, Mooch LTW: Gold Digger OR The Jockey Job: Any job before you get married then quit

☆ Start with 30 000 simoleons ☆ Marry rich and have them mysteriously die ☆ Master the nectar making skill and riding skills ☆ Win a competition on the highest level for racing ☆ Have 3 or more horses ☆ Have twins

Generation 8: Grey Yes you are twins, you look exactly like each other but your personalities couldn’t be more different. One of you got your nose in the books since you had the chance, always got good grades, got the diploma and finally got your dream job. While the other wasn’t as lucky in school, it was just too hard but you still go to university with your twin and you might have not gotten the best grades but you sure had fun and also met your soulmate.

Generation 9: Plum Your parent got you this supernatural book for you when you were a kid about werewolves, witches, vampires… All of it! Ever since then you have been hooked. Can you find it out in the real world too? And of course, your cat is sleeping right beside you while you read.

Traits: Family Trait, Bookworm, Supernatural Fan, Socially Awkward OR Brooding, Cat Lover LTW: Any from the Supernatural expension Job: Fortune teller OR Ghost hunter

☆ Max the writing skill (writing supernatural books) ☆ Don’t have a tv in your house, only books and computer ☆ Marry a supernatural creature ☆ Become a supernatural creature ☆ Own 3 cats or more Optional: Find cure to become human again

The sims 4: Lepacy Challenge

Rules:

* To move on from a generation your sim must complete their lifetime goal or get to level 10 of career (unless specified otherwise)

* Only play in houses you’ve never played in before (can be cc)

* Can use money cheats but you must pay all money back (either using a mod that allows sims to take out loans or by using money cheat to remove the amount of money owed from family funds)

* Any debts you owe must be payed before ending the generation

* Mods are allowed

Generation 1: Base Game (Willow Creek)

- Start your new challenge by making a sim and moving them into Willow Creek!

- Join a base-game career

- Date around! Get to know the townies more

- Become at least level 4-5 in your career before settling down

- Have a scandalous love-affair with Bob Pancakes

- Have Bob Pancakes divorce Eliza and get with your sim in order to live the life he’s always dreamed of having

- Complete your lifetime goal OR level 10 of your career

- Have at least one kid

Generation 2: Get to Work (Oasis Springs)

- Join your sim on their daily work adventures! (Doctor, Detective, or Scientist)

- Have an affair with a coworker (or a couple ;))

- Accidentally get pregnant and have your baby daddy be not supportive

- go through messy breakup

- Level up your photography and baking skill

- Meet the love of your life and settle down

- Get to level 10 of your career

- Have at least one kid

Generation 3: Get Together (Windenburg)

- Play with things for Outdoor retreat and spa day which also came out this time

- New traits like insider and dance machine and Leader of the Pack aspiration

- Join or create a club!

- Meet with your club at least twice a week

- Take on other Sims in foosball, darts, and Don't Wake The Llama

- Have a bonfire

- Level up the DJ and Dancing skill

- Have fun partying with your sim until they’re ready to have a child (either on purpose or accidentally)

Generation 4: City Living (San Myshuno)

- Dine out! The dine out expansion also came the year of this pack

- Move into an apartment and work your way up to a penthouse

- Become a politician or a critic (food or art)

- Go to all of the festivals

- Level up the new singing skill and become a city native

- Make friends and go on a lot of dates!

- Have at least one kid

Generation 5: Cats & Dogs (Brindleton Bay)

- Move to Brindleton Bay and Adopt a pet

- Become a vet and eventually run your own clinic!

- Train your pets as best as possible

- Take in a stray animal

- Complete Friend of the Animals aspiration or level 10 of vet career (if you have the mod)

- Reach level 10 of vet skill

- Mate your pets at least once!

- Settle down and have at least one kid

Generation 6: Seasons (Any World)

- Go on a Jungle Adventure! This feature was added the same year as seasons

- Experience all the seasons!

- Get an umbrella

- Go swimming, tan in the sun, rake leaves, build snowpals, etc

- Celebrate the holidays and decorate your house!

- Have one of the new aspiration reward traits

- Join the gardening career and become an expert gardener and bee keeper

- Learn Flower Arranging and/or Woodworking skill

- Have a cow plant

- Have Vertical Planters

- Please a gnome each time they appear on your lot

- Have at least one kid and have them join an after school activity (scouts!)

- Have your partner tragically die (preferably by cow plant) and become a single parent-never remarry

Generation 7: Get Famous (Del Sol Valley)

- Become an actor/actress and start rising to fame

- Have the self absorbed trait

- Level up in the acting and media production skill

- Become a five star celebrity

- Practice mixology

- Hook up with a director

- Never settle down (or go through a messy divorce if you try ;))

- Meet Baby Ariel

- Hook up with other celebrities

- Have lifetime aspiration of World-Famous Celebrity or Master Actor

- Have multiple baby daddies

- Move into a mansion

Generation 8: Island Living (Sulani)

- Become a conservationist, clean up the beaches and watch your sim’s impact bloom all over the island

- Learn the fishing and snorkeling skills

- Attend a pit barbecue event and befriend the island natives

- Fall in love with an island native

- Become a mermaid

- Have at least one lot trait/challenge that came with the expansion

- Throw a Kava party

- Have child of the islands trait and beach life aspiration

- Find buried treasures

- Reach level 10 of your career

- Have at least one kid

Optional Mini-Series: StrangerVille

- Spend the Season trying to get to the bottom of the StrangerVille Mystery

- Have the paranoid trait

- Have your sims join the military career to get more inside information

- Have an “accidental” child with either a possessed sim or a military personnel

- Solve the mystery to end season

Generation 9: Discover University (Britechester)

- Dive deeper into the Realm of Magic! Spell casters also became available to simmers this year

- Have a spell caster roommate in order to do this

- Pick the college that best suits your sim

- Live on campus

- Cheer on the student body at a school spirit event

- Wear school colors to show your sim’s pride

- Meet other students, party, hookup, etc

- Have one sim be a really good student and another student be an average one who’s not afraid to stay up late, skip class, not do homework, etc

- Have your good student have the Academic aspiration

- Have one of your sims have the research and debate skill and the other one have the robotics skill

- Join a student organization or start a club centered around school

- Wohoo in the shower!

- Earn your degree

- Move off campus (but still in the world) and never stop trying to live that college lifestyle

- Have at least one kid

Generation 10: Eco Lifestyle (Evergreen Harbor)

- Dress up and visit the Batuu! The Star Wars pack became available to simmers this year

- Have the freegan, green fiend, maker, and/or recycle disciple trait(s)

- Have the Eco Innovator or Master Maker aspiration

- Help your towns eco footprint

- Upcycle someone else’s junk and get an insect farm

- Offset your bills with wind turbines, solar panels, and dew collectors

- Level up the fabrication and juice fizzing skill

- Join the civil designer career

- WooHoo in a dumpster!

- Have at least one kid

Generation 11: Snowy Escape (Mt. Komorebi)

- Go to each of the new festivals

- Have the adventurous and/or the proper trait(s)

- Have the rock climbing, snowboarding, and skiing skill

- Have the Extreme Sports Enthusiast or the Mt. Komorebi Sightseer aspiration

- Go to the hot springs and on nature walks

- Fall in love with a Mt. Komorebi native

- Have hot pot dinners

- Spend a few nights in a vacation lot

- WoHoo in the hot springs and the ice cave

- Climb Mt. Komorebi

- Have at least one kid

Generation 12: Cottage Living (Henford-on-Bagley)

- Start your garden of big and regular plants

- Get chickens, cows, and/or lamas

- Have the animal enthusiast and/or lactose intolerant trait

- Have the Country Caretaker aspiration

- Learn to cross-stitch

- Have the Simple Living and/or wild foxes lot challenge

- Meet the Creature Keeper

- Become good at cooking and baking

- Order groceries and have them delivered

- Help out NPCs with tasks

- Own a cat

- Don’t join a career, live off the land and painting or writing

- Settle down

- Have at least one kid

Generation 13: High School Years (Copperdale)

- Become a teenage-single-parent (optional-possible w/mods) and move to Copperdale

- Have the overachiever, party animal, and/or socially awkward trait

- join your teenage sim at the highschool

- Have your teenage sim sneak out of the house using the window

- Have the single-parent be join any career and have them write in their spare time

- Be popular on social bunny

- Go to the thrift/bubble tea shop

- Join an after school team

- Go to prom with a date

- Complete a teen aspiration

- Have the entrepreneur skill

- Have a wedding for the single parent! My wedding stories came out this year

- Have at least one kid or continue the generation with the newly aged teen if possible

Optional Mini-Series: Werewolves (MoonWood Mill)

- Move to MoodWood Mills and get cursed bite

- Turn for the first time with your sim having no idea what is happening

- Have your sim start to discover more about MoonWood mill and werewolves

- Have sim spend their life trying to find a cure

- Join a pack for support and end up becoming an active member; eventually becoming an alpha

- Explore the new werewolf abilities

- Have the fishing and gardening skill

- Complete the Werewolf Initiate aspiration

- Fall in love with a werewolf and have a child together

- Have that child hate being a werewolf

- Have sim make the cure only to give it to child, as your original sim has accepted that they’re a werewolf and are happy with it now

- End Generation by curing child

Generation 14: Growing Together (San Sequoia)

- Settle down and start your family early in life

- Have a family aspiration and play with Parenthood

- Have one parent join the education career and another be stay-at-home

- Play family board games

- Teach your children to ride bikes

- Complete the infant milestone

- Get rocking chairs, keepsake boxes, and build a treehouse

- Complete a child aspiration

- Make sure your children have high childhood confidence

- Have Baby Showers, Family Reunions, and Slumber Parties

- Have good relationships with your neighbors and throw many community parties

- Have a spare room for people to come and stay over

- Have at least three kids

- Grow old with your spouse

As the only decendents (that I’m aware of) of Pol. Tech 9, I’ve opted to move the Darlings out to Jackalope Bend and give @frottana-sims’s makeover of the Smith House over to the LEPacy family.

“You have a great eye, sir! You can’t go wrong with The Decoy Trellis, and nearby trees will surely thank you.”

Even with Max heavily pregnant, he and Odin spend their days at the Sunset Flower shop, reaching Rank 6 this round. Speaking of pregnant-

It’s time for the twins to be born!

Odin holds firstborn, Ben, while Max hoists the first daughter to be born this LEPacy toward the sky. Her name is Zoe, and I’m low-key excited to have a girl in the family after 4 generations of boys.

The rest of the family are doing fine. It’s a crowded house, but that just means there’s always someone around to help with the twins.

Dev, in particular, enjoys the company of his grandkids.

And that’s it for the main family. It went far too quick, I feel like I only just got here! Alas.

It's basically a lepacy, which has of course been done before, but this is the version I'm using. I thought I'd share it here in case it's handy for someone else, you can play it legacy style like I am, play it in order or at random, or if you're like my friend Jess you can start over with a new sim for every pack.
