Prompt: Unravel

Pairing: Rita/Veridia

Word Count: 150

The most secret skill she possessed, and a skill Rita was very proud of was how easily she could make Veridia unravel. It didn’t take much. Veridia was usually so wound up with stress from her daily life as Head of the Council she was desperate for anything to let her forget it all for a second. Rita always knew what to do, the gift of spending their former years growing up and learning with each other. 

Rita was always there for her whenever Veridia needed anything and she was also very willing to let Veridia take over and return the favour. She had her own stresses with teaching and the younger Mermaids who really seemed intent on destroying her house some days.

Besides they had a lot of missed years to make up for and what better way to spend it than tangled in each other arms all night.

This one’s a little late, I was on holiday last week so it took longer to finish and get checked by my beta, and my writing speed slowed down slightly. I’ll aim for posting once a week, but if that isn’t possible, once every two weeks is definitely feasible. I meant to post this slightly earlier, but I was doing my final checks and adding beta suggestions in.

Chapter summary: Marisol has a bad nightmare, and she decides to go to a costume party with Lucas, and bumps into Lottie while absolutely wasted. I really enjoy writing wild party scenes, so this was pretty fun to write.

I went from Femslash Feb right into Multiamory March busyness so I forgot to do a 2022 masterlist earlier.

It’s hard not to compare with last year, when I did 29 items, but I should give myself a break because my health is worse this year and I was also uber busy with work and prepping for Multiamory March too.
