Snow in the Garden - Another iteraion of my now classic design "Fog in the Garden", with more opaque white clouds. Each die has a dried hydrangea flower,(I gather them all from my garden).
By claw and tooth, from root to thorn, The Old Oak's grove, to wildlings sworn.
The forest rose with claw and tooth, To tear the darkness from its roots.
In darkest hour, a concord made, Twixt harp and wild against the shade.
The towers siezed, the battle done, The moonrise broke the Darkest One
My husband got these metal dice sets from the lovely folks over at @diceenvy and since spring is finally here, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to take some floral shots with these gorgeous dice!
It’s dice time again! It’s really fun getting to design d6 sets and play with my new oversized molds. Here are the sets going in the shop this week (Jan 8)!
A briar edge beauty, it is easy to be lured in by the gentle hue and sweet scent of this freshly bloomed flower. However, it's been said any foolish enough to pick it will know only death as a companion.
These were originally an experiment to test the colorfastness of pink Gerber daisy petals, because I've had other naturally pink florals yellow or brown in the resin--they're often super delicate! But these ones hold up beautifully. I paired them with gold foil, then applied gold and white marble decals to the blanks. The finished set was inked in a metallic white with a subtle lavender flash.
They have a super Kore/Persephone vibe to me (not surprising since I was neck-deep in Lore Olympus when I made them). I ended up making a sister set called Queen of the Underworld that I'll post soon.
