Scary Project 2025 and its authoritarian backers have marching orders ready for the next conservative President that gets elected (while probably losing the popular vote again as usual).

I ran across this a year or two ago, before Roe went down in flames. It's been frighteningly, and predictably, accurate.
We truly are all in this together.

From The Atlantic: Substack Has a Nazi Problem
[that link is to an archived version, so no paywall]
Bottom Line: the CEOs/leaders of Substack aren't just being laissez-faire about the fascists and open white supremacists on the platform, they actively boost them by having them on the company podcast, featuring them, mentioning them, and boosting them. Because the newsletters bring in LOADS of money and they love money. Even newsletters that repeatedly violate the basic, useless guidelines of Substack, they do not get punished.
This isn't a huge surprise for anyone who has been following the major issues with Substack that have come up in the past few years. There was the whole scandal where the public discovered that Substack had been paying people secretly to be on the service while advertising that anyone can make it on their own here! Plus, they were paying bigots directly to put their newsletters on the srvice.
Good breakdowns of that from Annalee Newitz and Grace Lavery.
Then there was the disasterous interview one of the CEOs (Chris Best) did with Nilay Patel of The Verge when Substack's Twitter clone launched. Nilay -- who is, if you hadn't guessed, of Indian descent -- asked him pointed questions about content moderation and... well...
[Nilay] I just want to be clear, if somebody shows up on Substack and says “all brown people are animals and they shouldn’t be allowed in America,” you’re going to censor that. That’s just flatly against your terms of service. [Best] So, we do have a terms of service that have narrowly prescribed things that are not allowed. That one I’m pretty sure is just flatly against your terms of service. You would not allow that one. That’s why I picked it. So there are extreme cases, and I’m not going to get into the– Wait. Hold on. In America in 2023, that is not so extreme, right? “We should not allow as many brown people in the country.” Not so extreme. Do you allow that on Substack? Would you allow that on Substack Notes? I think the way that we think about this is we want to put the writers and the readers in charge– No, I really want you to answer that question. Is that allowed on Substack Notes? “We should not allow brown people in the country.” I’m not going to get into gotcha content moderation. This is not a gotcha... I’m a brown person. Do you think people on Substack should say I should get kicked out of the country? I’m not going to engage in content moderation, “Would you or won’t you this or that?” That one is black and white, and I just want to be clear: I’ve talked to a lot of social network CEOs, and they would have no hesitation telling me that that was against their moderation rules. Yeah. We’re not going to get into specific “would you or won’t you” content moderation questions. Why? I don’t think it’s a useful way to talk about this stuff.
Best wasn't willing to get into these "gotchas" around their new social network, which is a pretty clear indication that they won't get into it around content moderation on the original platform. (Their statement after the fact did nothing to make things better.)
It's also really clear from the Atlantic article that the Substack CEOs/Owners are, at best, more interested in making money than in keeping white supremacists and Nazis (literal ones) off their platform. At worst, the Substack CEOs/Owners are supremacist/Nazi sympathizers. Either way:
Substack Directly Supports the Alt-Right, Nazis, and White Supremacists
Openly, brazenly, and without remorse.

Disney's Robbin Hood marries Maid Marian at the end of the film. Since marriage between commoners and aristocracy were illegal in the time period, we can infer then that Disney's Robbin Hood uses the cannon from Richard Grafton's 16th century Chronicle at Large or latter, when Robbin Hood goes from a yeoman to a member of the aristocracy, either the Earl of Huntingdon, or the later lord Locksley.
Tumblr media
This fox is, and always has been, a member of the aristocratic 1% defending his inherited wealth, power and privilege. His vendetta against Prince John and his denouncement of him as a tyrant is personal as Prince John infinged on the rights and privileges of the Nobles, which was illegal, and lead to him taking up arms abd leading a guerilla campaign, and as soon as a Absoulute monarch he personality agrees with returns, he bends the knee in exchangefor a pardon, the restorationon his estates, and a policaly benifical marrage.
Tumblr media
Behold the friendly face of Absoulute hereditary power!
In DnD terms, this verson of Robbin Hood is Lawfull Evil, fighting to uphold his own legal power and staiuts against an usurper.
Sad to say it given, he gave me my sexual awakening, but this fox is, and always has been, a fascist.
Tumblr media
I mean I'd still fuck both of them but the sex with Rob would be far angrier.
This fox, this guy right here:
Tumblr media
He's just a depressed millennial with childhood trauma running a gig economy job. He's not even doing anything particularly illegal, as shown by the only thing Judy (a frighteningly effective cop) can find to charge him with is tax evasion. He's a high functioning borderline genius level guy running street scams due to racial profiling barring access to higher education and better jobs, and once someone gives him an in he proves very very good at solving crimes. He had no ideological stake in this, he's in DnD terms true neutral tending towards chaotic neutral, but he does risk his life to stop and actual fascist coup that was happening hidden behind a facade of public safety (looks at canera), which is something. He's an everyman antihero who sells out for a job with helthcare and/or bunny boobies at the first chance he gets, very relatable.
This Fox, is and always has been, Moray grey.
Tumblr media
and he fucking knows it, the sexy beast.
In conclusion, Disney has always been a Conservative company filled with left leaning creators, and Sometimes thier furry kink critique of the current system leaks out and they are at their best when it does.

The greatest revelation you will ever have about US politics
is when it finally clicks for you that Republicans and Democrats are only play-fighting to give you the illusion of democracy
They are on the same side, and have been for a long time. Stop listening to their lies, and start watching their actions
They are both pushing the same policies, protecting the interests of the same donors, and both upholding EVERY oppressive system
The system will give you fascism no matter who you support

“This brutal war is not only mass murder of people and destruction of the infrastructure, economy, and cultural sites of Ukraine, but also a severe blow to the future of Russia, a country that is now pushed back into totalitarianism, but this time into a fascist totalitarianism.
We are being punished for daring to criticize authority.” —Oleg Orlov

A Southern California business owner was shot and killed Friday by a man who objected to an LGBTQ+ Pride flag displayed at her clothing store, officials said.
America, 2023.
Frankly, I'm shocked to read that the cops gave the killer a bullet and not a trophy. Fuck the police but good shot.
(Yes, I am absolutely furious.)
It's not a popular statement to make, but I am grateful for all of the people who call themselves our allies and show up when it matters. I am grateful for the life that Laura Ann Carleton lived, for her commitment to being a visible ally in her community, and I am outraged that her life was cut short.
But I do have to say this:
I am also angry that the death of a cishet ally is already receiving more public outrage than the wave of transphobia that has been taking place in this country this year. I am angry because the death of an ally is already getting more media attention than the innumerable acts of violence committed against queer and trans people every day in this country ever will.
We are in a critical and dangerous time for queer and trans rights, for the safety of queer and trans people, and for freedom of expression in general.
Allies? Speak up.
And, conservatives? Anti-queer Christians? Trans-exclusionary feminists? I don't want to hear your pointless platitudes. I'm not interested in your "thoughts and prayers" or your preaching about how "violence is never the answer". You're complicit in these acts of violence against the LGBTQIA community and against our allies. Own your shit and be fucking silent.

Amongst some of the proposals for a second Trump Admin:
- end surrogacy
- end no fault divorce
- invoke the insurrection act to stop protests
- end sex education in schools
- stop policies that “subsidize single motherhood”

Honestly how can anyone be *this* delusional?
Even the most hardcore Zionist wouldn’t make this argument.
I mean, they might come up with dubious explanations as to why the air strikes happened, but they wouldn’t deny they actually happened.
This is straight up Orwellian.

You can't say to an average Russian person that Russia is a fascist state. They will not even comprehend what it means. We fought fascism, haven't you learned it in school? Nazis came here to eradicate us because they hated slavic people, everyone knows that.
In Russia fascism is kind of synonymous with russophobia. And any anti Russian sentiment is russophobia. Hence if you criticize Russia in any way - you are a fascist.
It sounds ridiculous but it is really how they think. Not always so formalized, because when said out loud it becomes so obviously wrong that even the most far gone tankie can recognize it. No, this is almost entirely in the vibes. And also it becomes very important to really prove that hated russophobes are indeed nazis, even though them being nazis is always the initial assumption even before any evidence.
And proving is always very easy. There are nazis everywhere, in almost all social groups. Want to discredit opposition? You know that some of them are nazis? Navalny is of course a nazi. And haven't you heard about Azov battalion?
It matters not that by the same logic all the Russians are nazis too. Russians can never be fascists.
By definition.
Because we are victims of fascism, haven't you learned it in school?
We have this all absolving badge of victimhood and heroism that trumps all criticism and all self reflection.
But Russia is also a colonialist empire that oppressed many people and waged countless wars. Of course it would be doing this classic song and dance of overstating harm and 'yeah we slaughter them but they were mean to us for oppressing them so it is basically self defense'.
...
The fact that it is the same shit with Israel sounds like a sick tasteless joke.
It is truly maddening that if there ever in human history was a group of people who SHOULD FUCKING KNOW BETTER, it would be jews.
Fascism is the disease of human selfishness and cruelty. It never dies out, it can only go dormant for a little while. It will always resurface if you stop taking medicine. And the idea that you can be immune to it is the most dangerous misconception there is.
You can never let your guard down. Never.

You can also email the representatives in your state calling on them to release a statement condemning the Tennessee house speaker for refusing to allow elected representatives serve their constituents. Honestly I would recommend doing the same thing, sending a letter to your reps and to the president, for Flordia right now. DeSantis has violated the constitution enough times that letter should be thick.
Update: Unfortunately Justin Jones and Justin J. Pearson have been expelled as of a day ago. They are still dedicated to fighting this fascist government and I fully believe these wonderful people are going to bring about great change!
Another update: Justin Jones has been reinstated!
Update: Justin J. Pearson has also been reinstated!!!! HUGE win for democracy! These guys are going to make waves. 👏👏👏👏👏
