Another Ace Attorney fanfic idea: Fennie and Bratworth travel forward in time to their future selves and go insane when they realize how casual they are with eachother in different ways and then Bratworth asks why (in a kinda angry way) and all Miles does is kiss Phoenix which makes Fennie and Bratworth lose it even more and maybe there’s some angst in there too idk I just like this concept

Stepping into the shop, Fennie took a few moments to look around, eyes wide at all the wares on display. Where did he even begin? He instead stepped toward the counter, hoping at least he could be pointed in the right directions — something for himself, for Feldspar (if the man would even allow Fennie to put him in something other than shorts), and some things for the ever-outgrowing-their-clothes children.
"Ah, Professor Fennie. It's good to see you." She greeted the professor, "I'm grateful that you came by." She noticed that he was was deep in thought. "Can I help you?" She asked.

A letter arrives at Iris' shop, written in very toddler-like scrawl, with neater writing just below it:
"Dear Miss Iris,
Thank you for the nameday swimsuits! I was a snipper and Chal was a carbuncle and we ran around the beach. I also saw a chocobo and lots of animals on the island! It was fun. Chal cried because I snipped him and I had to say sorry.

P.S. Feldspar actually tried on the outfit! Progress! -Fen"
Iris received the letter from the two young Leveilleurs. The words filled her heart with joy. She was absolutely delighted that they had fun on their trip.
She pulled out her personal stationary, the one with the purple border and roses in the bottom margin. She tore a page off the pad and then proceeded with grabbing her quill.
Dear Miss Chrysocolla and Mister Chalcedony,
Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad that you both enjoyed your new swimsuits. It sounds like you both had a wonderful time out at the beach. Also bet those animals you saw were absolutely cute. Though I do think you should be nicer to your brother, Miss Chrys. Being snipped at isn't any fun.

She folded up that letter and placed it in an envelope, sealing it up. She tore another page to continue writing.

I'm glad to hear that Feldspar tried on the outfit. I still demand photos to see how spiffy he is. However, progress has been made.

Who better with which to start my OC poetry series than Fennie of @scholarlostintime!
I would be surprised if anyone with even a passing interest in FFXIV isn't already following @scholarlostintime, but if you're not then you're definitely missing out. Fantastic writing, well-realised characters and a love story (co-written with the equally amazing @loldragoon-ffxiv) in which you can't help getting thoroughly invested.
Approachable, knowledgeable and generous, they deserve every plaudit one could heap upon them.
And, for the record, I'm not sure it's entirely accurate to say Fennie keeps his passions well-concealed, it rather depends which screenshots you peruse...
