I’m very sorry to report that I haven’t invested too much into looking at FGO’s depiction of Mephistopheles. Idk how much they allude back to the story of him and Faust or how faithful it is to the OG story, but I’ll leave Mephisto fans to make that judgement!

Mephistopheles is aware of the goetic forces and who every single demon is within it. He just doesn’t tell us anything about them like their origins, their abilities, or their weaknesses because he wants to see what happens.

Momo:
favorite thing about them:
She’s a character who’s been through a lot, and her resilience shows. I love how simple yet identifiable her design is, and also her zanpakuto is very pretty.
least favorite thing about them:
*deep breath*
...Every. Damn. Thing. About her character arc. It’s the fact that the most actual development we get of Momo was in the barely-canon Zanpakuto filler arc. I despise how most of Momo’s character before TYBW has been ‘fawning over Aizen’ and ‘damsel in distress’ and she’s never gotten real spotlight or chance to show in the narrative the aptitude she possesses that made her a lieutenant.
She never does anything remarkable in the story. She’s never written to have significant relevance besides being a soundboard for other characters’ arcs. I wish Tite Kubo did her more justice, holy shit.
Mom could have been GOATED. We could have had her actually recover from Aizen’s betrayal and then she could have been given a proper fight against him or done more on the backline to support.
Instead? She gets one-shotted over and over again and is this fucking wilting flower in Toshiro’s arms. I’m so passionate about how dirty she got done.
favorite line:
My favorite piece of dialogue for Momo is during the video call in the beginning of the Arrancar invasion arc between her and Toshiro. At first they’re just talk and then it switches up with them bickering and joking with each other and I loved that; it was a bit of a break for her during her recovery.
brOTP:
Toshiro and Momo! I love the childhood friend dynamic and also how Toshiro grows because he wants to show Momo how self-sufficient and strong he’s become. Toshiro also is there to support Momo’s healing and doesn’t belittle her for the hurt she’s going through.
OTP:
None, really! I can’t think of anyone who I think would be a good fit for Momo romantically. Frankly I think after Aizen she would be reluctant to fall in love or even have a crush for a long, long time.
nOTP:
Aizen/Momo is a block on sight for me.
random headcanon:
Momo is aware of all the people in the Court Guards who have a crush on her. She deliberately ignores them not because she’s still obsessed with Aizen but because she’s just not interested in dating coworkers.

I wonder which Command Codes would work best with Mephy.
Unfortunately most f2p units who aren't specifically DPS's pretty much all share the same list of universal CCs due to how one-note they all are and how bad their fundamentals (hit counts etc) are. Units who are good for taunt CE's like Mpeh, Jason, and Benkei in particular don't really have much to work with in my experience (and believe me I've fcking tried). Pretty much the only one for them so far is Demon Vice Commander which works well for both Jason and Mephy if you love them enough to use them as DPS, but still isn't really great for them cause there's no available SSR Taunt CE that actually gives full atk like you'd need for a DPS.
...that said, as an Innocent Monster servant Meph is pretty good with the 3/4 star bombs on his arts since it allows both arts chains and star generation that stacks with his per turn stars. Low attack servants in general benefit (albeit insignificantly) from Sword of Beginning and End as well.
Curses like Demonic Beast of the Forest work well for flavor and because of various curse stacking niche's, and similarly more niche removal like Coffin of the Fall is in the same boat. Of course removal in general is also good for low rarity units like Meph and Benkei.
Meph is also an Ignore DEF Buster Np servant so Vajra that Annihilates Desire and other ignore DEF CC's are good for their 1 buster in particular to double up on DEF ignoring buster attacks. Drowsy Bomb is still JP only but given its design and both of its effects I pretty much don't need context to guess whose CE it's meant to be.
