I have no innate sense of time and I feel wretched and exhausted regardless of when I get up and we are currently, for convoluted life reasons, sleeping in the living room, which is close to the front door, which is close to the front yard.
so when my alarm is set to 10:30 AM, but a crow goes CAW CAW CAW until I pull on a shirt and sunhat and stumble outside, I don't know that it's actually 7:42 AM and birds are the fucking devil. I'm just out there, suffering.

have a script now that takes articles from wikinews & automatically gives me the wikidata identification codes for any page (wikipedia or wikinews) linked on the article :^)
#took a video that might end up posting in like an hour but i think tumblr just ate it#still relies on the author of the article to link to appropriate things but its a good first step towards including news in my app#the wikidata object gives me a lot of semantic info abt whatever it is - like is this a person is this a country is this an event etc#so i can have an automated rough idea of the topics in the article#hard part will be bridging the gap for when i dont have smth w a direct link to wiki...like for parsing RSS feeds from other news sites#prob gonna have to just bite the bullet & get some NLP going#ugh

#Is it because it's skipping some fics?#As far as I'm concerned it is something that can happen with this kind of automated feeds#but it usually wasn't anything as frequent as to cause concern#I'll check myself– if the problem is that it's skipping too many fics‚ I'll try to run the code again and see if that can fix the problem#Thank you so much for notifying me!!!#I don't visit that blog often so seriously if you see any issue you're more than encouraged to let me know!!!!!!!#people asks me stuff
