Finished my first 30K! The heat and humidity were definitely a hurdle and got to me a bit in the final 10K but it was a solid experience. Like the day before was aiming to be a bit quicker but it keeps it all in perspective. More work to come and 8 weeks until Kodiak 50K Ultra. Super happy with the improvements I've made with my coach in the last few months and excited to see where the year goes.
Also shout out to @body-knows-best for being awesome and supportive the last couple weeks!
I was soooo slow, but also I was so tired and really didn't want to run at all. So I'm proud I did it! I kept my schedule! I completed another "run" and also I accepted another challenge, so I think tomorrow morning I will run again, although it's not on my schedule, just because I want to. Isn't that something?
