a little snippet of my tía!Mirabel and sobrino!Bruno verse :) (no incest you nasties 😭😭😭)
*not edited yet. very rough draft*
*** *** ***
“What did you see, Tía Mirabel?” Bruno whispered to himself, watching the small green glow of the prophecy tablet’s pieces through his mochila. His nerves were wracked and he shoved a hand through his curls, tightening in the strands in an attempt to not give into his habit of knocking. The sound of thunder startled him and he jumped, spinning around to meet the wide green eyes of his other Tía.
“Tía Pepa!” He exclaimed nervously, clutching the glowing bag close, “What are you doing here?” Already a dark, gray cloud was formed above his Tía’s head, and Bruno stepped back, grinning awkwardly.
“I was coming to get some of Tonito’s things when I heard,” Pepa picked up one of Antonio’s stuffed animals, covering its ears as she went on to whisper, “the name we do not speak.” Her eyes flashed with sadness as she looked away, starting to pack a few of Antonio’s things, determinedly ignoring the glow coming from her sobrino’s bag even though Bruno was pretty sure she could see it.
He forced himself to chuckle, laying the bag on his bed. “Tía?” He began, waiting for her hum of acknowledgment to continue speaking. “What if—what if Mirabel had a vision of you? Would it—“ his voice dropped to a whisper, “Would it really be that bad?”
Pepa grimaced, “It would—”
His tío slammed open the door, causing the two of them to jump, “It would be terrible!”
“Felíx!”
“He has to know the truth, Pepi,” he told her solemnly, his eyes focusing on those of his sobrino’s. “Your Tía was brilliant and kind, but her visions showed inevitable things…terrible things. If she had a vision of you then you better prepare because terrible things were about to happen.”
Bruno wanted to protest, wanted to point out the fact that his Tía Mirabel had seen good things as well only for his aunt to speak up, her voice distraught and the crack of thunder above her head sounding.
“We don’t talk about Mirabel!”
“But mí amor!” Felíx protested, waving his hands.
“Her name is forbidden, Felíx,” Pepa hissed in a whisper, her eyes teary and it was as she turned away to avoid his steadily softening gaze that realizatíon struck Bruno. His heart plummeted to his feet and he swallowed heavily.
“You—you think she’s dead?” He asked.
“Yes,” Pepa said, turning to busy herself with packing some shirts. Felíx only sighed his eyes meeting Bruno revealing a look of guilt before he left the room.
It was silent after Felíx left, Pepa packing away items and Bruno struggling with the sickness pooling in his stomach at the implicatíons his Tía’s words and his tío’s lack of words revealed. Her voice only spoke up again after Felíx left, bitterness coating her tongue and tears, unknown to Bruno, falling from her eyes, “Your abuela made sure of that.”

Giant siren au, where Antonio isn't part of the family he's a human orphan Pepa found on the beach after the family sunk a ruthless pirate ship that kidnapped him. Pepa was the first and only one to find him before comforting him and assuring him she would never hurt him and that when will keep him safe.
Mirabel was the second siren Antonio met. When mirabel went to check on her tia, she noticed a small little human boy in pepas hands. Mirabel spoke gently to the adorable little boy and introduced herself, Antonio did the same. Then he was introduced to the others who quickly accepted him. Julieta just wanted to cuddle the little thing, Augustine and Felix smiled at the little boy and the young adults/teens just washed him with affection, especially Dolores. Camilo did like the little guy but sometimes trys to make it like he's gonna eat Antonio. ( He would never) Antonio feared him for a while but eventually got used to him.
When Alma heard about it, she was abit concerned. But when she met Antonio, all worries left her mind as all she felt now for Antonio is care and love. Never in her life did she think she would love a human like it was her own baby. ( He is now)
The family grew to love little Antonio, Mirabel always hung out with him and played and gave him older sisterly affection when ever he wanted or when ever she wanted. At first Antonio was still afraid of her but now he sees her as his sister. He would cling on to her face and hug her, swing on her hair and hug her giant fingers. She would pin the boy down and tickle him. She loved Antonio, she didn't want anything bad to happen to him. The family new that humans are very vulnerable. So they will keep Antonio safe. He was their new baby.
Pepa always looked after Antonio like he was her own child. As her love for him grew so did Antonio's love for the family. At one point Antonio was being smothered (gently) in kisses by Pepa as he was laughing hard. As he was trying to escape her fury he accidentally says " Mama stop" as he giggled she stopped and he realized what he said, he felt embarrassed he tried to apologized only to be pressed against her soft cheek as she hugged him and said " My baby" Antonio's eyes were filled with joyfull tears as he hugged her back. Pepa herself was crying softly. Happy that Antonio was now hers. The family grew fond of Antonio that they were sad for him to go. But he didn't have a family or a place to go... until now.
Antonio was now apart of the family and he was happy. So we're the family. Other sirens got to meet the little boy and all loved him. He was proof that not all humans are bad.
One day Antonio was tired from playing Pepa was wide awake. She place him on her chest as he leaned on her and fell asleep the giant siren placed a hand over him for warmth. Antonio says " love you mama" Pepas smiles as her heart melts with love and responds " I love you, Antonio madrigal"
THIS IS SUCH A COOL. AU??? OF AN AU WHATTT <333
This could actually work. I think I mentiomed it before, but giant sirens really like human children, and will care for them, especially if they're found in wreakages or alone. (this also leads to a giant rift in the already rocky relationship between sirens and humans because...sirens have a habit of taking kids off the docks and beaches.)
The family would totally love him <333 Especially Pepa and Felíx. Antonio actually gets really attached to the family too, really fast. They’re the first time he’s felt like he’s belonged somewhere. And the Madrigals love him dearly. It wasn’t a surprise to the others when they found Pepa doting on him and. Well, crying. Meanwhile Antonio was asleep.

Antonio probably can swim underwater for a long time, not only can he hold his breath but he can see pockets of air and uses those to breath lmao

Tell me something I'll forget (and you might have to tell me again)
Mirabel's ceremony! Such a big day!
Isabela looked up, staring as her sister slowly reached her doorknob
Pedro and Alma swap au
Okay.... It definitely went wrong. Isabela backed away in shock, leaning on her Tía. Mirabel's door vanished right in front of their eyes. Leaving a shining unsertanity in the air. Can the door even disappear? How? In Isabela's long eleven years long life she hadn't seen anything quite like that. The Madrigals stared in confusion, the world was frozen. Mirabel stared at Abuelo with such sad eyes. Several petals fell off the flower crown that Isabela had made for her. Mama and Papa held each other tightly, with wide open mouths. The wind blew in the patio, a right sign of how worried Tía Pepa was.
"Shh..." Felíx patted her spine, trying to make her calm down. "Mi vida, it's okay." Of course, he was the one to stay optimistic despite the situation. Always looking on the bright side.
"Dolly, do you know what's going on?" Isabela leaned closer to her twin-cousin. She was smart, maybe she had already figured out what happened (on simply heard it)
Dolores slowly tilted her head. "No idea. I didn't hear anyone talking about that ever before." Yeah, everyone before got their gifts? Why wouldn't Mirabel have one too? Isabela's grip on her cousin's palm tightened.
Camilo's eyes looked between his parents, sister, and cousins, trying to understand what was going on. He shapeshifted from nerves, gripping Tía's hand.
Pedro shook his head, turning to the guests, mainly Agústin's relatives and family friends. "Today's celebration's dismissed. Please, everyone, go home." The Madrigal Candle in his hands flickered, fading for just a bare second. Flashes of yellow light fell on the floor
With it, the small amount of people who were invited went out of the dark patio, grumbling.
Things spun around really fast. Isabela found herself bored in her room. Don't get her wrong, she was worried. And upset too. But sitting in her room wouldn't do anything.
She suspected that her parents were with Mirabel. Of course, Isabela couldn't imagine how she felt. So young, helpless. Even more than Isabela herself. Tía Pepa and Tío Felix probably were comforting their kids. And heavens knew what was Luisa doing. This left her alone in this predicament. When everyone was busy and she didn't have anyone to ask all the hard questions in her mind.
Isabela walked out on her toes. She knew she had to be quiet if she didn't want to get caught by Abuelo. She hated it, she wasn't Dolores who could move like a ghost. But Isabela would prefer to suffer for a bit than to be found.
Casita creaked its tile, asking Isabela to stay away. The young girl just shook her head, patting one of the pillars. "C'mon, I want to help," She demanded, pushing herself to a weak light, coming from one of the rooms.
Abuelo paced around the kitchen nervously, as Luisa (of course, it's always her) followed him like a duckling. In a candlelight, Isabela could see how pale her sister was. Not like she could blame her. Tío Bruno knocked on the table in this heavy predicament. It was quiet. Isabela peaked through the doorway, but the trio was a bit distracted. It was dark, candles glimmered, dripping with wax. The table was filled with food that wasn't going to be used in the way they planned.
Finally, Abuelo turned to Tío Bruno. "Okay, here's what we'll do. You go take a vision." His fists clenched from bursting nerves. "If there's anything wrong, if it means any danger we must know."
Danger? For what? Pfff... Isabela bet she could help with it herself! And she doesn't even need that stupid shimmering fashionable sword. (tho she had to admit, it looks extremely cool) She can help with plants!
Bruno winced. "Papa, are you sure? I mean..."
"Bruno." Pedro had cut him off. "It's for the family. You have to ensure Mirabel's safe."
It was something they heard every day. They needed to be in safety. No matter how boring it was. It was strange, Dolores had said that other girls didn't live like them. They were going to school, and playing outdoors. Isabela really couldn't understand why they were locked in.
The younger man nodded, nervous. Isabela could see him shrink under Abuelo's gaze. Again, it wasn't something unexpected. Abuelo didn't like it when anyone disobeyed him.
Lost in her thoughts, Isabela didn't notice how Tío Bruno almost bumped into her. She jumped back, startled. Damn, she didn't plan to be caught.
Bruno winced looking down at her. "Kid? What are you doing in here?"
"Don't tell Abuelo I was here!" Isabela begged. She feared to think what Abuelo would do. (He probably won't actually do anything bad, just scold her and close her in her room. She wasn't sure why she was so worried about his reaction)
Bruno's eyes widened, he gestured stop. ", Okay, okay..."
She bit her lip, looking up. With how dark it was, she barely could make out her Tío's outlines. "Do you know anything?"
Bruno shrugged his shoulders. "Gotta see the future for that?" He patted her spine, nervous as always. "Are you worried for your sister?"
Isabela didn't reply. Her mind still was too wild to proceed with everything that had happened. Maybe she was? Or maybe she was upset or mad? Or confused? She didn't quite realize her own feelings yet. "Have a good vision."
It would be better not only for Bruno but for Mirabel too. And, well, Isabela wouldn't leave him alone tomorrow until he confessed of what he saw.
Bruno froze, staring at the tablet in front of his eyes. An older Mirabel stood in front of Casita. A series of deep cracks ran all over the building. But, when Bruno tilted the vision plate, it would be changed differently.
For the cheese's sake, what does it mean? His visions were never like this. It was supposed to be one certain future that was set in stone. Not.... Whatever it was.
Papa would be so disappointed. Probably say that Bruno wasn't strong enough and failed to protect her. Part of him was afraid. Of the disappointment. Of facing his dad. Bruno didn't want to get in trouble for this vision.
And what would happen to Mirabel if Pedro knows? Knowing his papa, Bruno couldn't imagine a good reaction. In the best case she would probably be protected so much she wouldn't be able to breathe. But, honestly, Bruno could imagine Pedro just sending Mirabel out of Casita from fear that the building would fall on her.
He didn't want this to happen. It would break Mirabel's heart. It would break everyone. Bruno knew he couldn't tell about it to anyone. Was he a coward? Maybe. But he wasn't ready to show it. He didn't think he ever would.
The green plate shattered against the rock in his vision cave. Shrads of the green glass were scattered around the sand, slowly falling under it.
The hard metallic door creaked behind Bruno.

Raimi Madrigal revamped and headcanons;
Tumblr media
Raimi Madrigal's actual name is Raimi Emmanuel Botero.
He is Alma and Catalina (Disaster Lady)'s younger brother.
He is younger than Catalina by 2 years and younger than Alma by 4.
He is 89 years old by d3 like his wife would have been.
Raimi's wife being Alejandra Yee.
He is the father of Miranda and Beatrix.
He was in awe when he found out about his wife's ancestral gift (she can turn into a red panda) because at that point he had never heard of anything like it before.
He found out about it a year after he met her, when he was 16.
He married her at 18 and at 21 he was a single father of two after her death at the hands of the ruthless soldiers who invaded their village.
And if that wasn't bad enough, he, his children, and Catalina were separated from Alma, Pedro, and their children when fleeing their village.
They found Pedro's body not long after they found Alejandra's but didn't find Alma or her children until after the events of encanto.
Despite all the tragedy in his life, Raimi has managed to maintain his mainly happy go lucky, optimistic attitude.
His daughters didn't understand it growing up until he told them that if he didn't—that if he lost himself—then their mother and uncle's deaths would be in vain. Which cleared alot of things up for them.
Raimi hasn't remarried and doesn't plan to. One love was enough for him.
He loves making and wearing hats, dancing, taxidermy, making candles, gardening, and fishing.
He never threw out Alejandra's taxidermied animals and took good care of her horse for as long as it lived.
He never made his daughters fear their ancestral gift and warned them ahead of time that it would happen in hopes of lessening the shock.
It kinda worked.
Upon seeing the taxidermy animals coming to life and insulting those in the Casita, he burst out laughing, just knowing that Alejandra would have gotten a kick out of it.
He, Alma, Senorita Guzmán, and Catalina reminisce about Pedro, Alejandra, and Senior Guzmán from time to time.
He was saddened by Beatrix's choice not to marry or have children but supported her regardless because he wants nothing more than for her and Miranda to be happy.
He did the same years before for his older sister, Catalina, when she decided she wanted to be child free.
He was the one to gift Alejandra with the sword she fought off the invading soldiers with. He purposed to her with it.
She loved it and said yes obviously.
The hat he wears 90% of the time is the last birthday gift she gave him.
He is great at giving advice and is always willing to deal it out to anyone who will listen.
He misses his younger days even if he'll never admit it.
Pedro was his best friend and he misses him greatly.
Raimi gets along great with Camilio, Felíx, and Agustín.

BRUNO & THE STRANGER
💚❤️💚❤️💚
One night, after all the chores have finished, all the chairs, tables and plates are in their places everyone had gone to bed. Dolores was the first to know. Naturally. Confused, she heard the trudging, marching, footsteps of several people. She was hesitant at first, after all, everyone was asleep. She decided to quietly go and tell abuela herself what she was hearing.
Wrapping, in her quiet manner, but increasingly louder she thought she might wake the others.
"Abuela!" She pleaded at the door.
To her relief, Abuela Alma Madrigal opened the door and stood in the door way.
"What is it mi nieta?"
"Abuela, I hear footsteps,"
"Footsteps?" Abuela's forehead creasing, trying to listen and understand.
"Hundreds of footsteps Abuela, but they sound far away, even for me,"
"Footsteps." Abuela leaned against the railing, contemplating the situation. She had thoroughly learned her lesson not to dismiss her second granddaughter.
"I'm scared Abuela. It doesn't sound like when the town comes to our Casita," Dolores continued. "And I also hear crying, and talking. I can't make out what specifically, there's too much and it's too... quiet or far away."
Abuela looked across the courtyard of her home, trying to make sense of what she had just heard.
She felt a flashback to over 50 years ago when her own village was fleeing. The fear and anxiety, the exhaustion. She had just had triplets for goodness sake. Her husband had been supportive the entire time... until...
"What's going on?" A small voice piped up spooking Abuela out of her flashback.
Little Antonio was rubbing his eyes, one of his colorful bird friends perched on his shoulder. No doubt the bird had alerted him.
Pepa was the next to emerge, perhaps mother's intuition. Dolores repeated what she had said to Abuela to her mother, her father appearing shortly after.
Luisa was next, and again Dolores was repeating what she had told Abuela, while Pepa and Felíx were chattering about what it could mean, Pepa's anxiety flaring. Camilo and Mirabel emerged and soon the rest of la Familia Madrigal was awake and talking. Suddenly a crash of a glass on the tile floors of the Casita had everyone turn to see Bruno sneaking out of the kitchen with food in hand and a glass broken at his feet. He must have missed out on the commotion whilst sneaking a snack.
"W-what's going on?" He asked nervously.
Abuela turned to Dolores, "Please tell your tonito what you have told us."
As she had recited several times, Dolores told Bruno of the footsteps and voices she was hearing and couldn't make out. As she told him, Bruno bristled knowing what was coming next.
"Bruno," Abuela broke the uncomfortable silence after Dolores had finished and Bruno was contemplating the information he had just learned. "Bruno, I know this is hard for you, but could you please look into this?"
Bruno was quiet, the clattering of Casita cleaning up the broken glass on the tiles.
"Look at that!" Antontio exclaimed, pointing at a bird he had not seen before.
"Have you ever seen one like that, Abuela?" Antonio asked excitedly, anticipating making a new friend.
The bird was black with white markings.
"I... I have not," Abuela answered. She could not recall any kind of bird like it.
And oddly, this bird did not come closer to Antonio. It seemed to be observing them.
"You can come here, I can understand you!" Antonio offered his arm for the bird.
The bird cocked it's head to the side, and cautiously, silently glided down onto Antonio's arm. It started to speak.
"We... are seeking shelter..." Antonio translated the bird's squaks to the family. "We ask if you have space... and will allow us to stay?" Antonio had fallen silent as the bird had finished delivering it's message.
Everyone was looking at each other. First Dolores' hearing footsteps and now this bird they had never seen before delivering a request?
Once again, Abuela Alma turned to her son Bruno, "could you look into this for us please?"
All eyes on Bruno, how could he say no?

Couldn't get past this. I've always enjoyed reading @sketchnwhatevr's headcanons, but this latest compilation gave me a sudden burst of ✨i✨n✨s✨p✨i✨r✨a✨t✨i✨o✨n✨

The situation with Mirabel and Isabela is LITERALLY me and my sister. Almost always I'm in the place of Mira, and @tianamomo is like Isa (what Mira says on the art is my only saving argument 😂)
Where Bruno and Antonio are talking to Julieta, I kind of tried to draw something about the clicks on the nose, but I seem to have lost the idea in the process. It's here only because I like the picture (okay, it was actually supposed to be "boop", but I didn't translate correctly and realized it just now 🙃)

Could you plz do a [Platonic] Yandere Mother Either Pepa or Julieta with a child reader always doing something they aren't supposed to and getting hurt
Like danger is just their thing
Sure! Platonic Yandere Pepa with Child reader ----------------------------------------------------------- Pepa is sure you are going to be the reason she will have a heart attack whenever you get in danger, she just does not want her baby to get hurt in any way and has her other children keep an eye on you so that you do not get hurt as often as you already are. Pepa starts to have a cloud whenever you get hurt and goes to Julieta for some food in order to heal your wounds, but don't think it won't get unpunished. Pepa will keep you near her and make you not do anything so that you won't get hurt and it will take her a few days in order for her to trust you on your own again, before you go ahead and get yourself injured (again). There is a high chance where Pepa's protectiveness will also start to affect the rest of her family, the ones most affected will be her husband and other kids. They will also start to be near you so you won't get injured. Felíx tends to keep an eye out for you whenever you are doing daily task because you never know what will happen, and even though Felíx thought that Pepa was overprotective at first (which she is) he understood where she came from and slowly started to become overprotective himself. Over all Pepa will start to get moody whenever you do something dangerous even though she warned you or told you not to do something in case you got hurt, and if you keep doing dangerous activities there will be a case where you will be locked in your room for a day just to make sure you are not harmed.
