one day im going to create a TV Tropes account just so i can edit the pages about the httyd books, because hoo boy they need a lot of edits.
#theres so much stuff that's incorrect on some of thse pages. like so many details are wrong#theres no big giant mistakes that ive seen but there's a lot that makes me go NO THATS NOT RIGHT YOURE SO CLOSE BUT ONE TINY THING IS WRONG#it makes reading it incredibly frustrating.#at one point it attributes putting a cucumber up snotlouts nose to hiccup instead of toothless#and that's just incorrect enough that it makes me want to put my head in my hands and cringe#the character pages are also super short and miss so much#furious' page doesnt even contain Exact Words#even though that's the first thing he does after meeting hiccup#fishlegs' page does not have Sarcastic Devotee OR Undying Loyalty OR Because You Were Nice To Me even though he's very prominently all of#these things#hiccups doesnt have All-Loving Hero or Badass Bookworm on it#camicazis doesnt have Badass Boast#its not as bad as it was a few years ago. where im pretty sure they just copy-pasted stuff off the movies pages#but still#httyd books
