my sfw piece for the @ffviimultimania zine! Valenwind my beloveddddd, here’s another shoulder touch for the pile
I’m highly proud of myself for drawing enough of the plane at the angle (with some help from csp assets) to show it was there, still. The background is so vibrantly COLOR but I also like that, too. I think it’s nice to see the two of them surrounded by color. They made it, they’ve become better. They’re just happy and exploring the world for the sake of exploration.
(also Vincent got the sky-themed bento and thermos, and Cid got Vincent the red-purple gradient thermos so they’d “match”)
I had so much fun painting, I’m glad the final result turned out well.

Since I’m here, I’ll post up my wip shots for the multimania zine piece. Just for fun.
I always really enjoy the initial sketch phase, for how free and chunky my lines are allowed to be. It’s messy, it’s fun, and I have fun refining a shape out of the mess. Sometimes it sucks to lose a little bit of the softness of the sketch to the lineart phase, but I stay happy with the process most of the time. More importantly, it’s always a learning experience.
Also, I did in fact do my very best to draw the Tiny Bronco underneath them, even though a good portion of it was gonna get blocked by their picnic blankets and their bodies. alternately, a good way to hide my sins lmao. But I worked real hard and I’m proud of it as much as I can be. :3

happy zine art posting day! This is the above the waist crop for my piece for the @ffviimultimania nsfw zine. The zine’s still free, but now I get to post it on my artblog proper.
The full piece is under the cut tho. (warning for nudity, trans Genesis)
Thank you once again for letting me bully my way into getting Strifesodos into the zine.
The warm lighting implying a fire was so much fun to do. The glowing eyes, too! since birdblack was in the zine, I took inspiration from the way they draw all the SOLDIERs’ and Cloud’s eyes. And the subtle amount of scars was also fun. The degradation scar is obvious, but I wanted soft kissing of the ugly bits aakjsldhf, I really got to indulge myself on this one. And I absolutely love the idea that, despite the fact that they’re camping out in the open, Genesis is such a fussy baby that he insisted on some kind of mattress and he’s so vain that he needed the bright red blanket. What a trash fire, I love him.
And true love is letting someone make your arm go numb by them lying on it I will die on that hill.

And here are my wips for my nsfw multimania piece, which is Right Here. It didn’t end up in the ship tag, and this probably won’t either, but a kid can dream. XD
I do not want to draw genitals so I was absolutely going to give them underwear at one point, but then I thought..... trans genesis tho........ And the lighting will be dark so it’ll be a little bit subtle, but still present. When the mods approved it, I was delighted. XD
doing the blocking out of the lighting colors was really fun. I had to save it in png because the reds turned into jpeg garbage immediately, which cracked me up.

The SFW and NSFW editions of FFVII Multimania will be available to download for free from Sunday 14th August, 2022!
Our zine is brought to you by 69 Multimania crew members, and covers 40 different ships!
Our SFW edition contains 33 full-page artworks and 31 pieces of fanfiction, covering 31 ships (listed below)
Our NSFW edition contains a further 12 full-page artworks and 23 pieces of fanfiction, covering 28 ships (listed below)
Can't wait? For a minimum donation of $7.77, you gain access to the SFW edition of FFVII Multimania and our merch bundle a full 48 hours before public release!
Early Chocobo pre-sale will run from August 4th until August 10th, and orders will be fulfilled on August 11th
