Oh now I’m very interested in your Top BL list of you want to share!!

Okay, here it is my TOP10, please don't judgee! haha

As I said before, I don't exactly choose my favs just by plot, production or chemistry, it's more about what the series made me feel while watching them. So, if I felt good, then it's a good series for me.

My top 5 series go from 1 to 5 but actually they all have the same mark for me that's it 9.5 out of 10.

CUTIE PIE: The fact that they mention the LGTB+ community and equal marriage even more than once, just makes it for me. OF COURSE Zees and Nunews chemistry takes a huge part on why I like this series so much, Their intimate scenes are pretty much the best ones I've seen on a BL.

SEMANTIC ERROR: I'm a goner for soft enemies to lovers and this series plot was similar to other series but different enough to catch my attention. Again, seohams and jaechans chemistry, just great.

3 WILL BE FREE: I know many people don't take this series as a BL, but...there are two boys falling in love so...it is a BL for me. It's different from what we are usually used to watch and the love story worked better than I expected.

HISTORY 3: TRAPPED: I just love mafia stories, and trapped has actually a logical mafia plot and great chemistry between the leads. The best of both worlds.

MANNER OF DEATH: Police and crime series are one of my favs, so mix that with maxtul and a great plot..and you'll win me over very fast.

Now, from 6 to 10, the series that I marked as 9/10

6. BAD BUDDY: A huge surprise for me, becasue I wasn't very hopeful on ohm and nanons chemistry but wow, the plot was avarage but their relationship is great and the kisses were really something to remember.

7. CHERRY MAGIC: I hated the secondary couple but loved so much the main! It's so soft and cute that I just fell in love with them, mostly kurosawa tho.

8. GAYA SA PELIKULA: it's a shame that it was very short, but I liked it very much. Plot, chemistry and acting were very good.

9. WE BEST LOVE: Liked more the 1st season, but overall, it was a great series. I felt that their chemistry was off charts and the acting was great. Maybe the plot was a little bit lacking on the 2nd season, and the secondary couple didn't make any sense to me.

10. WHY R U: I felt so happy watching this series! I know the production and the plot are not the best, but I had the chance to know Zee Pruk Panich and I'm very thankful. I think that if they hadn't so many problems while filming it (thanks covid-19) the plot would have been better. Ofc saints and Zees chemistry blew my mind.

There are some that have the 9/10 marks too, as Not me, Together with me and long time no see.

I only put on my TOPs the series that I've finished watching. Right now there is The Eclipse that I'm liking very much, but since it's not over yet, we'll see if it goes on my top10 xD.

Just saw someone saying that people should be okay with lgtbq+ stories that are problematic such as weird age differences because "not every lgtb story needs to be heartstopper" (heartstopper is a really sweet and chill gay highschool love story) like WTF. We barely get unproblematic, sweet, pure and diverse lgtb stories like heartstopper. Sometimes it feels MOST lgtb stories we do get, end up being gross and problematic. People be saying the wildest shit.

I'm reminded of when a show or film comes out with a female lead who doesn't have a love interest and people keep calling it "refreshing" even though about half the stories with female leads are like that.

People will act like their favourite thing is in the minority when it really isn't. Especially if it's something a lot of people despise.

There's a reason they need to keep advocating for nasty LGBT rep: Because it never takes off and nobody likes it. You remember that guy from a few weeks ago who was like "give me the nasty stuff! I want trans cannibals!"

Fucking creeps who ought to be on a watchlist.

I am a giant fan of Gen Z in the most important way (the political, gender fluidity/anti-racist/pro-socialist/pro-trans & lgtb rights/politically correct/ in-many-cases-cultural-relativist-endorsing/ anti-climate change/feminist kind-a-way) , and I loathe boomers in every single possible way (except my parents, who are true hippies), but -- let's face it--- as much as one loathes them, they had the artistic culture that went with their beliefs back in their flower power era. Gen Z, on the other hand, have Taylor Swift, the Kardashian/Jenners, Beyonce, Hailey Bieber, Kanye West, and any you-name-it-big-label-endorsed-artist-who-doesn't-even-compose-their-own-music. The worst part: they don't seem to grow tired of any of them. And their 'indie' icon is Lana del Rey, who doesn't even compose her own music :(. Hell, composing your own music and writing your own lyrics seems to be so mind-blowing and revolutionary nowadays when it used to be normal back in the day. It's called real talent.

We live in an era where band T-shirts have never been more popular, yet rock/experimental/electronica/whatever bands in general are basically extinct and have been replaced by prefabricated solo artists whose lyrics are exactly calculated to a T by a bunch of Swedish folks who are in charge of writing every popular song you listen to nowadays. It's a proven fact that bands don't generate short term profit for big labels, because they need years to evolve unlike a prefabricated pop solo singer. Mind you, for being such rebels, you guys seem to be digging pro-establishment cultural icons and very much. Where has all the cultural iconoclasm of rebels with a cause gone?

I'm a late Gen-Xer/early millenial asking, where has the adventurous/pioneering spirit in music, film, art and culture gone? There is absolutely zero Zeigeist for a revolutionary cultural movement in spite of a revolutionary political movement going on. It's a scientifically proven fact that, for instance music, has only become more monotonous with time by using the same exact chords, the same exact way of singing, etc. And it has a reason: The global economy. We live in a system, where companies (including record labels and giant film/entertainment conglomerates) need to grow every year, hence they will never opt for risk (aka experimentation) but instead go for what is proven that sells (aka old formulas).

You guys need to stop conforming yourselves with what big labels/big entertainment conglomerates put in your mouth and should start endorsing more independent artists coming up with new things and not rehashing old ideas.

『ナイトクラビング：マクシズ・カンザス・シティ』公開決定

伝説的ナイトクラブ、マクシズ・カンザス・シティの歴史を綴った初のドキュメンタリー!!

世界の音楽やファッションなど、あらゆる芸術と文化に強烈なインパクトを与え、またヴェルヴェット・アンダーグラウンド、ニューヨーク・ドールズの拠点であり、NYパンク・ロックシーンを生み出したことでも知られる伝説的ナイトクラブ、マクシズ・カンザス・シティ（1965-1981）。

本作『ナイトクラビング：マクシズ・カンザス・シティ』はこのクラブの歴史を綴った初のドキュメンタリー作品である。かのCBGBより8年ほど歴史は古く、芸術家、作家、俳優、ミュージシャンなど文化人の社交場でもあったこの店は、アンディ・ウォーホルと彼の取り巻きたちが集い、デヴィッド・ボウイとイギー・ポップ、ルー・リードが同じテーブルを囲み、ジョン・レノンやミック・ジャガーらも度々訪れ、ピストルズ解散後のシドもステージに立った場所。

マクシズ・カンザス・シティの成り立ちから終焉までの全軌跡を、本作で初公開となる映像やエピソードの数々を交えながら、当時を肌で経験したスターたちが振り返る歴史的にも稀少な映像作品である。

「音楽のムーブメントには、必ず発祥の地がある」ソウル・ミュージックがポピュラーになったのは1960年代のデトロイトであるし、ヒッピーとヘッド・ミュージックは、スピリチュアルの総本山サンフランシスコを中心とした西海岸で進化をとげた。パンクという名で知られるようになった音楽のルーツはニューヨーク、特にダウンタウンのナイトクラブ「マクシズ・カンザス・シティ」にあると、断言してもいいだろう。ルー・リードは、ロックンロールのリリックスへの新たなアプローチを打ち出し、70年代冒頭にマクシズのハウスバンドのような存在となる“ヴェルヴェット・アンダーグラウンド”でそれを結実させた。同時代に登場した“ニュ��ヨーク・ドールズ”もまた重要な意味を持つバンドで、マーサ・アーツセンター崩壊後は彼らもマクシズを拠点とした。アメリカのとある一角で、ヴェルヴェッツとドールズがパンクの道を切り開いた。それを可能にしたのがこの、パークアヴェニューサウスにあるマクシズ・カンザス・シティである。ここで生まれたムーブメントは後に続くポピュラー音楽の波に変化を与え、そして今もなお、影響を与え続けている。これはパンクが生まれた物語であり、それを生み出したナイトクラブの物語である。（ジミ・ラルミア）

本作は、ニューヨークで最もクールで影響力のあるナイトクラブ“マクシズ・カンザス・シティ”の15年以上にわたる歴史を記録した、ダニー・ガルシアによる新たな形のドキュメンタリー映画である。

1965年から1981年まで、マクシズはアンディ・ウォーホルと彼の取り巻きをはじめ、マンハッタンとその周辺に住むアーテイストたちの格好の集いの場となった。画家、作家、詩人、俳優、映画監督、ミュージシャン、モデル…ドラッグ・ディーラーや売春婦までもが、ウォーホルが鎮座するかの有名な“楽屋”に集っていた。この店のオーナー、ミッキー・ラスキンはひよこ豆とボウルに山盛りになったサラダを提供し、食えないアーティストの多くはそれで飢えをしのいでいた。「サラダにはよく虫が混じっていたけれど」ウォーホルのスーパースターの一人で1968年からこの店のレギュラーであったルビー・リンは振り返る。ペニー・アーケードもまた、68年の半ばに、ジャッキー・カーティスと一緒にフリーフードを狙って通い始めたという。

「ドラァグクイーンが欲しがるものといえば、タダ飯だから」マクシズはニューヨークのLGTBコミュニティにとって安全な場所であっただけでなく、世界初のトランスセクシャルDJウェイン・カウンティ（現ジェーン・カウンティ）が2階の小さな部屋で60年代のレコードを回していたことでも有名である。店の常連だったドアーズの広報担当兼ストゥージズのマネージャー、ダニー・フィールズはミッキーにバンドのライヴ演奏を提案し、やがてヴェルヴェット・アンダーグラウンドやストゥージーズ、アリス・クーパーらが2階のステージに立ち始める。その後Suicide、ニューヨーク・ドールズと続き、マクシズは次世代ミュージシャンの革命的拠点となるのである。パンク・ロックと70年代のニューヨーク・ロック・シーンの誕生である。「本当に多様なだった」とエリオット・マーフィーは語る。「フォークシンガーもいたし、アーロ・ガスリーやジョン・フェイヒーもいて、俺もそこにいたんだ」。マーフィーも友人のブルース・スプリングスティーンとともにマクシズのステージに立ち、大手契約を結んだ。同じくエアロスミスも、マクシズでのステージをCBSのトップであったクライヴ・デイヴィスが気に入り、その年にレコード契約に至ったのである。

74年の終わり、ミッキーは負債を抱えそのままマクシズを閉店してしまったが、トミー・ディーンとその妻ローラが、すでに知名度が高かったこの店を引き継いで再オープンさせた。新しい経営者のもと、2階の部屋は拡大され、ブッカーのピーター・クローリーの目利きにより、マクシズは再びニューヨーク・ロックのメッカとなった。 70年代半ばにはバワリーの新しいスポットCBGBが台頭してくるが、映画の中でエリオット・マーフィーは、CBGBが嫌いだったと語る。「ゴミ溜めみたいな場所だった。マクシズは好きだったよ」。

ドールズの終焉後、新世代のアーティストたちがマクシズ・カンサス・シティとCBGBのステージを奪い合い、そして歴史を積み上げていく。ブロンディ、ラモーンズ、トーキング・ヘッズ、テレビジョン、パティ・スミス、ハートブレーカーズ、クランプス、ウェイン・カウンティ、バックストリート・ボーイズ、デッドボーイズなどは氷山の一角に過ぎず、その下には何百ものバンドが毎晩両クラブのヘッドライナーとサポートの地位を巡り、知名度とレコード契約を求めて戦っていた。いつの時代もそうであるように、多くの者は敗れて散ったけれども、70年代はニューヨークで歴史が作られたのである。エリオット・マーフィーは回想する。「あの時は黄金時代だった」まさにその通りだった。「1981年になるとシーンはかなり悪化していた」とジェシー・マリンは語る。ネオン・レオンは「シーンを殺したのはシドとナンシーの死だ」と言う。 81年にはマクシズでスティミュレーター、ミスフィッツ、バッド・ブレインズ、ハート・アタック、レーガン・ユースといったバンドによりハードコア・シーンが始まり、さらにドールズとラモーンズが積み上げた歴史を塗り替える新しいバンドの波が押し寄せてきていた。

マクシズの終わり方は、あまりにもシビアで突拍子もなく、すべてを語ることに躊躇するほどだが、トミー・ディーンとローラ、アトランティックシティ、コカイン、そして偽ドル札が関わっているとだけ述べておこう。このドキュメンタリーで綴られるこの一連の軌跡、こんな最高にクールなナイトクラブがどのようにして出来上がっていったのか、そしてどのような終焉を迎えることとなったのか、それは知っておくべき歴史のひとつであることは間違いない。
