Giant siren au, where Antonio isn't part of the family he's a human orphan Pepa found on the beach after the family sunk a ruthless pirate ship that kidnapped him. Pepa was the first and only one to find him before comforting him and assuring him she would never hurt him and that when will keep him safe.

Mirabel was the second siren Antonio met. When mirabel went to check on her tia, she noticed a small little human boy in pepas hands. Mirabel spoke gently to the adorable little boy and introduced herself, Antonio did the same. Then he was introduced to the others who quickly accepted him. Julieta just wanted to cuddle the little thing, Augustine and Felix smiled at the little boy and the young adults/teens just washed him with affection, especially Dolores. Camilo did like the little guy but sometimes trys to make it like he's gonna eat Antonio. ( He would never) Antonio feared him for a while but eventually got used to him.

When Alma heard about it, she was abit concerned. But when she met Antonio, all worries left her mind as all she felt now for Antonio is care and love. Never in her life did she think she would love a human like it was her own baby. ( He is now)

The family grew to love little Antonio, Mirabel always hung out with him and played and gave him older sisterly affection when ever he wanted or when ever she wanted. At first Antonio was still afraid of her but now he sees her as his sister. He would cling on to her face and hug her, swing on her hair and hug her giant fingers. She would pin the boy down and tickle him. She loved Antonio, she didn't want anything bad to happen to him. The family new that humans are very vulnerable. So they will keep Antonio safe. He was their new baby.

Pepa always looked after Antonio like he was her own child. As her love for him grew so did Antonio's love for the family. At one point Antonio was being smothered (gently) in kisses by Pepa as he was laughing hard. As he was trying to escape her fury he accidentally says " Mama stop" as he giggled she stopped and he realized what he said, he felt embarrassed he tried to apologized only to be pressed against her soft cheek as she hugged him and said " My baby" Antonio's eyes were filled with joyfull tears as he hugged her back. Pepa herself was crying softly. Happy that Antonio was now hers. The family grew fond of Antonio that they were sad for him to go. But he didn't have a family or a place to go... until now.

Antonio was now apart of the family and he was happy. So we're the family. Other sirens got to meet the little boy and all loved him. He was proof that not all humans are bad.

One day Antonio was tired from playing Pepa was wide awake. She place him on her chest as he leaned on her and fell asleep the giant siren placed a hand over him for warmth. Antonio says " love you mama" Pepas smiles as her heart melts with love and responds " I love you, Antonio madrigal"

This could actually work. I think I mentiomed it before, but giant sirens really like human children, and will care for them, especially if they're found in wreakages or alone. (this also leads to a giant rift in the already rocky relationship between sirens and humans because...sirens have a habit of taking kids off the docks and beaches.)

The family would totally love him <333 Especially Pepa and Felíx. Antonio actually gets really attached to the family too, really fast. They’re the first time he’s felt like he’s belonged somewhere. And the Madrigals love him dearly. It wasn’t a surprise to the others when they found Pepa doting on him and. Well, crying. Meanwhile Antonio was asleep.

Antonio probably can swim underwater for a long time, not only can he hold his breath but he can see pockets of air and uses those to breath lmao

Agustin vs Felix: The Mirabel years

* Have you ever seen two grown men fight?

* Here it is!!!

* So it’s kind of canon that in Mirabel’s younger years she stay in Casita more often, and help clean up

* So it would be Felix and Agustin being her primary caretakers

* Also meant that she would get some of her personality from them

* Clumsiness from Agustin

* Sunshine happiness from Felix

* Mirabel probably owns a yellow skirt

* When she wears it it makes Felix smile while Agustin pouts

* (Pepa has rainbows,and talks about her new daughter, while Julieta tell her to stop stealing her child)

* Felix would call her his gemela, in reference to Camilo and her being twins

* While Agustin would call her his bebeita

* 6 year old Mirabel would be ask the biggest question in her life

* Who’s her favorite in the family? Her tio or her papa?

* This one question brings up arguments

* “I’m her papa”

* “She calls me tio papi, it doesn’t count”

* “She has MY genes Felix”

* “But then why does she look so similar to Camilo”

* Both of them would try to bribe Mirabel all day

* Agustin would play with her, do anything

* Felix would sneak in the sweets

* They would do this until dinner when the rest of the family would come back wondering what was going on

* Mirabel would then declare her favorite

* She would get out of her chair leading away from Agustin’s open arms

* Which got him to pout and Felix to grin

* Felix open his arms for her to come

* The family watch as Mirabel went to Camilo

* “Camilo is my favorite” she said as she hug him. Camilo hug her back and look at the two adults with a grin and a tongue stuck out

* Felix would tell Agustin he declare that as a win for him

* Agustin would say it doesn’t count

* They would all play music together

* They would play so loudly people would think their was a party happening

* When Agustin and Felix was sick, Mirabel took care of them at 8 she knew how to make soup

* The men would never forget how cute she look coming into their respective room with some soup and water for them

* When Mirabel started embroidery around her 9th birthday, she made them the first items possible

* Felix his scarf and Agustin his sock

* As she got better she was the one who would fix their cloths if they got holes in it.

* She made them plushies, a bee for Agustin and a sun with a smiley face for Felix

* They both keep it on the bed with their wives plushies

* When Antonio was born Mirabel was so ready, Agustin call her his big prima

* Felix said that technically she would be more of an big sister

* Starting again another “do not take my child away from me”

* As Antonio get older and more closer to Mirabel she would get more items in yellow

* 12 years old a yellow scarf

* 13; a big yellow bow just like Dolores

* 14; a yellow shirt

* 15; a yellow dress, with Agustin counter acting it by getting more blue

* It was him that bought Mirabel’s signature skirt

* That Mirabel wears it all the time makes Agustin puff out his chest more

* After Casita’s fall, Mirabel lost a lot of her blue clothing which meant she only had her yellow clothing

* Felix was smug the entire time during Casita’s rebuilding

* It didn’t help that the kids kept saying Mirabel was their sister

* Someone even thought that Felix and Pepa did have four kids

* Agustin took down that rumor right away

* He then went and brought a blue dress the same shade as Mirabel’s skirt

* Mirabel wore it the next day

* Felix told her she should embroider it and while she do, wear all her yellow skirts

* Agustin got Isabela to give her a purple skirt

* Dolores got her a red one

* The men are now trying to one up each other

I have no idea if bebeita is an ACTUAL word in Spanish, but I feel like Agustin is the type to take a normal word and turn it cute

Felix and Mirabel have such bright personalities that Mirabel must have got it from someone and that someone was Felix

—Empanada | Camilo x fem!reader

request. [Anon] Hii, I’m here for a request :3 Can you write a fluff one-shot Camilo x fem reader where Camilo present the reader to the whole family and theirs reactions? Bye have a nice day!!

Warnings. Ooc Madrigal family, Camilo is ooc(?), Agustin didn't get screen time, suggestive content(just camilo suggesting to call him papi), Fluff, cliché ending.

Notes. Hello Anon!! Thank you sm for the request! Sorry it took so long I got kind of busy with tests but here it is! I hope you have a nice day too:DD!!

Camilo never found the time to introduce you to his family, Felix and Pepa's Anniversary celebration came around and it seems (un)luck settles with him.

"Mami, Papi, this is (name), my partner" Camilo your lover introduced as you waved awkwardly towards the two adults.

Today, encanto was celebrating an event which you had no clue what was it about, although looking at the matching colours of the theme and the outfit the couple in front of you were wearing, you assumed it was their anniversary.

According to Camilo, you haven't met anyone from your partners side, well except for Antonio who practically acted as your son during your relationship, Camilo was a little jealous at first because your attention would go to his little brother more if he was in the same room as him, but the more it happens the more he thinks your an amazing example of a wife.

The duo in front of you seemed to be enthusiastic and lovable. I guess you know know where Camilo gets those from.

"I hope my son treats you right" the redhead–Pepa which she introduced as–told you honestly as she took your palms in her hands, a small smile on her face.

Her husband, Felix, was by her side sincerely nodding along with an arm on her waist, it was a sweet relationship, like the both of yours, your just more...introverted.

"He does" you started and starred happily at the both of them, your lips twitching upward unconsciously "you have a great son Mrs. Madrigal"

Suddenly, a call of a pair of names alerted the duo of their need of appearance, giving the both of you a smile "no need for honorifics, call me Tia if you would like so"

"Call me papa too!" Felix butted in as Camilo playfully scoffed at this "pa! (Name) probably doesn't want to-"

"Thank you so much Tia and papa, happy anniversary too" you told the both of them, Camilo looking at you dumbfoundedly as the couple in front of looked at you proudly.

"The pleasure is all ours"

"That ended well" you told the curly head beside you, a smile plastered on your features, Camilo on the other hand playfully pouted at you.

Crossing his arms at you "it didn't! How am I gonna live with you calling my father 'papa'?!" You laughed at him, patting his shoulder apologisingly "don't worry, I'm not, let a man have their fun"

"You should call me papi" Camilo smirked at you, while you looked at him bored out of your mind "I would rather not"

Not long after the conversation, a voice interrupted the both of you, directing your attention towards the crowd

"(name)!" A familiar voice shouted from the distance, you grinned at it and kneeled down, readying yourself for a force of impact.

"Tonito'! Hello!" You greeted and hugged the boy, the curly head giggling back at you while you squeezed him tightly before carrying him on your arm.

"How is my buddy going?" You grinned at him while he answered your question with the things he had done with Mirabel, which you pressumed who you will meet next.

Speaking of the devil, a curly head emerged from the crowd, panicking as her hair seems to be dishevelled, however, she seemed to perked up at Antonio's voice not too far from where she is standing, directing her attention to you and the boy happily chatting in your arms.

"Antonio, there you are, I was looking for you" she sighed in relief and Antonio looked clueless but shrugged her statement off.

He pointed at you with a smile on his face "I'm with (name)! By the way, (name) this is Mirabel, Mirabel this is (name)" he introduced the both of you, if you're asking where Camilo might be he is sitting on the floor, bored that you have just been introducing yourself to his family the whole day.

It's his fault that you just met them today.

"Pleasure to meet you" you grinned and placed Antonio down, shaking hands with the female madrigal, she complied and shook hands with you.

"Your Camilo's partner right? You know you should have someone better" she whispered at you jokingly, Camilo whining just below the two of you as Mirabel giggled at him.

"Please, he's the only one available" you joked back, the boy below you shooting you an offended expression, exaggerating it with a hand on his hand.

The both of you laughed at his expression while you calmly told him that your joking, Antonio, who now wanted nothing to do in the conversation, tugged Mirabels hand and waved a goodbye to you, wanting to join into the dancing in the center.

"We should go get food" you muttered to Camilo while sticking your hand out to him, helping him up to stand, he happily obliged, finally happy to spend time with you rather than listening to introductions.

"I heard Tia made some Empanada's!" The boy beside you excitedly told you as he unconsciously held your hand, dragging you along the food stall.

"I never tasted Tia's Empanada's before" you replied, now looking for the tray that stored the Empanada's.

Camilo frowned when he couldn't look for the food he excitedly wanted to taste, unfortunately for the both of you, the food seems to be out of stock, which made the both of you eat arepas instead.

"Arepas taste better anyway" you tempted to enlighten the situation as you realized how bummed out your partner was when the Empanada's were out.

Camilo pouted at you, but lightheartedly chuckled at your attempt at making him smile, although it was a bummer the both of you weren't able to munch on the Empanada's.

"Huh? (name)? Didn't know you were here" A once again familiar voice spoke to you, well you assumed spoke to you as the two of you looked upwards.

Camilo grumbled and visibly pouted at how somebody disturbed your quality time together, not to mention how another introduction will happen right infront of him.

"Luisa! Hey, how are you?" You smiled and fist bumped the taller female infront of you, the curly haired boy frowning in confusion at the interaction.

"I'm doing great! I also followed your advice! It's really fun to see a dandelion grow" Luisa Charmed in, the both of your now engaging in a deep conversation of who knows what.

Camilo on the other hand looked stunned, since when did the two of you meet? And a dandelion? Advice? Dude, how long is this friendship been going? How come he wasn't aware about it?

His thoughts were abruptly cut off by another voice pitching in the conversation.

"Isa! How are you doing today?" You greeted and hugged her back, Isabela smiling up at you, until her gaze landed on a lost child right beside you.

"Oh! This is my partner I was talking about" you introduced as Isabela frowned, Luisa congratulating the both of you of having a healthy relationship.

"You have horrible taste" Isabela calmly stated, although you couldn't identify who she was talking to as she faced the arepas in the counter.

"What-" "I'm not talking to you"

Camilo shut his mouth after he got cutted off, Ouch, what's up with Camilo Hate all of a sudden, You snickered at that while your lover shooted you a glare.

"Anyways, (name) you should teach me how to do flower crowns! I heard you know how to" Isabela excitedly told you, although you assumed she doesn't mean right now as people seems to be calling her.

"Sure, Whenever your free" you grinned while she happily nodded, before waving a goodbye, it was a short conversation but hey, it was an interaction.

Luisa on the other hand, was also needed for something, the piano you pressumed as she also waved a goodbye while running towards a direction to who knows what.

"I got fresh Empanada's" Julieta called out when she noticed the two of you near the food Bruno tagging along with a few rats with him, you grinned while Camilo's eyes sparkled with excitement, grabbing two Empanada's on the tray.

"Sorry I got it late, Agustin got chased by bees" she sighed at her husbands clumsiness, you waved her off, also grabbing an empanada on the tray.

"It's fine Tia, as long as Tio is okay" you smiled up at her.

"Aww sometimes I think your too nice for our Camilo"

Camilo could feel his heart shatter, I guess today really is hate on Camilo day, are you really out of his league? He thought he's the only one who thinks that.

"By the way, this is Bruno, I believe you haven't met him" Julieta Introduced as you nodded along lifting a hand up towards the boy.

"Hello, I'm (name) Camilo's partner" Bruno sort of looked stunned but softly smiled and shook you hand "I'm Bruno, but you probably already know that"

You smiled as your attention suddenly went to his rats, who were hiding in his ruana, Bruno realized this and hid them more, thinking you didn't want to see them "sorry- they are my friends, they always-" and was cut of by you.

"You should introduce me to them sometime, I would love to meet them" you grinned as Bruno starred at you at utter disbelief, his attention suddenly went to Camilo, who looked dumbstruck at what Julieta said earlier, but still listening in the conversation.

"Camilo, take care of them, she's a keeper"

"Oh my, its nice to finally meet you" a soft spoken voice slightly, caught your attention if it wasn't for Julieta looking further behind you, cutting off the telepathic conversation Camilo and Bruno were having

"Wait sorry, are we disturbing something here or?" Mariano, Dolores's partner apologised while Julieta politely shook her head.

"No, I'm afraid your not" she smiled before adding, holding both of yours and Camilo's shoulder by each hand "well, we'llleave the four of you to it, I have to find Agustin before he gets stings again"

"And I have to find Roberto too" Bruno added to Julieta's statement as you nodded in understanding.

The four of you bid your goodbyes, you mentally thinking why every encounter you engage on another one, however, you do not decide the plot of this story.

Once Julieta and Bruno took their leave, Dolores excitedly held both of your hands, she probably wanted to see you for so long but your paths couldn't cross with the things the both of you had to do.

"Hi, I'm Dolores, Camilo's sister and I want you to know that Camilo once peed thinking that you will reject him" she introduced, calmly stating an embarrassing moment like it didn't affect the person involved which by the way was now trying to prohibit his sister to tell more.

"Okay okay, I won't tell her more, But I want you to know is that my dear brother loves you dearly and would die to save you, me and Mariano have been trying to get the both of you together when we saw you play with the children with him"

Completely ignoring her word, Dolores continued embarrassing her brother more, but fortunately for Camilo, its hiss first time the whole day to hear someone say the both of you are meant to be together, like two peas in a pod.

Although the sweet moment didn't last long as abuela also approached the four of you, ah yes the final boss, it may not seem to be for others as abuela stopped being into 'perfection' after the fall of Casita, but to Camilo, getting Abuela's blessing is like winning the lottery.

"Dolores, if you may" She slightly told her, The girl beside you, nodding away and headed to the dance floor with Mariano, the both of them swaying to the music with smiles on her face, of course not before telling you to meet up with her right after.

You looked at Abuela a soft smile on your face, yes your partner may told his issues to you about her abuela before but then again, you understood her perspective but you don't encourage it either.

She softly smiled towards you to, then to Camilo "I'm happy for you Camilo" gently, she took her hand in hers, your partner stunned at what the older female said.

"Please take care of him as I couldn't do so" she softly told you, your eyes slightly blurred on you, it wasn't emotional oh dear no—you just know the history of those words that made it emotional.

You removed your hands from her hold, taking her own and smiled to her, Camilo on the sidelines looking at the both of you, still slightly stunned but very happy, more likely very happy at the next words you spoke.

"I will, always"

An idea for your Encanto one-shot fic:

I'd love to see Félix and Pepa being supportive toward Mirabel before the events of the film (maybe a little while before Antonio's ceremony?) Because pre-canon!Felix and Pepa were the most supportive tío and tía to Mirabel, and no one can convince me otherwise.

We love a dramatic, supportive aunt and uncle 👏👏

Honestly, Mirabel didn't really expect anyone except maybe her parents to notice, but...

"Oh, Mira, when'd you get that dress done?" came Tia Pepa's bright voice. Her aunt was just leaving her room to head to breakfast, same as Mirabel. Her usual morning cloud disappeared as she took in the bright embroidery on Mirabel's dress.

The dress was all different shades of blue: teal, sky, sapphire and baby blue. The embroidery itself was completely different colours: golden candles, pink flowers, green herbs and hearts, purple dumbbells, red waves, mustard-yellow chameleons, little brown paw prints, orange umbrellas and suns, little yellow bees and lavender butterflies, all along the skirt and another butterfly above Mirabel's heart.

"Last night," Mirabel said, feeling oddly shy. She spread the skirt wide in a mockery of one of Isabela's poses. "Um...Do you like it?"

"It's beautiful!" Pepa said. "Hey, Félix, come look at Mira's dress!"

"Oh, no, Tia-"

Too late. Tio Félix came out of their room, just finishing the last button on his shirt.

Typical Félix, he took one look at Mirabel and grasped his heart with a dramatic gasp, pretending to faint against the wall.

"Who is this vision of beauty I see before me!?" he cried. "It can't be my little niece, she's only a baby! This is a grown woman!"

"Tio!" Mirabel laughed, she couldn't help it. "I'm not a baby, I'm thirteen!"

"Like I said," Félix said with a grin. "Una bébé."

Pepa came over to her, smiling. She peered at the butterfly above Mirabel's heart, her smile growing as she looked at all the other symbols.

"This must have taken you weeks, Mira," she said.

"Eh, well..." Mirabel shrugged. It had. But surely no one needed to hear the ins and outs of embroidery.

Pepa giggled suddenly. "Ay, think you could add some of those suns to my shawl? My Sunday one?"

"Really?" Mirabel's eyes widened. "Yeah, I mean- are you sure?"

Pepa's best shawl may have been plain, but it had been expensive. Did she really want Mirabel messing around with it?

"Definitely! You've a real talent; I wouldn't even know where to start on stuff like this. You're even better than your mamá."

Oh...

Mirabel's smile felt a little wobbly as Félix clapped her on the back, once more loudly and theatrically complaining that Mirabel was growing up too fast and soon she'd be taller than him, and he'd be an old man all alone in the corner.

"Nah," Mirabel said. "You'll have Tia to keep you company."

A rainbow briefly appeared above Pepa. "Ay, that's true," she said, kissing Félix's cheek. "I'll bring you my shawl later, Mira, okay? Let's get breakfast!"

You absolutely can! Let's go!

(Warning, LOTS of oc stuff happening in this one, as we're going over 'Felix's family tree')

"Dad! Dad!"

Félix lifted up the plates as Antonio came dashing in, on the back of Parce, his giant as hell 'housecat' (it was a jaguar, but he acted like a housecat). Félix exclaimed past the spoon in his mouth, hands busy setting down the feed for some of Antonio's many animals. He took the spoon from his mouth, simultaneously grabbing Parce's scruff to keep him from ramming into the fridge. Again.

"Mijo, what did I say about having Parce run in here? He breaks more stuff than Agustín. Now sit, eat, THEN tell me what's got you so excited."

Antonio got off of Parce to sit, and dump the contents of his backpack onto the table. He started to nibble his fruit as he spoke in between bites.

"We have a project due at school, and I need your help! We're doing a family tree!"

Félix sighed as he sat down, giving his hard boiled eggs to a random mouse. Can't have shit in the Casita nowadays, but hey, it was his life, and he was happy with it.

"Oh I know this one, your brother and your sister did the exact same project. You should wait for your mami, she's just out watering some crops. I maybe IN the family Madrigal, but I don't think it gets more Madrigal than her."

"But I don't wanna do it on mami's family, I wanna do it on yours!"

Félix, who was practically giving away his lunch at this point, did a double take at his son.

"You...wanna do it on MY side? How come?"

Antonio adjusted his big, white of paper, clearly ready to get started. He looked so EXCITED, he didn't notice his snacks were being stolen.

"One, EVERY grandkid has done it on the Madrigals, so everyone's already seen it. Two, I thought it'd be kinda fun, learning about yours. Mirabel pointed out that no one asks about your family whenever we go out. Now, they will!"

Félix couldn't help but smile. He raised such a sweet, caring boy. He had more heart in his pinky finger, than most did in their whole bodies.

"That's sweet of you mijo, thank you. In that case, I'd be more than happy to help you out. Tell me what you need."

"Well,"

Antonio pulled out another piece of paper, having a list of things they'd need. Félix knew OF this project, but it always changed, if only a little bit.

"First, we need to make a list of who's gonna be on here. Your parents, and your siblings, then me, Camilo, and Dolores. Then, we need to write their first and last names, and a little fact about them!"

Félix gently whistled. Lot of work for a little kid, no wonder he needed help. Félix took a piece of paper and a pencil, and got to work.

"Well, first you have MY parents. My papi, and your Abuelo, 'Ramone Castillo. You know him, obviously."

"Mhmm. I don't think we can put 'has a bad hip' as a fact, though."

Félix snorted, almost mispelling his dad's name in the process.

"No, he'd kick my butt if we did. Let's see here, fact about him. Oh, he used to be a barber! In fact, that's how he met his wife. Aka, 'Abuela Bonnie'. But, papi just calls her 'Bon Bon'."

"I didn't know how that's how they met!"

"That's right, I never got too into detail with you on that. You see, two years before the Encanto was formed, mi mami moved here to Colombia, where she met mi papi. They did hair together, since it meant a lot to them, and eventually they got married. Hair is VERY important to the Castillo family, it's why papi keeps messing with all this hair of yours when he sees you!"

Félix gave him a light noogie, making the kid chuckle.

"Is that why he always offers to braid my hair?"

"That's right! Hair is VERY important to us, so brushing it or styling it is very important. Some people say you can tell who's a part of the family based on the hair. You, mijo, are blessed with the 'Castillo curls'. I have it, your siblings have it, and chances are, YOUR future kids will have them. Not ONE straight haired person in our gene pool."

"Is that why Abuelo has that afro?"

"Pretty much, yeah. He's had that hair since I was born, honestly. He prefers doing other people's hair. Like you know your tìo Julio's braids? He taught him how to do that."

Félix added his older brother to the mix, making sure it was obvious to tell the age order of who was on the list.

"I can never tell if tìo Julio is mad or not."

"Tìo Julio is never mad. Or sad. Or happy. Or...anything, really. We dunno why, he's just always been like that. But he's a strong man. So strong, that before Luisa got her gift, they'd always come to HIM for stuff."

His big brother Julio was emotionally unavailable, but he was hard working, patient, and ever willing to lend a hand.

"Woah, he was that strong?"

"He can't move a church, but yes, he's VERY strong. He also plays the violin. In fact, our parents had all three of us learn to play an instrument. Julio plays the violin-"

"I remember! He played that during my birthday last year, right?"

"Mhmm. He has trouble expressing himself, but the violin helps him. I have my tiple, and my baby brother, 'Mateo Castillo',"

He wrote down his name just under his before continuing.

"Plays the banjo. Not very well though, he hated practice."

"I can always tell when HE'S angry."

"Hes 4'5, he's got a...short temper."

Antonio giggled at that, and Félix couldn't help but miss when his siblings were this age. They'd always laugh at his jokes too. Where does the time GO, honestly? Antonio looked over the list, lips pursed.

"Oh, your sisters though, where do they go?"

"Ah yes- the twins. They're 'papi's babies', and they're younger than all of us. You remember them, tìa Alejandra and tìa Alexandria. Alexandria is older, by two minutes. They’re identical twins, but they're VERY different. One likes blue, one likes red, Alejandra likes peanuts, Alexandria is allergic, and both are uh. Wonderful. Yeah."

Truth is they were both spoiled brats, but he loved them anyway. Papi always treated them to whatever they wanted growing up, making them absolutely spoiled. But, they still loved their family, and at the end of the day, that's all that mattered. Félix just noticed Antonio was doodling a tree already, planning out for the real deal. Smart kid.

"Okay, that's your parents, your siblings, now YOU!"

He seemed especially excited for this part, and it warmed his heart, knowing his kid was excited about his old man. Félix nodded at him, getting a grin just as big as his son's.

"Right, I'm a part of this, that's right. Well I'm 'Félix Castillo'. Er, was, before I took your mami's last name. I'm the middle sibling of my brothers, son of Ramone and Bonnie, and I'm YOUR papi, in case that's news to you."

"Daaad! You know what's not what I meant! I MEANT, what's a fact about just YOU!"

Félix opened his mouth, only to shut it again.

"Huh."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I just. Realized the last time I've been asked that was when I was dating your mami. It's been a while. A fact about just me. Huh...oh okay, I got one. I've ALWAYS wanted to get into wrestling or boxing as a kid."

Antonio looked up at him curiously, and he couldn't blame him, this is the first time he's ever really talked about it.

"I never knew that. How come?"

"I liked the exercise, I liked the good old fashion fist to fist stuff. I dunno, It just always made me happy. And it definitely got your mami's attention back in the day. I've always wanted to play officially, but life happens, you know?"

Antonio seemed to sulk in his seat, to the point where the rats on the table perked up in concern.

"Is it...because you had kids? That you can't do that stuff anymore?"

"What? No no no, Tonito, no, mijo,"

Félix pulled his son close to his side with a frown of his own. How awful, his son under such an impression.

"It's not because of you, or ANY of your siblings. If you told me to choose between a successful career in boxing or wrestling, or the family I have, I'd choose my family. I LOVE my family, and I couldn't be happier. Understand?"

Antonio seemed uncertain, before he softly smiled and nodded.

"Okay, I believe you. I just want you to be happy. I bet you would've been great at it."

"I have great kids. That's more than enough. Now, we putting your mami in this, right?"

"Uh huh."

He put her name on the paper, still keeping his boy clung to him, just so he knew his previous words were true.

"Okay so, your mami is five years younger than me. Her name is?"

He let his sentence drift off so Antonio could answer, and he did so with excitement.

"Pepa Madrigal!"

"That's right! She's Pepa. And a fact about her, where do I start? Your mami loves chocolate, spicy food, she loves to read, she loves you guys, her favorite flowers are dandelions, she's super good at math, she's super strong, history was her least favorite subject at school, she's SUPER good at whistling-"

"Dad, I only need ONE fact."

Félix couldn't help but snicker at that. Not his fault his wife was pretty amazing.

"Okay, ONE fact, I promise. One fact that everyone should know about your mami, is that she tries harder than anyone I know, to be the person people expect her to be. Your mami is a VERY hard worker, Antonio. I mean she raised your brother, THAT'S a gift in and of itself."

He didn't get to see what he scribbled in his notebook before he kept going with the questions.

"We're almost done! We just need a fact about Camilo, and Dolores, then me."

Félix thought about it for a second, before it clicked.

"Oh how about this-your brother's name was originally going to be 'Carlos'. But we called him Camilo instead, because when we said 'Carlos', he'd kick your mami's belly so hard, she wanted to cuss him out. We still laugh at that sometimes."

"Does HE know that?"

"I told him that once, yes, and he said 'geez, no wonder I kicked, that name sucks'. I love your brother, but sometimes I wanna kick HIM."

Antonio jotted that down with a smile, before moving onto Dolores.

"And Dolores. Besides her hearing, what do you think is special about her?"

What WASN'T special about his little girl? His pride and joy? His absolute precious little baby who didn't deserve boys so much as looking her way.

"Hmm...well, she plays the tiple, just like me. Oh how about this, before she had her gift, Dolores hoped she'd have the ability to fly. She said she liked birds so much, especially owls. It's why I call her 'my little buho' sometimes."

"Thought it was because of her eyes?"

"Eh it's both. Okay, last one is YOU. You wanna gimme a fact, or should I?"

Antonio lightly tapped the pencil against his chin in thought, just for a moment.

"How about we both come up with one! And we see who's is better."

"Deal. Okay, you first."

"Hmmm...I like to collect seashells!"

"You do, you do,"

Félix nodded. Antonio loved it whenever Félix went to the market and got him a shell, brought by merchants from far off lands. He has quite the collection, honestly.

"How about...you snore, JUST like your mami does?"

"I do? That loud?"

"Uh huh. But it's cute, just like the rest of you!"

He couldn't resist tickling his side a bit, making him giggle like a madman as he tried to squirm away from him. Antonio scribbled something down, before getting to the big canvas.

"Okay, we got the details, we just gotta draw! You ready?"

"Always, hombrecito!"

"Félix? Félix, ven aquí!"

Félix poked his head into the room. Pepa had to step in and help Antonio, since Félix had to make dinner that night, but the poor little guy had fallen asleep right in the middle of it. He kept trying to put him to bed, but Antonio insisted he had to make it just right. Félix walked into the living room, about to scoop his boy off the floor, when he looked at the project. Everyone had a hand in this, a couple doodles here, a few flowers, and he himself had photos Antonio could pin onto it. The kid was clearly so proud of his work, describing what his grandparents did and how his own siblings were. But the part that made him stop was Antonio's little fact. In it, he wrote:

'I'm proud to be a Castillo!'

And Félix couldn't help but just melt. He gently patted the boy's head, before scooping him up in his arms, holding him close.

"Pepa, put his project somewhere safe, please. I'm gonna clean up after I put him to bed."

Pepa gave him a quick kiss on the lips, smiling at him.

"He's proud of you. And so am I."

"We make wonderful children, you and I. We should make more."

"After you clean up?"

"Absolutely ~"

One more kiss, and he was off to Antonio's room. It was a bit of a walk, getting him up there, but he got Antonio in his little hammock, and draped his blanket over him. He looked down at his sleeping son, and smiled as he gently stroked his face.

"I'm proud that you're my son, mijo. I'll see you in the morning. I love you."

He leaned down to kiss his forehead, gently pushing aside his hair to do so. Apparently he got the Castillo curls, and the Castillo heart.

Lazy Day

Mirabel scratches the back of her head as she walks along the garden behind Casita. The day has been pretty lack luster, no chores to do, no errands to run. She helped her mama clean the kitchen, but that only lasted ten minutes. Now she is simply wandering around, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful array of flowers that the garden holds. She stops suddenly when lumps of dark blue and bright orange laying in the grass catch her eye. Laying down on the ground, their limbs spread out, are Isabela and Antonio. They don’t seem to be talking, just staring up at the sky in silence. Mirabel quirks an eyebrow and hurries over to them. As she approaches, they do nothing to acknowledge her presence.

“What are you two doing?” Mirabel asks, crossing her arms slightly with an expression of curious amusement. Both Antonio and Isabela have blank and almost slack expressions. Their eyes are barely open as they stare at the sky, blinking slowly when necessary.

“Laying.” Isabela response in a monotone voice. Antonio gives a “mhm” of agreement. Mirabel realizes that Isabela’s pet milk snake, Lotus, is wrapped around Isabela’s arm. Lotus seems to be doing the same thing as Antonio and Isabela as he hugs onto his master’s arm, his eyes slowly blinking.

“Okay... why are you three laying?” Mirabel continues, getting slightly more intrigued. If there is something going on, she wants to be a part of it. Isabela raises her arm that Lotus is hugged to.

“It was his idea.” Antonio answers, pointing at the snake and talking in a similar monotone drawl that mimics Isabela’s. Having given an answer, Isabela lowers her arm and returns to her still state. Antonio continues. “We are basking in the sun.”

“Why?” Mirabel questions further.

“It is a lazy day, and thus we must capture the sun’s warmth for our cold-blooded bodies.” Isabela answers.

“Isa, you’re not a cold-blooded creature you don’t need to-”

“Shhhhhh... we don’t question things on a lazy day Mira.” Isabela holds up a finger and then slowly drops it. Her eyes slowly shut, and she gently pats the ground next to her. “Join us.” Mirabel stares at them, a small smile curling onto her lips.

“Why are you talking all monotone?”

“Lotus says on lazy days we don’t change volume, too much energy.” Antonio answers. Lotus sticks out his tongue slowly to confirm Antonio’s words. Mirabel hums to herself. She isn’t doing anything, and it is a lovely day. Why not? She’ll just lay here with them for a few minutes. She plops herself on the ground, taking off her glasses and spreading out her limbs like Isabela and Antonio. A few seconds go by and she realizes that it actually feels quite nice. Maybe the snake is on to something?

3 hours later

Alma walks into the living room, her eyes scan the room but finds no one. She has looked through the entire house and hasn’t found a single member of her family. Where are they? She heard Julieta and Agustin talking about where Isabela and Mirabel might’ve gone, but that was thirty-five minutes ago. Then Pepa was wondering where Antonio and Felix went. Alma hasn’t seen Camilo at all in the last hour. Even Luisa hasn’t been in the house. And where are Dolores and Bruno?

Huffing in defeat, she turns around and decides to check outside. As she walks through the garden, the sun in the sky is at its peak and its warm rays are kissing the earth. She blinks in confusion when she notices a large pile of bodies laying on the ground and staring up at the sky. She walks closer and sees her entire family lazily staring at the clouds with their limbs spread out.

“What is going on?” Alma asks, trying to hide her giggles. She is met with a chorus of shushing from her family.

“Abuela, it’s a lazy day.” Mirabel answers in a monotone voice.

“Join us mama, it is actually quite nice.” Pepa interjects in a similar tone to Mirabel. Alma raises an eyebrow but shrugs and giggles. Who would she be if she didn’t join in? She can’t be the only person not having a lazy day. She walks over to where Julieta, Pepa, and Bruno are laying and slowly lowers herself onto the ground. As she lays down and looks up at the sky, feeling the warm sun on her face, she questions why she never did this before. It’s actually very nice. Bruno, Camilo, and Luisa quickly fall asleep, their gentle snores fill the open air. Alma smiles to herself. What a lovely, lazy day.

I love the idea of Isabela having a tight bond with her snake and therefore goes to Antonio to ask him what Lotus wants to do lol And thus the Madrigal sun bathing lazy day was created.

I am in my yandere phase at 1 am!

Yandere madrigal family!

(Everyone has aged in this so Dolores is in her 30's mirabel and Camilo are 21 Antonio is 15, Luisais is 27-28 Isabella also 30)

I have a oc Bella who has been with the Madrigal family since hers disappeared 😕 😒 so the family took her only for her to know ic their true dark side.

Bella is sorta like Rapunzel but instead of the family using her their protecting her from people I the village.

Bella Madrigal is the artist and youngest member of the magical family. She has long hair that glows when she sings. She also has eyes that glow along with her hair and Alma was more then happy to take the then 15 year old girl in.

After she passed Mirabel took her place and continued what her abuela started, she never let Bella go by herself as she put it "The world isn't safe mija you must MUST stay here. "

All Bella does is sigh in defeat of her older sister figure and say "Si Mira. "

She smiled as she told the others to watch her. Antonio was the most non yandere of them all and he kept it a secert form his siblings and parents "Tonio have you seem Bella?! Mirabel is going to kill me if I can't find our flor!" Said Isabella as she panicked.

"I think she's in your garden. " He lied she was hiding from them again because she didn't like them constantly following her and asking her questions 🙄

"You are a life saver!" She ran to her garden

"Cost is clear." "Thanks Tonio you didn't have to do that. " "of course I did they shouldn't be hounding you like that. "

The elders are the same when someone hurt their arm she was going to use her hair until Julietta ran with a plate of food "No! No heh no no mija mama got it." She said petting her head giving them food and healed up "I had that one."

"No no Bella I told you that have the healing under control." "But-." Agustin pat her head "Now now bumblebee don't argue with your mother listen to your mama and papa."

"Yes papa." He smiled "Good mija now run along back inside. "

Her other parents who were her tio and tia were no help either. Camilo burned his hand cooking and Pepa stopped her and called in her sister "No mija let your mama fix that."

"But tia Pepa-." "Ah ah no mama and no buts." She said "Felix! " "Papa and no buts listen to your mother. "

Camilo pet her head "Listen my chameleon it's ok you are safe as long as your within these walls." "I can't wait to move out and leave." She said they gasped in shock "Bella! Why would you say such a thing?!" Said Pepa

"Because it's obvious I'm too much for you guys! Maybe Tony was right Maybe I am too old to be babied 😔. " They got silent and their dark scary faces showed especially Pepa

"My little butterfly 🦋 who is Tony and why would he say such things?" Said mirabel "Well he asked how old I was and I said 21 and I told him I still live here and laughed at me saying I don't do anything in this family."

They were pissed "Mi amor why don't you wait here with Camilo while we have a word with him?" Said Pepa as they left Camilo held by her as she was upset by his words "Hey it's ok my butterfly everything will be ok."

Weeks went by and Tony went missing his family were worried but the Madrigal family didn't care they took care of him and made sure he never bothered Bella again.

Camilo took care of her and always watched her "My butterfly we must go home dinner will start soon." "Ok." She went home with Camilo and as she got there she felt annoyed because everyone was going to ask her about her day, who did she talk to, who was around her?

She wished they'd give her space she goes to her room as she was at her window seeing the moon then a knock came to her door it was Camilo "Food's ready." "Camilo I want to go outside tomorrow..alone..by myself. "

He looked at her for a moment then laughed "Oh prima your so funny..you want to go outside by yourself? "

"Yes I do!" She said excited as she went downstairs Camilo told everyone Isabella was shocked her little sister, her baby, her sweet darling rose wanted to leave her! "You want to go outside? By yourself? " She said "Oh why Bella look at you as fragile as flor. Still a sappling just a sprout. "

"Oh Bella you know why we have you in Casita? " Said Pepa "I know-." "That's right sis to keep you safe." Said Luisa as mirabel hugged her "And sounded. " Pepa spun her around then embraced her "Guess we've should have known this day was coming."

"Soon one day you'd want to live our nest." Said Agustin "You will soon but not yet!" Said Bruno "But-." Isabella shused her as she placed a finger on her "Trust us my beautiful pet Familia knows best!"

Pepa: "We know best listen to your mamas it's scary world out there."

Camilo: "familia knows best,Listen to your Familia something will go wrong I swear! "

Isabella: "Roughins, thugs, poison ivy, quick sand! "

Julietta: "Cannibals."

Bella: "What?!"

Antonio: "And snakes!"

Agustin: "The plague!"

Bella: "No!"

Bruno: "Yes!"

Antonio: "Also large bugs!"

Camilo: "Men with pointy swords and teeth! " He said shape shifting into a tall man before Dolores hit him making him turn back.

Pepa: "And stop no more you'll just upset me!" She said thundering ⛈

Dolores: "Your big sisters are here!"

Pepa: "Mami and papa will protect you but here's what I suggest! "

"Skip the drama and stay with your papas and mamas!"

Isabella: "Your Familia knows best!"

Mirabel: "Your Familia knows best take it from your family on your own you won't survive. "

Isabella: "Sloppy. "

Julietta: "Underdressed."

Camilo: "Immature. "

Dolores:"Clumsy." She said tripping her as Luisa catch her

Mirabel: "Please they'll eat you up alive!"

Pepa: "Gullible. "

Felix: "Naive."

Isabella: " positivly Preppy, dizzy and a bit hmm vague. "

"Plus I believe getting kinda chubby. " She said petting her under her chin as she pulled her into a hug

"I'm just saying cause I love you!"

Pepa: "Mama understand. We're are here to help you."

Julietta and Pepa: "All we have is one request. "

Pepa: "Bella."

Bella: "Yes mama?"

Pepa: "Don't ever ask to leave this family. "

Camilo: "or this house again. "

Bella: "Yes mama."

Camilo: "And?"

Bella: "Yes brother. "

Pepa: "Oh we love you very much dear. "

Bella: "I love you guys too."

Mirabel: "We love you most."

Luisa hugged her sister as she put her down

Isabella: "Don't forget it you'll regret it."

Pepa: "Mama knows best!"

Dolores: "Remember we know what's best!" Shd said petting her head .

“y/n! get back here!”

you bolted out of your home- at least what used to be your home. it was the house you grew up in with your parents. being able to call it home made you feel so safe, but santiago had to ruin that.

santiago hernandez. who you used to call the love of your life turned into your worst nightmare. the honeymoon phase had been the best, but you hung onto it too much. the places he used to kiss you would be covered in bruises and scratches. his loving touch turned dirty and you couldn’t take it any longer.

why were you back running from him? you were sure you had reached a different town and got taken care of by the so called madrigals.

“wake up,” you told yourself.

“wake up!”

“y/n, hon, wake up.”

a sudden grab of your shoulder was enough to make your surroundings morph back to the room you were left in. you jumped and sat up quickly, julieta stepping back carefully. you looked around and let out a sigh of relief.

“oh, y/n, i apologize for scaring you. i just came to wake you up to let you know breakfast will be ready soon.”

a warm smile formed on your face as you responded.

“it’s fine, just a startling dream was all.”

“may i ask what it was?”

you went quiet. you didn’t want to make her uncomfortable or share what had happened anyway. julieta was still a complete stranger, though you felt safe with her. how strange.

julieta grabbed the side of her dress as she felt the awkward tension rise. she didn’t mean to go too far. she came closer to you and placed a pair of clothes down on the bed. she didn’t want you to keep wearing the same ones you have been for the past few days.

“there’s a hot shower running the next room over. you can come down whenever.”

“gracias senora.”

she smiled and turned to exit the room. you noticed a few burn marks on her arm, must’ve been from cooking.

the outfit julieta had given you was comfortable and fit pretty well. you were confused by the large house as you saw windows and floor tiles moving, but amazed at the same time. the front doors were open and you peeked outside to see a few others gathering food and sitting down.

everything seemed so in order, of course you felt out of place. these strangers took you in but why? you weren’t used to such kindness. eventually you figured out what foods were which and made your plate. julieta waved at you from the table and you went to sit next to her.

the table was filled with the rest of the madrigals. you only felt somewhat comfortable with julieta and isabela as they were the only ones introduced to you.

“julieta, where’s agustin?”

the older looking woman that sat at the end of the table asked. you looked at julieta and noticed her tense up a bit.

“oh, he left for work early. i already packed him some food last night.”

she smiled and continued eating her food. you began to eat as you let out a sigh. you hadn’t tasted food this good in forever, it was nice. you felt eyes on you and you knew it was the other people at the table.

from the time you sat there, you picked up on their names and magic they had. it was interesting and something new to you. camilo and isabela’s interactions were hilarious, and you absolutely loved little antonio. felix and pepa just seemed to be in their own world together. they spoke of bruno and claimed he had gone out to run a few errands. you then noticed luisa and dolores helping mirabel eat. you wondered what was wrong with the younger girl, but felt it wasn’t your place to ask.

you finished up your food as you saw the others leaving to attend their duties. julieta quickly sighed and began picking up the dishes. she looked very tired as you noticed the dark circles surrounding her eyes. you didn’t know what to do, and the least you could do is help her out.

you began picking up the empty plates as the other quickly noticed.

“y/n, it’s fine. i can do them on my own.”

that same warm smile she had last night appeared on her face. you found it cute but quickly shook your head “no” in response.

“i want to help, i’ve got nothing to do anyway.”

the older woman’s heartbeat slightly quickened. julieta could tell you were a stubborn one and knew there was no point in arguing with you. you gathered up the rest of the plates and followed her to the kitchen.

there was a comfortable silence between the both of you. the sink surprisingly wasn’t too big so you had to stand close together to wash the dishes. your shoulders touched and the warmth of your skin contacting with julieta’s made her shiver.

“your family is very interesting.”

you were the one to break the silence. julieta looked up at you for a couple seconds before setting her focus back to the plates.

“ha, yeah. my two other daughters were luisa and.. mirabel. i love them with all my heart.”

“your mother mentioned a man agustin. is he your husband?”

the shorter woman stopped scrubbing the plate then resumed quickly. her tone of voice had changed and she didn’t look up at you after that.

“y-yes.. he is. we’ve been married since our late twenties. he’s changed since the fall of casita, though.”

as you were about to ask another question, the older woman from earlier came into the kitchen. you both turned around and julieta quickly changed her expression. you waved and said a quiet “hola,” waiting to see her speak.

“hola, mama. me and y/n were just doing the dishes.”

“ah, y/n. call me alma. i’ve come to tell you that a few of the workers in town will be building you a house for you to live in. you’re very much welcomed and can stay in casita until the house is finished.”

you formed a smile and quickly wiped your hands to be able to take alma’s in yours.

“thank you so much, alma. i deeply appreciate it.”

alma smiled back and nodded. she was happy to be of help to you as she could tell you were a great person. she then left the kitchen and you went back to the sink only to see julieta finished the dishes.

“y/n.. if you’d like you could come into town with me to help out the citizens since you have nothing to do. i also prefer not to leave you alone here.”

“of course! i’d love to.”

you gently squeezed her shoulder and left to go gather your things. julieta stood there beginning to gather up the food she had cooked earlier.

she was confused with herself. you were still a stranger she just met last night. what was this sudden attraction to you? it was wrong. she loved agustin with everything she had, unless she’d been forcing herself to think that. you’ve shown her nothing but kindness. julieta stuck with thinking it was just the excitement of a new friend. she quickly ignored the thought as you came back down with your bag in hand.

there was just no way she could love anyone in that way except for agustin… could there?

I don’t think I’ll be able to do these every day of the month, but I had time today and threw this together!!!

Luisa knew she was strong.

It was something she’d been told her entire life. She was strong, a person the community would always rely on for her abilities. She could carry donkeys, lift entire churches, move mountains without breaking a sweat.

Yet, she never saw herself that way, for the biggest show of strength she knew was of her family.

Her abuela lost everything. Her town, her life, and the love of her life, gone within minutes. A young woman with three newborn children, she built an empire for herself, all alone. She put everything she had into the protection of her family.

If it had not been for her, Luisa would not have her strength.

Her sister Isabela was strong. Isa had committed herself to being everything people wanted her to be. She took on the brunt of experctations so others wouldn’t have to. She was perfect, for the family, even when she didn’t feel the same. Her sacrifice was strength.

Now though, Isabela’s boldness showed her strength. Just as the bright colors of her dress, her sister has blossomed into a woman that stood for what she believed in. She was stronger for it.

Her prima Dolores was strong. She had been feeling like second place for years, yet she still never held it against anyone. She was in love with the man of her dreams, and yet she would so willingly give that up for Isabela to be happy.. She held a secret for ten years no matter how much it hurt, because she thought it would protect their family. Dolores had a silent strength Luisa herself had used many times.

She saw strength in her mother. A healer, who put everyone above herself. No stone would be unturned when it came to her care for others.

Her love poured into all she could.

Her father was a healer of his own kind, though not in the physical sense (they both knew he could barley keep himself from needing healing.) He was kind and optimistic, always looking to see the best in people. When he could not, when they were hurting, he would stand proudly at their side to get them through it. Luisa nearly cried when she’d heard what he did for Mirabel, hiding a decade old secret to protect his daughter, just as she knew he would any of his children.

He was her mothers healer, too, being the first to tell her she’d done too much. It was her father that taught Luisa the strength it took to be a man.

She saw strength in her Tiá, and her beautiful emotions. Tia Pepa had an iron grip on her heart. She could pick and choose what to display, what emotion was acceptable.

Even more spectacularly, when she let go, Tia Pepa could make a hurricane from thin air! The most beautiful weather from thunder to rainbows formed due to the strength of her feelings.

Tio Felix was strong, in the more typical sense like her. He was one of the men in the town often called to help with jobs when Luisa was too preoccupied with other matters. He worked hard and with skill, being very developed with a hammer.

His real strength, though, was in his smile. He would do anything he could to bring joy to the family, from teasing remarks to beautiful songs. His joy was infectious. Tio Felix, too, could change a hurricane to a rainbow in seconds.

She saw strength in Camilo, those his was harder to see at first glance. Like his father, he hid behind his smile. Camilo was the first to break tension with a joke. He was anyone or anything people needed to be, and he loved his family. He took care of his brother.

Even little Antonio held strength. His gift scenario was filled with anxiety, but he faced in in stride with his favorite cousin. He witnessed his entire house fall, but just a few months later he was back to playing with his animals.

Tio Bruno was strong, even though Luisa didn’t know him well just yet. She remembered the glimpses of being carried on his shoulder, feeling high off the ground. All she needed was the vision, the things he’d done to protect Mirabel that showed his love.

The strongest of them all, Mirabel.

Her sister, her baby sister had single-handedly saved their miracle! She stood up to Abuela for her family, she was the first to show the family their wrongs.

Mirabel led the rebuilding of their home. She built the rebuilding of their family.

She had so much love, no matter how little she’d been shown before. For all the neglect, or hurt, Mirabel somehow turned it all into love. Mira had a gift the rest of them could never have.

Luisa knew she was strong, but that strength didn’t all come from the miracle. It came from the family Madrigal. The family that was messy, broken, but still a family nonetheless.

Her strength came from the family Madrigal.

Fnf Twlight Sparkle Concept Dusk till dawn analysis

(More just a ramble about how awesome I think this whole concept/mod is/some head cannons)

•I like the idea of pinkie being the only survivor if thr ever was an apocalypse in equestria due to her pinkie sense

•she knows that the cartoon virus isn’t actually twilight & her friends so that’s why she still is her cherry self

•Is wearing goggles/a scarf/bandages on her if the virus ever gets her she could use those on time to maybe escape

•uses her cherry self to show pibby & boyfriend that she’s safe

•moves in the same way as glitch/virus twlight to help not make the virus take over in the end of the mod

•says “awesome” when doing well from the smile song to the player breaking the fourth wall

For the Dark Disney World AU (which is quite interesting btw) let’s start with…Mirabel!

TW: mentions guns and violence.

Mirabel is the same loving girl we know but is quicker to cut somebody's head off if you touch her or her family. She carries around a large hatchet that she found and if she can't use that she has a rifle that'll do the job quite nicely.

She doesn't like killing people but since she and her family Denied being one of Mickey's slaves they live far down and away from the "beautiful" gated community. They live in shank town. Where it's kill or be killed.

They still have their house but it's nearly every day when someone tries to steal stuff or just literally tries to take it away. Luisa is sometimes there to help as well but the magic that Disney has is really corrupted and it messes with the madrigals magic. Luisa is still strong but not all the time.

Just like how she was losing her gift in the movie. And it's the same for the other madrigals as well. The only one who still can maintain her gift is Julieta but still not really.

It's often when she defends casita from robbers or psychos, and if it's not her it's Isabela, Luisa, Dolores, Camilo, Agustin, Pepa, and/or Felix. One time a man tried to steal Antonio for ransom and Mirabel shot him in the head before he could even make it down the street.

She told Antonio to cover his eyes though she didn't want to scar the poor boy.

Mirabel is happy yes...She's happy that her family is ok...physically but it's rare when she smiles and when she does it's forced. Her family will make some jokes that'll make her chuckle or snicker a little bit but that's about it. She and Everybody else focus on protecting themselves so much that they barely have time to laugh or enjoy anything.

Her job is to mostly scrounge around and look for things that will help protect the family. She will search for things such as guns, knives, scythes, bombs, just anything that will do some damage.

Oh yeah, they don't live in Encanto anymore, That's owned by mickey. he uses it as another area in the gated community. The only reason the Madrigals still have Casita is that Casita wouldn't allow anyone who isn't a Madrigal inside it.

Casita is a little broken up due to it being dropped down in shank town but nothing they couldn't fix. To me, Casita had to put up with Pepa's hurricanes and storms so I believe it can take anything.

The Madrigals were waiting for whoever came to get the two youngest this time. And they knew someone was coming for them. Antonio was in his silver suit and cape while Mirabel was in a silver blue shimmering dress.

So the Madrigals were waiting for the girl who would pick them up today to get here so they could drive them away. After all Antonio should be using his gift for the community now, and Mirabel was supposed to clean Casita top to bottom.

Instead of one of those strange girls however soon a man appeared. A man in a black tuxedo and wearing a mask appeared and both of the children lit up.

"Papa!" Antonio and Mirabel rushed to hug the man, and if you listened close you could hear Felix and Agustins hearts breaking.

"Isabela." Alma said sharply and her eldest granddaughter launched forward vines to restrain them.

The man merely waved a hand and the vines vanished, making the Madrigals gape.

"Don't try your magic with me. Your magic was given to you as a blessing from the Earth, and it's only because these two asked that I haven't taken your blessing away." The man said giving them a stern look as he tugged Mirabel closer and held Antonio in one arm.

"You can't take-" Alma began but was cut off.

"I am Prince Endymion of Earth, husband and consort of Queen Usagi of the Moon kingdom... Well technically I'm the King of Earth but my cousin Helios manages most of the day to day things. I only handle the big things when need be...and taking away your blessing and powers? That is certainly within my power." Endymion said and he let that fact sink in for a moment before he looked down at his children and smiled.

"Let's go kids. If we're fast and sneaky I think we can grab some ice cream before the royal function."

Anyway, they’re lucky Mirabel and Antonio were there. And even if it was one of the girls, what made them think their attempt would work?? I do feel bad for Agustin and Felix, though in this au and context, I ucan’t defend them. Same with Alma, I can’t defend her in every au 😭😭

Encanto: A male friend of Mirabel help saves the Miracle 6

* Mirabel went over to her seat and slowly sat down

* Her face look calm but Julieta and Agustin could see how nervous she was

* She turn to Mateo and gester to him to sit down

* Mateo took off the bag he borrow from Mirabel and hang it on the side of the chair while he sat down as well

* Both Mirabel and Mateo gave each other looks that screamed for them to do something

* Pepa saw the looks and thought it was their nerves from finally introducing Mateo official to La familia Madrigal

* She told Felix this in a whisper as the sun near her head shine

* Felix had a slight frown on his face

* The conversation he had with Pepa came back into his mind

* But he knew it was time, he also look at Camilo as he realize that his son was also the same age

* Camilo look confused at Mateo staying for dinner

* Mateo felt the presence from Camilo, as he look at him

* Camilo’s face look confused with a hint of a smirk but his eyes look as if he was staring into Mateo’s soul

* Mateo felt like a prey looking like a predator waiting to strike

* Luisa, who used to be slumping in a downer about her gift shifted to her full height staring at Mateo before giving a smile at Mariano

* Isabela gave Luisa the same look as before with the slight nod, she then turn to Mariano and gave a smile at him as she knew what this dinner was about.

* What Isabela didn’t understand was why Mateo was staying

* Antonio didn’t care he was just happy his two favorite people were here at dinner “Mateo can I sit next to you?” He ask brightly

* “Antonio..” Pepa said lightly

* “It fine Señorita, Toñito can sit next to me, I’m always happy to have him” Mateo said as he gave Antonio a big smile

* Casita them moved Antonio sit on the other side making the table even

* Antonio have Mateo a smile, Mateo smiling back, with Antonio at his side he felt less like the rat at dinner for cats to feast on

* “Now” said Abuela with a clap of her hands , the entire table look at her as she began dinner, “the Madrigals and the Guzmans would be so good for the Encanto”

* “Yes yes, then let’s hope tonight is not a horrible disaster”

* Dolores and Mirabel stare off

* Small chatter happen as the family relax, with the night go so well

* “Dolores” said Alma

* Dolores made a squeak and turn away from Mirabel “yes Abuela”

* “Mariano was just mentioning how wonderful you guys were in helping the town after the accident”

* Mariano gave a smile at that praising the gifted Madrigals for their work

* Abuela’s pride shown easily on her face as she thank everyone for the hard work they have done

* ‘But how did Luisa drop the bridge, it never happened before… the miracle is strong’

* Mariano then turn to Mirabel and at that moment Mateo dislike him for the first time

* “Mirabel are you ok?, I saw Mateo carry you out of the wreckage”

* Mateo felt the eyes of every single member of the family

* Luisa who was the closest to him, her eyes were on fire, as she tried to keep calm and not automatically question Mateo’s action

* Mirabel saw the way Mateo tense and look at her family as all their emotions flash though their eyes. Joy, Sadness, anger.. and protectiveness?

* She gave Mariano a smile and answer “I’m fine, if it wasn’t for Mateo I’ll probably be injured”

* Mirabel turn to thank him, Mateo said helping a friend needs no thanks

* Alma then starts off announce everyone to dig in. Everyone eating, starting small chatter among each other

* The only one not speaking was Dolores, she was looking at Mirabel and Mateo, Camilo noticed and whisper a few words to her

* Dolores didn’t say much back, but Mateo could feel Camilo’s eyes burn a hole through his skull

* Mateo was scare, it’s never good when the Jokester becomes serious

* The third Madrigal he is scare of, not his mother that can control the weather or his prima who could break his entire back

* He knows Camilo and knowing Camilo makes his fear worse

* “Mateo, I heard Mirabel embroider your shirt” said Pepa putting the attention back on Mateo

* Everyone look to see the embroider on his shirt that has Mirabel’s obvious signature on it

* Luisa gave a look to Isabela that was not unnoticed by Mirabel

* “When did Mirabel do that for you?” Luisa asked

* Mirabel gave an questioning look to Isabela

* “Around my 15th birthday she did” he answer

* Isabela grew a crown of colorful begonias in Mirabel’s hair and had a smirk on her face

* But the smirk was different, Mirabel notice it didn’t have the same uptight look, but more softer more fonder

* “Mira even did your elbows too” Antonio added as he grab Mateo’s arm and showing the patch

* “That’s wonderful” Pepa exclaim as the room got hotter and the sun on her head got brighter

* The family cover their eyes but laugh lightly at the joy radiating from her

* Mateo used his left arm to shield Antonio from the light as they both giggle

* They then heard a crack sound and look down to see Casita breaking right in between them

* Antonio’s eyes widen, ‘Mirabel was right’

* He knew it, but didn’t say anything since the rest of the family didn’t believe her

* Antonio turn his attention towards the table as Mateo turn to whisper to Mirabel when he made eye contact with Isabela

* “Yes Mateo?” Isabela said loud enough for the warm family to hear as Senora Guzman and Mariano was distracted by Abuela Alma

* Mateo didn’t hesitate “Mirabel..” he started as Mirabel turn towards him

* In the corner of their eyes Julieta and Agustin was watching the interaction wondering if what the family said could be true

* “Mirabel I was wondering if tomorrow you could come with me to my brother’s house? He wanted to pick up some sewing skills and wanted to see if you could teach him”

* It wasn’t a lie, his hermano DID ask, if he could ask Mirabel, but he needed something that could take him off the Madrigals’ radar

* The amount of attention they put on him was a little too much in Mateo’s opinion

* Mirabel smile and nodded as she agree and would show up tomorrow with him

* Antonio knew what he had to do

* “Will he be better than Camilo?” He asked

* Camilo made a Dolores squeak as if he was struck

* “I’m not bad at sewing. The needle hurt me a lot”

* “Papi is good at it” Antonio remarked

* “Well yeah, sewing means you must have either patience” as he look towards Mirabel “or be older” he finished with a smirk towards Felix

* Felix sigh lovingly as Pepa gave a slight giggle

* Camilo changed into his short Felix form and dramatically start speaking

* “Mijo, when I was your age” bringing everyone to laugh

* Mateo made a nudge towards Mirabel as she look over towards the area

* Antonio pointed his smaller finger down

* Mirabel look down as Mateo move his feet to show the cracks

* Mirabel look up to see Antonio’s serious face

* Mirabel then look towards the table and her eyes reach her Mama’s

* Mirabel gave a smile towards her Julieta as she gave her one back

* But on the inside Mirabel was panicking

* What are they going to do?

Yes Mateo is terrify of the family, from 1 to 12 Mirabel is first and Alma is last. Antonio actually boost himself to number 4 in fear because Mateo knows his animals will stomp him. Camilo struck fear into Mateo when they were younger and it stuck with him ever since. Julieta is 2nd only because he is naturally afraid of all mothers

Yes Mateo has a older brother and sister in the Encanto, but they live in separate areas. Mateo was a surprise baby

- He’s a sweet and caring young man

- So it’s no surprise he’s so carefull around you.

- But don’t expect the shapeshifter to not prank you !

- But don’t worry, he will only do so to make you smile

- It’s kinda his top priority really.

- He likes to get you some little gifts, flowers, food (he took extra, don’t tell anyone !), he even tries to make some unique gifts himself.
