From Ursa Major day 3. rabbitreverie and I "twinned" Fée d'une Fleur/Soupir d'Ange with corsets. There are quite a few differences, but an attempt was made to keep the vibe similar!

I think the relaxing blue and pink tones contrast perfectly ☺

Juliette et Justine - La Fée d'Une Fleur Robe JSK (2008) in Sax

Here is another (old,) unposted picture of my floral pirate (I don't know the genre) outfit in 2019. I wore this Juliette et Justine JSK in a heavily modified way from its as-is design, with a corset on top and with sections of the front pinned up. It's pretty different, but I'm a fan of the effect and I think I'll probably recycle the idea in the future sometime. Herb took an excellent picture as always! ✨

I was fortunate enough to be sent the full body version of an image that I had previously posted. At that time, the focus was mostly on the skirt, and I really liked how it turned out so it's a joy to see it again. The pleasing colours and dreamy background create a very nice mood🐚 📷: @herbiecide2

Apparently 8/8 was corset day? So here's an outfit I never posted from almost 2 years ago exactly. I thought "bustling" feé d'une fleur made for a very interesting raggedy/pirate vibe, so I expanded on it. I turned up the brim of my handmade "classic" hat that I wear so often to a tricorn, and added flowers to create a dreamy classic-but-edgy look. I made the corset from scratch! I decided I wanted to make one for this outfit for a con way too close and was worried the boning wouldn't arrive in time. I'd post some process pictures, but unfortunately I don't think I have any anymore as my camera with them was stolen and I hadn't bothered to copy them off at the time 😢 In any case, feé d'une fleur remains the star of the outfit, and it never fails to impress.

Ahhhh! This is what happens when you grow a huge backlog 😫

This is the outfit I wore for my comm’s Summer International Lolita Day event (called St.Dolores) back in June!!

It’s almost time for winter ILD now ;_;

This dress is called “ La Fée d'Une Fleur” which roughly translates to “Fairy of the Flower”. I wanted to channel that feeling in my outfit, so I made my own wings and a few flower accessories.

JSK (La Fée d'Une Fleur/2018 version): Juliette et Justine Blouse: Krad Lanrete Socks: Angelic Pretty Shoes: Fluevog Blue flower accessories (on shoes, choker, and hair), wings: handmade other flower accessories (on side and back of head): Henriette and Melusine (both indie Japanese designers who specialize in handmade fake flower accessories.)

Okay, so I have the cutest story to share about this outfit - whilst waiting to have some pictures taken in the park during our meetup, this boy (probably no older than 4) and his mom come up to me. The boy asks me if I'm a fairy, and his mother tells him: "yes, she's a real fairy!" whilst also telling me that I look very nice. They leave, but approach me again a few moments later. The mother looks at me somewhat apologetically and says "Sorry, he is just in love with you"; and the boy shyly gives me a dandelion. I was really, really touched - possibly the best moment I've had with strangers in lolita. While I know that a lot of lolitas are often asked if they are princesses and the like, it has very rarely happened to me, so this alone was really special. I was somewhat shy and didn't really do much but thank them profusely, but I really hold this moment close to my heart - it reminds me that lolita has given me the most extraordinary feelings and opportunities ♥
