WIP Poll Snippet!
You voted, and I am here to deliver! Here are twenty-three twenty-six (because I have no self-control) sentences from "A Match for Mayday," coming soon to @tcwmatchmakingau. Pairing is Mayday x flower farmer!reader.
His eyes have a faraway expression, and you wonder what horrors he’s seen to make him look so karking tired. He doesn’t continue, and you don’t prod him. Instead, you wordlessly watch the sun paint the sky in a wash of pastel. As the light fades and the dusk creeps in, the two of you exchange occasional desultory remarks, but mostly you sit in companionable silence, drinking slowly and simply enjoying each other’s nearness.
He’s waiting for you the next night, too, and the one after. Each evening, you open up more to him, and the two of you spend hours speaking quietly into the night. You tell him that your favorite flowers, fire lilies, are unpopular with buyers, so you grow a patch of them just for yourself. He confesses that he’s never seen one, so you lead him through the twilight into the garden. In the fading purple light, the fragrance of the lilies surrounds you in a heady cloud.
“May I pick one?” he asks.
“Of course,” you reply.
Most people don’t bother to ask, and you never realized how much it bothered you until Mayday’s courtesy reminds you that you have a right to say no. He plucks a blossom carefully, reverently, making sure not to damage the rest of the plant.
“They’re beautiful,” he says quietly. “I can see why they’re your favorite. Why don’t buyers like them?”
“They don’t last long once they’re picked,” you reply. “It makes transporting them tricky.”
“Then I’m sorry I picked this one,” he says.
“Don’t be,” you reply. “There will be more tomorrow.”
The sun has fully set now, and his dark eyes reflect the pale light of the moons. He examines the blossom closely, taking in the graceful curves of the petals, the speckled pattern at the center, the delicate filaments of the stamens. His eyes rise to your face, and his hands follow nearly unconsciously. His knuckles brush subtly against your cheek as he tucks the flower into your hair. Your mouth suddenly feels very dry, and you swallow without meaning to.
“Beautiful,” he repeats.

hewwo i might spend today on some writing but my blog feeling messy ! so imma go through & delete old ooc posts & maybe fix up my graphics. but also tiny announcements that will be added to my rules . some not major , some kinda important so i would appreciate it if y’all read this ( i will be properly updating my rules when i can get to my computer ) :
🔻 i have health issues i am going through ( my heart has been having SVT episodes. basically this means my hearts being a bit odd & pumping harder then it needs to be ? i’ve having tests done so hopefully we figure out exactly what happened & what can be done . ) which makes me very tired. sometimes i can’t even get out of bed let alone write — so sometimes i will be MIA without any warning . i’m telling you this so no one thinks I’m ignoring them or anything like that .
🔻due to the anon hate i will be keeping anonymous asks closed for a bit . again, my apologies to those who have side blogs & use anon asks to send things in. simply send it from your main & i’ll put them in a separate thread ! i am also sorry to those who maybe be too shy to approach to ask questions but i truly don’t wish to deal with anon hate over petty things. which brings me to my next point.
🔻if you have any problems with me— may they be with how i responded in a thread , how i spoke ooc, or whatever it may be : please talk to me. i will not bite i promise you this but im gonna be 26 next month & i cannot handle people skirting around issues anymore . i cannot correct problems if i am not informed of them ( or at the very least explain myself ).
if i do turn anon back on — it is not the way to discuss issues with me. i understand you may be shy but hiding does not solve issues ( if i miss tagged something or requesting me to tag something isn’t an issues . i will do it even if anon asks. i’m talking about major issues . ) we’re all adults here trying to have fun.
there are things i won’t change — like i’m not going to put nsfw on a side blog but i will tag it as spicy tw or suggestive tw . ray is will always be auto angry at botw / totk zelda’s . ray will hate hylia by default . ( i’ve had ppl me upset at this, thinking their versions of these muses where better & didn’t deserve his reaction . they tried to push ray to be OOC because they preferred it … they quickly left but im using it as an example of things that could have been corrected with proper communication but they never heard me anyway so 🙄)
🔻to my last point : i understand the person in my DNI has deleted . i will be keeping them in my DNI incase they return as they hinted they might . i was informed by their friend to curate my space & i will continue to do so .

Hey! I’m Skipper! Or Skippy for short. This is my main blog where I post about random shit. Most of it has to do with Kyle Broflovski or his family in general. So mainly, if you don’t like him, you probably won’t like my blog, so heed my warning.
I post hot takes, headcanons, and random shit that fits my mood. I vent occasionally but always tag them accordingly, so block #vent or any trigger warnings you may have. I like to be interactive with my followers, so if you wanna add onto any headcanons or you feel like you wanna submit a headcanon to me go right ahead! This is a Kyle centric blog for the most part though so do keep that in mind.

I do roleplay! I do self inserts and x reader roleplays. I don’t do shipping roleplay between the characters though. And I only do double up roleplay though. So keep that in mind.

Absolutely do not roleplay with me if you are below sixteen. Absolutely not. If you are below sixteen you are not elegible to roleplay with me. I don’t want to roleplay with 14 year olds. If I find out you are lying about your age it will be an immediate block and report. I do not feel comfortable with engaging with anyone younger than me. I’m warning you now.
Nothing NSFW, nor spicy things. No making out, no taking off any clothes, no touching private parts, nothing like that. I have bad experiences with that kind of stuff and it can be triggering for me and it just makes me uncomfortable.
I don’t just do romantic stuff but I do platonic stuff too! So don’t feel confined to just romance! I am perfectly okay with self inserting and OCs.
All characters MUST be aged up if you are doing romance.

A/N: This one is a bit short, but the next one is SPICY 🌶
The work week flies by as we’re busy getting ready for pre-production to start next week with Baz on Elvis. It feels so surreal this is my job. Austin and I have been texting a bit, but still not like it used to be. It’s been hard for me to figure out how to be around him. I know we were drunk, but last weekend when he told me he'd fuck me senseless, well I just can’t seem to forget him saying that…
I decide to not text him back yet and head home. I spend the weekend either relaxing at home or at the gym, yet it somehow is over in a flash. Sunday night, I’m getting another glass of wine and decide after spending a weekend alone to show the world I’m alive. I take a quick mirror selfie and post it on my Instagram story. I head back to the couch to continue my binge watch of The Sopranos.
About twenty minutes later, my phone is ringing, and I answer without even looking. I quietly answer, “Hello?” and I’m met with Austin’s voice. “Ana, can I come see you?” Not even a hello… Why is he like this? He kinda sounds drunk.
I giggle and say, “Well, hello to you too!” I hear Austin sigh and he says, “Anastasia, please.” I roll my eyes and answer, “Austin, it’s getting late and I’m gonna go to bed soon.” He laughs, “Ana, it’s not even 7 PM. Let me come over.”
I check the time and he’s right, it’s literally 6:30. I’m a little torn because I do want to see him, but I’m trying to keep some space between us. As I’m debating how to answer, Austin says, “You can’t post a photo like that after not texting me back….”
I don’t answer right away as I try to think of what he means. “Post a photo like what,” I ask him, completely confused. He scoffs and says, “Anastasia, you posted one thing. Don’t pretend you don’t know what I mean.” I’m still confused and then I realize he never even answered me that night he showed up at the bar… Is Austin Butler… cyber stalking me? I giggle at the thought and ask, “Austin, I really don’t know what you mean. What photo?” He groans and says, “Ana, I’m coming over.”
I change my tone as I realize once again, this is boyfriend behavior. This isn’t fair nor what we discussed. “Austin, I’m serious, I’m going to bed soon. Don’t come over. You can’t get all possessive over me when we’re just friends. You don’t get to pull the boyfriend card if you’re just my friend, which we already established is all you are.” I don’t wait for a response and hang up.
I think I was a bit harsh, but he keeps doing this with me. It isn’t fair not only because we agreed to just be friends, but because I’m really fucking attracted to him and I can’t keep talking myself off a ledge with him. I put my phone the “Do Not Disturb” setting, grab my wine and head back to my show. A few episodes later, after I get ready for bed, I decide to check my phone before going to sleep. 3 missed calls from Austin…. 6 unread texts. Oh boy.
“Ana, I’m sorry… Just let me stop by. I won’t even come up.”
“I’m just really drunk.”
“Anastasia, please just answer me.”
“Ana?”
“I know you don’t want to see me, but can you just call me back?”
“Ok, goodnight. At least I’ll see you Tuesday.”
I sigh as the last one was sent a few minutes ago. I want to stick to my guns. We decided to be friends. Him acting like this isn’t fair. I decide not to call him back, but just send him a quick text so I’m not completely ignoring him. I did get mad at him for ignoring me…
“Sorry Aus, I’m really tired. See you Tuesday, friend… xx”
I hit send, double check my alarm is set for the morning and go to sleep. Monday flies by as I spend the day prepping the rehearsal space for tomorrow’s fitting. It’s just to get measurements and test some sample pieces made in various fabrics before they move forward with actually making any costumes, but it’s still really exciting.
I can only imagine how exciting it is for Austin. Tuesday morning, I wake up earlier than normal and get ready for the day. I wear a white tee, jeans and some sneakers anticipating I’ll be doing a lot of running around. I stop by a coffee shop and get an assortment of pastries, some coffees for people I know orders for and a coffee traveler with cups to have available. I get to the space and set up the food and drinks I brought.
I then unpack a few kits for Catherine’s team and as I’m finishing up, I hear someone say, “Well, look who is here even earlier than me.” I immediately know it’s Austin and slowly turn around. He beams at me and I giggle as I say, “Well happy first day in preproduction on Elvis, Aus.” His eyes light up and he pulls me into a tight hug. Without even thinking, I envelope myself in his arms and he hugs me even tighter. I missed feeling him… But Ana, you’re just friends… I pull myself out of his hug and say, “I brought you your iced black coffee, it’s over here. Can I get you anything else?” I smile at him and he looks confused, but then heads to the coffee.
He takes a sip of his coffee and looks around the space. He smiles and I say, “It’s such a big day for you. How do you feel?” He looks over at me and says, “I’m so excited to be here. It feels so much more real now that we’re starting. And I’m so happy you’re here.” His gaze burns on me and I feel my cheeks burn red. I smile, but before I can say anything I hear Will, Austin’s manager, enter with Baz and Catherine. Well, it’s time… Elvis….
After a few hours of going through lookbooks Catherine and her costume team put together, I help her assistant, Greg, pull some pieces for Austin to try on and put them on a rolling rack. It’s just some test pieces of various iconic Elvis looks in different fabrics so they can see what looks best. Catherine looks each one over and then says, “Ok, Austin, are you ready to try on some looks?” She smiles at him and Austin lights up. It’s the sweetest look and I can’t help but smile with excitement for him.
I grab the rack and head towards a room we converted to a fitting room. After I roll the rack in the fitting room, Austin and Catherine head in. Before I can walk out, Catherine asks, “Oh, Ana, dear, my dresser wasn’t able to make it in today, but will be here tomorrow. Would you stay and help me?”
She smiles at me, but her eyes are filled with purpose. I smile back at her nervously, but say, “Of course. Anything you need!”
Great, me….help with dressing…Austin.

“Let me” he said softly, not wanting to break the soft atmosphere in the room, all the main lights were off, but Buck had left on one of their night stand lamps, casting a soft warm light all over the room.
Slowly, he pushed the jacket off Buck’s shoulders and followed its path down his arms, tossing it in the vague direction of their closet; Buck’s breath stutter as Eddie started to pull out his shirt from where it was tucked on his pants and unbutton it, starting from the bottom and finishing at his chest, pulling it open and caressing his chest as he opened it to push it off Buck’s frame.
“Eddie” Buck whined as Eddie’s hands came back to Buck’s skin, touching the firm planes of his abdomen as he made his way to the belt.
Eddie shushed him, stepping closer, just enough to kiss Buck while he unbuckled the belt and started to work on opening his fly “I’m gonna make you feel good, I promise”
Buck nodded and chased after Eddie’s lips.
Eddie kissed him as he let his pants fall to the floor and pushed him closer to the bed, making him step out of them; Buck was only left on his tight boxers while Eddie was still fully dressed, and after having Buck sitting down in their bed, pupils completely blown with lust, and eyelids half closed with desire, he made a show to take off his own clothes as slowly as he had taken Buck’s off.
“Come here” Buck said after Eddie was completely naked, eyes roaming all through his body with hunger.

Okay this might be a little too spicy to ask, so feel free to ignore, but do you have any THG fanfic/fandom characterization/headcanon pet peeves? Aside from I assume one-note Careers. Mine is the way people erase the mentorship bond! I see so much Finnick stuff especially where he tells the writer’s chosen lover for him that they’re the “only one who sees the real him,” and I’m always like, hello, MAGS???
oh hard agree, plus I'm not a super fan of that even without the mentor thing. like don't get me wrong I love a good, codependent fictional relationship that would be absolutely destructive in real life (delicious) but everyone should have more than one person. there can be MULTIPLE codependent relationships! codependent fractal! a weird group of people with a weird shared experience that nobody else can hope to understand. FEED ME THAT LIKE SKITTLES.
(don't come for me about my fictional preferences. leave me and the fellowship ALONE)
on a similar note I also used to get tired of how everyone made all the mentors sexually and/or romantically involved with their victors (like Beetee/Wiress, Brutus/Enobaria or Finnick/Annie where he's her mentor, whoever.) like no shade to people who read or write it BUT I feel like there was a weird period where no one could envision ANY close relationship without writing it into a pairing. Maybe it's my aroace coming to the surface but I got a bit grumpy. So I wrote an endless permutation of complicated, intense relationships with absolutely no sex or romance aspect. what are ya gonna do about it!
one of my less controversial peeves is "peeta starts out dating glimmer who is vapid and promiscuous and cheats on him so he can get together with katniss who is perfect" like an early taylor swift song. it was E V E R Y W H E R E for a while. if there was a modern AU, Peeta was dating Mean Bitch Glimmer and she'd get her comeuppance around the end of Act I. why. please. one of Katniss' actual, literal, canon character arcs is realizing Glimmer was a person who was forced to act the way she was (her interview dress chosen by her adult stylist was SEE-THROUGH) and she died, alone, for an audience who immediately forgot she existed. and you're gonna "not like other girls" her for your wish-fulfillment barista AU. cool.
on the other end of the scale -- and this is a very personal trigger, so I don't blame anyone for liking it -- the District 5 repro girls / thin girls fanon that was rampant in 2012-2014 fanfic. a bunch of people incorporated it into their stuff but it is such a violent, visceral nope for me that if a story uses it I close the tab immediately.
characterization-wise, there is a fic i still see floating around where rue makes me scream. listen. rue is the oldest of 6 kids AND her father died when she was even younger than katniss. she has been working full time to support her family in a job where you are literally murdered for mistakes since she was nine years old. rue is calculating and intelligent, she tells katniss that peeta is "okay" when she knows he's bleeding to death because if katniss realizes he's dying she'll leave. PLEASE. respect the hustle, the girl is not naive.
ok you did say spicy so i will give you ONE (1) hot take. it drives me bananas when fanfic uses Cato Hadley and Clove Kentwell. they first appeared on wattpad in 2010, when fandom tossed a few names around for a while and hadley and kentwell were the ones that stuck. but IT'S NOT THEIR REAL LAST NAMES STOP ADDING THEM TO THE WIKIS AND TELLING PEOPLE IT'S CANON AAAAAAAAA.
there's my one petty hunger games post, lol. i am pretty live and let live, generally if I don't like something I scroll past or filter it out. the annoyance happens when it's stuff like, trying to read fic about Careers and the first page of results is just them background tagged in an ensemble fic about the main characters -- but that's a minor character in juggernaut fandom problem, that's EVERYWHERE. i do the "search within results summary: name" trick to solve that

First fic review ever, I read a kinda popoular chiscara fanfic, here's my take on it!

Scara fucks Dottore (it isn’t as bad as you think), No Beta We Die Like La Signora (Fuck You Genshin Impact)
Plot:
“I’m convinced he thinks you two are flirting.” “He’d have to be an idiot to think that,” Scaramouche replies, appalled by the thought. And then it hits him like a freight train. Childe is an idiot.
In which Scaramouche has the misfortune of being college roommates with his arch-nemesis.
Positive points: the banter between Scara and Childe is really nice to read, funny, with witty remarks, the build up is done fairly nice, I can’t argue with that; scara has other friends in the fics and their relationship is handled in a funny way, I’ve found myself laughing many times, kazuscara friendship is really cute, the spicy part was overall nicely written.
Negative points: sometimes the register is too colloquial for my likings, scara’s friends look like they have nothing to talk about beside the main couple, there are many innuendos even when not needed, it felt unrealistic at some points, like when Scara jerks off and talks out loud a lot just so that Childe can catch him red handed, plus I’m not a fan of the daddy kink sorry guys, and the love declaration at the end feels a bit out of place.

Childe wasn’t just a pain in his ass, he was the pain in his ass—no innuendo implied.

Would recommend? depends on what you like. All in all it’s a fun ride that’s not too long, some parts are a bit cringe or unnecessary, while others are there just for plot reason, and even if I didn’t personally liked the smut part, if you find it appealing, go check it out.

- I only Scarlet and Violet and Sun and Moon for right now, though that’ll expand eventually!
- I write for the gym leaders (minus Iono), the elite four, the teachers, and the professors.
- When it comes to shipping I only do x reader content. I’ve never been super big on shipping, but I enjoy from the sidelines! However, I am open to doing general headcanons about canon characters! If two characters would be friends, a group of characters doing a specific activity together, etc.
- Unless otherwise specified, I only write reader as gender neutral. I’m totally open to writing reader as gendered though, just let me know in your request!
- In relation to the above point, I will happily write trans readers, and canon characters as trans as well! More than happy to even! There’s not enough of it.
- Polyamory!
- Romantic, platonic, or even queer platonic scenarios. I’m also open to found family. Best trope is character seeing a kid and being like “Is anyone gonna adopt that?” but not wait for an answer.
- I’m open to doing NSFW. I’ve never done it before, so it may take me a sec to get around to at first.
- Open to writing for heavier topics regarding mental health, or health in general, as long as I feel like I can do it justice, and it’s not gratuitous angst. I’ll probably pull from my own experiences if it’s something I struggle with as well, or will ask people I know.
- Keep requests to like, 3 or 4 per person each time the inbox is open. I tend to close it around 20 or so requests, just for my own sake and I wanna make sure everyone who wants to gets a chance to send something in can! Thank you :D
- Crossovers! Total guilty pleasure of mine. I think they’re super fun and silly. Examples could be: Character with S/O who is a witch like in The Owl house, how would Character react to This Media, how would the Gym Leaders fare on Total Drama Island. Idk, go ham bro. I indulge in a lot of media, so there’s really no list of fandoms I’ll do this for. Just send something in and I’ll see what I can do!
Note: I won’t do crossover requests for the following fandoms: Harry Potter, Hazbin Hotel, or Attack on Titan. Might add more over time if I remember? I’d just rather not make content for any of these properties.
That being said, this is just for funsies, so I totally reserve the right to delete a request if it makes me uncomfortable or I uhhh just can’t think of anything for it.

my fanfiction icks (but i’m just a little bit picky)
(some of these are common and some are just my personal preference but this might be helpful if you want to get into fanfiction writing)
- writing is one long paragraph with no gaps
- first person pov
- main ship starts immediately acting in love as soon as they meet (especially if it’s wildly out of character for them)
- not capitalizing things that should be capitalized (repeatedly)
- some scenes are really slow and some scenes are really fast
- characters getting so developed throughout the story that they’re completely different from how they originally were (this is usually only in long fics and i don’t necessarily mind it if it’s done well but i haven’t seen it done very well yet)
- fics that are complete not being marked completed
- certain ships (even minor ones) not being tagged
- dubcon for no reason
- weird words for genitalia (it’s funny but kind of throws me off when the you-know-what is called a “manhood”)
- simply describing what a character is doing and not writing their emotions or reasons for doing so (it makes the story feel very robotic)
- the fic immediately starts with the main ship meeting
- au’s that change their personalities a lot
- genderbending one person in a gay relationship to make it straight
- writing very overly descriptive and convoluted paragraphs with only a little bit of dialogue in between
- fics with OCs as the main character (if you like these that’s fine obviously, it’s just not usually for me)
- writing unrealistic spicy scenes (i’m not gonna go into too much detail but do your research first please for the love of god)
- suddenly introducing a big plot point late in the story (i love a good twist but please have it feel like you’re not just getting bored of your story)
- aging down adult characters into high schoolers and then making them do spicy stuff (*cough* avengers *cough*)
- aging up small children to make them do spicy stuff (*cough* south park *cough*)
- glorifying/glamorizing abusive/toxic situations (don’t get me wrong i like reading toxic ships but please don’t try to make it seem like it’s healthy or okay when it’s very much not)
- having them get drunk after only a couple sips/having them be completely fine after drinking far more than a normal amount

Hello everyone!! I finally made a side blog for my fanfictions/drabbles/etc., so I will be posting that kind of stuff over here! If I follow you back, I will be coming from @prinxejeanne (that is my main blog). I have an Ao3 account (@ deltaroni) and an inactive Wattpad account (ask for this one).
I write for JSE and Markiplier egos, but there are certain egos that I will not write for (these will be listed below). I’m willing to write fluff, angst, and smut (specific boundaries for these will be listed below as well).

Currently reading: The Sweet Far Thing by Libba Bray, from the Gemma Doyle trilogy.
Last song I listened to: Atlantis by SHINee!
Last series I watched: Just finished Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Andrew and I are making our way through Good Omens and the new season of What We Do in the Shadows. I’m also sloooooowly making my way through Descendants of the Sun for Onew, but military stuff is not only morally reprehensible to me, but also just boring to watch, plus I hate BOTH main couples, so. It’s a trudge. T_T
Last movie I watched: I thiiiink........ The Lighthouse? Or Werewolves Within? One of those two.
Sweet/Spicy/Savory: Savory! Anything with mushrooms. Lately I’m a big fan of some spice too even though I have the world’s worst stomach. Yopokki brand tteokbokki with jjajang sauce is my favorite lunch, it’s a good blend of spicy and savory!
Currently working on: Oh gosh. Uhh. Okay, buckle up: For writing, I’m working on 3 original manuscripts (5 if you consider one is a first book in a trilogy) -- One YA coming of age which I’ll be posting on Wattpad for free eventually, then two projects I hope to get professionally published: a dark fantasy Robin Hood-retelling with lots of anarchist philosophy thrown in called Death & Taxes (that’s the trilogy), and a horror novella called Parasocial which is about a band dealing with a super-fan stalker. I’m also shopping around a completed dark fantasy novella with horror elements, currently waiting on a small press to make their decision on whether they want to buy it or not. As for non-writing projects, I’m working on the third in a four-set of seasonal cross stitch patterns. Not sketching anything right now, but the next thing I plan on drawing is either the MinKey Allure photoshoot, or Yotsuba&! + Spy x Family + Kotaro Lives Alone crossover fan art. Oh and I’m also learning Korean!!

I will warn y’all tho... TW: it gets pretty intense from around chapter 212 onwards. There are TW openings to chapters that are potentially triggering. Obviously as much as I love the fic it’s not without it’s faults and I’m more than happy to point it out if need be.
